Nandini walks back inside the hospital, she walks back to Manik's room and sees him still being unconscious. She walks over to him and looks at him remembering everything about him.
She puts her stethoscope down and checks his heartbeat, which was going all normal then she uses her little torch checking his eyes and everything. Nandini was relieved seeing him improving.
She was about to walk out of the room but hears some noises and turns about, it was manik he was awake and was trying to get up.
"Manik how you feeling" Nandini rushes to him, he ignores her and tries to get up from his head
"stop Tum Kya kar rahe ho" she holds his hand preventing him from falling, karan enters the room as well.
"Manik bro tu theek hai?" Karan goes over to him.
Manik tries to get up but he felt immense pain in his back "manik you need to lay down" Nandini starts panicking as this could be risky for him.
She holds his hand tightly and then looks up at karan "karna Kuch karo manik ko samjhao"
Karan looks at manik and tries to hold him "you need to rest" he simply says
"Manik Dekho tumhe shayad Pata nahi hoga but Tum abhi operation se bahar aaye ho jo kaafi waqt tak chala hai, you can not get up" Nandini tells him holding him
"Mein Itni der tak soh raha tha?" Manik asks with his weak voice
"Manik mat karo, can you just listen for once Dammit" Nandini was getting angry now as she moves her hand away from him
"Ahh" manik groans in pain as he tries harder,
Nandini holds him by his arm "look Mein tumhe allow nahi karungi to get up as your doctor" she strictly says
"You're not my doctor" manik looks at her and jerks her hand away, she looks at him and puts her hand on her head in frustration.
"You're so impulsive!" Nandini almost shouts at him, she tries to calm her self down
"Karan, m-mere liye wheelchair y-ya Kuch le kar aao" Manik says in pain
"Lekin manik—"
"GO GET IT!" Manik shouts which makes his pain worse
"Shh" Nandini tries to calm him down as him shouting like this could put him in danger as he got out of a big surgery, Nandini looks at karan "okay go..go"
Karen quickly runs out of the room to get manik a wheelchair, Nandini walks on the other side of manik and tries to hold him.
"All right I'll do it, just calm down" Nandini says, karan brings the wheelchair, both of them help manik on to it.
Nandini completes the formalities and both take him out of the hospital.
"You are getting discharged, aisi bakwaas aaj tak maine nahi dekhi" Nandini looks at manik taunting him, the two of them continue to walk as karan pushes Maniks wheelchair
"Mein apni marzi se jaa raha hu I don't see a problem if you want I'll sign any papers... but for now be careful there's cameras outside"
Nandini rolls her eyes "actually careful humhe tab rehna chahiye jab Tum humare aas paas ho"
Manik looks at her "in that case we need to be careful around you Kyunki tumhare pata Nahi hai ki kab Tum humara kaam bigado gi aur kab humari help karogi" he taunts her.
Nandini ignores him, karan looks at Nandini and tells her to swap places with him, she goes and holds manik's wheelchair and pushes him out of the hospital as the media rushes to him,
Manik was right media would be there "Mr manik how are you doing? Aapko kaisa lag raha hai?" They start asking him
"We mean ki humhe Pata chala hai ki surgery bohot difficult hai so we are surprised seeing you recovered soon" one of the reporter says and holds the mic in front of manik
"My dear wife, I mean my guardian angel saved my life" manik says sarcastically, Nandini rolls her eyes hearing him.
"Well mrs Nandini aapke haathon mein tha to save your husband Aapne Kaise deal kiya with stress" they ask Nandini, she looks up at them
Naina and Ahana were watching from distant.
"I eat gum" Nandini replies sarcastically, manik looks down.
"Anyways what will you do with those people who attacked you? Is there anyone jis par Aap ko shak ho?" One of the other reporter asks
"As you know Meri surgery bohot difficult thi, right now I want to go home with my wife" manik says, Aditya comes there and looks at him with anger in his eyes. He hated Nandini around him because he always worried for her safety, Nandini notices him and smiles at him.
