"It's been a while since I last went out like this"

Walking down the sidewalk with the two of them clearly walking on the inner side of the path,

It seems like these two knew that it was 50% safer inside but none had enough courage to actually talk about it,

They are just walking very closely beside each other now.

It just hit 1 am and that's not even that late for Chaewon's taste,

And though it is already 1 am here in Seoul,

Korean's tend to have a pretty admirable night life because the amount of couples still walking the opposite way of Chaewon and Minju,

Doesn't even bother them unless the girl looks like she had too much to drink or if the guy looks suspicious about something,

Other than that people actually talk to other people if they need help so nobody's really listening to music with both ears when walking down at night.

"Drinking out?"

"Yup, especially tonight, it's a Thursday and I even went out with someone I barely even know"

Minju's soft smile got Chaewon feeling a little bit embarrassed and in within the thoughts of processing if she really did just say that or not,

Like that's so much like something her brother would say to other people but she never really thought she would ever pull it off just like that herself.

"They even say I'm not rebellious"

"Oh I don't think I trust 'them' so much"

Good thing flow of thought exist and actually 60% of what you think is something a normal human being would say.

And this my friend's is Chaewon's own body taking over for her until she could turn auto-pilot off and her head can look back at where she's going rather than the ground she's walking on.

"Good thing I filed a two-day leave"

Looking at Chaewon to see her endlessly gazing at the buildings and cars parked by the road in front of them,

They're just taking their own time with walking to the bus stop right now and it's really a good thing to have someone walking with you at night.

Minju saw how Chaewon looked so emotionless when she said that she was 'glad' that she filed her two days' worth of leave,

And she's not really buying the whole glad and grateful thing.

I mean just look at her,

She knows she had the chance to stop her from going out to drink earlier but she barely knows her,

And that makes her more of a person not allowed to give someone they just met a very biased opinion based on what you know,

She's just worried that she's still in the same phase as she was earlier.

"You should have enough rest until tomorrow then"

Seeing a small chance on getting back on track with having a decent conversation with Minju,

Chaewon immediately jumped back on her seat to control herself to reduce the chances of saying embarrassing things right in front of her right now,

She's been giving her a stern and secured person vibe for the whole evening so why would she spoil it with one wrong move that could possibly turn Minju off, personality wise.

"Oh right, how about you, don't you have work?"

"I actually have work tomorrow so wish me luck"

"Oh"

With Minju kicking a stone similar with how Chaewon's feelings that just got kicked in the ass right now,

What's more off putting than making someone you potentially like spend a weekday night outside of their house or yours,

And even made them drink when you don't even know how much alcohol they could take in.

Oh, Chaewon messed up, big.

"I'll do, I promise. I'll wish you luck"

ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ

"What do you even do as a job?"

Asking another topic in hopes to turn things around so nothing would be in blame under Chaewon's name,

They already started talking about work so why not go with it since when did adult talk never include work life am I right?

Her mom always asks her about her work and her brother always uses it as an excuse so,

Why not follow her family's footsteps in making poorly decided excuses in a conversation that she doesn't want to end yet.

"You don't remember already? We asked each other earlier though"

"Really?"

And karma hits again.

See kids, we people have something called karma and it really isn't something we should bet on carelessly unlike Chaewon here.

"Yes"

Sensing that she doesn't remember already and knowing that she doesn't want them to stop talking too,

Minju easily gives in to other people and this is a habit that she needs to learn how to handle more off since giving into favors,

Isn't always going to help you get high enough in life.

"I work in the Broadcasting industry, specifically around TV shows and stuff"

"Oh right, I remember now"

Biting her lower lip in hopes of her brain remembering where she works at before she starts talking again,

Chaewon felt a lightbulb beside her light up with the thought of knowing the right thing popping up in her mind,

Her ego being fed with her knowing that she's slowly getting a grip over everything happening again.

"GBS right?"

"Yup, I still remember what you do for work though"

Stepping up her game since she is an Aquarius,

Minju's back with her unpredictability inside her pocket as she easily pulled out that fact on Chaewon that's slowly nicking on her ego again,

Oh how would these two fit each other if their going to be like this?

"Then what is it?"

"Financial stuff for a charity-based organization for kids"

"Wow, you know your stuff"

The bitterness in Chaewon's words wasn't enough for an Aquarius to sense so that's something we should be glad enough as Minju even thought that it was a funny thing to do,

Giggling at Chaewon made the unlabeled fight disperse within seconds since though Chaewon is a Leo,

She's a person first before she's a human being following what her zodiac says about her.

"Why are you laughing?"

"That didn't sound heartfelt"

"Yes it was"

Her lips slowly curving upward with her getting caught right in the act,

Made Chaewon feel accomplished rather than bad since Minju was the one who started laughing first,

She thinks that whatever this kind of chemistry bloominh in between them,

Is the one that easily shifts with what's happening in between the two of them.

Whether it's a small disagreement or actually caring about each other's opinions,

Giving each other personal space to and laughing off potentially heated fights,

It isn't something you would find in a normal 'work-eat-sex-sleep' relationship,

Yet everyone has their own way of loving other people like what Minju said earlier,

And she thinks this is the way she's going to want to love someone in the future.

"Then I'll take as a compliment"

Still seeing a smile in Chaewon's face as her eyes panned up to see the bus stop she'll be waiting at,

She knows that the building Chaewon lives in is only a few more buildings away and as of what she knows,

She left her a favor to do so she'll still pass by the convenience store within eye's sight right now,

She really has nothing to worry about other than not getting car sick inside the bus she needs to ride so she reaches home.

