Nandini was cooking in the kitchen, she was lost in deep thoughts about manik and whatever Ahana revealed to her. She could not imagine what he went through and this whole she was judging him. Nandini didn't realise but her hands were near the flame and she wasn't realising as she was in her thoughts.
Manik comes back home, he heads to the kitchen to drink water as he sees Nandini just staring in to a space. As he was about to go to the fridge without talking to her he notices her hands near the flame, manik quickly rushes to her.
"Nandinii" he shouts and pulls her hands away, she looks up at him startled.
"H-huh?" She blinks her eyes multiple times
"What the hell are you doing, tumara haath jal sakta tha" he looks at her hand and turns it around checking it.
"I'm fine" Nandini tells him, manik moves his hand away
"Okay uhm good" manik looks at her, he was about to walk off but Nandini stops him
"Maine Ahana ke liye khana banaya hai, agar Tum le jao she will feel good" Nandini sighs hoping he would agree to it
"I don't think she will like it" manik says
"How do you know? Give it try" Nandini turns around and takes the food out in plate and hands it to manik, he looks at Nandini thinking it's a bad idea
"Go" Nandini looks at him with sharp eyes, manik takes the plate and goes to ahana's room. Nandini smiles and hopes both of them can retrieve their relationship again.
Manik knocks on ahana's door before walking in, she was on her phone. She immediately sits up on her bed properly seeing him, this was the first time she was seeing him after the chaos that was caused yesterday
Manik sits next to her on the bed "how you doing now?"
Ahana was surprised hearing that he asked her that and it was the first time. "I-I am fine"
"Have this, Nandini made it for you" Manik hands her the plate, ahana takes it.
"Ahana I just need you to know, mein tumse koi nafrat nahi karta hu I'm doing all this to make sure you don't go through what I went through" manik looks at her, ahana looks down
"I really love rehaan, he loves me. Lekin aapne usse dhamki di thats why he left. He wants to have our baby he wants to be with me he wants to have a future with me" Ahana vents
"How do you know that Ahana, he could be lying"
"I can see the love for me in his eyes, uske aakhon mein dikhta hai sab bure nahi hote manik. Aapko Pata hai he saved me from some guys without thinking about his safety, jab jab mein bimar hoti hu he takes care of me Meri choti baaton ka dhyaan rakha hai agar Yeh Pyaar nahi hai toh Kya hai?"Ahana looks at him, manik remembers his moments with Nandini how he had the urge to keep her safe no matter what, him saving her from those 2 guys and also being worried when she fainted
"Hmm, eat your food" manik stand up
"Manik" Ahana holds his hand "you will find rehaan for me yeah?"
Manik turns around and looks at her "khana pura khatam karna" Manik avoids the question and leaves from there closing the door behind, ahana cries looking down.
Manik goes to Nandini was in the room just sitting.
"Aren't you going to get ready?" Manik asks her
"Kis liye?" Nandini looks up at him
"Don't you want to join back in your hospital" Manik says as Nandini's face lights up
"What?! You are letting me work again!" Nandini stands up with excitement
"Yes"
"Lekin kaise? Pehle toh jaise jaane hi nahi dete the and you even locked me phir Kaise" Nandini asks him
"Tumhe hospital jaane se matlab hai na? Yeh aage peeche ka mat socha karo aur jaldi karo before I change I mind" manik says
"Mein bhi kisse pooch rahi hu isse ulta hi jawab dena hai" Nandini mumbles under her breath
"Kuch kaha tumne?" Manik raises her eyebrows at her
"No not at all, I'll just get ready" she rushes to find her clothes.
Nandini quickly gets ready and comes out, she looks at manik who looks at her and then signs her to follow him. He told he was going to drop her and go straight to his work, and also told her karan will look after Ahana for a while until they find someone while Nandini is at work.
Nandini sits in his car and fixing her hair, manik sits in the drivers seat and he drives off to her hospital.
Nandini looks at him biting her lips 'maybe this is the right time to ask him'
Manik looks at her as she finds her staring at him for the longest "what? Aise ghur Kyu rahi ho"
"Uhm can I ask you something?" She looks at him
"Boli kyunki bole bina Tum reh nahi paongi" manik rolls his eyes
"You went to jail jab Tum uhm 12 saal ke the?" Nandini says, manik hits the brakes hard hearing her question which makes Nandini almost hit the little space in front of her.
Manik looks at her angry "excuse me?"
"I-im just asking— Ahana told me that you were in jail aur phir Tumne army join ki thi aur—"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Manik shouts as he bangs his hand howon the steering wheel causing Nandini to jump in her seats with a scared look.
Manik gets out of the car and goes over to nandini's side, he opens the door in anger and pulls her out. Both of them were near the beach, the wind was blowing hard making all of Nandini's hair fly in to her face.
