KALE'S SAIYAN RAGE
A BERSERKER UNLEASHED
I open my eyes, still in Caulifla's hideout, I put on my torn gi and walked out, noticing her gang was nowhere to be seen.
Y/N: Cabba? Caulifla? Anyone?
I walk outside. Nobody outside either.
*BOOM*
An explosion erupted in the distance
Y/N: SHOOT!
I fly toward it, and that's when I spotted them, Cabba and Caulifla, laying on the ground unconscious
Y/N: No, no, NO! CABBA! CAULIFLA!
I fly down to them, neither of them moving, and that's when Cabba starts coughing.
Y/N: Cabba!
I run over to him
Cabba: H-he was... too strong... Master... Run..!
Cabba fell unconscious again. I clench my fist and turn around, not wanting to see anymore.
Y/N: W-who could've done this?!
Suddenly, something seemingly fell from the sky, something that was made of cloth. I pick it up, it was a blood-red headband, and somehow I recognized it.
Before I could question it, another explosion erupted, I quickly turn to see a muscular shadowy figure from the fire
Y/N: W-WHO ARE YOU?!
The figure looked at me, his eyes glistening before he charged at me

I gasp as I sit up. I was back in the hideout. I sigh and sit up.
Y/N: J-just a dream... But something about that felt... too real... Whatever, time to get up..
I grab my gi top, torn up. I didn't exactly want to sleep naked in a place that wasn't my own. I put the top on and sit at the edge of the bed. My thoughts went to Caulifla, the short, spitfire Saiyan punk. She was short-tempered, immature, and rather lazy, but she was beautiful and full of untapped strength. In a way, she was perfect, at least, in my eyes. I laugh to myself a little before walking out, trying to be quiet, I sneak out and quickly, I hear noises in the distance, it was Cabba and Caulifla, sparring. I fly over to see the two sparring in mid-air. Cabba blocked a series of punches from Caulifla, but she was yet to use her Super Saiyan form.
Cabba slid underneath her and hit a kick to the back of her head, sending her tumbling backward. She flipped onto her feet and powered up to Super Saiyan. Watching from a distance gave me a second to admire Caulifla, her eyes were gorgeous in the Super Saiyan form.
Caulifla: C'MON, CABBA!
Cabba rushed at Caulifla. Caulifla blocked Cabba's punches, landing a kick to her stomach. She flipped and kicked him high in the air
Caulifla: CRUSH CANNON!
The same ki blast from yesterday launched at Cabba, who barely dodged in time. He teleported behind Caulifla, but she anticipated it and kicked him again, sending him sliding back. She jumped high in the air and kicked him in the head, sending him crashing into some rocks.
Y/N: Well done!
Both stop and look at me
Caulifla: Y/N!
Y/N: You both did good, but your moves are basic and predictable, varying your attack could give you an advantage in a fight, especially you, Cabba.
Cabba sighed and nodded. I then sense something, or more accurately, someone. I turn around and see a woman hiding behind some rocks
Caulifla: KALE?! What're you doing here?!
Kale: S-sis, I'm sorry... I wanted to make sure you're okay.
Caulifla: Of course I am! Oh! Y/N, this is Kale. Kale, this is Y/N!
Y/N: Hello there.
Kale didn't respond, looking away a little
Caulifla: Don't mind her, she's always been a bit shy.
Kale took slight offense to that, based on her facial shift
Caulifla: OH! Kale! Why don't you try to become a Super Saiyan?
Kale: I-I don't know a-about that-
Y/N: Yeah! C'mon!
Kale blushed lightly, clearly not liking being put in the spotlight. She complied and got into some sort of stance and tried powering up, her power did rise, but not much before she fell to a knee. Something about her energy was strange.
Caulifla: Come on.. try again, you got this.
I could see how much Caulifla cared about Kale, It made me smile. She got back up and tried a few times to transform, each time her energy growing higher but it failed each time. It occurred to me.
Y/N: If insults and violence helped Cabba transform into a Super Saiyan... Oh, I'm gonna hate to do this.
I take a deep breath
Y/N: *groans* Waste of my time.
Caulifla: Don't say that! Kale can do it.
I shake my head
Y/N: A GOD DAMN IDIOT! THAT'S WHAT I AM FOR BUYING INTO THIS GARBAGE!
Kale: W-wait!
Y/N: I'M LEAVING! AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MY TIME!
Caulifla looked offended and pissed off, but Cabba knew what I was doing, as Caulifla went to yell at me, something changed. The wind began to blow, Kale's energy began to grow, the insults getting to her, but something was off, the normal gold Super Saiyan aura wasn't there, it was green..
Y/N: The hell!?
Caulifla: KALE?!
