Isadora woke to Aro singing an old Greek song in her ear. She opened her eyes as he sang the chorus
"Good morning my darling." he said kissing her cheek after the song ended. She smiled and hugged him.
"Morning." she said.
"Alright Mia cara, go get ready. We have the whole day ahead of us and I intend on making the most of it."
"Clothing style?" she asked
"I went out and got you something." Aro said, passing her a box. She smiled while rolling her eyes playfully.
"Aro, you didn't have to."
"I know that, but I wanted to and you will love it. Alice told me so." he responded.
Isadora opened the box and gasped.
"Aro. These are beautiful. Thank you so much." she said and kissed his cheek
"That isn't all, my sweetheart." he said and moved behind her and out something around her neck.
^Not my shop, but they look amazing (also I found this picture on Pinterest, just like all other pictures used in this book. <3)^
"This is too much Aro." Isadora protested, but he shrugged her off.
"Really? This was quite cheap. Besides, you own very little jewellery. I'm sure Caius will get you more pricier trinkets. he has bad retail therapy." Aro explained with a chuckle. Isadora couldn't help but smile.
"Well, it is a beautiful necklace. Thank you, love." she smiled. He kissed her cheek and watched as she went into the bathroom. When she came back, Aro grinned like the Cheshire cat.
He wore his usual black suit with half of his hair tied back, he also had a cane resting on the floor, Isadora immediately thought of Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter books.
"You look absolutely stunning, my butterfly."
"Thank you. You look very handsome." she complimented he took her hand
"Well, I try, mia amore." Aro chuckled.
As they walked past the guards, they bowed their heads in respect. Carlisle hugged his daughter.
"You two have a good day. Aro, feel free to spoil her rotten."
"Oh I will." he said, holding her close to him. Isadora blushed furiously.
"Come on Mia cara. Our day awaits." Aro kissed her cheek and lead her to a car.
He opened the door for her and waited until she was in before closing it. He then sped into the drivers side. Isadora jumped at his sudden appearance.
"You'd think after eleven years that I'd be used to Vampires speeding." she sighed, making Aro chuckle.
"Don't worry, amore. One day you will have the ability to do this." he said before driving off, holding her hand in his.
Aro drove nothing like her siblings. He wasn't speeding. Normally she is flying around the back of the car.
"Perhaps I should tell your siblings to be more careful with you when driving." Aro suggested.
'How did he... Oh he is holding my hand. Hi Aro.'
Aro chuckled.
"Hello my beautiful treasure."
"Sorry, my thoughts must be driving you crazy." she said.
"Not at all. I like to hear what is going on in that pretty head of yours." he smiled as Isadora blushed.
After three hours of driving, Aro lead her to Seattle. He opened the door for her and they headed into a theatre.
"Your sisters mentioned that you like this musical. Les Miserables. So I thought you would like this." Aro said, kissing her hand
"Thank you Aro. This is amazing." she smiled and kissed his cheek.
"You are most certainly welcome, my darling."
Throughout the show, Aro stared at Isadora. He studied her reactions, how she smiled, cried and glared.
After the show, Aro and her walked back to the car as she thanked him a million times.
Aro took her around seattle, showing her historic sights. She loved it all. She took pictures of all of the things she found interesting. Aro took pictures of her and a nice old couple took a lovely photo of them. Isadora and Aro thanked them.
"One more place then we will head back to your house." he said, giving her his Jacket as the autumn wind was making her cold. He wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her cheek as they walked back to the car.
Aro drove them to a restaurant. He opened Isadoras door and helped her out and held her hand. He handed the keys to the valet and they went inside.
"Good evening Sir, Madame. Have you made reservations?" A waiter asked, winking at Isadora.
"Yes. The Volturi suite it is under Mr and Mrs. Volturi." he answered. The man paled as Isadora gushed. Mr and Mrs. Volturi. It sounded so right.
"Right this way Mr. Volturi." he said.
Aro put his hand on Isadora's lower back as they walked to their table. It was quite far away from the other people eating, in a private room.
The man placed a menus down and left them alone. Aro took his jacket off Isadora and placed it on a coat hanger and pulled out a chair for Dora. Once she was sat, he pushed her in them sat down.
"You own this place?" she asked. Aro chuckled
"Yes, though I can't say that those people will make it home tonight." he replied.
"You have vampires working here?"
"Yes. Loyal guards, though we employ humans. That insolent waiter is new. He also is my blood singer." he said as a vampire came in.