Manik looks up at Nandini waiting for her to push the wheelchair, she realises and pushes it to the car. Karan follows them.
"How are you feeling manik?" Naina comes there, he looks up at her
"Good" he replies coldly
Aditya walks there and manik looks at him "Tum nahi poochonge how I am?" Manik asks him
"I will, but Tumhe jail pochane ke baad waha Aaram se poochunga" aditya replies, Nandini looks at him
"Oh shit I'm so scared" manik mocks him, Aditya was seen getting pissed off and Nandini did not want things to get worse.
"Uhm let's go" she looks at karan, he nods as they help manik sit inside the car.
Nandini looks at Aditya before sitting in the car "take care bhai" she smiles, Aditya who was a little miffed with her does not reply, she sits in the car next to manik and Ahana sits in the front with karan as they drive off.
They reach Maniks house and karan helps him out, manik could walk but he was advised not to for some days and he needed complete rest.
As they enter their house they see someone sitting on the couch with some men surrounding them, manik furrows his eyebrows looking at them.
"Excuse me?" Karan says, the man hears their voice and turns around.
Manik gets shocked seeing him, it was Sahin. Sahin Malhotra. Maniks uncle.
Manik looks at karan angrily, he understood that manik was angry that how did he get in to the house like this.
"All the members were at the hospital taaki Tum waha safe raho" Karan whispers to manik, he looks down. Nandini hears them.
"Sahin uncle!" Ahana runs to him and gives him a hug
"Kaisi ho Ahana?" He asks her, she smiles at him
"I'm fine Lekin aap itne saalon baad dikhe" she asks him, Nandini wonders who is this Sahin uncle and how come manik is not excited to see him if Ahana is.
"Woh—"
"Ahana go to your room!" Manik shouts cutting sahin off, ahana turns and looks at manik
"Par manik, uncle kitne saalon baad aaye hai I want to talk to him" Ahana says
"Did you not hear me? I said go to your room now!" Maniks voice gets louder
Nandini puts her hand on his shoulder "manik calm down tum abhi puri tarah se theek Nahi hue ho"
Sahin looks at Nandini's arm that was on maniks shoulder and smirks "Tum Nandini ho? Manik ki wife" he asks her
Nandini turns her head towards him "y-yes"
"You know what, Tum bhi jao iske saath both of you leave right now!" Manik says angrily, Nandini didn't want him to stress it out even more. She looks at Ahana and signs her to come with her, she listens to Nandini and both of them go to another room.
Sahin walks over to manik "how are you doing beta" he asks him
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" Manik gets angry, karan looks at him.
"I'm sure tumhe itna toh Pata hoga ki badon se ese baat nahi karte" sahin says sarcastically
"Cut the crap out, you don't need to act with me at least" manik looks up with anger filled in his eyes
"Great, Kyunki baaki logon ke saamne acting kar karke thak gaya tha" he says and sits opposite to manik.
"Well socha tumse yahi aa kar milu, Suna hai tumko goli lagi hai"
"Yes some coward jo kudh saamne se vaar nahi kar sakta sent his guys Lekin he doesn't know who he is messing with" manik eyes him
"How dare you!" Sahin gets up in anger
"Maine pehle hi warn kiya tha that stay away from Ahana and Nandini, Lekin Tum yaha pe aa gaye who the fuck do you think you are" Manik tries to get up.
Karan stops him
"Do not forget mein abhi bhi tumhara uncle hu, I am your dads bloody brother!"
"No you are not! Tum sirf ek matlabi insaan ho now get the fuck out of my house before I lose it" manik says and looks away in anger
"And stay away from Nandini! Leave her out of this" Manik continues, karan looks at him giving a little smile he was happy that manik was protecting Nandini and she deserved it the way she took care of manik.
