Natasha's POV,
It had been a month since Steve and I's make-out session and things were going great, dates every week, movies almost every night, we have been keeping our relationship a secret from the rest of the avengers, which is really hard especially keeping it from Clint.
"Agent Romanoff, I need you" Nick said as he knocked on my bedroom door
Riping me out of my thoughts
"Coming" I replied as I walked to the door opening it
"You and Cap are leaving on a mission, meet me in the meeting room and we'll discuss" he said
I nodded and he walked away
I quickly got dressed into my black widow suit and headed towards the meeting room.
"Do you know what this is about" Steve asked as he caught up with me
I shook my head "no, I don't"
"Sit" Nick said as Steve and I walked into the meeting room
We nodded and sat down
Nick looked at me with a sympathetic look and sighed "the red rooms back" he said in almost a whisper
Steve looked at him confused "red room?"
Nick nodded
"The red room is an organization that my father started, to train people like me" I stated noticing the confusion on Steve's face
"And that's bad" Steve asked with furrowed eyebrows
Nick and I nodded
"really bad" Nick said
"It's not the nicest place on earth" I added
"If there back that means so is your father" Nick said sympathetically
I nodded "I know and I'll be ready for him to attack"
Nick nodded and went over the plan.
"Are you sure your ready for this" Steve asked me concern as we got into the car
I sighed "ready as I'll ever be"
He glanced over at me before turning his attention back to the road "he's your dad"
"I know but he was a terrible one" I replied
"What could've he done that was so terrible your willing to kill him" he asked curiously
"Things you can't even imagine" I replied nonchalantly not wanting to remember all the terrible things he had put me through
After a few hours of riding in silence we made it to the location. We got out and started on the plan, once inside the building I took out the four gaurd's up front while Steve shielded himself and took out the five behind him. Once we reached the computer room, I took out my flash drive and put it into the computer getting all the files for the new and old red room. When all the sudden I felt a sharp pain in my head an everything went black after that.
"Look who's up" said a familiar male voice as my eyes opened
"Dad?" I asked once my vision came back to me
He smirked "so you do remember, good"
I looked around the cold dark room, looking for Steve but I couldn't find him anywhere.
"Your partner is... preoccupied" he said as he saw me looking around the dark room
"What did you do to him" I asked in anger
"Don't worry he's alive...for now" he replied with a smirk
I was gonna say something but I know what would happen if he found out I have feelings for the super soldier.
"Bring him in" he told one of the guards
The guard nodded
Shortly after the doors opened and I was horrified at the sight, Steve was covered in blood from being beaten.
"What'd you do to him" I asked anger in my voice
My father chuckled evil "do you have feelings for him Natalia"
I didn't answer I just looked over at Steve.
"Because you know what we do to people who have feelings" he added with a smirk
I nodded and the doors opened again
"Wanda?" I asked in disbelief "that's impossible she's dead" I said
My father chuckled "was" he added
"What do you mean wa-" before I could finish Wanda walked over to me and I saw a flash of red
Next thing I knew I'm in a hospital room, I saw Steve with a brunette woman, the woman was getting a ultrasound.
"Congratulations, it's a girl" the doctor said happily
The brunette woman and Steve looked at each other and smiled before he pecked her lips.
'Where the hell am I' I wondered to myself
Then it moved and I was in a car with Steve and the brunette woman except the brunette looked farther along in her pregnancy.
"Steve watch that car" she shouted as a car was driving on the wrong side of the road, Steve swerved an hit a tree
"Peggy" he cried noticing all the blood
Then it moved again and we were at a tombstone.
"I'm sorry man" Tony said sympathetically as he hugged Steve
"I loved her" Steve said with tears running down his cheeks
"I know" Tony replied lowly as he pat his brothers back
Then it jumped again and I was in some type of lab it looked like, a bright light appeared and Clint walked out he looked like he had been crying.
"Clint where's Nat" Bruce asked as he was in a half hulk and half human form of himself
'huh, didn't know he could do that' t I thought to myself
Clint didn't say anything but he told them with his eyes, Steve looked at him then looked down at the ground tears threatening to spill from his ocean blue eyes.
Then it jumped again and we were at another tombstone, my tombstone.
"Did we know if she had any family" Tony asked as he squatted down to be level with Steve taking his shades off
"Yeah, us" Steve replied as a single tear ran down his cheek
Then I woke back up in the same cold dark room that I was in just moments ago. I looked over to see Steve who looked at me confused and terrified at the same time.
"Are you okay" I asked him gently
He didn't say anything he just looked away from me.
My father chuckled evil "he saw the monster you truly are"
I looked at him with my eyebrows furrowed in confusion
"You saw his worst nightmares, he saw yours" he added with a evil smirk
My eyes grew wide in fear "no" I cried out
He just smirked all the sudden there was a blast and my father went flying across the room.
"Miss me" Tony asked as he was in his iron man suite
I could practically see his iconic smirk through his suit.
After hours of intense battling we finally won and made our way back to the avengers tower.
"Steve-" I called out
"I need to think" he said without turning to look at me
I nodded even though he couldn't see it "okay" I replied in almost a whisper and he left
