9: 17 pm
Yn's P.O.V
Looking at Taehyung who just shrugged his shoulders, I awkwardly let out a laugh as I look at Taeyung and say;
"Because I don't have any cloth- um pajamas.. for... for our sleepover! S-So I asked your Appa if he can let me borrow his."
"We're having a sleepover?!"
Taeyung asked excitedly and I nodded;
"Yeah, your Appa let us to have a sleepover in the living room but we can only stay up until 11."
I felt Taehyung's eyes glaring at me and but I just nervously bit my lip and tried to ignore him as I continued;
"It'll be fun, we're going to eat ice cream-"
"No you're not-"
"No one's talking to you. Only Taeyung is invited to my sleepover!"
"Wow, really? Can we build a fort?! Ohh! Ohh!! Can we watch movies? Can we-"
"Yes."
"No."
I looked over at Taeyung who immediately started pouting at his father's word, this made me glare at Taehyung, who was already shooting ice cold glares at me.
"I don't see anything wrong with having a sleepover-"
"My baby bear has a school tomorrow, he can't be staying up all night-"
"He won't and are you seriously making him go to school tomorrow after everything that happened today?!"
"Don't raise your voice at me, Miss Lee."
"With all due respect.. Sir, I think that you should let Taeyung take at least a few days off of school-"
"And why would I do that?"
Is this guy serious?!
"Because a child's mental health is much more important that their education.. I mean come on Taehyung.. he.. heard everything."
I clench my teeth as I say that last part as quietly as I can as I didn't want to think about the look on Taeyung's face.
Taehyung's P.O.V
After Yn said that, I noticed the sad look on her face and Taeyung must've noticed too because he silently held her hand, so with a heavy sigh, I looked down at Taeyung and asked;
"Baby bear... do you want to go to school tomorrow or do you want to stay home with Appa and Miss Yn?"
Taehyun looks up at me and softly says;
"I want to stay here in the house with you and Miss Yn, Appa. Can I please?"
"Of course you can baby, in fact.. I'll arrange for you to stay with us for the rest of the week, okay?"
This made Taeyung squeal excitedly as he immediately went to my side and I chuckled as I kneeled down to hug him properly;
"Thank you so much Appa."
I just kissed his cheek and smiled when he kissed mine back.. but then I heard someone clear their throat.
"So.. are you still up for that sleepover sweetie?"
Yn asked and Taeyung nodded but then pointed at me and said;
"Only if Appa is invited too."
And when Yn started nodding, I started to shake my head which made both Taeyung and Yn look at me;
"No.. that's okay. You two can go ahead and have your little sleepover, I need to-"
"You need to what? Work? Because if I remember correctly... you're not going to work for the rest of the week-"
"Yes but-"
"But nothing, you're joining us, right Taeyungie?"
"Right Miss Yn! Appa it's 2 against 1 so now you HAVE to join."
I scoffed in disbelief as I didn't actually think that they were serious about this... but by the looks on both of their faces, I couldn't get out of this. But I still tried to reason with Yn,
"Miss Lee-"
"You heard your son. You're joining us... Sir."
I sighed as they both celebrated their victory and then Yn says;
"Okay, now.. before any sleepover.. what's the first thing we need to do?"
Taeyung and I looked at each other and I shrugged while he tried answering;
"Um.. build a fort?"
"Yes! Now Taeyung.. what do we need for our fort?"
"Hmm... pillows.. oh! and blankets!"
"Good answer, now you and Appa go and get those things and while I pick what movie to watch, you two will set it up-"
"Wait.. why do we--- Why do YOU get the easy job?!"
I asked complaining, as I watch Yn get the tv remote and sit down on the couch;
"Because.. as the MEN of the house, you guys need to build the fort-"
"Appa!"
"No quit slacking and go help Taeyung out."
I couldn't help but let out a laugh while she smirked at me, I was absolutely bewildered, first I give her the job, then I save her life and now... I let her stay with us for a while and suddenly she's the queen of the house;
"Fine.. just don't put on any scary movies."
"dOnt PuT oN aNy ScAry MoViEs."
I roll my eyes at her while she chuckles at me;
"You're so immature-"
"YoU'rE sO iMmAtUrE."
I can't help smile as I shake my head at her and start walking down the hall, all the while Yn burst into fits of laughter.
- 30 minutes later -
After about 30 minutes of hard work, Taeyung and I managed to make a pretty okay blanket fort in the living room,
"Okay, I'll go and make popcorn-"
Yn says, handing me the remote, but I cut her off;
"No, it's okay. I can go do that. You stay here with Taeyung and play the movie."
I offered but she shook her head at me and walks into the kitchen and softly says;
"No, it's okay, I can do it."
I follow after her with the remote in my hand while pulls out a bag of popcorn from the cabinet and I try to reason with her as I calmly say;
"As our guest, I insist on making the popcorn."
I was expecting for Yn to start arguing back but what she says next.. completely catches me off guard.
After she closes the cabinet doors and puts the bag of popcorn into the microwave, she turns around and walks towards me and softly says;
"Well.. as my husband.. I insist on making the popcorn.. as a thank you for saving my life."
