Perniya's POV
We all wake up early so that we can train. I'm starting to get along with these guys. They let me stay over last night as I'm joining them.
'okay, Perniya. You're good with the bow'
Adam says. ' whoever needs help with archery go with Perniya.the rest of you go with Mitch' he orders.
I walk out to the garden with a few of the others following behind us.
'so, I don't know all of your guys' names' I say. 'I'm Laura!' a little girl says.
' Laura! I told you not to come outside' the girl, Kellie says.
'why not? I wanna play!'
'we're not playing. Now go inside' she says. Laura sighs and walks into the house.
' you haven't told her about the squids?' one of the guys ask.
She shakes her head. 'no. Not yet' she mutters.
'Okay.' I say. ' let's get started'
' everyone get a bow and 15 arrows' I say.
They all walk over to a chest and grab a bow and their arrows.
'okay. Ty has set up some.... Beautiful mannequins over there. Thank you Ty' I say. 'what can I say. Im an amazing artist' he praises himself.
'everyone line up,you have to shoot the 'squid' in the head first' I say.
They all line up.
'Try not to ruin my mannequins please. I'm actually very proud of them' Ty says.
They all shoot their bows and hit the mannequins head.
'Nice shot' I congratulate them.
'Now next you have to sh-'
I'm cut off by a scream.
We all exchange worried looks before running towards the screams.
We go to the front garden where the others were training.
Only one guy was left.
'Josh! where are they!?' kellie panics.
'The-the squids... Ryan's with them. I didn't want to be a part of it. They took them' he stutters.
'Well we need to save them!' Ty says.
'Someone needs to stay here with Laura' kellie says.
'Uh.... about your sister...' josh says.
'No' kellie says quietly. 'NO' she shouts this time.
'I'm sorry... I tried to stop them' he says.
'We're leaving. now'
'But we don't have any gear' a girl says. 'Ty. go get gear' kellie says.
He nods and runs into the house.
'Everyone go grab more arrows' I say.
They all come back minutes later.
'Okay. we need a plan' I say.
'No. we need to go now' kellie says.
'We can't just go. they'll be waiting for us' Ty says.
'Let's think of a plan'
Molly's POV
And we're here again.
Great. 'what are you gonna do to us this time?'
'Oh don't worry. you'll soon see'
I sit down on one of the beds.
'Well would you look who it is'
Nikki appears in front of our cells.
'Oh great. it's you' I roll my eyes.
'Miss me?' she smirks.
'Get lost'
'I'd be careful what you say to me if I were you' she says.
'We're not scared of you' Lauren says from her cell.
'Lauren... you wouldn't be here if you'd have just stayed with us' she says.
'I don't care...' Lauren mutters.
'Jason' I hear Laura say. 'where's kellie?'
'She's safe at home' he says.
'Is she coming here?' she asks.
'Hopefully not' he replies.
'It's okay Laura' I say. 'we'll be fine'
'Who are these people?' she asks.
'What?'
'Kellie hasn't told her yet' Jason says.
'They're horrible people' I say. 'they won't touch you. don't worry'
'Tyler. come with us' Ryan walks over to his cell.
'You traitor!' I shout.
'We trusted you'
'Yeah. big mistake' he says before pulling Tyler out of his cell.
'Let him go!' Adam shouts.
He ignores him and pulls Tyler away.
'so anyway' nikki says. 'I would like an apology for last time'
'an apology? You've got to be kidding me' I scoff.
'Molly. Stop talking to her' Mitch says.
'No. She needs to realise that there's is no way that we're apologising' I say.
"yeah. She knows,now be quiet' he says.
' yeah Molly. Listen to your boyfriend' nikki smirks.
'shut your mouth you thirsty b-'
'Molly!' Mitch says.
' fine' I huff.
'What are you gonna do to Tyler?' Megan asks quietly.
'Aaw. it's okay, would you care to join him?' Nikki says.
'Leave her alone' Adam says.
'This has been a nice time catching up and all but I have to go' Nikki says. 'have fun' she walks away.
'You need to be careful of what you say' Mitch warns me.
'I know' I say quietly.
He walks over to sit beside me. 'it'll be okay' he says. 'I guarantee that they're already looking for us'
I rest my head on his shoulder.
