Jocelyn heads to the Supernatural Council again.
She thinks about this past week. The day after the party, the training begins. They have worked hard, sparing and learning better techniques for offense and defense. They eat breakfast at their homes. Then at lunch, she had a meal delivered. We continue training. The Omegas would leave after lunch and make a packed supper. We eat supper together as a pack. Then everyone cleans up their dishes.
Lander has been busy getting everyone signed up for their house choice. Zephyr helped Jocelyn arrange for the gnomes to build the houses. The first few days, there was a conflict because gnomes work at night and sleep during the day. But once they got used to it. Plus, the gnomes handed out earplugs to help mute the sound. It helped mute the construction sound. It surprised me how quickly they built them. The first ones to move in were four of the Omegas family. Their homes had been in the worst shape. As soon as they were forced out of these old homes or rooms, they would be demolished.
She did have to deal with some bullies and held a second pack meeting where she addressed the bullies' issues. "Earlier today, I reprimanded some Guardians and Gammas for bullying. They were told it would not be tolerated. Then half an hour after the warning, I caught the youth bullying. That is when I decided to implement a bullying policy. Anyone caught bullying, no matter the rank, will be collared. This collar will put your wolf asleep. You will lose your shifting capacity and strength. You will become a human. Depending on the severity of the bullying will determine the length of time. Plus, you will be put on community service at the new counseling building for at least 50 hours. If I notice you are one who repeatedly bullies, then you will also be put into counseling."
Jocelyn looks at the pack. "I know you learned from your previous alpha that this behavior was ok. Ex-Alpha Xavier allowed this. This behavior was also supported by his godfather, who was on the supernatural committee, Xavier. However, I am now telling you it isn't ok. I am now going to share what the new ranking order will be.
You might wonder how Beta and Delta work when my pups age. Currently, none of the Beta and Deltas have pups, but when they do, their pups will still maintain their ranks.
Senior Beta Davison and their mate Caroline will be in charge of training Elizabeth and Guinevere
(They have been informed they cannot have pups, and if the moon goddess blesses them, their dog will still maintain Beta rank, and we will adjust how it will work.
Beta Davidson will step in when Hutton and I are called away on business and assist me in all areas.
Junior Beta Thomas Branson and mate
They will be in charge of the rouge amnesty village I plan to start. I have learned by talking to pack members that many ran because of the barbaric rules and became rouge. Right now, Beta Thomas is searching for them. They will be given a choice to return to their family as pack members or live in the village under amnesty; as the ranking Beta, his job will be to train my beta pups to replace him when he decides to retire.
Junior Beta Allison Darrin Johnson and their mate Samantha will be in charge of helping with office work and be judged for minor infractions. Will escalate up to me if seamed major crime. The Lycan King Alpha Easton Hutton agreed to send an enforcer trainer to train them in this legal area.
Delta Rank is more tricky. I chose three triplet fraternal sisters and their mates. I had a meeting with them because, skill-wise, they were equal. It was determined since the girls were raised by the rank of birth, we would keep them like that.
Deltas' primary jobs are two-fold. One, they are in charge of training and that schedule. Then their second part is to protect the pups if an attack happens or they are off pack-land.
Annabelle is the oldest.

Their job is to schedule all the training. Everyone will go through training based on skill. They will oversee all training.
The Delta will ensure my pup: Davis and their firstborn are trained in this area.
Yes, as my son is born from a Delta, he will naturally be stronger. But first born, we will see how the first solid generation is. I think one will be in charge of the offense and the other in order of defense training. The pups will not lose the ranks their parents earned. Their ranks will be inherited by the eldest, no matter their sex. I feel our pack can support this type of ranking system.
Clarabella was second born.

They were given the second choice. They both have requested to be in charge of training our elementary pups. They will go to the school and help implement a training class that is age and skill appropriate. Plus, implement a safe room since, currently, the school does not have one.
Isabelle was third born
Hank and Isabelle Gordon
They will be in charge of two areas of security. Traditionally the delta had the job of protecting the Luna and our pups. They will oversee the safety and be trained by my present security staff. Plus, at the same time, evaluate and implement the security of the orphanage.
Hank requested, and I support this idea, that anyone struggling to pass levels one and two be pulled aside for extra tutoring. He stated he had seen about a couple dozen members working. Plus, another couple dozen are not putting effort into learning. He did not give names. You know who you are and which group you fall into. I am giving everyone one week to shape up and improve. Otherwise, those of you not trying will be placed in a detention room and mandatory two extra hours of training.
