It was homecoming day, everyone was excited, they couldn't stop talking about it. Sam had asked out Maria like he planned, Bucky asked Wanda and Steve asked Natasha. They all said yes and they agreed to meet up at Maria's house. Once the boy's got to Maria's house and knocked on the door, a taller man with an eye patch came to the door.
"You must be the girl's date's" the man said
It wasn't a question but more of a statement
"Yes we are" Sam replied
"I'm Nick. But people call me Fury, I'm Maria's father" he paused for a moment "where are my manners come on in" he said as he motioned for us to come inside
"Girl's their here" Fury yelled from the bottom of the steps
"We're coming" the voice of Steve's sister shouted
Wanda was the first one to come down she was wearing a green spaghetti strap dress. Behind her was Maria who wore a red off the shoulder dress. But Steve's eyes were instantly glued to Natasha as she walked out, she was wearing a black spaghetti strap dress, that hugged her at the top and flowed at the waist, she looked breath taking as always.

"You look beautiful" Steve complemented as Natasha walked up to him
"You don't look to bad yourself" she replied with a smirk making the blonde smirk
They all then got into Steve's car and drove to the school, once there Tony walked up to them.
"Going out with a bunch of sox's I see" Tony said in disgust
"What makes us so different Tony, other than our parents income" Natasha asked
Clearly Tony was a little taken a back by his sister's question because it took him a moment to answer "that's just the way it is"
Natasha rolled her eyes and let out a huff "come on guys let's go" she said as she locked her and Steve's arm's together
"Hey Tasha" Clint greeted as he gave her a hug
Steve didn't know why but when he hugged her he could feel the jealousy pump through his veins. Natasha then turned around to face Steve with a smile on her face.
"Steve this is Clint, Clint this is Steve" she introduced
"Nice to meet you" Clint said as he held out his hand for a handshake
"You too" Steve said as he shook his hand
Clint then pulled Steve closer and whispered into his ear "you hurt her...I'll put an arrow in you" when he pulled away he gave Steve a smirk and walked off
Steve turned to face Natasha "I don't think he likes me"
Natasha chuckled "he doesn't like most people. Don't take it personally"
"Do you want to dance" Steve asked as a slow song came on
"I would love to" she replied taking his hand in her's
As they got on to the dance floor she put her arm's around Steve's neck and he put his on her waist. There was silence for a moment, a comfortable silence, till stupid Steve broke it.
"How long have you known Clint" he asked trying not to sound nosy
"Jealous Rogers" she asked with a smirk
"No" he lied
He was in fact jealous
"Longer than anyone on the planet" she replied
Steve looked at her confused
"It's a long story" was all she said before resting her head on his chest
They once again fell into a comfortable silence as they danced with the music till a guy came up and tapped Steve's shoulder. Steve looked over his shoulder and saw Tony behind him.
"May I have a dance with my sister" he asked
Steve looked at Natasha who gave him a reassuring nod. Steve nodded and Tony took her hand as they began to dance.
"What was that about" Sam asked Steve as he walked back to their table
"I don't know Tony asked for a dance with his sister...what was I supposed to say" Steve replied with a shrug
"NO" Bucky interrupted "you we're supposed to say no"
"So, never expected you to date a sox" Tony said as him and Natasha started to dance
"Never expected you to be a coward" she shot back "it's not about money, it's about-"
"Love" he interrupted
Natasha rolled her eyes "no, friendship...when you care more about them more than the money that their parents make"
Tony rolled his eyes "what like Clint"
"Don't bring him into this" she said in a threatening tone
"He's just using you and you know it" he said
"Your impossible" she said as she pushed him away and walked outside full of anger
Natasha walked over to Steve's car, pulling out a cigarette and lighter, lighting the cigarette and starting to smoke when she heard the familiar voice of her date "Natasha" Steve called out.
Natasha looked up to look at him
"What happened" he asked concerned
If you know Natasha you know that you can mess with her all you want but the second you bring Clint into it, it's game over.
"Nothing" she replied as she took another puff of her cigarette
Steve gave her a knowing look "Natasha"
"He brought up Clint, that's all" she said nonchalantly
Steve scoffed "of course" he muttered almost unheard by the red heads ears
"Of course, what" she asked with a cocked eyebrow
"It's about Clint...is there something going on between you two" he asked a little bit of anger laced in his tone
Natasha's eyes flamed with anger. 'he just accused me of dating someone when I went out with him' she thought in anger.
"Your such a jerk" she said as she threw her cigarette down stepping on it with her heel and walking away with tears threatening to spill and then she ran over to Clint hugging him
"What's wrong" he asked softly with concern
"I just need you" she replied not breaking the comfortable embrace that they were in
As Steve walked back in to apologize to Natasha he came across a sight that made his blood boil. Natasha was hugging Clint in the corner of the room, the only way you would see them is if you were looking for them. Steve walked over to his table where everyone but Natasha sat.
"Where's Natasha" Wanda asked curiously
Steve then point over to her and Clint
"Dork's" Maria said with a small smile and a light chuckle
They all looked at her confused
"Are they together" Steve asked with jealousy apparent in his tone
Maria chuckled "what no, of course not" she replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world
"And how can you be so sure" Bucky asked
Maria looked over at them and gave them a serious look "if I tell you, you have to promise not to tell anyone"
They all looked more confused then ever at this point
"We promise, right guys" Sam said
They all nod in agreement
"Clint is Natasha's older brother" Maria stated
Bucky chuckled "that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, that would mean-"
"She's a sox" Steve interrupted
Maria nodded "she was adopted into wealth remember"
"I'm an idiot" Steve muttered to himself "I'll be back" he said as he got up from his chair and walked up to Natasha and Clint
"Can we talk" he asked her
Clint's fist balled up and it looked as if he was gonna punch Steve "there's nothing for you two to talk about" he stated
Natasha put a reassuring hand on his chest "it's okay...I got this" she said in a soft tone
You could tell that the anger was fading away from Clint as she spoke to him.
"If you need me I'll be here" he stated looking at her, he than turned his attention to Steve and gave him a death glare that made the blonde gulp
"I'm sorry" Steve told her as they walked outside
Natasha looked at Steve and gave him a half smile "it's okay...I just get really defensive when it comes to Clint...he's my best friend, I don't know what I'd do without him"
Steve gave her a knowing look and a half smile. As he looked at her he couldn't help himself. With the way the moon was shining on her hair the way her eyes glimmered. Steve took her hand in his pulling her closer to him their lips only inches apart. Steve could feel her warm breath against his lips and without a second thought he cupped her face and slammed his lips on hers kissing her softly. Natasha was shocked for a second but eventually she kissed him back.
