Part 51 (@Vickystories21) THIS WILL BE LAST THE CHAPTER<333333

I sat up in my room after the big blow out, I didn't say a word after my mom told me I was getting sent away.. they haven't told me where I was going exactly other than I was going to a boarding school. I heard footsteps coming up my stairs and into the hallway, my door opened and Adam walked in all bloody up. I sighed and I knew Andrew had done it to him, I walked into my bathroom and grabbed a wet rag before returning my room where I had Adam sit on my bed so I could clean up his bloody face.

D- he really did a number on ya

A- yeah well this is what I get for starting a fight with a guy whose a foot taller than me

I chuckled a little as he smiled wincing as he did so because he had a cut on his lip. I was about half way done with cleaning him up when my door opened again and Scott walked in with his arms crossed

S- Dakota. pack your shit, you are leaving tomorrow morning at 6am.

A- leaving?

I looked at Adam as Scott did the same

S- I will let you tell your little boyfriend the news.

he walked out of my room slamming the door

A- Dakota what does he mean leaving?

I sighed an sat next to him 

D- I am being sent to a boarding school..

his eyes widen as I said those words an honestly I don't blame him

A- what why?

D-  I guess they are just sick of taking care of me, I don't blame them honestly.. I put them through hell everyday

A- okay but they do the same to you! why does it have to be your fault?! why do you have to be the one to go away?!

his eyes were glossy an his voice cracked when he spoke, I knew he was gonna cry 

A- h-how long will you be gone?

I shrugged my shoulders because even I didn't know the answer to that. I stood up and started to pack up my suitcase while Adam sat there and watched me. It didn't take me too long to have all my stuff packed up so once I did that I just cuddled up with Adam as he laid on my chest practically holding onto me for dear life. a hour passed an there was a knock on my door so I got up an opened it revealing my mother

E- can I come in?

I nodded an moved over so she could come in, once she did she took a seat at my desk chair while I sat on my bed. Adam immediately put his head in my lap an put my hand on his head signaling for me to play with his hair which I did

D- what did ya need?

E- well um I figured I should tell you where you are going exactly

I nodded an waited for her to continue

E- you are being sent to Diamond Ranch Academy which is a all girls boarding school in Hurricane, Utah.. it's 21 hours away an you will be staying on campus

my mouth was wide open in shock as Adam sat up with the same expression as me

D- why the hell am I being sent that far?!

E-your father figured it would be best for you to get away and get some help with everything that has happened

D- so sending me 1,000 something miles away is what you think is best?

E- Dakota we aren't doing this because we don't love you or that we don't care we just want our sweet little girl back-

I cut her off before she could finish

D- well she's fucking gone and if you send me there you will never hear from me again and that's a promise.

she sighed and stood up heading to the door

E- make sure to get some sleep tonight, it's gonna be a long ride and the van that picks you up will be here at exactly 6.

she walked out of my room as I laid back annoyed with the world, Adam laid back on my chest and we stayed silent which is how we remained the rest of the night besides the small talk in between or the casual kisses that either he gave me or i gave him. *the next morning* getting up the next morning was rough, it was about 5:30 an I was exhausted. I had to get ready in which I just threw on sweats with one of Adam's hoodies (his ducks one of course). I slipped on my shoes an sat down at the table to eat my breakfast as Adam joined me holding my hand the whole time

E- Dakota, is your stuff packed?

I just nodded making her shake her head as she started cleaning up from breakfast. Once I finished eating I put the dish in the sink and brought down my suitcase, once I put it down Adam immedatliey hugged me an nuzzled his head into my neck

A- I'm gonna miss you so much..

I hugged him back just as tight

D- I will be back sooner than you know it, just don't forget about me okay Banks?

A- I could never forget you..

we both pulled apart and he kissed me, I kissed back just as fast and we didn't pull away until we both needed air.. I heard a car horn and I sighed knowing it was for me, they all followed me outside an the driver took my suitcase putting it in the trunk as my mom hugged me.. I didn't bother hugging her back

E- I am sorry for this Dakota.. trust me I am

D- yeah whatever.

she let go an Scott looked at me, I flipped him off making him roll his eyes before I hugged Adam one last time.. we hugged for a while before the driver said it was time to go, we let go an I opened the car door before looking at Adam

D- I will see you again banks, an when I do it will be on the ice . 

I got into the car and shut the door, I waved bye to Adam and the car started to drive off.. I guess my journey ends here. goodbye Chicago, goodbye Minnesota, goodbye Dean, goodbye friends and especially Goodbye Adam Banks.. I will forever remember the boy from Minniesota who stole my heart away.. goodbye to you all, Dakota Portman out.