"This is my stop"

Spinning around as she had both of her hands holding the strap of her shoulder bag,

She's still impressed on how Chaewon managed to have everything she needs inside her very mysterious pockets,

It's like they don't even exist since Chaewon still looks like how she was earlier when Minju first saw her when by the elevator,

When she didn't figure out immediately that she was the person screaming her lungs out inside her house,

When she didn't want to assume that she was the person she was taken away from when they were younger.

"Bye, I guess"

Hearing the word 'bye' come from her wasn't something she ever wanted to hear from her,

But life is life and it already happened back then already and there wasn't even a chance to say goodbye to her back,

So yes, she's thankful that she got to hear that word from her know though years have passed by already,

Her voice is still the same and she could still see the person she knows deep inside the present Chaewon.

Staring upon a bus slowly making its stop in front of them made Chaewon realize that everything's going to fast again,

And if she doesn't act fast enough like how she went out of her door earlier tonight,

She'll never have the same decisions waiting for her to pick one since they'll disintegrate on their own,

And she's clear on not letting that happen so whatever they really have in between right now tonight,

Chaewon wants to continue this in the future when time decides that it's good for the both of them to meet again,

When they're both ready to continue with each other again if fate lets them do what they want.

"Well, I really can't deny that I really do hope I meet you again"

Saying things without thinking is a go to Chaewon thing and it's either positive or negative way,

Since she already had two incidents today going negative,

It really meant that she saved the best for last as she could already feel the positiveness Minju brought with her smile when she looked at Chaewon right after mumbling that confession she took live right beside of her.

"I don't really think there's that much people named Kim Minju in the broadcasting industry in case you want to find me so,"

Leaving her smile with Chaewon and her memories,

The doors of the bus opening right in front of them made Minju move against what she wants to do and that is to stay with Chaewon for no explainable reason at all,

She just wants to see her all the time and she's glad that her act of sliding a note in a random person's door led to something like this that made her believe in fate yet again,

She was already contemplating whether what she did earlier was wrong and if she invaded someone else's privacy,

But to know that it was Chaewon,

She's glad that she still has some dumbness within her that keeps getting her attracted to her direction.

"I'll keep that in mind."

"I'll keep you in mind too."

"Bye now"

"Adios"

A short and blunt goodbye,

It isn't the prettiest way to do it but in terms of making sure that there's nothing more serious than a relationship starting in between them needed that kind of goodbye to happen.

ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ

Calmly walking down a very silent and motionless hallway to her door wasn't how Chaewon usually spends her midnights,

Especially if it's Friday since she can get quite excited thinking about the upcoming weekends getting nearer and nearer.

So for her to actually be walking with a plastic bag full of foods and drinks she picked up when she passed by a convenience store,

She had one more favor to do so she gladly listened to her words and spent a couple 10,000 won bills to fulfill her tiny simple wish.

Gently opening her door to be faced with her tv still on as the show supposed to be playing on it has at least remained paused for a good hour or three,

The pillows once nicely placed on her sofa all over the floor as it reminded her of what she did earlier,

Her curtains open leaving the city's night life lingering around her windows,

Chaewon remembers how much she kept screaming here earlier by herself but thanks to the two and a half hours that she was with Minju outside the four walls of her 'home',

She realized that a bad day can still be a good one with a simple change of direction on how someone else thinks in their life.

Minju left Chaewon with plenty of questions,

A good number of memories,

A night filled with happiness,

And one weird nickname she seems to like too much without really knowing the meaning behind it.

"Why did she call me Guma anyways? It sounds like an old dog's name"

Taking her shoes off as her mind moved on its own making her remember the first second Minju said that word to her,

It really did sound absurd for her to come out with that word soon enough when Chaewon told her she could call her by her name,

But that must mean that she already kept thinking about it before she even asked Chaewon her question.

"I think she really is her, there's no way she's not her"

"She liked berries and fruit stuff too, she would always eat fruit stuff before going out in the afternoon."

Remembering that simple detail she always notices back then when they would meet with each other,

Chaewon also kept a small room for all their memories to stay so there is no way she's delusional on that fact,

But there is something more to it too,

A more concrete evidence that the person she met tonight is indeed the Kim Minju that she knows.

"And there's no way her eyes aren't the same like how they were back then."

"She needs to be Kim Minju."

"I know that she's the same Kim Minju, I just really do."

Turning her tv off before quickly storing the things she bought inside her refrigerator,

A simple tip was even left to her so she could be back on her two feet as soon as she wakes up the next day.

"She even told me to buy two bottles of Gatorade to reduce hangover."

"Really why Guma though."

Clicking her tongue as she sat back down on her sofa,

Chaewon slowly laid her hair down on the pillows below her making her feel sleepier,

And with that mixing with her thoughts slowly slipping out of her mind,

Chaewon finally thought of something that may help her with pin pointing what she's been endlessly thinking of.

"Oh, goguma is sweet potato."

"Is that her way of calling me sweet?!"

Asking herself as she didn't even bother to go up her bed to sleep more comfortably up there,

Chaewon covered her face with one of her hands as she gradually lost her grasp over her consciousness making her slip onto dreamland,

Or maybe IZ*LAND.

"Well, I can be sweet enough"
