Billy sat with a confused look on his face, still not being able to believe it. The way Pamela had gone out all the way to try and seduce him, marveled him actually. He never thought she would go that far. He was stunned. Now he peacefully studied her sleeping form over on the bed on the opposite side of the room.

He'd covered her in a blanket, so all he could see of her now was her auburn hair spilling out on the big pillow. And a lot of hair it was, and it was glorious.

But it was the ONLY thing about her that was glorious. 'The only thing.'

He drew his hand through his hair and breathed out a heavy sigh as he closed his eyes for a second.

Then he turned his head to Ryan and gave him a scowl.

"Oh shit! I really should feel bad about this,  huh?" Billy said with a hushed voice and shook his head. His gaze was still on Pamela, "But I don't. How come?"

Ryan raised his brows in an amused stare back at him. He slowly turned his head. The sight of Pamela lying on the bed was strangely enough giving him an uncanny feeling of satisfaction.

"Because it was about bloody time you shut this lady up. You know how she has been getting on our nerves for quite a while now!"

Billy rubbed his forehead, giving Ryan a worried look.

"Yes, but tricking her into taking a valium like this, that's just . . . I don't know. She had been drinking, I know 'cause I could smell that on her breath. What if she . . ?"

"Come on, she's just sleeping, Billy, " Ryan chuckled, giving Billy an reassuring grin as he motioned at her, "And she will be for quite a while now. Even if she thought the drink had an odd taste, she will not remember it tomorrow anyway."

The corner of Billy's mouth twitched and he gave his friend an appreciative gaze. He was not used to have a bad conscience, especially not when Pamela was concerned. The woman had it coming to her. He was surprised how far he had actually allowed it to go. Well, not really, he wasn't surprised at all.

He could see Ryan gloat at the whole situation. Because Ryan had warned him not to encourage Pamela, multiple warnings he had decided to NOT take seriously. Now, in hindsight, he regretted that with all of his heart.

Sure she was beautiful; no question about that, but her sinister ways and her scheming personality was something Billy could do without.

He rolled his eyes at himself and took a deep breather  as his thoughts went astray to that god awful day about a year ago , when he against better judgment, and Ryan's warnings, had taken Pamela on a date.

That date had quickly turned into; her, snaking her way into his pants, and from there it was pretty much a total fuck up on his behalf.

Pamela had come, she had seen and she had concurred!  Like a bloody roman.

And with her came her family. Stupid brothers and a mean father.

Billy knew that his face and the body of his made it almost embarrassingly easy for him to find female company. But somehow, at least most of the time, it attracted the wrong type of women. For him and HIS family!

"Well?" Ryan said with a quizzical stare, "Aren't you going to go? Don't you think I can handle Pamela here alone?" He raised his brows to make sure that Billy knew that he in fact could. It was old news to him. "Cassandra will not wait forever. Now get going, or maybe you want ME to take care of her?"

He gave Billy a wicked smirk.

At once he had an index finger pointing him straight in the face.

"Watch it Ryan!"  Billy's eyes flashed as he put on his leatherjacket, "Never, not even in your wildest dreams I would let you do that."

Ryan laughed heartily and patted his hand on Billy's shoulder.

"Man, you really are your father's son, aren't you?"

Billy halted for a second and scowled at him. He folded his arms over his chest and there was a brief silence before he spoke.

"I really don't know if I should be proud or offended by that . . . "

"I would pick proud if I were you, " Ryan snickered and gave Billy a friendly nudge onwards, "Now get going!"

He saw her long before he even parked his bike at the parking lot. She was standing on the balcony, looking towards the beach and the wind was playing in her hair, making it swirl around her head and her face.

He sighed deeply and he consumed her whole being as he took off his helmet and hung it over the handle bars. With a swift move he clambered off the bike and started to walk towards the entrance.

God, she was so beautiful. Both inside and out.

As he took the stairs two steps at a time, he smiled with awareness.  Never before had he looked at a woman the way he now looked at Cassandra. It was both scary and refreshing at the same time. Most of all scary.

As he finally stood in front of the door, he had to calm himself down a couple of notches in order not to break it down in the process of knocking on it.

A few seconds later the door opened and again he stood face to face with Cassandra.

She gave him a shy smile and a silent giggle fled her lips.

"You know you still have the key, right?" she said humbly.

"Yeah , I know, " Billy said and held it up in front of her, it was dangling between his thumb and index finger, then he with slow steps walked forward, making her back her way inside the apartment, " I just wanted to be polite and show you that I do have manners, after all. "

Cassie gazed into his dark and dangerous eyes as she kept on walking backwards. They shined like black diamonds and she thought they were the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen. Suddenly she felt her back connect with a wall, and she could see Billy's face lid up in a mischievous and sly smirk.

