"Do you still have to go?"
"It's the best I can do after what happened. After all, you'll be in good hands. I'm going to miss you so much, so you better answer my phone calls!"
"I will and I'll make sure to call you as well, but let me know when you get there. Please."
"I promise. Now you better get going too. You still have to go to the big agency ASAP. You should never show up late on your first day!"
It wasn't long until I gave her a hug and we both broke down in tears. It's not forever, but it still hurts to not have her around for the next year or two. At the end of the day... this was inevitable.
As my Mother Rose looked up at Aizawa and smiled.
"Shōta."
"Rose."
"I'm truly blessed for having met you and grateful for all these amazing years you gave us. You don't know how thankful I am for all you've done for me and (Y/N)."
Aizawa sighed but had a smile on his face.
"It was a promise I held for my dear best friend since I started, but it now became a promise to myself to help you two in anyway I could. I'm very grateful for you and your son. You two are the most important people in my life... so I couldn't be more grateful about it all."
My mother had a tearful smile on her face as she went to hug Aizawa, who to my surprise was a bit shocked, as he returned the hug right back. I was still crying because it would now just be Aizawa and I, but...
"Nejire... Mirio... Tamaki... I want to be first one to truly thank you for all you have done and helping my son through the beginning of his first year of school."
"Ahh shucks Ms. (L/N)... I'm going to blush haha." Mirio jokingly said as he smiled brightly.
"It's the least we can do. After all, (Y/N) has been a really big and important part of our lives. It would be wrong for us to not repay it back with the same level of care." Nejire happily replied.
"Thank you Hado. Also if (Y/N) misbehaves just give me a call and I'll be sure to give him an earful as well as let Aizawa punish him heavily." My Mom said as she was smiling and winked at her.
"Geez Mom... I'm not going to do anything wrong. I promise." I sighed with a small chuckle still wiping away my tears.
Nejire was laughing as well. "I promise Mrs. (L/N). I'll make sure to give you a call if anything."
"Oh sweetie just call me Rose. No need to be so formal haha. That goes for you boys as well." As she spoke to Tamaki and Mirio. The boys nodded with a smile. My mother couldn't help but give the three a big group hug. It took them all by surprise, especially Tamaki, as they hugged her back.
I couldn't help but break down again as my Mother gave me one more final hug before she went onboard the private plane that Aizawa got for my Mom to ensure she made it safety. Thanks to All Might and Principal Nezu who assisted us in securing the plane. At least now we know she will get there safely in case of any new attacks and she will be more comfortable. "Take care everyone and do your best! I'll be back soon! I promise!" As my Mom waved goodbye and got into the plane.
We all collectively waved back as we made our way out of the runway. I was still saddened by the fact she was leaving, but that was when I felt Nejire's hand holding mine while simultaneously I felt Mirio's arm wrapping itself around my shoulder.
"It's going to be ok, (Y/N)! She will be back soon! That's when you will be better than ever!" Mirio said with a big smile.
That's when I saw Mirio also curling his arm around Tamaki and pulled him closer as he chuckled.
"We will be with you to the very end! You're never alone while we are around." Said Nejire as she cuddle up to my arm with her beautiful smile.
They were right. Ever since I met them, they have been there for me through a lot of the toughest moments. At the end of it all, I had them and Uncle Aizawa. The one Father Figure I've had for all my life. I've been so blessed to have him in my life as well. He has been the best family member I've had. As he looked at me and smiled slightly, I chuckled as I looked at my friends once more.
"Thank you guys... I am really grateful for you all. Now lets get going because today is all our first days at our new agency for our Work studies!"
"Right! Let's do this!" Mirio said as he fist bumped the air.

As I stood there in front of the incredibly tall building in front of me, I was feeling nervous. This isn't just any ordinary agency... this felt like a gigantic base of operations. I wasn't expecting to get a recruitment letter from someone like them. I didn't even think my abilities and skills would land me here. Though, I feel very honored to even be counted as a worthy candidate.
As I walked through the double doors, I saw a large desk with several people on their computers. I was just standing there and once I took a few steps forward, I heard.
"Hello there! Are you here to put a help request?" Said a young women with brown hair and glasses.
"Uh... actually I got a recruitment letter from this agency. My name is (Y/N) (L/N) and I'm a student from U.A. The one who-"
"Never heard of you."
"Eh?"
