Y/N'S POV
"OH come on y/n, you're always so busy. I want to spend sometime with you. Can't you just fix your schedule and make room for me." I heard Jennie say over the phone. She was sherly pouting on the other side of the line.
"I'm sorry Jennie, but I'll make it up to you soon. Promise." I said waiting for her response.
"Deal... but can I come to your house tonight. I have a spare key so I'll just wait for you to come home." She said enthusiastically.
"Wait Jen-" I was cut off by Jennie ending the call. I look at screen to make sure.
'How am I supposed to move on from you if you keep doing these types of things.' I thought.
Entering the office to see my assistant already here.
"Hello Ms. Myoui, what else do we have on the schedule for today?" I sternly ask getting a straight answer from her.
"Ms. Lee you have a meeting with the directors of our partnered companies. You have a meeting with your team from the marketing department. As well other less important things like signing paper work and the dead line of the new project you requested is tomorrow." Her tone professional and gave a smile while excusing herself.
I was sitting on my chair getting everything I need for the meet with the directors. While I was doing that I get a call from someone unexpected.
"Hello Y/n Lee speaking." I start off knowing exactly who it was.
"OH hey y/n it's Ben, Jennie's boyfriend." He says nervously.
"Ah Jennie's boyfriend, sorry I forgot to save your number. What do you want I'm quite a busy person that doesn't like to be disturbed." My tone going cold as ice.
"I was just wondering where Jennie was I can't get a hold of her." He said desperately.
"Well sorry to burst your bubble but I have no clue where she's at. Now if you excuse me I have to go albert." With that I hang up the phone. Turning my good mood into a bad one. Great. I look at the time see it was about time for the meeting.

"Finally." I stretch my body when getting up the chair. Getting my things ready to go home.
"Miss. Myoui what are you still doing here? I thought I gave you permission to go home early." Seeing that she had her purse on her table.
"OH I know it's just that my car broke down on the parking lot and I'm waiting for my ride to get here." She smiled a little taking out her phone.
"Do you know how long it's going to take for the person to get here?"
""Probably an hour Miss. Lee."
"Okay tell the person to not worry. I'll take you home for today." I smiled to ease her mind.
"What! No~ it's fine Miss. Lee it's against the company's policy." She said nervously.
"Miss. Myoui there is no company policy against taking an employee home. So shall we go?"

I dropped off Ms. Myoui to her house. Looking at the time seeing that it's already after midnight.
Entering my house seeing the lights of the living room still on and a movie playing on the TV. Coming closer seeing a figure lying down on the couch.
I take a better look at her removing some strands of hair from her face. Not noticing the big smile plastered on my face seeing her sleep so peaceful.
I turn off the TV and was about to put a blanket over her to not wake her up. Unfortunately her eyes opened just a small bit.
"Hey your back." A yawn escaping her mouth. "I made you food, are you hungry?" She asked stretching her arms while sitting up now.
"Sorry for not getting back earlier. I was busy today." I said patting her head. She pouted when I got up heading for the kitchen. Hearing a dumpling following behind.
"You know what... I'll accept your apologies if you cuddle with me." She said with the cutest dumpling smile.
"Fine~ you know you always get what your want." I playfully roll my eyes getting the food she made me from the fridge and started heating it up.
With food in my stomach now and a clingy Jennie right besides me waiting for me to finish her food.
"So what happened?" I initiate putting the utensils down.
"What? I haven't said anything?" Jennie chuckles eyeing me.
"Your boyfriend called saying he didn't know where you were. And by the looks of it your trying to avoid him." I sigh putting the plate in the sink. "You know I don't like being disturbed while working."
"I'm sorry, I'll talk with him about that." Her smile fainted slowly into a cute pout. "I'll tell you everything when we cuddle, let's go." She extends her hand which I gladly took and leads me up the stairs where my room was.
She laid down on the bed turning on the TV waiting for me to change from my business clothes into something more comfortable.
When I exit my bathroom seeing Jennie already in a comfortable position. She pats the spot right next to her putting play on the movie she selected.
"So tell me what happened?" I softly spoke lending her my attention. She got close putting her head on my shoulder while she hugged me from the side. I wrapped my arms around her putting the blanket over us.
"We got into an argument again. I was just so done with him not trusting me. Can you believe it... he thought I was secretly hooking up with someone." She says annoyed already remembering what happened. "I kept my patients until he started talking about you and what you meant to me."
"What-" I was flabbergasted at the revelation.
"I was shocked too. He thought you and I had some type of relationship or feelings going on behind his back. He told me that I should stop seeing you in order to make our relationship work." She interlocks our hands while looking at me. "I just walked out of there not saying another word. I didn't know what to do. He was making me chose between him or you." She finally let out a shakey breath.
"But your still unable to chose." I stated looking at her eyes seeing tears threatening to fall. "You care about me but you love him don't you." I say pulling away enough to see her face.
"I don't want to lose you or end our friendship for some guy." Her tears were now falling.
We've made so many memories sense childhood. I can't see her hurting even if that means hiding my feeling away from her. She has a decision to make, either her relationship or friendship. That's all we'll ever be best friend. These cuddles aren't mine but his. He stole her heart and she's hurting because of him.
I give her a kiss on the forehead trying to ease her mind pulling her closer and softly humming a melody. Which in under five minutes she went to sleep.

