CABBA, Y/N'S NEW STUDENT
I watched as Cabba hopped down to the ring, landing with surprising grace.
Y/N: A Saiyan vs a Half-Saiyan. Quite the turn of events
Cabba: Indeed
Cabba bowed his head
Cabba: I look forward to fighting you
I was caught off guard by politeness. I smiled a bit before getting into a fighting stance, Cabba getting into his own familiar fighting stance
Y/N: OH-HO-HO! I've seen that stance before!
Vegeta from the stands chuckled a bit.
Ref: YOU MAY BEGIN!
Cabba charged at me, I was slightly shocked by his speed and footwork, I block his flurry of punches before he suddenly stopped, going for a spinning kick that I barely dodged. I flip backward and charge right back at him, I swing at him but he ducked it, punching me in the stomach sent me back a bit. He goes for another but I grab his fist
Y/N: PACE YOURSELF!
I throw his arm back and flip, kicking him in the face, he slid back, falling to one knee, panting for air
Y/N: FINISHED ALREADY?!
Cabba looked almost insulted, he stood back up and charged up
Y/N: A GALICK GUN?!
Cabba: GALICK CANNON! FIRE!!
I barely had time to block it, but with a Kamehameha, I manage to stop the blast in it's tracks
Goku: Wow! That brings back some memories, right Vegeta?
Vegeta scoffed
Y/N: NOT BAD! AT THIS RATE, THIS FIGHT WON'T END SOON!
Both of us stop our blasts
Y/N: Why don't we take this battle to the next level?
Cabba: What?
I power up to Super Saiyan
Cabba: W-wow!
Y/N: What're you waiting for, kid? A written invitation!
Cabba: I-I'm sorry... I can't do that!
I was shocked
Y/N: You're telling me you can't even turn Super Saiyan?
Cabba: No.. please, sir. Teach me how to be strong like you.
My eyes widened, this kid was asking me to teach him, in the middle of a tournament?! Part of me wanted to, but the other half thought it was strange. Suddenly, I felt something pierce my mind once again. The voice I heard before returned, but it was much clearer this time. The voice was that of an adult man, it was strangely familiar.
"THIS IS THE POWER OF THE SAIYAN RACE!"
I was beyond confused, but the words spoken gave me an idea, not a very good one, but an idea. I clench my fist, channeling my inner Vegeta
Y/N: You ask me.. in a tournament, to teach you
Cabba's face filled with guilt.
Y/N: Pathetic... a disgrace like you, YOU CALL YOURSELF A SAIYAN!?
I rush right at him, landing a vicious punch to his stomach and one to the face. I teleport behind him and punch him in the back of the head, I kick him high in the air
Y/N: I am not done with you yet!
Chi-Chi and Goten looked on in horror at what Y/N was doing
Chi-Chi: Y/N! What is happening to my boy?!
I smirk and kick Cabba back up into the air
Y/N: DUE TO YOUR EXTREMELY LIMITED ABILITIES I AM SURPRISED THEY LET YOU EVEN COMPETE!
Goten: BRO! WHAT'RE YOU DOING TO HIM?!
I kick him up in the air again
Piccolo: He wouldn't!
Goku was stunned silent, but Vegeta smirked, he seemed to know what I was doing.
Beerus: I hope Y/N hasn't forgotten if you kill your opponent you forfeit the match.
Whis: I think something else is going on
I kick him in the air for a third and fourth time
Cabba: I-I... give up-
I catch him out of the air, holding him up by the collar of his shirt
Y/N: If you DARE give up, I will kill you!
Cabba: B-but the rules...
I grunt and slam his head to the ground. I get on top of him and unleash a flurry of punches, blood beginning to fly as the punches became more frequent. After a good thirty seconds, I stop. I sigh, looking at the blood-covered face of the Saiyan and the blood that dripped from my fists.
Y/N: Ugh... WHY DID YOU MAKE ME DO THIS!? YOU ASK ME TO TEACH YOU, IN THE MIDDLE OF A TOURNAMENT, TO TEACH YOU?! THINK, CABBA! YOU'RE A DISGRACE, A WASTE OF OXYGEN, AND A WASTE OF MY TIME! I'M ENDING THIS NOW!
I had to push it further to push Cabba over the edge
Y/N: But first... I'd like you to know, once this tournament is over, I'll go to your Universe 6 and blow up your precious Planet Sadala, but before that, I'll track down each and everyone you care about, one by one. I'll kill them all! And trust me, for them, it won't be quick!
Despite his injuries, Cabba got up, punching me hard in the face, his eyes glowing brightly
Cabba: THE PEOPLE OF SADALA! THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS! IF YOU HURT MY FAMILY OR ANYONE ON SADALA! I'LL... I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!
Cabba let out a mighty scream, his hair turning gold, transforming into a Super Saiyan for the first time.
Y/N: *chuckles* Perfect.
I smirk and Cabba charges me in anger
Cabba: YOU BASTARD!
He punches me in the gut and I go sliding back some and then he throws a whole bunch of rapid-fire punches which I somehow block, smoke coming from the punches
Goku: Wow!
Piccolo: Y/N is giving up ground
I smack Cabba's hands away and I trip him but he kicks me in the back and up in the air.
Y/N: *gasp*
He teleports behind me and slams me to the ground, followed by the traditional Vegeta ki spam which I manage to block. I smirk and laugh. I swipe the blasts away and he lands back on the ground, charging in for the final blow
Cabba: TAKE THIS, YOU BASTARD!
I decide now is the time to calm the situation down.
Y/N: Alright, settle down. That will do
Cabba: w-what?
Cabba stops in place, powering down to his base state
Cabba: Y-you mean..?