I was kind of scared and confused now. Was this some kind of prank?
"Wait... c-can I talk to the recruiter? I'm not sure if he might not have said anything yet?"
The woman's face didn't change a bit. It was like she didn't even hear a word I said.
"Sweetie... I think you might be in the wro-"
"Hana! That's the student that the Boss wanted to see personally. Didn't you read your email?" Said a black haired woman in a suit. She had gotten up and walked up behind her coworker as she realized who I was. She was a bit embarrassed as she realized that she was caught making a mistake.
"Uh... I have not, Nagisa." As she rubbed her head out of embarrassment.
"I am sorry about that, (L/N). If you want follow me, I'll take you to his office."
"Oh... uh thank you." I said as I followed her to the elevator.
"She just got here to start her shift, so she didn't see the email that was sent out about you. You must have had an impressive performance to have caught his attention."
I started getting flustered at the idea as I was remember the whole event of the Sports Festival. I didn't think I was that impressive, but I must have done something to catch his attention.
"I'm not quite sure myself, but I am very grateful to have been recognized by someone like him."
As the elevator bell rang, the doors began to open as she guided me out to a large office that had a huge open space with four large chairs and a giant chandelier hanging in the middle.
I was left in awe from the sight, but my focus came back once the lady spoke.
"Here we are, let's get going... he has been awaiting for your arrival."
As I walked forward, I was shocked to see the large man standing in front of me. He was very intimidating and his overwhelming presence as he stood in front of his desk.
"You must be (Y/N) (L/N)."
"That would be me sir."
"Glad you finally made it. I was beginning to wonder you chickened out on me."

(30 minutes earlier)
Once we reached U.A, the four of us pulled out our acceptance letters as we were about to announce what agency we accepted before heading our separate ways. The first one of us four to speak up was Nejire.
"Alrighty! Since now we are here to talk about our agencies that we will have our work studies at, I'd like to be the first to say mine!"
We were all excited to hear what she was going to say.
"I decided to work with the Dragon Hero: Ryukyu at her agency! She wanted to take me in due to my incredible tenacity and determination for battling in the Sports festival. Plus she also enjoyed my bubbly personality." As she chuckled adorably.
I was sorta shocked when I heard she was going to head there, but I was proud of her.
"Whoa! The Dragon Hero Ryukyu invited you to join her agency?!" Mirio remarked incredibly shocked.
"Yeah! It's going to be so awesome to work with her! Who did you guys get?" Nejire asked as her curiosity peaked.
The next person to speak up was Mirio.
"I chose Sir Nighteye's Agency!"
We were all collectively confused for a moment, but before we could say anything, Aizawa spoke up.
"Sir. Nighteye was one of All Might's sidekicks who worked together back in the days."
When I heard that, my mouth dropped.
"One of All Might's sidekick recruited you?! That's so awesome!"
"I was kind of confused as well, but when I had asked Aizawa Sensei about him, he recommended me to join since he is super smart and saw so much potential in me that he wanted to help me."
I looked at Aizawa as he nodded. Though he immediately turned the focus onto Tamaki.
"Amajiki. Who did you sign up with?"
Tamaki was a bit embarrassed to be put in the spotlight, but he calmly took a small breath.
"FatGum. He said he liked my bravery in the tournament and wanted to help me with my quirk as he sees a lot of potential in my abilities."
Nejire and I get cheerful of hearing that. "You got that right! Your quirk is super cool! I can't wait to see you use it to the fullest!" I said happily as I put my hand onto his shoulder. Tamaki chuckled as he blushed from the compliment. "T-thanks, (Y/N)."
Mirio also chimed in as he said. "Remember SunEater... about the advice we talked about back in middle school." Thats when Tamaki smiled as he nodded.
"Well now the last person on here is (Y/N). The one we are all waiting for." Aizawa said as he already knew who it was.
"Oh yeah! Who did you join (Y/N)?"
"Yeah! Who was the Agency who wanted to recruit you?"
Everyone was curious, especially Nejire and Mirio.
"Well... the agency I accepted was..."
(Present time)
"Welcome to the Endeavor Agency, (Y/N) (L/N). I hope you are ready to be working under one of the highest ranked heroes in Japan!"
"Thank you for the opportunity Mr. Endeavor sir!I'm really honored to be working under you!" I was excited but nervous. Because I was in the presence of the Number 2 hero in all of Japan. I was shocked when I read the letter, but there was no way I would ever pass up this opportunity of a lifetime!