" who are you ask Ahana about my life!" Manik looks at her
"I wanted to know manik! Ki aisa Kya hai jo Tum aapne aap ko aisa dikhate ho duniya ke saamne ki Tum bohot rude ho insensitive ho but Tum andar se aise nahi ho then why!" Nandini moves her hair from her face
"Did I ask you to bloody do this research on me huh! Tumne aapne Kaam se kaam Kyu nahi rakh sakti, mein jaisa hu bahar se andar se that's none of your concern" manik grits his teeth
"It is my concern!" Nandini speaks up "it is my concern because no matter how much I fight or deny it Tum Ab mere zindagi ka ek hissa ho jo chahkar bhi mein tumhe nahi hata sakti" manik looks at her as his anger starts to fade away
Manik bangs his hand on the car near Nandini's ears trying to control his anger he puts his hand on his face sliding it down.
"Stop looking in to my life Nandini it's too messy! Tum kyu apni acchi si life ko painful ban na chahti ho" manik says with tears almost forming in his eyes thinking about it
"I want to help you manik, mujhe tumari madad karni hai to forget all this so Tum apni zindagi mein aage bad sako, maine toh Bas ek hi baat seekhi hai ki aapka past aapki present ko nahi effect karna chahiye" Nandini says
"You don't fucking know what I have been through so tumari liye bohot hi asaan hai Yeh sab bolna" manik spats
"Tu mujhe batao Haan shayad kabhi mein mehsoos na kar pau what you have been through Lekin understand karna chahti hu manik"
"Kyunki Manik Tum kitna bhi chupa lo Tum mein Woh acchai hai, you are a good man a good brother a good friend Lekin bas Tum express nahi kar paate, aur past mein galati kisse nahi hui hai mujhse bhi hui hai but that does not mean we start portraying ourselves as a bad person why don't you understand Yeh sab sirf tumhe takleef pocha rahe ho"
"ENOUGH!" Manik shouts at her, Nandini closes her eyes.
"Tum kudh ko samajhti Kya ho, just because I fucking kissed you or thmse thodi acchi tarah se baat karli you are going to decide how my life is how the fuck I am" manik looks at her, Nandini looks down
"No manik it's not because we kissed or anything, I just want you to—"
"I don't want to hear it, mere kareeb aane ki koshish mat karo Nandini stay away from me" manik looks at her with sharp eyes
"Do you mean that?" Tears form in Nandini's eyes
Manik looks away hesitating a little bit "yes" he manages to answer with confidence
"Fine" Nandini gulps "keep it like that, aur agar tumko lagta hai I'm trying to get close to you because of our kiss Toh phir aaj se you will not touch me or kiss me. Infect don't ever kiss a women you don't love" Nandini turns around and sits in the car.
Manik looks away in frustration, he goes to his seat and sits in it starting the car. Nandini looks away as soon as manik sits the car, she blinks her eyes multiple times trying to avoid her tears. She was finding this harder than she thought, manik was not letting anyone near him but she wanted to try for him.
They reach the hospital, Nandini gets out of the car without saying anything. Manik looks at her "call me when you are done I'll pick you up"
Nandini looks at him and takes a deep breath but turns around walking off without replying to him which makes manik annoyed. He looks at her go with frustration on his face.
Nandini enters the hospital and walks to her cabin greeting everyone, although she was a little pissed off with her whole fight with manik.
As she was about to sit down she hears a knock on the door "come in"
It was the chief of doctors in this hospital who lead everyone.
"Good morning chief" Nandini greets him
"You look tired" he looks at her
"I'm not, I'm feeling better thank you" Nandini says, she offers him to sit down which he does and sits down.
"Look the whole thing about mr sohail phir tumhari shaadi and all these events that have came up have tired you so much right" he says to Nandini who furrows her eyebrows
"I'm saying if you want—"
"If I want what?" Nandini raises her eyebrows at him
"Do you want to keep me away from work? Is that the matter mujhe samajh nahi aa raha hai" she continues
"I'll speak clearly Nandini, yeh tumari jo slacking off hai nahi chalegi it's honestly frustrating, you have took so many days off" he sighs, Nandini looks down
"I understand—"
"No you don't, just because Tum humari hospital ki best doctor surgeon ho does not mean you do whatever you want. This is the last warning do you understand" he looks at Nandini angrily
"I do" Nandini looks up at him "I just want to say Maine humesha apni kaam ko apni pehli priority rahi hai I have loved this more than anything else and I will continue to till the end of my life"
"So now if you would allow me I will keep being upfront in my work and profession" Nandini says confidently, he gets up and nods leaving from there. She puts her hand on her face in frustration.
She was about to leave but manik walks in which surprises her "what are you doing here!" Nandini looks at him
"Woh tumse misbehav—" manik heard their conversation from outside and he heard how bad he sounded to Nandini.
"Look manik I don't have time ki mein yaha khadi rahu aur tumari bakwaas sunu I'm sorry theek hai mujhse galati ho gayi I tried to interfere in your life" Nandini says wearing her coat
"Now let me look after my own work and life" she looks at him, manik furrows his eyebrows at her.
