Today I was planning Adam's party an man was I excited. I had asked Guy, Charlie and Averman to come help me since they talk to Adam more an Averman is just funny. We had to wait until lunch to go get the stuff so that's what we did. I waited for them outside the school an once they got out here we rollerbladed to the stores
G- so whatcha think about doing for Adam?
D- I don't know! he isn't the easiest person to plan for!
Av- well Char you are close to him, tell us what dear old baby Banksie likes
I chuckled at what he said as Charlie started to talk
C- well he is childish at time an his favorite show is Rugrats so maybe something like that? he likes to get away from hockey sometimes so nothing hockey themed and he loves ice cream cake so we can get him that
Av- like I said they are secret lovers
Charlie hit Averman on the head making us laugh before we got to the party shop, we switched into our actual shoes before walking in.
D- okay um we only have 30 minutes so I'm gonna go look at the decorations
G- I will go check out the balloons
C- I'm gonna see if they got any cool banners
Av- I will go flirt with the counter lady
we rolled our eyes playfully before going to do what we said we would, I looked at all the streamers an other decorations trying to think what would be best for him until I found the perfect decorations. We all met at the counter an paid for everything, I think I was more excited than any one else. *skipping to the party because why not* Luckily it was Saturday so we had morning practice but that was all, literally right after that the ducks expect Charlie Guy an of course Dean ran to the lunch room to set up. we moved so much shit an set up all the decorations I really hope he likes it, Connie was next to me as we blew up balloons laughing when one of us either realsed one or popped one. Charlie an Guy were distracting Adam which thank god, it took us literally almost 2 ours to set up before we all got into the outfits

(her outfit lol) (Averman is Chucky of course, Dil is Charlie, Susie is Goldberg(he chose to lol)( Guy is Howard, Connie is Betty, Dwayne and Luis are Phil an Lil (Dwayne is the girl but gender bended an Luis is the boy) (Russ is raptor, an Dean, Julie an Fulton refused to dress up but they still are coming. assholes)( Oh an Adam is Tommy when he comes)
I stood with Connie an man I was nervous, what if he hated it??? what if he thinks it's dumb??
Co- you okay Dakota? you seem nervous
D- just scared he won't like it is all
than Dwayne chimed in
Dw- don't worry about it too much Dakota, he will love it!
I nodded with a smile as I heard the front doors to the lunch room open. Charlie came in wearing his outfit an so did Guy, Adam had a blindfold on his eyes while the two guys lead him. Charlie looked at me an I nodded before he removed Adam's blindfold, we all yelled surpise an he smiled widley
A- wow honestly I love it!
we laughed at his reaction before he walked over to me, I was holding his outfit (he wears jeans with a blue top because she ain't gonna let him walk around in a diaper)
A- you did all of this?
D- with loads of help but yes
he smiled an placed his hands on the side of my face before kissing me, some cheered as he did making us laugh into the kiss before pulling away
D- put this on!
he held the outfit an looked at me
A- Tommy pickles? whose Dil?
I pointed to Charlie who was smiling at us
A- makes sense, I will be right back
he walked out to change so everyone just started to talk, Russ played some music an we all jammed out. Adam joined an we all were having a blast, it came time to cut the cake so everyone gathered around, it was surprising that Dean an Julie kept their mouths shut but I'm glad they did nothing can ruin this day for Adam. Instead of singing happy birthday we played the rugrats theme song making him smile widely an laugh as we all did. once the song finished he blew out his candles while we cheered an clapped, I started cutting the cake an handing it out to everyone while Adam hugged me from behind an rested his chin on my shoulder
D- having a good time?
A- the best time, thank you for putting this all together
D- always, oh I got you something!
he let go of me so I could go behind the set up an grabbed the gift before walking back to him
D- it's not much but I just thought you would like it..

he stared at it for a while not saying anything, I picked at my nails nervously as time past.. than I saw something wet hit the heart. I looked at Adam's face an saw he had tears falling from his eyes
D- I'm sorry I didn-
he cut me off by chuckling an looked at me as he wiped his tears away
A- I love it D, it's literally the best gift anyone could ever have given me.. thank you
he hugged me so tight carefully not to ruin the gift as I hugged back, he moved his head an gave me a kiss on the cheek making me smile as we both pulled back smiling like complete idiots.. we went back to socializing with everyone else when the door opened an someone walked in
D- I'm sorry the lunch room is closed for the night!

my heart froze as the person came into view.. it was my older sister who was twin's with my other brother who passed away
D- Quin?
she chuckled an put her hands in her back pockets
Q- surprise
I was frozen as I looked at her, she walked closer to me an held out her arms
Q- can I hug you?
I nodded as she wrapped her arms around me an hugged me. I haven't seen her since the incident because she took off with her boyfriend an his family to Scottland. she pulled back an held onto my face
Q- look at how big you have gotten, geez you are getting so old!
D- your one to talk
she chuckled as Dean came over next to me, she let go of my face an stood up straight looking at Dean
De- why the hell you here?
Q- I came to see my siblings, is that a problem?
De- yeah it is because you have been gone for a year or two with no calls or nothing
Q- I had my reasons Dean..
I shock my head looking at my feet until she held onto my hands
Q- come on Dakota, let's leave this preppy place. come back to Chicago with me!
I looked up at her with wide eyes removing my hands from hers
De- her go with you? are you mental?! she has school here an a oppurnity! you always have been selfish you know that?
she got up in Dean's face
Q- wanna say it to my face Dean?
De- I just did moron!
I got in between them pushing them apart
D- stop it! it's Adam's birthday now isn't the time for this!
she looked at me confused
Q- Adam?
D- he's my boyfriend..
she looked at me with a huge smile
Q- I'm so proud of you for finally getting one!
I rolled my eyes before Adam walked over putting his arm around my waist as Dean rolled his eyes
A- everything okay?
Quin looked at him with her usually smiling before holding out her hand
Q- I'm Quin, her older sister! you must be her boyfriend Adam right?
he shock her hand with a smile
A-that's me, what's going on here?
he let go of her hand an stayed next to me
D- she was just telling me that she wants me to uh go back to Chicago with her
Adam looked right at me an I knew it upseted him
A- can you excuse us for a second?
Quin nodded so Adam held onto my hand an walked over to the door before talking
A- going back to Chicago? you just got back
D- I know, I never said I was gonna go! she is probably just gonna up an leave again like she always does
A- I will go with you than!
D- no Banks, you have a future here an all your friends. you can't go an leave them all
A- but I want to be with you where ever you go, I haven't seen you in 8 months! I finally got you back an I can't let you go again
I sighed an held onto his hands kissing his knuckles
D- I'm not going with her okay? let's just enjoy the party yes?
he nodded an kissed my forehead before letting go of my hands and walking back over to Charlie an the ducks. I walked back to my sister who was waiting for me
Q- so you gonna come?
D- Quin, I can't go. I have friends here, a boyfriend and a chance at getting into a good college. I'm not leaving them
Q- so you are choosing friends over family?
I looked at her with a straight face
D- they are my family.
with that I turned on my heel an walked over to the table taking a seat next to Adam stealing a bite out of his cake. Quin walked out after I said that, I felt bad for hurting her but I knew I made the right chose, at least I hope I did.
