Aaron wakes up in the middle of the night to Aph trying to get comfortable “having a hard time babe?" "mhmm, the baby doesn't like how I lay." “I wish I knew how to help you..” Aaron sighs “would more pillows help?" "be lucky you don't have to carry a baby and maybe some pillows might help..." She has a mood swing, He gets up letting Aph get comfortable with all of the pillows. "thanks babe.." she smiles, “Want any crackers while I’m up or a drink?" "drink.." she whines, "I want woof too.." Aaron nods and kisses her head softly “of course babe…” He quickly grabs woof and brings it back to her “here’s woof… you just want flavored water?" "thank you baby and yes." She cuddles the plush he gifted her on Valentine's day. Aaron smiles, She relaxes falling asleep.
With Katelyn
Katelyn is very uncomfortable, Her best friend Luka walks in with comfort food. She looks at her “hey.." "hey how's um pregnancy going..." “I’m mad… mad that I’m doing this with little to no support… mad that this pregnancy had made my body feel this level of uncomfort in places that aren’t supposed to feel uncomfortable… I feel weak and exhausted but it feels like all my organs are being crushed so I can’t sleep... And I'm hungry..." "I'm so sorry we'll I figured I'd check on you and bring some comfort food. "I'm here to help you Katelyn so I hope the food will help.." “Thank you… did you bring my favorite water as well?” "always, She smiles "she gives her comfort food and flavored water. Katelyn slowly sits up and eats the food like a vacuum. She smiles massaging her back "it'll be ok..." “Mmm that was so good..” she smiles She smiles "want me to start a shower for you?" “I just want this pregnancy to not screw up my body, but yes I would like for you to start me a shower..." "I understand is there any other way I can help as your friend?" she starts her shower, She drinks all of her water in two gulps. "your shower's ready." "ok..." "Want help walking there?" “Yes please..” She gets up and helps step and sits her down "want me to leave the room so you can get undressed and clean?" She nods, She leaves the bathroom so she can shower.
She gets in the shower and just sits unable to stand up, "do you need help?" “I can’t move..” "I'll help you but won't look." She walks in not looking at her and helps her up. She’s tense but still attempts to wash herself. She puts her hand on the handle then walks out of the bathroom.
She finishes and turns off the shower. "Did that shower help?" “Kind of…” "ok would anything else help?"More water…?” "I'm on it..."
With kc
Kc is snuggling Zane, There's a knock at the door, "I'll go check it." He opens the door wait babe it's a baby." "What??" "It's a baby boy on our doorstep." Kc gets up and walks to him “what in the world??" "A baby..." Kc gently picks him up “shh little one…” The baby relaxes, Kc looks at Zane “what do we do…” "this boy we need to take care of him..." “Well duh. But like… what do we do? I know the basics like how to change a diaper but… Aphmau! We need to call Aphmau." He sees a piece of paper, "his name it's Souta.." "well Aphmau y'know the girl that helped me that day y'know when I was being bullied by Gene and almost beat me up when she stepped in and helped when she then showed her true self, she could help us." “Yea… she might know something about babies… she is possibly Latina after all…”
"I'll try and call her." He dials her number “Ok." Aaron picks up her phone “hello?” "Hello this is Zane, is Aphmau there, and who is this?' “This is Aaron, her boyfriend… and yea she’s sleeping because she’s not feeling well… what’s up?" "well a baby was set on our step and me and my girlfriend don't know much if raising a little one and may need help..." “Come on over… I can help… do you know how old the little one is?" "about 1-year old I think he looks more like an infant though." “Ok.. yea come on over. Do you know the apartment number we live in?" He thinks for a moment, "15?" “14, but close enough. Yea come on over.." "ok we're on our way see ya..."
Aaron hangs up the phone, He takes the baby in his hands "c'mon let's head to apartment 14." Kc nods “ok… do they know what to do?" "Well... Aaron seems to..." "Ok..." "How's the baby doing?" He points at her stomach, Kc sighs, “I’m not feeling sick so I’m doing fine..." "alright good. Let's go." She nods “poor little one…" "yeah let's go." They walk out the door.