'I hope you're right.'
Jason's POV
'I want my sister' Laura sobs.
I pull her into a hug. 'I know you do but you'll see her soon. don't worry'
'What did she not tell me about yet?' she sniffs.
Crap...
'Lets just wait until she tells you. okay?' I say.
She nods.
Alex (A/N: from Ryan's group) walks over to our cell.
'We're gonna need her to come with me' he says.
I immediately pull Laura behind me.
'I don't think so' I say.
'I don't care what you think. she's coming with us' he says.
'No she's not'
He glares at me.
'Fine. we'll just get her later' he smirks and walks away.
There's no way they're taking her.
'Why are they taking us?' Laura asks quietly.
I'm gonna have to tell her...
Otherwise she won't know how to stay safe.
'Jason.' Adam says from him and Alesa's cell. 'just tell her'
I nod before realising that he can't see me.
'Okay' I say. 'I'll tell her'
Kellie's gonna kill me...
Ty's POV
'You could pretend that you wanna join them!' I say finally.
'That's actually a really good idea' Amy says.
'What if they don't believe me?' josh asks.
'We have to at least try. have of us are gone' I say.
It's only me,Josh,Amy,Precious,Perniya,Kellie,Josh,Zach,Steve,Bash,Burt,Tyson and Gizzy.
'Okay. we can try' Josh says.
'Well. are you guys ready?' Perniya asks.
We all nod. 'lets go'
We set off in the direction of the old house since that's near where the squids' hideout is.
Kellie is walking ahead of us to get there as fast as she can.
'Slow down,Kellie' precious says as she catches up to her.
'Nope' she keeps walking at the same pace.
'We'll find them' Precious says 'Just stay calm'
Kellie nods and begins to slow down.
'Okay' she says quietly.
'I see the house!' I say as I spot our old house on the horizon.
'That's my old house...' Perniya says.
'Huh?'
'That's our old house' Bash says.
'Oh yeah!' Perniya says. 'I found the house and no-one was living there so I decided to just stay there'
'That must've been when we moved' Zach says.
We eventually reach the old house and walk towards the ocean.
I look down to see the familiar dim light at the bottom of the sea.
'Ready?'
They all nod.
'Take a deep breath'
Tyler's POV
'What are you gonna do to me?' I ask.
'Simple' Ryan says 'we'll turn you against them. That way we won't have to do any work since you'll kill them for us'
'What!? I'm not gonna kill my friends!' I yell.
'You don't have a choice' he says.
'Besides, by the time we're finished with you... you'll think of them as your enemies, not your friends' he smirks.
'Now get in' he shoves me into a strange machine and locks the door.
He's about to push a button when I stop him. 'wait!'
'What?'
'At least let me talk to them first' I say.'please' I beg.
He sighs. 'fine. but don't try anything funny' he says.
'I promise'
He opens the door and lets me out.
We walk out of the room and towards the others.
'You have a minute' he says and walks off.
'Guys' I run over to everyone's cells.
'Tyler!' Megan says.
I go over to her cell.
'I'm sorry' I say.
'What?' she looks confused.
'I'm sorry for what I'm about to do' I say. Tears fill her eyes.
'No. Tyler please' she nearly whispers.
I get as close as I can to the the bars.
Close enough that I feel our lips connect as she comes closer to me.
I pull away. 'I love you Megan.Stay safe' I say.
The tears begin to run down her face.
'I'm sorry everyone.' I say.
'Tyler. you don't have to do this' Adam says. 'you can overcome it'
'I wish I could' I say.
'If I could do it then you can' Megan says.
'I'll try my best' I say. 'but just try to get out of here before they do anything to you guys'
'Times up' Ryan says from behind me.
'Stay safe' I say and he pulls me towards the room.
'Tyler!' Megan calls my name.
I'm trying my best not to cry.
That's what they want, they want us to suffer.
I'm once again dragged into the room and pushed into a machine.
He starts to press some buttons on the outside of the machine.
A gas leaks into the room.
I feel dizzy.
My vision becomes blurry.
And darkness takes over...
Megan's POV
Tyler walks outside so that he's in front of all of our cells.
Did they change him?
Is he still the same Tyler that I know and love?
'Now...' he says. 'who to kill first?...'
