Young man made his way through the town, sun was already down and he seemed troubled by something. His metal cane was clicking every time it hit the ground. He was wearing dark green boots that reached half way his calf, his pants were also dark green. And as many could guess his shirt, was also green. He had brown hair that reached up to his ears. His eyes were hidden behind black sunglasses.
Young man turned his head around, looking for something. He then scratched his head before pulling out a piece of paper from his back pocket.
"Ah, great! How am I supposed to buy dust when every shop is closed?! Auntie is going to kill me. But who could know that that coffee would be soooo good!"
He hung his head and made his way forward before he stopped. He looked to his left and there was a dust called "From Dust Till Dawn" that is still open. Boy's eyes widen as a giant, beaming smile made it to his face. He jumped up before running towards it.
"Yes! Auntie won't kill me!"
As he runs them he promises to himself to say thank you to the owner of this shop that helped him. As he was about to enter he saw man wearing black tuxedo fly out of the window, followed by a girl in red hood that was now posing with A GIANT SCYTHE!
Boy's eyes widen and changed to stars as he run up to her and looked at her from all angles. Young girl was confused at what he was doing before he stopped in front of her.
"Wow! While posing like that you look like a huntress! And that scythe! It must be heavy right? But I can see a magazine and barrel! It has a gun mode? Nice, I personally prefer smaller weapons, easier to move around. Oh! What dust rounds are you using!? I can imagine that with barrel this long you could use some dust more then others!"
Boy began to say it all at amazing speeds that only the girl in front of him could understand. Girl smiled and was about to answer but before she could do it she heard thugs come out from the shop. All of them armed in swords and guns, boy's eyes widen before he took a stance next to the girl, holding his cane tightly in his hand. But as another person walked out from the shop, his grip on it loosened.
Roman Torchwick walked out of the shop while smoking his cigar. He looked at the girl first and then at the boy. As he did his eyes widen and cigar fell off his mouth.
"A-Amadeus?"
Amadeus frowned and twirled his cane before pointing it at the crime boss. Roman looked at Amadeus with a sad gaze.
"Is it not too late for you to be here....Sonny?"
Amadeus growled, his smile long gone.
"Why do you care? You left me long ago so it shouldn't matter to you."
Roman's eyes widen slightly before he looked down and nodded slowly.
"Yeah...You are right. Get them, don't beat the boy to much."
Roman took few steps back while thugs charged at Amadeus and girl. One of them swung his sword at Amadeus allowing him to parry it and strike thug under his chin, sending him flying. Behind him, girl took care of the second thug by dropping kicking him and sending him under Roman's legs who sighed and shacked his head.
"You were worth of every cent, you truly were. Well, Amadeus, Red, I think we had quite eventful night. I need to go now so...."
Roman aimed his cane at the two, making Amadeus glare at him even more. Roman looked into Amadeus's eyes and gave him a small smile.
"Go and get good sleep, remember to eat good and to train."
"Why you-?!"
Roman's cane opened it's bottom and he shot out a dust bullet. Their eyes widen as they saw it, Amadeus gripped his cane like a baseball and when the time was right he whacked it, sending it towards the air and exploding like fireworks. When Amadeus looked back to find Roman he saw no one, he cursed slightly before looking around. As girl went to ask the owner if he was alright, Amadeus dashed after Roman when he saw him climbing up nearby building. When he was on the building he saw Roman standing on the edge of building.
"Hey!"
As Amadeus said that, girl from before dashed up the building and land next to Amadeus. Roman sighed and glanced back.
"Persistent..."
Before Amadeus could run towards him, he heard rares of engines. Suddenly bullhead appeared in front of Roman and stayed in air, allowing him to get in. He pulled out a dust crystal and tosses it front of two teenagers.
"End of the line!"
He aims his cane at it and stares at it for few seconds before growling and shooting. Amadeus's eyes widen and not being able to whack it away this time he takes hold of Red and shields her. But as the explosion goes off Amadeus realizes that nothing happen to them. He looks at who protect them and his eyes widen, sweating he lets go of Red.
New lady that protected them from explosion swings her crop towards the bullhead and sends some debris at it. Roman tries to hold on onto bullhead and not fall off. He looks towards pilot seat and shouts.
"We got a Huntress!"
Figure who was piloting bullhead goes to the back leaving Roman piloting. Mysterious woman glares at the huntress and begins to send powerful waves of flames towards them. Amadeus and Red together with Huntress are able to doge all of them. Huntress then uses rest of the debris and creates a giant lance that she sends towards bullhead.
Roman is able to dodge it and then he looks out from the side window. He sees all the chaos that is happening while Huntress and Mysterious Woman duel. And in the middle of this chaos is Amadeus that tries to keep Red safe. Roman frowns and growls before he begins to take off.
As bullhead disappears in the dark night all three people on the roof look towards where it left. Finally it's Red who breaks silence and looks at the blond woman.
"You are a huntress! Can I have your autograph?!"
Huntress sighs and places hand on her face before her face turns to scowl and she swings her crop towards the ladder. She then looks there and glares at Amadeus who tried to sneak out, frozen with purple aura around him.
"And where do you think you are going, mister?!"
