We passed a car and noticed that Vanya was driving. We all made eye contact before both cars pulled over. Five and I got out of the car and ran towards Vanya.
"What are you guys doing here?" She asked.
"Looking for you," Five told her, "we're going back to 2019."
"What are you talking about?" Vanya asked.
"Look, I don't really have time to explain right now, but I found a way home. All right? We have 30 minutes to leave," Five said as he took my hand and started to led us back to the car.
"What about my friends? I can't just leave them here," Vanya said.
Five and I stopped to look at her.
"Vanya, you don't have a choice in this all right?" Five said, "doomsday will happen if you don't come with us."
"Okay, then I'm bringing them with me," Vanya said.
"V, they belong here. In this timeline," I said.
"Says who?" She yelled, "Sissy deserves a life where she doesn't have to pretend to be someone she's not. And Harlan? There's a name for what he has. We can get him the help he needs."
"Vanya," Five said.
"Look, a mom and her eight year old son are not going to screw up the timeline, guys!" Vanya yelled, "They're insignificant!"
Five let go of my hand and walked towards her, "No one is insignificant. I'm sorry all right? But we can't take that risk. They have to stay."
Vanya looked past him at me, "Y/N?"
"I'm sorry, Vanya. But I agree with Five," I said.
"Come on," Five said as he walked back towards me.
"Why do you get to decide?" Vanya yelled, "You're the reason we're stuck here in the first place!"
"Vanya!" I yelled.
Five turned to her, "If I did nothing, we would all be dead right now, thanks to you."
"Five!" I yelled.
"They're coming with me," Vanya said.
"Vanya, do not test me right now," Five said as he walked towards her.
"That's funny," she said as she walked towards him, "cause I was just about to say the same thing."
Vanya's eyes turned white as she let her energy run through her body and blue energy left Five's hands as they both stared each other down.
I sighed, "Guy's..."
Vanya sighed and and calmed down, "Fine."
"Fine what?" Five asked,
"I'll be there, but I need to say goodbye first," Vanya said.
"Oh, Vanya, we don't have the time," Five said.
"Well, it's either that or I'm not coming," She said before turning around and walking back to her car.
I walk up to him and place my hand on his shoulder, "Just let her go. I would want to say goodbye to you."
He sighs and nods, "come on."
He takes my hand and we walk back towards the car.
"The alley! Don't be late!" Five yelled back at Vanya before opening my door. I got in the car and scooted to the middle of the the seat so I could sit closer to Five. I laid my head on his arm and used he one of his hands to hold mine.
"It'll all work out," I said.
"I hope so," he said before kissing my head.
I stood next to Five as he grabbed the briefcase out of the dumpster.
"Hey, guys!" Luther called out as he ran in behind us.
"Hey, Luther," I smiled.
"Where is everyone?" Luther asked.
"You're the first," Five said.
"What?" Luther said.
Five nodded, "Yeah."
I looked down the alley Klaus ran around the corner.
"Holy shit, Klaus made it," I said.
"Hey! Hey! We made it!" He yelled as he ran towards us.
"What do you mean we?" Five asked.
"Get out!" Klaus yelled.
Five and I looked at each other.
"Klaus, are you okay?" I asked.
"Out!" Klaus yelled before he puked everywhere and fell to the ground.
I buried my face in the crook of Five's neck.
"I can't believe it. I mean you're here!" Luther yelled at Klaus.
"We've got eight minutes left," Five said.
"I just had the strangest dream," Klaus said.
"Where are the others?!" Five yelled. I put my hand on his shoulder to try and calm him down.
"Hey, I need you to calm down," I whispered.
He looked at me and sighed. I combed my fingers through his hair.
"We have one minute left!" Luther yelled as he smacked his hand down on the dumpster.
"What's going on, guys? Are we going somewhere?" Klaus asked.
"It was a simple task. It was a simple task!" Five yelled as he started pacing around, "All we had to do was be here! Didn't have to fight a giant sea monster, no. An army of mutants? Nein!"
