the party I would say was a success, everyone seemed to be having a great time including Dean an Julie. Adam was having a blast even when I smashed cake in his face which caused a huge cake war to break out which was hilarious, We all started to clean up the mess by we all I mean the ducks expect Adam an I.

G- an you guys aren't helping because?

D- I planned this all an he's the birthday boy so nope!

they continued to clean up until Charlie an Guy gave up and sat down making me laugh before I decided to help them out. it was pretty late by the time we all finished up an I'm sure everything was tired. the only people who were left in the lunch room was me, Adam, Charlie and Guy. we all sat at a table an we just talking

G- so you have a great party Adam?

A- yeah I enjoyed it, was pretty fun to get to vibe with everyone without having to worry about 

C- it did feel good to have a break from all the drama

we all nodded in agreement an continued to talk

G- we should do something tomorrow

C- yeah since we have night practice maybe go skating or even just go watch a movie?

A- I can agree with skating maybe after I finish homework we can go?

we all nodded again before chose to head to bed since we all were pretty tired. After getting back to the dorms an falling asleep the morning rolled around an I was exhausted, I yawned an looked over seeing Adam reading something at his desk so I sat up and stretched before standing up an wrapping my arms around his neck while resting my chin on top of his head

D- morning, did you sleep well?

he didn't say anything which confused me, I moved my head to the side to see his face but he was just looking at the letter

D- whose that from?

he sighed an handed it to me so I stood up letting go of his neck so I can read it

A-it's from my dad.

the letter said "remembered your birthday was yesterday. here's some skates that were your brothers, maybe this time you can actually play like him instead of playing like a two year old who just learned to walk." I finished reading the letter an I crumbled it up and threw it out

D-he's wrong you know?

Adam looked at me confused

D- you don't play bad at all, you are literally the best player on the team.. I'm not just saying this because I'm your girlfriend, I'm saying this because it's true. you don't need to be like your brother, you can just be Adam because Adam is just as good.

he smiled at me before standing up an kissing me. (yes cringe lmao) He pulled back but he looked like he had something on his mind

D-what is it?

A- can I ask you something?

I nodded as he sighed an took a seat on the bed

A- can you tell me more about Quin? 

I continued to smile before putting my hair in a messy bun and sitting next to him

D- well um she is twins with my older brother, the one that passed away. she took off when he died which it's about to be two years. (they are a year older than Dean) she left at age 16 with her boyfriend at the time to Scotland. she never called or even visited us since she left, she went complete MIA. she was hyper, happy, an the best person to be around when Davin (I found his name haha) was still alive.. after he died she just gave up in a way