All could Amadeus do is chuckle sheepishly.

Currently both Amadeus and Red were sitting in a dark room that had only one light that shone down at the table. Glynda was walking in circles around them while glaring. Red had her head down while Amadeus looked like he was ready to book it from there every second.
"I hope you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, both of you. You two put yourself and others in great danger."
Amadeus looked up at Glynda.
"B-But Auntie-!"
He stopped when Glynda shot a glare towards him and pointed her crop at him.
"No 'buts' mister! You were supposed to be back home at 8 PM! And it's 11 PM Already!"
Amadeus looked back down and scratched his head while Glynda continued.
"If it was up to me, you'd be send home with a pat on the back..."
Red smiled thinking that she will let go but Amadeus shields his head in fear.
"...and slap on the wrist!"
Glynda smacks her crop on the table scaring Red. Glynda then sighs and moves away.
"But, there is someone who wants to talk both of you."
Then the doors open and a man with grey hair walks in carrying a tray. On it were two cups of coffee and a plate of cookies. Amadeus sighs in relief and smiles at the man, now being safe of auntie's wrath. Ozpin places tray on the table and looks at Red.
"Ruby Rose....You, have silver eyes."
Both Ruby and Amadeus raise eyebrow at that. Amadeus knew his uncle was...eccentric but even that was weird. Ozpin then mentions to scroll that Glynda was holding. On it was a video of Amadeus and Ruby fighting off thugs, but main focus was on Ruby.
"So...Where did you learn to do this?"
"S-Signal Academy."
"They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?"
"Well, one teacher in particular."
"I see...."
Ozpin sat down and together with Amadeus took their mugs while Ruby takes one cookies and eats it. Then she quickly devours them all, shocking Amadeus.
"It's just that I've seen only one other scythe wielder of that skill before. A dusty old crow."
"Mmm! Thash muh unkl!"
All raise eyebrow at that before Ruby blushes slightly and swallows cookies that were in her mouth.
"Sorry, that is mine uncle Qrow! He is a teacher at Signal I was a complete garbage before he took me in but now I am all like-Howaaaah! Witchaa!"
She did some karate chops to which Amadeus chuckled and made Ruby sat down and blush from embarrassment.
"So I've noticed. And what is an adorable girl like yourself doing at school designed to train warriors?"
"Well...I want to be a Huntress."
Amadeus smiled at that while sipping some of his coffee.
"You want to slay monsters?"
"Yeah! I have only two years left, training at Signal. And then I am going to apply to Beacon! You see, mine sister is starting there this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become Huntress so I can help people. My parents always taught me to help others, so I thought, 'Hey, I might a well make a career out of it!' I mean the police are alright, but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and really, gosh, you know!"
Glynda looked at Ruby after her little rant and sighed, remembering one boy who did the same. Ozpin also smiled remembering how Amadeus can be after three mugs of coffee in a row. Amadeus smiled towards Ruby and showed thumbs up.
"...Do you know who I am?"
"You're Professor Ozpin. You're the Headmaster of Beacon."
"Hello."
"Nice to meet you."
"You want to come to mine school?"
"More then anything."
Ozpin smiled and glanced at Glynda who 'hmpfed' and then he looked at Amadeus who smiled and nodded.
"Well okay."
Ruby had a giant smile on her face. After few more words she left the room and went home. She was interesting girl that is for sure. Amadeus chuckled before Ozpin fake cough. And now, Amadeus has to face those two. First to say anything was Glynda.
"Are you nuts, young man?! You could get hurt!"
"A-Auntie, please calm down! I had the situation under control!"
"You-!"
Ozpin then lift up his hand stopping Glynda and mentioned to Amadeus.
"Well now, Amadeus, tell us how did you get there and why you weren't home like you promised us."
Amadeus sighed and scratched head, he took a sip of coffee before starting.
"Well, you remember how you got me that list of things that I have to buy before Beacon starts, right? Well, it took me a long time and I couldn't find dust shop later. Then I saw that shop, I wen there and suddenly Ruby flew out of it while drop kicking one of those thugs. Oh! Did you saw her weapon?! She has giant scythe! That is awesome. Anyway, i helped her kicking two other ones but...but then I saw..."
Both Ozpin and Glynda's gaze became sad as they listened to his story. Ozpin sighed.
"You saw him....your father."
Amadeus looked down with sad look and he clenched his hands. Glynda walked around the table and placed her hands on his shoulders.
"Hey, Amadeus. Calm down. There is no point of getting angry. He isn't part of your life anymore. You have me and Ozpin."
"Yes, I know. But...But! He talked to me like he even cared! I was so angry! He left me on mine mother's mercy while playing a criminal!"
He clenched his hands more before sighing and letting go.
"I don't care about him anymore but...it still pains."
He places his sunglasses down and traces horizontal scar that goes over his eyes. His eyes are color of bleached green but now with tears almost falling out, they had color of pale blue. Glynda hugs him with Amadeus hugging back.
"It's okay Amadeus..."
"B-But....It's because of him I am blind..."
He cried quietly while Glynda hugged him. Ozpin himself sighed while looking at him in sadness.
'Even after all those years it pains me to look at crying child...'