I couldn't sleep last night, I got into the shower getting ready for the day. Jennie is still sleeping on the bed I didn't have the strength to wake her up.
After taking a shower i prepared us some breakfast. Which I took both plates up to my room. I'll admit it hurt when she couldn't decide between him or I but I have to deal with only being her best friend.
"Hey Jenduekie wake up." I spoke shaking her a bit.
"No~ I don't want to." She says turn over and covering her face with the blanket.
"Then I'll eat your food that I made." I said teasing her a bit.
"Fine I'm awake, I'll go wash myself first. You better not eat my pancakes." She said getting into the bathroom.
'Why can't it always be like this. Jennie waking up by my side' I thought. stopping myself from thinking any further.
"Because she's my best friend" I silently whisper to myself.
I had many things on my mind until someone poked my side.
"Jennie that hurt." I whine earning a chuckle from her.
"You want me to kiss it to make it better." She teases laughing at my reaction."Thank you for the food."
"Your welcome, are you busy tonight?" I ask looking at her.
"Nope, why?"
"I don't have work today so want to spend the day with me." I wiggle my brows and continue eating my food.
"Yeah I guess... I also have to let loose for a bit." She smiles looking at me. "So it's a date. I'll go home now and change."
'A date. For her it only means a friendly date where she can forget about her boyfriend just for today.'
"Yeah it's a date then." I fake smile hoping she believes it. "I'll pick you up at 1 then."
"Okay by y/n see you." And like that she was gone.
Would it be wrong of me to tell her I can treat her better. I've lost so many chances for my pathetic lack of courage. Should I just tell her today. It would save me many future regrets I would have. Plus my heart will continue to shatter if I don't confront these feelings for her. Maybe this would also help her decide on her choice.

I was on her front porch about to knock when suddenly it opens revealing a very beautiful Jennie.
"You look amazing like always Jenduekie." I say opening the door for her.
"Thanks y/n. You look stunning yourself." She says.

We spent the whole day together filled with happiness and laughter. We where now walking next to the Han river hand in hand. She was looking up at the sky seeing her beautiful smile appear.
"You know staring is rude y/n." I snap back into reality when she spoke.
"Sorry wha-t?" I feel my cheeks getting warm from the embarrassment that I got caught staring.
"I'm just messing with you." She chuckles nudging me. "I had fun y/n."
"Me too Jen. Do you want to go home now." I ask hoping she would say no.
"Not yet. I like spending time with you." She says getting closer. I saw her close her eyes and start to lean in. Which i instantly closed my eyes ready for what comes next.
But it never did. I felt her breath on my neck. She went in for a hug I thought feeling a little disappointed.
I couldn't believe my mind tricked me again. What are you doing to me Jennie.
"You know something, your future lover would be so lucky to have you." She said staying were she was. "And if they ever break that heart of gold you have. I'll make sure to give them a lesson." She says acting cute while letting go of me.
"Don't worry about that I can take care of myself." I let out turning around to continue walking. "You coming or staying behind." I say looking back at her.
"On my way." She says running to interlock her arm with mine.
"Hey Jenduekie what do you do if there's someone you like but know you can't have them?" I ask not wanting to make eye contact with her.
"Mmm well I'll tell that person how I feel and if they don't feel the same I'll probable avoid them and try to move on before it's to late." She said. I could feel her eyeing me when suddenly she stopped me. "Wait you like someone." She released a gasp connecting most of the dots together.
"Maybe."
"Tell me who? Do I know them or no? Girl or boy?" I stopped Jennie from yelling from excitement.
"Let's get you home." I said opening the door for her and heading to drop her off.
The whole ride was not silent at all Jennie would keep bombarding me with questions.
In the meanwhile I gathered all my courage to tell her about my hidden feelings toward her.
We made it to her house getting out first to open the door for her. I walk with her until I was on her porch.
"Jennie I have to tell you something real quick." She turned around to see me nervous and not making eye contact.
"Okay is this about the mysterious girl your not telling me about." She smiles giving me some encouragement.
"Yes and I want you to listen to me careful Jenduekie." I say feeling proud of not struggling with my words.
"Okay continue I'm all ears."
"Just like you said I don't want to have any regrets about hiding my feelings. So Jennie I know this might be hard for you but I can't hold it in any longer. Every time I see you with your boyfriend it breaks my heart knowing maybe that could of been me. I know that after this you might hate me or end our friendship but.... I love you Jennie. I don't know how it happened but it did." I couldn't face Jennie and the silent was killing me, so when I looked up seeing a very emotional Jennie about to break hurt.
Her tears were falling and I could see her mind racing. I shed my own tears knowing what was about to come.
"I'm so sorry y/n."
"I'm sorry for hurting you"
"I'm sorry for not finding out."
"I'm so sorry."
I came closer to her comforting her even if I was hurting I'll give up my happiness for hers.
We were both crying not wanting to let go of each other we both knew that this was a fragile situation. Where we didn't want to hurt each other.
"Y/n I'm so sorry."
"Sorry for what?" A guy says behind us. I try my best to fix myself before turning around and meeting no other then Jennie's boyfriend.
He walks closer to us and sees that Jennie had puffy eyes and tear stains on her face.
"Babe what's wrong?" He ask getting closer to hug her. Jennie didn't say anything or do anything. She was paralyzed. "If this is about our fight I'm sorry. Okay. I thought we talked about it in the morning right." He says kissing her forehead.
The scene was breaking me and left me confused. They talked in the morning. Right before I picked her up. No wonder she was so happy.
"I'll be leaving now. Please take care of Jennie while I'm gone." I said eyeing the couple. Jennie look at me shocked on what I've said so I decided to continue.
"I'll be gone for a few months for business." I fake a smile at them put Jennie knew it was fake. How can you be smiling when you just poured your heart out to her.
"Take care of yourself Jennie." I left leaving her there with her boyfriend.
Once again my mind played tricks on me. Those cuddles at night would never be mine but at least you'll be happy.