"Oh so Itna gussa Nandini ke liye huh, Shaadi toh ki usko bachane ke liye but looks like you are struggling, ab tumara Yeh haal hai toh who will protect her" sahin laughs
"Nandini is off limits Tum usse Kuch nahi karonge she is my wife!" Manik looks at him
"Woh kudh Apne aap ko iss sab mein laayi hai" he says to manik
"She doesn't know anything, tumhe koi misunderstanding hui hai usne mujhe dekha tha. So leave Nandini out of this I'm warning you agar uss—-"
"Wow look at that, humara manik majnu ban gaya hai for that Nandini... you love her don't you? Warna Itna Tum kisi liye kabhi nahi karte" sahin says, manik looks away he couldn't say this was true nor this was a lie he didn't know what he was feeling for her.
"That is none of your bloody business" manik looks at him, karan looks at sahin in anger he has had enough of his bullshit
"Stop involving other people because Tum kudh Kuch nahi kar sakte, you know what you are a bloody coward.. pehle bhi dusre ko use karke vaar karte hai aur aaj bhi, you haven't changed a bit" manik provokes him
"Tumari himmat Kaise hui" sahin goes and grabs manik's collar but manik does not flinch even a bit.
Manik's members come there and point their guns towards sahin and his members.
Sahin hears it and let's go of Manik's collar looking around as he was surrounded by guns pointing at him
"Don't forget, this is my house you are standing in...so don't even fucking try" manik looks at him
"This is not over manik, Mein tumhe esa barbaad karunga just like how I did with your father" sahin laughs
"Get the fuck out warna ek ishara aur Tum yahi mar diye jaonge" Manik shouts, sahin doesn't say anything and leaves from their as his men follow him out.
Manik looks down, karan goes and steps in front of him "manik ab Kya karenga Tu, this guy he is bloody getting out of hand"
"I need to think of something Lekin usse pehle mujhe Nandini aur Ahana ko safe rakhna padega" manik says
"I will take care of it, you go rest" karan tells him, manik takes a deep breath and nods.
Karan takes his wheelchair in Manik's room, he helps manik and makes him lay down on his bed.
As karan leaves Nandini comes there, she looks at manik laying down but his eyes were open it was like he was thinking something.
"Manik?" Nandini says, manik jumps out of his thoughts and looks at her.
"What do you want" manik says coldly, he was disturbed about his uncle coming here.
"Uhm— mujhe tumhari bandage change karni hai" she says and moves closer to him, he turns his position and lays on his stomach so it was easier for her, She grabs her aid box and sits on his bed next to him, manik looks up at her as she starts doing her work.
"Why didn't you run?" Manik asks her all of the sudden, Nandini stops her hands and looks up at him
"I was tired" she says without thinking
"What?!" Manik makes a weird face and looks at her "are you stupid I meant jab mujhko goli lagi" he adds
"Don't think ki mujhe tumhari care hai issiliye it's because of my oath jo maine liya tha when becoming a doctor" Nandini replies
"Yeah right" Manik rolls his eyes, Nandini continues to clean his wound "jo oath ki baat aati that comes after I was in the hospital you had the chance to leave me dying toh phir tumhe Kyu—"
"Manik Tum Kya sun na chahte ho?" Nandini cuts him off
"The truth" manik says and eyes her
"I could not, Bas nahi jaa paayi" Nandini looks away
"Why?"
"Agar hum question question khel hi rahe hai then let me ask a question.. who is amaya?" Nandini asks all of the sudden
Manik moves away and turns around looking at her "amaya? Where did you meet her?"
"Woh hospital aayi thi tumse milne, Lekin Maine milne Nahi diya Kyunki Tum behosh the" Nandini tells him looking at him
"Okay" is all he says, Nandini turns her head and looks at him with a sharp look
"Is that all you going to say?"
"Toh Tum Kya sun na chahti ho?" Manik asks repeating what Nandini said earlier
"The truth" Nandini says repeating what manik said earlier, manik rolls his eyes.