This is not for the ones who are struggling. We ask that those who are struggling to see either Delta Hank or Isabelle sign up for extra help. This might mean one on one training or small-group training. This will be a case-by-case base."
Jocelyn looks around, "This pack, before me coming here, did not have the Guardian ranks. I am asking all teachers, my secretary, lawyers, doctors, and nurses to step forward. If there is someone with a four-year or more college degree to step forward." They all come forward and stand in a long line. She slices her hand, and it drips into the ceremonial bowl. She has a pin cushion that she asks Alpha Goliath, the alpha assisting her today. "Alpha Goliath will be walking in front of me. You are to take out a pin, and when I get in front of you, then prick your finger and stir your finger into my blood. When you do that, you become Guardian Rank." She then went down and ranked them to their new rank. They then went down and rejoined the pack. These ranks are not passed on generically. They will only be passed on by hard work and wolves who maintain an 80% or higher grade. Plus, work within this pack. Those who deserve guardian rank will have their college classes reimbursed upon graduation if they maintain 80% or higher grades. You, current guardians of the pack, will offer an upgrade on your house. Depending how long you have been doing your job will determine how much of an upgrade it is. When you turn to see my brother, he will share the amount with you.
Now I know some of you are struggling to maintain a 70% grade, and upon completion of college or technical training, you can earn up to 50% back if your teacher feels you were giving it all and not too busy partying while in school. I am also going to set up a tutoring hall. If a teacher, parent, or yourself is struggling, stop by and see the pack librarian. She will set it up. I know some of you from university, but that was the past. This is the future. If you change your ways from partying to studying, this will be your reward.
Wait, I just got about a dozen parents' links stating they are paying for your school. I will say the wolf who paid will get the money reimbursement. Parents, if you want that money returned, pay attention to their grades. Those who are students be grateful they are paying. I know some classmates whose parents would not pay. I also know classmates that they had to pay for their first semester. Their parents would reimburse them based on grades. If their grade was below 70%, they got no reimbursement; if their grade was a 78%, they got 78% from their parents. They had to get a job to come up with the rest. You get reimbursed for your hard work.
Well, that strays away from ranking. Those who graduate from a technical school with 70% or higher grade or college with 69% or lower rank will be Era. Please step up and let us promote you. You, too, will get an upgrade in housing. My brother will have your details." I see ten steps forward. I encouraged them in a similar way as the guardians.
"We will then have the next rank be our working class. This is our Gamma. You are the Jack of all trades. You have no formal trading, but you have earned my respect. Many of you found your mate and started families young.
"Now, I want to call up all Omegas." There are 20 who step forward. "This pack is going to be implementing another program. There will be no more omegas like the ones this pack currently has.
When a youth graduates from high school and decides they don't want to further their education, they will not automatically become their parent's rank. They will go through an apprenticeship of on-the-job training. During that time, they will be the rank of omega and have to earn their status." She hears a few growls and groans. She stops talking and growls back, and the pack gets quiet again. "Once their mentor feels they know their job, they will see my secretary. They will fill out the form they and their mentor will sign off on. Then the next full moon, we will rank them up to Gamma if we agree with that assessment."
I glare at the ones grumbling. "Before anyone complains about the ones going to further education. They also will not automatically get their parent's rank. For example, when even my son, Charlie, who wasn't even born, will be called Alpha. He will have the status of student/alpha-to-be. Until he graduates college and is sworn in as Alpha, he isn't.
College students will be treated like students in the student ranks. If you act out, you will go before our new judge for sentencing and punishment.
During this past week, I have talked with several top three leaders. Even some of those packs are willing to implement the same ranking system. In a couple of days, I will speak to the Supernatural Council about the uniformity of ranks.
She then looks at all the omegas. "These omegala have been punching bags, cleaning the pack, cooking food for the pack, and in some cases force upon. Some have even left their blood on pack grounds. This will happen no more. They will all be promoted up to Gamma. They are now part of the working class and will be paid working-class wages." A few wolf growls. "Take those wolves who growl and put a collar on them for two weeks. As I stated, NO MORE BULLYING." You see, about a dozen members get escorted away by the Lycan.
"Once again, we will go down this line. Alpha Goliath will hand out the pins, and I will walk down the row. You will prick your finger and stir it into my blood. Once your blood mixes with my blood, you will be rank of gamma." Goliath and her then walk down the aisle. They rank them all up. Then they join the others in the pack.
"Now that I have issued the proclamation of no bullying and have promoted all up. I want to announce that I am getting some pain. Will the doctor meet me at the hospital to see if labor or Braxton Hicks?" Then I headed to the hospital to be informed I was dilated to 3, but it was only Hicks."