"Mein apna kaam aur career bacha rahi hu do you understand" Nandini says looking at him
"Why did he give you a warning" manik looks at her
"Kyunki Tumne mujhe ghar pe lock karke rakha tha I could not come to work regularly so the chief doctor here gave me a warning okay?" Nandini moves closer to him
"It's not okay" Manik looks at her as anger fills up in his eyes on
"What do you mean it's not okay" Nandini looks at him, but manik starts walking out of her cabin without saying anything which worries Nandini.
She quickly follows him "Tum kaha jaa rahe ho?!" She asks running behind him.
"Manik!" She calls again as he continues to walk not listening.
"I said manik where are you going?!" Nandini asks him again but he does not reply
"Oh god Pata nahi why do I even try with him Iska gussa kahi—"
He stops at the chiefs cabin, Nandini stops by holding his hand "are you crazy don't do this!"
"I am crazy" he barges in to his cabin "manik stop!" Nandini calls him again but no point.
The chief was with another doctor sitting there, he looks up at manik and then looks at Nandini who was behind him.
"Get out of here" Manik says calmly looks at the doctor sitting there.
"Manik" Nandini calls him out once again, manik looks at the doctor who wasnt moving
"GET OUT!" Manik shouts, the doctor quickly gets up and walks out of the cabin. Nandini sighs and puts her head on her forehead in annoyance
"What is happening Nandini?" The chief looks up at Nandini
"Shut up!" Manik interrupts looking at him "do not use my wife's name again you call her doctor" Nandini looks down
"Now Meri baat dhayan se suno, dhyaan se Dekho iss chehre ko, memorise it well" Manik looks at him angrily
He moves closer to the chiefs chair "if you ever try to misbehave or talk to Nandini like this ever again I will make sure you get kicked out of here without a warning"
"Do you understand me?!" Manik looks at him
The chief takes a deep breath "Maine bas na—I mean doctor se Itna kaha ki—"
Manik slaps the table with his hand near chief "SHUT UP! It's happened it's over now!"
"Aage se Nandini se tameez se baat karna or don't even open your mouth to say anything concerning her" manik looks at him with sharp eyes, Nandini looks at manik.
"I can see what's going in your mind. I am manik Malhotra remember this fucking name"
Manik moves back "now take care of your work, do your job patients ke liye zyada fyada hoga" he turns around and looks at Nandini and then leaves from there. The chief looks away in anger.
Nandini follows him out sighing, she catches up to him and holds his hand turning him around "manik Kya kiya Yeh Tumne"
"Are you stupid? Everybody has to be aware of not crossing the limits of respect" she looks at him
"No body has the right to warn my wife like that right?" He says to her but more in a sarcastic way, Nandini rolls her eyes
"Maine tumari help maangi? Did I ask for your help? I don't think so"
"I don't need someone to protect me" Nandini continues
"I'm not protecting you" manik says instantly
"Kudh itni badtameezi karte ho mere saath but dekha nahi jaata jab mere saath koi badtameezi karta hai. Why is it like that manik?" She asks him
Manik looks away "don't you have work to do? Mere
Paas time nahi hai I have shit to do as well" he turns around
"Accha Toh phir yaha pe wapas Kyu aaye" Nandini asks him but manik does not reply to her he leaves from there. Nandini takes a deep breath looking at him.
Manik only came back because he could not bear that Nandini went off without replying to her, he knew he might have said too much to her but it was because he wanted to keep her out of all this, he knew her being close to him like that can ruin her too.
Nandini continues her work.

"You cannot do one bloody thing properly " sahin says in anger. He looks at amaya who he came to meet.
"It's not my problem, manik ne jaise kasam khaayi hai ki Woh kisi ko apne paas aane hi nahi dega" Amaya looks at him, both of were involved in doing things against manik from ages, amaya got manik attracted to her first because it was all her plan.
"Just shut up! You are just dumb, jo kaam tum itne saalon mein nahi kar paayi Woh uss Nandini ne teen hafte mein kar diya, she has manik, he cares for her aur shayad usse Pyaar bhi karta hai" sahin looks at her
"Manik se close aana bohot hi hard hai, Maine bohot koshish ki Lekin Woh mere Kareeb aaya hi nahi ese"
"And talk about yourself, tumare plan bhi khatam ho gaya. You fucked up too and now you have no control over him" Amaya continue
"CHUP! I never lose control, agar mera plan A fail hota hai toh plan B ready hota hai. Manik ka Ab weak point hai Nandini and that's how I am going to hurt phir dekhte hai ki manik Kya karta hai" sahin looks in a distance
"But he blackmailed you? Then how?"
"I will harm Nandini but through someone else, usse phir yahi lagega ki it's not me then I will be out of this clean" sahin laughs
"Great if that bitch Nandini goes then perhaps manik will come to me" Amaya laughs with sahin, as they join hands.
