The scene was chaotic. Flames gushing from the building, sirens blazing all around...
Bucky's eyes just stayed on Her. He noticed that she had a smirk on her face as she cocked her head, eying him.
"Something's changed." Glacier said.
"What about Sara?" Bucky asked.
Glacier cocked her head to the other side and narrowed her eyes. He made sure to keep his eyes on her at all times, almost willing Katie to fight and to come back out.
"What about her?" Glacier asked.
"Is she..." Bucky sighed.
She raised her left eyebrow and gave a smug smirk. Glacier took a step forward and placed her hand on Bucky's chest, right above his heart.
She didn't feel the same...
He let out a frustrated growl as she looked up into his eyes.
God, she isn't Katie. It's not the same feeling. He needed HER back.
"Did you...?" She asked, giving an approving nod as she backed away.
Bucky just kept his eyes on Glacier, willing Katie to fight to come out. Glacier gave him an approving nod and nodded her head.
"Go, Katie." Glacier said.
Bucky cocked his head and raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Glacier said. "She was never that confident...not even with Tommy Donnelly."
"Tommy?" Bucky asked.
Glacier gave a laugh and cocked her head back to the left.
"Another story for another day." Glacier said. "Back to..."
"What happened here?" Bucky asked.
Glacier stepped past him and looked at the building, the level that was once Katie's home. She saw the flames, the flashing lights...what a familiar sight. She couldn't help but glare as she let the ice blades form in her hands. She knew what HE had done.
"This is a message to Katie." Glacier said. "It's kind of a calling card from John...to let her know that he's always watching."
She crossed her arms over her chest and spun on her heel to look at Bucky, frost and snow swarming around her.
"His way of staking his claim..." Glacier hissed.
Bucky's jaw clenched, his thoughts only on Katie.
"Sara..." Bucky said. "Is she..."
Glacier gave a grimace at the name of Sara...
God, she hated her...
Bucky noticed her change in demeanor and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Animosity?" Bucky asked.
Glacier clenched her jaw and stared, hard at him.
"Sara always thought she was better than Katie." Sara said. "Katie never saw the pettiness in her, the jealousy..."
Glacier clenched her eyes shut and sucked the cold air in her lungs. Fire crews rushed past them, and Bucky looked at the flames raging in the building.
"Katie's never gonna forgive herself..." Bucky started, only wanting to know her as her true self.
Glacier looked from the flames and then Bucky, rolling her eyes.
God, Katie really can find them...at least he TRIES to be a good man.
"Sara was pulled out." Glacier said. "In surgery for severe burns. Again...part of John's...calling card. He always left someone she cared about to survive."
Bucky gave a sigh and turned to face her, but Glacier was staring at him with a serious intensity. She raised her blades and rushed over to Bucky, forcefully placing one against his neck. Bucky didn't want to fight back as he felt the freezing temperature against his artery.
"I swear, if you don't take her back to the compound like I originally asked..." Glacier initiated. "And I am not asking...I am demanding."
Bucky searched her eyes for any deception, but could find none. She was genuinely scared.
"She is in danger...John DEFINITELY did this" Glacier let out. "That means her father is close by."
Bucky narrowed his eyes and his brows furrowed.
"You don't have to tell me twice." Bucky said, clenching his fists. "I will do anything to protect her."
Before she attempted to step back to bring Katie to the forefront, Glacier genuinely looked at Bucky.
Something was different with her thoughts.
"She told you about her past, didn't she?" Glacier asked.
Bucky's eyes went wide as he looked at her.
That's when it dawned on her...
"And..." Glacier whispered, as in pure disbelief.
That's when her eyes went from their pure white to Katie's beautiful aqua blue.
The most expressive eyes and the most beautiful he had ever seen.
"Doll...?" Bucky whispered.
"She actually brought you to the Brothers?" Glacier asked.
Bucky's breath caught in his chest as her features gracefully started becoming HER again. The white hair was flowing back into her black and red luscious locks. Her purple lips were becoming her vibrant, blood red vivacious and plump lips. Her facial features started to soften as the cold finally dissipated...the warmth of her body returning to her.
Those damn white eyes became those beautiful crystal aqua blues...
"Doc." Bucky said.
Katie wobbled on her feet, and he rushed over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist to steady her. She let out a weak breath and brought her arms to Bucky's shoulders.
"Bucky?" Katie asked.
Bucky let out a relieved sigh and drew her in, as tight as he could. His lips crashed on to hers like he was a moth to a flame. Her arms wrapping around his neck to tether him to her body...both not wanting to let go.

John was watching everything from a dark alley across the street. He was a little upset that Sara had survived, but...he could use that his advantage.
Leverage.
It was when he saw that icicle bitch appear. If it didn't harm Katie, He would use one of those ice daggers and just plunge it through her heart.
All he wanted was Katie.
He had big plans for her. Her power would come in handy, yes but...something more, something BIGGER was the in the works. He had to make sure everything was perfect.
The Winter Soldier was proving to be an unexpected challenge. John still had to figure out a way to gain access to her at the Avengers Campus but...whenever he saw her out with The Soldier? John hated how easily she smiled with him. How she could so naturally lean into his touch.
That WILL be me.
John was watching the scene unfold and almost waited for Glacier to abruptly disappear and leave Katie in a weak mess. He always loved it when she weakly fell in his arms after an episode, and he could do with her what he wanted. He gave a smirk at his memories and glanced at the Soldier and...saw something that he had never seen before. It was almost as if Glacier and Katie were gaining control together. There was no icy blast, no winter storm...it was a gradual change. Glacier and Katie eased back into each other.
"Fuck..." John whispered, stepping back in the shadows.

Katie held onto Bucky's strong arms as she tried to regain the strength in her legs. The kiss was blinding, carnal...
"I've got you." Bucky firmly stated, his metal arm wrapping around her waist.
Katie placed her hand on her forehead and looked into Bucky's eyes. He had that sideways smirk on and Katie couldn't help but give a chuckle.
"Your ego must be loving this..." She said with a blush forming on her cheeks.
"No." Bucky said. "Not at all, Doll."
Katie smiled, but then the events of the night finally dawned on her. Bucky noticed the panic in her eyes and held his grip tighter around her waist.
"What?" Bucky asked.
"She let me see..." Katie whispered.
"What?" Bucky asked.
"She let me see." Katie stated. "Usually when she takes over, I go to sleep. But just now?"
Bucky thought about her eyes turning from that pure white to her gorgeous aqua and he saw the warmth in them.
There could be a way to control Glacier. All Katie has to do is control her.
She looked at the burning building and panic started rising even more in her chest.
"Sara..." Katie started.
"She's at the hospital." Bucky said. "I don't know about her boyfriend..."
"We have to go." She stated, turning on her heel to head to the car.
Bucky took a deep breath and nodded his head. He took out his phone and made sure to send a text.
"What are you doing?" Katie asked.
"We need help with this." Bucky said. "If this was John...we need all the help we can get."
