Aaron's POV
"Don't be late !" My mom called out as I descended the stairs.
"I will try." I replied as I exited my home and jogged towards my car.
I quickly started the engine and drove to the place I was supposed to meet my friends half an hour ago. I frowned as I looked at the pub which was filled with people, most of whom I recognized from my classes.
This is going to be a long night.
"Hey Luca." Chris, a friend of mine called out from near the dance floor.
"Hey bud." I replied as he walked towards me.
"Where have you been all these days ?" He questioned with curiosity.
"Out of town." I replied bored.
Before he could bombard me with more questions, I quickly excused myself and headed towards my friends who were sitting near the bar counter.
"Look who showed up." Zac said way too loudly indicating that he was drunk already.
"Aaron." Armando said giving me a bro hug.
"Hey Rossi, how have u been? Missed me?" I asked after pulling away.
"No way, I was living my best life." He replied smirking.
"Where have you been ?" Charles asking handing me a glass of wine.
"Out of town. Dad's business." I replied desperate to change the topic.
My dad would usually send me to different towns for business meetings and other works. I didn't have a good bond with him since childhood, so the only reason I would agree was because I didn't want to hurt my mom. She was a gem.
To say that I had daddy issues would be an understatement.
The business trips would last almost a month and I would be bored out of my mind always.
But this time, the trip to town wasn't so bad as I met someone special.
Anna.
"Why are you smiling? Don't you hate your daddy now?" Zac asked confused.
I smacked his arm and replied, "I do hate my dad, he is not the reason I'm smiling."
"Then what is it ?" Armando asked taking a seat beside me.
If it was someone else, I would have lied. But Rossi was my bestfriend.
"I met someone." I replied thinking about her.
"A girl ?" He asked smirking.
"Yeah, a girl. Anna." I answered.
"And ?" He questioned.
"And I think I'm in love." I said earning a few gasps.
"Freaking moly, you fell in love so soon?" Charles asked shocked. He has been looking for his soulmate but unfortunately no girl was good enough for that.
"And she lives in another town, long distance won't work." Zac said concerned.
"No, she is moving to this town the coming week." I answered.
"For you ?" Armando asked.
"Ofcourse not, she already had plans to join our uni. Apparently she was living here, but then had to move out due to some issues. Now she is coming back with her family." I explained for which they all nodded.
"Is she hot?" Zac asked refilling my glass.
"Extremely." I answered.
"Aww !!" Charles cooed for which the others laughed.

"Yeah I'm on my way mom." I said and hung up on her.
"What's wrong ?" Armando asked with unsteady steps, drunk out of his mind.
"Need to go home." I answered walking out of the pub with him.
Charles and Zac were probably getting laid somewhere as they left with some chicks sometime ago.
I would have done the same had I not met Anna, but now I don't want to think about anyone else.
But Rossi, he rarely sleeps with any girl. As far as I know, he still loves his ex and is not able to move on from her. We know nothing about her as he always avoids the topic.
"I will drop you home." I said pulling him towards my car.
"Fine." He groaned and sat down on the passenger seat.
After dropping him home, I reached the restaurant where we were having a family dinner. It was a monthly tradition and was the only time I would meet my dad. He usually stays in his penthouse due to alot of work.
"Welcome Mr.De'Luca, your family is waiting for you." A man said letting me in.
Shit , my dad is already here. That means..
"You are 10 mins late Aaron." My dad said giving me a look.
"Umm... traffic." I answered sitting beside my mom and giving her a nod.
"If you always keep up this attitude, you will never reach anywhere. Just like your mom." My dad said rolling his eyes.
"What did mom do now ?!?" I asked angrily.
He always puts the blame on my mom.
"Look at how she has raised you ! What worse could she do ?" My dad replied with venom in his voice.
Before I could reply, Hunter said, "I'm hungry, can we eat ?"
He was just 10 and innocent.
"Pathetic table manners." My dad muttered and started eating.
The whole dinner went by with not a word spoken by anyone. After food, my dad left for his penthouse and we returned back home.
"I'm sorry." My mom said once Hunter was in his room.
"Why ?" I asked confused.
"I should have left your dad long ago, he is ruining your life and also that of Hunter's. But I was financially unstable so I decided to stay." She said with tears.
"Mom, its fine. We will leave this place soon. I promise." I assured giving her a hug.
After a while we left for our rooms since it was already late.

The next day I stayed in my room with my xbox not in mood to go out. After lunch I decided to take a nap when I got a call from Anna.
"Hey" she said in a sweet voice.
"Anna" I replied.
"How are you" she asked.
"I'm umm great ?" I said not really knowing how to answer.
She giggled and said, "I was planning to visit London tomorrow."
I sat up straight and asked, "You are coming here ?"
"Yeah. I had to submit my application." She answered.
"Woah that's cool. I will pick you up." I said.
"No, its fine. I will drive. You need to attend your classes. We can grab coffee later ?" She suggested.
"Yeah sure, lets have lunch together. I will drop you home later on." I agreed.
"Okay, see you tomorrow." She said before hanging up.
I sighed and laid down on the bed. I missed her already, can't wait to meet her tomorrow.

Waking up I dressed myself in a cool hoodie and some jeans with my favorite cologne. I reached my uni in a happy mood whistling to myself but it got ruined when I saw Rossi having an argument with a guy of our class in the cafeteria.
"What's wrong ?" I asked walking towards them.
"Just some issues." Rossi said looking away from me.
"You okay ?" I asked turning him towards me. He had his jaw clenched and palms in a fist indicating his bad temper.
"I swear it was her." The other guy said who was previously arguing with Armando.
"AND I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DONT SHUT THE FUCK UP, THEN I WILL BURY YOU ALIVE." Rossi yelled for which the whole cafeteria got pin drop silent.
"Zac, take this guy out. And warn him to stay the fuck away from us." I ordered Zac panicked. Rossi losing his temper was rare but damn dangerous.
Zac quickly grabbed that guy and left the place.
"What was that ?" I asked Armando for which he just ignored me and started walking away.
"Armando what the fuck was that ?!? " I asked grabbing his hand.
"THAT is none of your business, stay away." He said pulling his hand away from my hold.
"Fine, if that's what you want." I said and walked out of the cafeteria heading towards the airport in my car.
Rossi never hides anything from me, so this must be something personal to him. I know that I need to understand him but at this moment I just want to know what's bothering him and help him out.
Fuck, I will just give him some time. I hope he shares his problem soon.
Reaching the airport I checked the flight timings for Anna's arrival. According to the details, she will be here in half an hour. So I took a seat and fished out my phone to listen to some songs.
After some time I spotted her walking out of the gate looking at pretty as ever in a denim dungree, white tee and her hairs in a messy bun.