Her body began to grow larger, growing a foot taller and buffing up
Her aura erupted into a blinding light, something wasn't right. The light faded and there stood Kale
Y/N: Holy...
Cabba: Shit!
Kale pointed at me
Kale: Y/N! Let's go. You'll be my first blood sacrifice!
BSG POV
Y/N backed up as Kale rushed right at them. Y/N, Cabba and Caulifla had to jump in the air to avoid the explosion
Caulifla: KALE! I KNEW YOU'D PULL IT OFF!
Kale stopped in front of Y/N, an energy blast appearing from her chest, sending Y/N crashing through some more rocks
Kale: YOU'RE DEAD, Y/N!
Caulifla and Cabba got in Kale's way.
Kale: MOVE!
Kale pushed right past Caulifla and Cabba
Cabba: MASTER!
As Kale nearly reached Y/N, Cabba got in the way, taking the hit for Y/N
Y/N: CABBA!
Caulifla: What did you do?! Why is she crazy like this!?
Y/N: I told you! The main trigger for becoming a Super Saiyan is anger! I felt with the right insults, she could transform, It worked on Cabba, but this is NOT what I was expecting- AGH!
Kale bulldozed through Y/N, nearly taking his head off
Caulifla: Y/N! KALE! STOP!
Kale looked back at Caulifla, clearly, her mind was lost, she grabbed Caulifla by her neck
Caulifla: K-Kale..
Kale grew a sinister smirk before throwing Caulifla at Y/N, she crashed right on top of him
Kale: LOVE EACH OTHER, DIE ALONG SIDE EACH OTHER!!
Caulifla: W-what!?
Caulifla stood up as a powerful ki blast came right at her, she transformed into a Super Saiyan and tried pushing the blast back. She powered up but the blast kept pushing her back. She struggled as she was losing her grip, if she did, she would certainly die, or be critically injured. She powered up more and more but she kept falling back. That's when she fell, she couldn't hold on any longer and the blast hit.
Caulifla: NO! AHHHHH!!!!
The blast got sent flying right at Kale, and she barely avoided it, looking back at Caulifla, she had changed, she was a Super Saiyan 2
Kale: Huh? GRRR!!!
Y/N stood back up and got side by side with Caulifla
Y/N: If we hit her in the right spot, she should be knocked out of the transformation!
Caulifla: You got it. Alright, GO!
Y/N powered up to Super Saiyan and they both swung at Kale but she flew above them. As Kale prepared for a counterattack, Cabba grabbed her
Cabba: I GOT HER! COME ON!
Cabba somehow managed to hold her in place long enough for Caulifla and Y/N to land the punch, she gasped for air as her energy was expelled from her body. She was back to normal, Caulifla catching her before she hit the ground
Caulifla: All things aside, that was incredible.
Y/N: I guess.. but you, you're a Super Saiyan 2
Caulifla: Not bad, eh?
Y/N chuckled and nods
Caulifla: She'll be fine, she'll stay in my infirmary
Y/N: Your hideout has everything, doesn't it
She laughs
TIME SKIP
After Caulifla put Kale in the hideout infirmary, she walked back outside to Y/N using some communicator
Y/N: Yeah, Thanks Vados.
He put the communicator in his pocket
Caulifla: What was that?
Y/N: I'm headed back to my universe, I need to help recruit my team
Caulifla: O-oh...
Y/N: We'll see each other in the tournament though. There, we can go all out!
Caulifla's eyes brightened
Caulifla: You got it!
Y/N extended a hand and Caulifla met him halfway. Both smile before Vados
Vados: Alright. I'll bring you back now. But first, the full rules for the Tournament have been announced and I figure I should tell you
Cabba ran outside as well
Vados: This is a 43-minute, 80-contestant battle royal of sorts. You can only be eliminated if you are thrown off the arena. The prize is the Super Dragon Balls.
Y/N: The Super Dragon Balls were just used, weren't they?
Vados: Indeed, but they have one advantage. My father, the Grand Priest, can speed up their cooldown at will
I nod
Vados: But there is a... price for losing
Y/N: And that is?
Vados: If every member of your team is eliminated, your Universe will be erased
Y/N: E-ERASED?!
Vados: Indeed, galaxies, inhabitants, even the God of Destruction and Kais.
Y/N: I have made a terrible mistake.
Vados: Indeed. Seems you may have doomed eight different universes
Y/N: Way to cushion the blow, Vados.
Y/N walked up to Vados, prepared to leave when Caulifla finally regained herself from the announcement
Caulifla: Y/N!
Y/N looks back at Caulifla
Caulifla: I...
Caulifla sighed, her hands falling back to her sides
Caulifla: It's nothing. See you at the tournament!
Y/N smiled and turns back, putting his hand on Vados' back before setting off