"And why do you care?" Manik raises his eyebrows at her
"Mujhe koi farak nahi padta like I said, aur tumhe bhi nahi padna chahiye ki why I didn't run etc etc" Nandini tells him
Manik looks at her, he was surprised how she was ready with all the answers and she was not even scared of him which made her more attracted to her somehow.
"Whatever get this shit done and over with mere paas pure fun nahi hai" manik says and turns his back towards her, Nandini shakes her head
She puts a cotton ball on it and puts a bandage on it.
"Waise tumare sahin uncle chale gaye?" Nandini asks him
"He's not my fucking uncle don't say that ever again" manik sits up on his bed, Nandini takes her gloves off.
"Lekin Woh toh yahi keh rahe the.. he must be worried ki Tumko ese—"
Manik stops her by grabbing her arms tightly and pulling her closer to him, their lips almost touch as Nandini moves a little back wincing in pain
"Tumse pehle bhi kaha gaya hai to mind your own business, and rahi baat sahin ke he is not my bloody uncle Tum unko jaanti nahi ho he does not care about anyone" manik says tightening his grip which hurts Nandini.
"Tum sabse itni nafrat Kyu karte ho" Nandini says and looks up at him with tears in her eyes
"Aur sabse zyada Mujhse, what did I do to you" she adds
Manik slowly loosens his grip from her hands and sort of lets her go but Nandini chooses to stay in that position.
"I have my reasons Nandini Tum sahin ko jaanti nahi ho, you don't know what he has done in the past"
"You need to let go of the past, usse pakad ke Tum kisi aur ko nahi sirf apne aap ko takleef de rahe ho" Nandini looks up at him
"Kehna bohot asaan hota hai, you haven't been where I was tumhe shayad ek percent bhi experience nahi kiya hai jo maina kiya hai" manik looks at her, she could see pain in his eyes visibly, it seemed like he went through a lot which was still bottled up inside him
"Mujhe batao not your as wife or your friend Lekin ajnabee hi samajh ke batao" Nandini tells him
Manik looks away "mujhse door raho, warna tumhe mere saath utni hi takleef milegi"
"Don't try to get to know me, mere andar acchai mat dhundo tumhe nahi milegi" Manik adds
Nandini remembers aakeshs words as manik says that, and she also remembers how Sohails daughter came to meet him and told her how manik takes care of her
"Yeh tum mujhe bata rahe ho ya apne aap ko" Nandini looks at him
"Don't Nandini, don't try this Acchai wali bullshit with me it won't phase me" manik looks at her, both of them were still close to her as Nandini continued to be in that position.
"Tum bohot Acchi ho shayad issiliye you see everyone like that Lekin Iss duniya mein sab matlabi hote hai, everyone cares about their own bloody selves"
"That's not true manik, tumhe bhi koi esa milega that will care about you the most, jo tumhe sabse zyada Pyaar karega jo tumhare acchai se aur burai se dono se Pyaar karega" Nandini tells him, manik just stares at her unable to speak anything he was amazed and taken back by her, despite him being so rude to her she wished him good things
"Anyways the bandage is done ill get something for you to eat" Nandini says and was about to get up but manik pulls her back again pulling her even closer then before.
Nandini was surprised by his action, manik put his hand on her cheeks and the other one still holding her arm, both of them shared an eye contact and manik was lost in her eyes.
Manik moved closer and kissed her lips gently, Nandini closed her eyes feeling his lips on hers she did not react. Nandini's lips felt soft on manik's, it felt different to him while this was Nandini's first kiss which is why she was unable to react.
Nandini gave in and kissed him back, both of them moving them in sync as Nandini's other hand automatically comes to his chest.
"Manik?!" They hear a voice as they break their kiss, manik tilts his head to get a view of who was standing there.
Nandini turns her head around and sees Amaya standing there. Nandini was about to stand up but manik was still holding her hand tightly which does not allow her to stand.
Amaya had anger in her eyes.