Y/N: Yes, everything I said and did was just to get you to transform, though I-
I look at my fists, still covered in Cabba's blood
Y/N: -may have gone a bit too far.
Cabba quickly nodded in agreement
Y/N: Don't forget the sensation you just had! The best trigger for the transformation is anger so hold on to that feeling you just had
Cabba: A-alright!
Y/N: Now transform again
Cabba: Oh... Uhh...
I took a deep breath, having to enter "Teacher Mode" once again.
Y/N: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR I SAID TURN! DON'T MAKE ME SAY IT AGAIN!
Cabba: A-alright!
Cabba takes up a stance and yells, successfully transforming once again.
Y/N: Whoa! You are a quick learner
Cabba: S-so, the reason you said all of that was to help me transform?!
I smile and nod, and everyone in the audience sighs in relief
Goten: So that is was Y/N was up to!
Chi-Chi: Aww! Seems Y/N found himself a friend!
Beerus: So that entire time Y/N was training him?
Whis: Appears so, my lord.
Beerus and Champa: What a waste.
Beerus and Champa both growl at each other
Y/N: AHHH!!!
Cabba: W-WHOA!
A fiery aura surrounded me, my hair turning red as I become a Super Saiyan God
Cabba: W-wow! You hair! It's red!
Y/N: This power was bestowed upon me by Lord Beerus, or, more accurately, was bestowed upon me by the Saiyans to fight Lord Beerus.
Cabba: Y-YOU FOUGHT YOUR DESTROYER?!
Champa: WHAT?! IS THAT TRUE, BEERUS?!
Beerus: Yes. Y/N and I fought once before, he gave me one of the best fights of my life.
Vados: My, my. A mortal who could stand up to a God of Destruction. Very intriguing indeed.
Y/N: With that fight, I began to push past my limits and even further beyond, keep training and you too may become a Super Saiyan God.
Cabba: You're saying... that could be me?! GAH!
I lunge forward, punching him in the stomach hard enough to knock him out
Y/N: Remember this pain, and let it activate you
Cabba slowly collapsed at my feet. The Ref ran over to Cabba
Ref: Cabba is out cold!! Contestant Y/N is the winner!
I smile down at Cabba before I turn around and fly back up to the spectator seats.
Y/N: I need some water, or... actually two.
Whis summons up some water and I grab it out of the air
Goku: For a second there I thought you went bad on us there, son!
Y/N: Did you really think I of all people, would turn against you guys?
Father laughs nervously as Piccolo simply shakes his head
Y/N: I figured I should take a page out of Vegeta's book, guess it worked out in the end.
Vegeta laughed lightly
Vegeta: He almost reminds me of his grandfather...
Y/N: Cabba had the potential, I knew he did, he just needed that push, and if it took acting like a traditional Universe 7 Saiyan, so be it.
I pour the first canister of water on my hands to clean the blood off my fists, then I fly down with the second. I walk over to Cabba, who lies unconscious. I splash the water onto his face, waking him up and cleaning the blood off him. Cabba sat up, coughing violently before realizing I was standing in front of him
Cabba: Oh! Y/N, sir! T-thank you sincerely
I get on one knee and smack the canister on the ground making him stand at attention
Y/N: There was a moment in the match you gave up, forfeit is a bigger loss than defeat! I won't accept that behavior from a Saiyan!
Cabba: I'm sorry.
Y/N: Never forget what you are dammit! Where is your Saiyan Pride?!
Cabba: Saiyan Pride? What is that?
Y/N: It means strength.
Cabba: O-oh! Then I will train hard and get stronger!
I smack the canister on the ground again, causing him to stand at attention again
Cabba: N-not to presume...
Y/N: Set your sights higher! Pushing past limits is what Saiyans do! You have to push past yours!
Tears form in Cabba's eyes
Cabba: YOU GOT IT!
I smile
Y/N: Not that I would ever let you surpass me
Cabba: Of course!
Y/N: Perhaps, after this tournament, Vados could bring me back to your universe. I'd love to see what the Saiyans of Universe 6 are like.
Cabba: O-of course, Master!
Y/N: Master?
Cabba's face turned slightly red
Cabba: O-oh, I'm sorry. I-it just seemed right to say, s-since you taught me so much
I smile at Cabba's embarrassment
Y/N: Master Y/N.. I like it.
Cabba smiles brighter than before. I turn around and began to walk away
Cabba: You know, King Sadala, he is a powerful man, like you! You sort of remind me of him!
I stopped and looked back at Cabba
Y/N: Is that so? Sorry, but I'm no royalty. But see Vegeta up there?
I point up to Vegeta, who looked on with a smirk.
Cabba: Y-yeah?
Y/N: In our universe, he's the Saiyan Prince
Cabba: Prince?!
Y/N: Indeed. He's royalty, so meeting King Sadala would be more of his thing. But... maybe I should pay him a visit myself someday.
Cabba: Of course!
Cabba smiles one more time before he flies back up to the stands, taking a seat next to Vados
Ref: Next up is the last competitor of Universe 6. The Notorious Assassin! HIT!
Hit, in one smooth motion, got up, jumped high in the air, and landed down in the ring in a superhero landing pose
Y/N: Wow...
The feel in the air changed, a shiver ran up my spine
"While your eyes can not perceive Hit's movements, he is indeed moving, skipping forward in time, landing the blows in rapid succession, so when he returned from that time, the blows have been landed before the opponent can react."
Y/N: How do I beat a guy who can hit me before I even know I've been hit?!
I thought long and hard, coming up with some sort of plan
Y/N: Alright then.
Hit stood up, not saying a single word