"Don't get all giddy with me. If I brought you in here, I'm going to push you past your limits to make sure you grow here. I don't train weaklings with no potential or hopes for a future in the pro hero world. It wasn't the sports festival performance that made me want to recruit you here. I wouldn't even have considered you if it was off just that alone." Endeavor said with a serious tone of voice.
"That was kinda harsh." I said feeling the pain of his comment about my Sport Festival debut.
"However... the day of the attack with those monsters, I saw a video of you holding off the beast at the airport with the assistance from Hawks. Normally when a pro hero is on sight, one would stand down and let them take care of it. Yet you still ran in and worked with Hawks to fight the beast. I was surprised to see someone hold that kind of drive to still fight. Despite the danger, I noticed you were focused on keeping the monster away from the citizens. That isn't something one is focused on at first... which impressed me." As Endeavor put the file down with all of my information, he crossed his arms.
"Not only that, but you and Hawks came back to the city and took on some more of the monsters, including one that you took down with a single punch from the air."
Before I could say anything, what he followed up with caught me off guard.
"You've been training under the Pro Hero Eraserhead haven't you? He isn't listed here on your U.A papers to be a pro hero that worked with you... yet... you have been living with him since you came to Japan at the age of 7 with your Mother. Who just happened to leave today back to the US due to a family emergency."
I was shocked... I was not even sure how the heck he knew that about me. That was more confidential information to protect both Aizawa and I from any issues. How the hell did he manage to get that information?!
"Y-yes sir." I said as I responded but I was shaking a bit at how he was able to gather all this.
"You can relax, (L/N). I'm one of the highest ranked heroes in all of Japan, gathering information like this with the team that I have is not as hard as one would think. Though, being raised in the household of a Pro hero must have been quite the experience for you. Even I would have been honored to have such an opportunity." As Endeavor grabbed my file once more and read the information on my quirk.
"Retaliation. A quirk that gives you an increase in all physical abilities such as strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, endurance, and much more once the user receives damage to himself. Heh... so you have to be dealt damage in order to get stronger? Sounds more like a liability than an advantage... yet somehow... you recovered from all the injuries you dealt to yourself in the first semester of UA. You damaged your arms, your legs, your abdomen and even your head... countless times. Yet for some reason, about 80% of all those internal and external injuries were well recovered... even to the point that Recovery Girl was left speechless."
"W-wait... Mr. Endeavor are you talking about-"
"Precisely... the hidden healing factor of your quirk. You only came to realizing that the boosted energy that surges from your body can be used to recover yourself. However, the energy that would be used to boost all your abilities will all be focused on just healing you. You didn't even realize that you managed to heal yourself naturally because the instances you were passed out or went unconscious, you still had energy stored up. Your body naturally used it to heal itself... just like how your Red blood cells help create collagen to help heal the cuts and damages to your skin. Your healing factor is used to recover all the damages you deal to yourself or that was dealt to you during the use. That is how you still even alive till this very day."
"W-what."
"If you haven't realized it by now, then today is the time you come to noticed your true potential. With me, I'm going to make sure you unlock that and push it beyond the limits. You will be under my work... and I'm going to make sure your improvements are shown. This isn't my invitation to practice your work studies... on this very day... I am officially enlisting you to be apart my agency. Do you accept? It would be a mistake to pass up on this opportunity."
With all he has said to me, it's clear that he knows more about me that what my other agency must know, especially with all the connections he must have. That means he really knows any and all possible ways to help me improve and grow the potential of my quirk. Even maybe help me with how to use it in many ways I didn't even know I could. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity... there's no way I can refuse his offer.
"I accept your offer!" I said boldly with a smile on my face.
"Then it's settled. Now... let's get you started. Get in your hero costume, and we are going on your first patrol mission." Endeavor said as he marched to the elevator.
"Don't make me regret taking you in." He said coldly before entering the elevator waiting for me.
"I won't Mr. Endeavor sir!" As I ran into the elevator with him.
I couldn't believe it. It was really happening! My first official mission at an Agency. The Endeavor Agency at that! This was my big chance to prove myself! Prove to everyone that I got what it takes!
"Are you ready, (Y/N)?" Endeavor asked as he was waiting in front of the building.
"Yes sir!"