There's a knock on the apartment door that disturbs Aphmau's sleep, Aaron rubs her back “shh… it’s ok baby it’s ok…” “I’m going to go answer the door." She relaxes, falling back to sleep. Zane walks inside "hey..." Aaron walks to them “oh yea he looks maybe 4 months old at least…” Aaron sighs what was on the note?" "Oh ok, so how do we take care of him?" He passed him the note. “His name is Souta, his date of birth says he’s only 4 ish months old… so you still have a newborn…” "that makes sense..." Aaron gently takes Souta into his arms “shh little buddy… since you’re still a newborn you need formula… and his diaper is soiled with poop so I’m going to change that right now…” "ok and thank you, Aaron..." "Anytime..." The two are interrupted by Souta's wailing. Aaron softly rocks Souta in his arms. He starts to relax, not liking the feeling of poop on him. "Will he be ok?" Aaron nods “yea once I clean him up he should calm down a little” Aaron walks into Lilith's nursery and quickly changes his diaper putting powder in the diaper “all clean little man…”
He babbles happily, He takes him back to Zane “and here’s a happy baby." "aww hi buddy." he giggles, “He’s also got a rash so I’m going to write a list of good products that should help get rid of it…” Kc looks at him “how do you know all of this? Aaron looks down “Ummm..." "ok is there anything else we should know about parenting?" “Teething is a pain… in about three months you can start introducing him to soft foods like bananas." "Ok, thanks so much." Aphmau starts whining, "Aaron!"
Aaron's eyes widen “be right back” he goes to Aph “yes babe? "I had a nightmare.." She whines, "I need cuddles..." “I’ll be right there babe… Lilith is going to wake up soon, ok?" "mhmm.." Lilith starts waking up wailing, "dada!!" Aaron kisses her head and jogs to Lilith and picks her up “shh… dada is here…” "dada." She coos smiling, grabbing his nose. Aaron's eyes widened “that was your first word!?" She pulls on his nose, Aaron smiles “yay you said dada” he gently bounces her. Aaron turns around and sees Zane “hi… " Kc smiles “no wonder you know what to do…” "dada!" Lilith giggles babbling. Aaron kisses her head, She smiles falling asleep but a red flashing in her eyes as she falls asleep. Aaron lays her back down worried “I love you little one."
A few days later
Aaron is trying to calm Aph down “baby please take a deep breath… Everything is okay now… I fixed it…” "fixed what!!" she's frantic about finals. “I fixed the sink… but hun I’m here to help you study ok? You know I can help…” "I I Know I'm just having pregnancy mood swings and I'm freaking out. Being a sophomore is really difficult..." Aaron gently hugs her “shh… baby I’m right here… do you need a break?' "mhmm..." "This baby is making it hard to walk, she looks at the mirror, her eyes white. He rubs her back, “Want me to lay you down in bed?” "no-no..." She starts getting quiet as she puts on her purple bandana. “Wanna go hold Lilith for a while?" "no no.." she speaks quietly as she walks into their room shutting the door.
Aaron sighs, Aphmau starts pacing back and forth, "aphmau you need to chill the hell out calm down he can't know!!" Aaron goes to Lilith and picks her up and sits in the rocking chair “want dada cuddles?” "dada cuddles." Her eyes are slightly red. Aaron holds her close, rocking her. Lilith relaxes her eyes back to normal. Aaron smiles. “Let’s both take a nap ok? Dada will hold you the whole time." she nods, Aaron stands up walking to the couch, and lays down “want dada to have his shirt on…? Or do you want dada’s skin?” She's already snoring cutely asleep, Aaron falls asleep shortly after.
Aphmau shortly steps out calmed down but her bandana is on. She hugs her boyfriend and newborn daughter. Aaron starts waking up, "my family my true family..." Aaron smiles tiredly, she smiles. "I love you..." "I love you too baby." her watch buzzes, He yawns trying to stay awake.
"oh, right work I have to adult..." He’s still trying to fight sleep, obviously losing. She smiles sadly "I love you both and I'll see you both in a while. She gets her work outfit on and then heads out the door.