"Hello Master Aro, it is wonderful to see you again 209 years is far too long. This must be your mate that Master Caius was telling me about." she bowed to me
"My Queen." she acknowledged. Isadora smiled
"Naomi, it is lovely to see you as well, my dear. Mia Cara, this is Naomi Volturi. She has been a member of the Volturi for 900 years. She was part of the guard, but yearned to be away from Volterra after her mate was killed." Aro explained. Isadora smiled sadly
"I'm so sorry for you're loss" Isadora said sadly
"Thank you my Queen. Now I'll get you the best food here and to drink?"
"A glass of white wine for your queen and ill have that human who brought us here." Aro said. Isadora was confused as to why he ordered her a wine.
Once Naomi went away, Aro smiled at Isadora.
"Aro, darling. I'm 17."
"I know, but it is only one glass." Aro smiled and kissed her hand.
Naomi returned with two glasses. She placed Aro's down gently. They thanked Naomi and she sped off.
"Today has been great Aro. Thank you so much."
"No need to thank me, Piccola. Besides I wanted to spoil you a little." he said before sipping the blood of their previous waiter.
A few moments later, Naomi reappeared with lasagne and left.
Isadora ate around half of the Lasagne before being full up. Just as they stood up to go, a Vampire came in
"Master Aro." a vampire bowed, then looked to Isadora. His eyes darkened as he ran towards her, but Aro was faster.
He took his hand and seen that Isadora is his singer.
"Isadora, darling look away." he ordered in a tone she had never heard. Isadora faced the other way and heard cracking then a pop.
Aro walked to the fire place and threw his head and body in it before speeding to Isadora.
"Are you alright il Mia tesoro?" Aro asked, checking her for any injuries.
"I'm fine. You were faster than him." she said as Aro hugged her tightly.
"I am so sorry my darling. I'm sorry that he ruined our night." Aro said. Isadora looked into his eyes.
"He didn't. Nothing could ruin this for me." she smiled.
"Really?" Aro asked. She nodded
"Today has almost been perfect." Isadora grinned.
"Almost?" Aro asked. Isadora nodded and moved her face closer to his. Aro pulled her close as their lips connected.
Bliss. That is all that Aro felt. Pure bliss. Having the first kiss from his mate was the best feeling in the world.
Aro smiled as she pulled away. She was a blushing mess.
"That was amazing Mia angelo. (my angel)" Aro said with a big grin and pecked her lips again.
Aro helped her put on his coat before they walked out to the car.
"I hope you don't mind my sweet, but I messaged Demitri to drive us back to your house. That vampire has put me on edge. I'm keeping you in my arms all night until I know Caius has you in his." Aro said as he pushed a strand of hair behind her ear as she cuddled him.
"I'm not protesting." she sighed happily as Demitri pulled up.
Aro opened the door for his mate, who slid in before Aro. He sat beside her and wrapped his arm around her. He kissed the top of her head as she let out a small yawn.
As Demitri drove, Aro and Isadora were having a quiet conversation when Aro noticed her playing with his fingers.
"Are you alright mi amore?" he asked
She blushed. She was getting sleepy and was slipping into her little space.
"mmm hmm" she nodded.
"It's alright Principessa, you can be little." Aro smiled at her.
"Otay. Fank ou Awo" she giggled. Aro kissed her head as little Isadora took over and began to speak.
Aro liked seeing this side to his mate. So innocent and sweet. She began to yawn every thirty seconds, so Aro moved her into a comfortable position and told her to close her eyes and sleep.
Once her heart rate and breath evened out, Aro spoke to Demitri.
"You will tell no one about this unless Marcus or Caius ask you about what you heard."
"Of course, Master." Demitri said.
Once back in Forks, Aro carried her inside. Esme took her off Aro and told him she will put her pyjamas on her. Aro thanked Esme and sped upstairs. He walked in and seen Marcus and Caius making out on a chair.
"I love you both, but really?" Aro asked.
If they could blush, they would be redder than a rose.
"Are you jealous Aro? No kisses for you today?" Caius teased. Aro chuckled.
"On the contrary il mio tesoro. Isadora and I shared a blissful kiss before coming back to Forks." Aro boasted.
"Oh." is all Caius could reply with. Marcus chuckled.
"Now il mio amore, are my kisses not enough?" Marcus teased.
"They are. I just wanted to have Isadora's kiss first." Caius pouted.
"Well she might kiss you tomorrow. If she thinks you are worthy of her soft strawberry lips." Aro smiled as he kisses Caius' neck.
Esme brought Isadora in and placed her on the bed.
"Thank you, dear." Aro said to Esme, who smiled at the Kings. Caius moved to be beside Isadora, who unconsciously moved closer to him. He kissed her head.
"I love you my darling." he whispered