"I can't believe this!" Luther yelled.
"It was handed to us on a silver platter!" Five yelled.
"Could you just moan a little softer? My head is killing me," Klaus complained as he covered his ears.
"Listen to me, you useless puke bag. We just missed our chance to save the world!"
The briefcase started making a clicking noise indicating that the time is almost up.
"God Damn it!" Five yelled.
"Shit!" Luther yelled as Five picked up the briefcase and tossed it in the air. It disappeared.
Five sighed, "We were that close. That close."
I walked over to give him a hug, but he started pacing around before I could get my arms around him.
"Now what?" Luther asked.
"Now nothing, Luther, all right? Make your peace with God." Five yelled.
"What? What about Allison and Vanya?" Luther asked.
"Screw them both! They should've been here!" Five yelled.
"What about Diego?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's quite a responsible young man, no?" Klaus said as he sat up from the ground.
"Something must've happened to them," Luther said.
I nodded in agreement.
"Screw Diego, all right?" Five yelled, "Screw everybody! I was better off on my own in the apocalypse!"
"Five! Come on!" Luther yelled at him.
"You know what Luther? It's every sibling for himself now. How 'bout that?" Five said before walking inside.
I took off after him. I opened the door and chased him up the stairs.
"Five!" I called.
He stopped and waited for me to catch up. He took my hand and continued walking.
"Hey! Five, doomsday is still coming. We gotta think of a new plan!" Luther yelled as he chased after us.
"Don't you get item Luther?" Five said, "It's over, all right? We're all ready dead."
"Then where are you going?" Luther asked.
"I'm going to do the unthinkable," Five said.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Luther asked.
"I was really hoping it wouldn't have to come to this," Five said as we walked inside.
"Come to what, Five?" Luther yelled.
Five pulled me into our room. He locked the door and turned to me.
"So, what's the plan?" I asked.
"I'll tell you after we talk about you," He said.
"What about me?" I asked.
He takes my hands, "I know you're holding your feelings in."
I sighed and looked at the ground. I know he's talking about Elliott.
He placed his hand on my cheek, "Love, talk to me."
"He didn't deserve to die," I said before I bursted into tears.
Five pulled me into a hug.
"No, he didn't," he said as he rubbed my back.
He kissed my head.
"He took me in when I was alone, he gave me a place to stay, and he cared for me like I was his daughter," I said as I laid my head on his shoulder.
"And I'm so grateful for that," Five said before kissing my head.
"He took care of our whole family. He let us all stay here. He was a good person even if he was a bit crazy," I chuckled as I still cried.
Five chuckled too, "He thought I was an alien when we first met."
I laughed, "He probably thought I was too. Yet, he still let me stay here."
I started crying again and Five just held me in his arms.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't there to comfort you last night," he said.
"You're here now," I said, "Luther and Diego tried to comfort me, but they're not you."
"They could never be me. They're too stupid," Five said causing me to chuckle.
"Way too stupid," I said.
"I think I'm starting to rub off on you," he chuckled.
"Just a bit," I said before we both started laughing.
He leaned down and pecked my lips.
"Can you tell me your plan now?" I asked.
"Sure," he said before leaning against the wall, "I arrive in Dallas today."
What is he— wait.
"You're younger yet older self?" I asked.
He nodded, "yes and he's got a briefcase."
I smiled and kissed his cheek, "Love, you're a genius!"
"Thanks, love," he smiled, "it's risky though."
"How risky?" I asked.
"Well... you're not really supposed to be in close proximity of yourself in the same timeline," He said, "we also have to be sure that he jumps to 2019."
I nodded, "that's for sure. If he doesn't jump, we're both screwed."
"Sadly, it's our only chance," he said.
"Then, I'll be by your side the whole time," I said.
He pressed a soft kiss on my lips.
"I don't know what I would do without you," he said before kissing me again.
I smiled.
"Come on. I have to prepare to meet myself," he unlocked the door and walked out.
"Wait, Five!" I called after him, "What do you mean prepare yourself?"
