3rd POV
The room was quiet as the morning sun rose.
Hailing from the east, as the suns rays shone through the window of the queens room.
Lea was the first to wake.
She rubbed her tired eyes and yawned as she stretched her arms.
She let out a content sigh as she looked down at the group before her.
Marley was tangled up in Demitri's and Heathers arms.
Demitri had her head under Marleys chin and Heather had hers on top.
A perfect blend.
Lea smiled as she recalled the events from the night before.
She was ecstatic when Marley said that she could finally accept them.
Lea was cautious about Marley.
She knew there was something about the younger girl that the three didn't know.
At least in full detail.
Lea as well as the other two wanted to help Marley heal from her past.
Make her see a brighter future with them and let go of the pain she's been holding on for so long.
Lea knew it would take time Marley had accepted them yes but they still had to be careful
She was like a full cup of water, ready to spill at any point.
Lea shook her head, these thoughts could wait for another time.
She kissed Heathers cheek before getting out of bed, and went to the washroom, day clothes in hand.
She changed quickly and as she exited the washroom she saw Demitri sitting up.
She had just finished stretching and was now fully awake.
She looked over and her facial expressions seemed to lighten upon seeing her wife.
She smiled brightly as she made hand gestures towards Lea.
Lea chuckled lightly as she picked Demitri up.
Demitri wrapped her legs around Lea.
Compared to Lea or even Heather Demitri was the smallest.
Now Marley was the smallest which Demitri got excited for.
She never had a partner who was smaller then her which meant she was usually the one being held.
However Demitri liked the idea of holding Marley and being the taller and possibly stronger one in the relationship.
Lea took Demitri outside and sat down in a chair on the balcony.
Demitri put her head in Lea's neck and have her little kisses.
Lea smiled at her wife's cute antics and started conversation.
"Good morning did you sleep well?"
She could feel Demitri's head move up and down,
"Yeah it was nice to be with Marley again,"
Demitri's head now rested on Lea's shoulder so she could talk.
Lea brought her hands to Demitri's back and she traced circles, something Demitri found oddly comforting.
"I'm glad she said yes,"
Demitri said shortly after.
"Me too I do not know what would have happen had she not,"
After a couple of seconds of silence Demitri spoke up again,
"Hey Lea can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah what is it?"
There was another short pause before Demitri said something again,
"Are you worried about Marley?"
Lea was a little surprised at the sudden question but answered nonetheless,
"I suppose for some reasons I am why do you ask?"
"I'm just worried for her, after seeing her wounds I know she's in pain and I don't just mean physical.
I want Marley to feel safe with us I want to protect her and keep her safe. I love her Lea I really do, I don't want to see her so upset,"
Lea tightened her arms around Demitri as she pulled the girl impossibly closer,
"I worry to, I've heard the stories but we all know that whatever Marley saw was never in the books, we can only try. Try to help her, let her speak to us about it, it would help her. We just need to be patient Marley is as delicate as she is strong, but I agree I love her too, I hope her safety remains,"
Denitri smiled at Lea's comment glad that the other agreed with her.
Hearing Lea say that she loved Marley didn't make Demitri sad or cause jealousy, in fact Demitri really liked it. Knowing that Lea also loved Marley just as much as she did made Demitri extremely happy.
Not long after the two heard the door to the balcony open up.
They both looked over to see a smiling Heather.
She smiled when she saw Lea holding Demitri it was always cute.
"Well good morning,"
Heather said as she got another chair and sat next to the other two.
Demitri detached herself from Lea and went over to Heather, she gave her a quick kiss before getting her own chair.
The three were now sitting in a sort of triangle position with each girl on their own chair.
Lea and Demitri filled Heather in on their conversation from before.
Heathers answer was somewhat similar to Lea's to which Demitri was glad to hear.
The three talked some more, the conversation going into the direction of politics and meetings that they needed to attend too.
Meanwhile Marley had finally woken up.
She blinked a couple of times before finally opening her eyes.
She looked around the room as she got up.
Her face immediately getting redder as she remembered the events prior.
Once she finally calmed down she looked more around the room and saw the three outside.
Marley realised that she was the last one to wake up.
She wondered when the others had gotten up.
She quietly got up and made her way to the washroom.
She had put her jacket back on and combed through her tangly hair.
Once she looked well enough she exited the washroom.
The three were still outside and Marley contemplated if she wanted to join them.
She decided to try it and she walked out to the balcony.
Upon seeing their mate the three instantly lit up.
"Good morning, Marley did you sleep well?"
Heather had asked the question.
Demitri had gotten the last chair and put it next to hers and patted it for Marley to sit on.
"Yes I did thank you for letting me stay the night,"
"It was no problem, and besides we all enjoyed it,"
Lea had responded this time.
Marley smiled lightly at the comment, glad that the three found enjoyment in being with her.
Conversation began again as the four talked about simple things and asked each other questions, ones mostly pertaining to Marley.
Marley smiled again as she sat father back in the chair.
Finding herself a comfortable position.
She was content.
Being in the three's presence made Marley really happy.
She never realised these feelings until now.
She looked at the smiling three who were laughing at something Heather had said.
She finally realised what she was so confused on.
Marley was undoubtedly in love with the three.
And for the first time she didn't care.
She grew to like the idea of being in love.
But now it was real.
Now she found the people who made her the happiest she's ever been.
And she couldn't be more grateful.
Marley was finally truely happy.
And it was all thanks to the three.
If only this moment could last forever.
But in Marleys memory it would.
Because who could forget it.
The first time they fell in love.