She bit her lip softly and looked down into the floor as he got closer.

"We are not alone Billy!"

He stopped dead in his tracks.

"WHAT?" he hissed as the smirk he had on his face disappeared. "Who the fuck . . .?"

Before he could finish that sentence, he heard a familiar voice coming from behind.

"Hello Billy!"

Billy killed yet another curse as he pushed away slightly from Cassie and turned around.

"Theo, " he said with clenched teeth, "What the hell are you doing here?"

Cassie's eyes flew wide open and she gazed with a stunned expression at Billy, then at Theo who stood there with a glass in his hand. She would imagine him being furious at the way he had been spoken to, but to her surprise he was calm as ever. He just smiled an apologetic smile at Billy and shrugged his shoulders a little.

"Ryan gave me a call, " he explained, "He told me to come over here . . .and well, now I know the reason for that."

Billy blinked and gave Theo a puzzled look.

"You took your own plane?"

Cassie gasped.  What? Are you shittin' me? He's got his own plane?

"Yes, I did! " Theo said, a sly smile over his lips.

She couldn't believe it. Her boss wasn't just a handsome and rich man  . . . he was a handsome and stinking rich man!  Having his own plane meant that he probably had more than a shitload of money stuck up his a. . .

Now Cassie really knew he lived in a different world compared to hers.

Theo put an arm around Billy and they turned around and walked into the living room.

"Before you two got back from the airport, Ryan actually heard her make some threats, " Theo said and gradually lowered his voice so that Cassie would not hear, "It would be a BIG problem to have her around here now. "

"She made threats?" Billy was appalled.

Theo nodded.

"Oh shit!" Billy sighed and rubbed his forehead with vexation, "I cannot say that I am surprised . . . "

Theo rolled his eyes.

"No, considering where she comes from . . ."

Billy's eyes turned dark.

"Do I have to tell you I told you so?" Theo almost snickered, still keeping his voice low.

Billy gritted his teeth. "NO, you don't!"

Billy started pacing back and forth in the room, muttering under his breath.

"Well, she's my liability. I have to . . ."

"No, she's not, " Theo interrupted him, "She has never been your liability, and she is not going to become it."

Billy stopped his pacing and gave Theo a puzzled look.

"It's not your fault her brother got killed, " Theo continued, "And it was remarkable bad timing that he was when patching into your club."

Billy rubbed his temples and sighed heavily.

"Actually he was never any concern of mine. He was an idiot, we all knew that.  It's the rest of the family I am concerned about."

Theo nodded.

"I know! That's why she will come with me back to the mainland. ."

Billy laughed halfheartedly and gave Theo a wry grin.

"Good luck with that."

The smug smile he got back from Theo was honest to god a big surprise to him, and he shrugged his shoulders a little.

"What?"  Okay he knew his father pretty well he thought, but this was one hell of a batty lady they were dealing with here?

"You know that I have my ways of persuasion, " Theo told him, the menacing undertone very palpable.

Yes, Billy knew about that. He had learned from the very best.

He also knew that it meant that he could deal with the rotten bunch once and for all. During the year Pamela had been inside the club, he knew that she had fed them with details regarding the company, and he had said nothing, because when it was like that, he could control what information she fed them.

He laughed yet again and gave Theo a nod.

This was actually a very good excuse for him to end that sorrowful relationship.

"Yes! You do have your ways,  and right now, that's good!"

Theo glanced over his shoulder at Cassie who was still standing in the hallway looking more or less like a lost puppy, he turned his head back and put his arms around Billy's shoulder one more time, squeezing it slightly.

"Son, " he whispered, "Just don't tell Cassandra about those people and what you are about to do, don't let her see that side of you. I can see that she likes you a lot, and I bet you want to keep it that way?"

Billy straightened his back as he too threw a glance back at her.

Hell yeah, he wanted to keep it that way.

But he didn't want her to just like him; he wanted her to LOVE him with all of her heart. He had almost been afraid to admit it to himself, but now he finally knew what he really wanted.

He wanted her, her heart and her soul, and he wanted her for life.

Too damn bad she was already married.

Billy pressed his lips hard together and he clenched his fist as he allowed the bitter feeling of jealousy flood his system, and knowing all but too well that he could not allow himself to act upon his desire to slug the douchebag of a husband to kingdom come, he bit it back with a dissatisfied grunt.

But God how satisfying that would be.

Just thinking about it made a devilish smile to appear in his face.

He was aware that Theo studied every single breath he was taking now, given the conversation between them, and he turned his head to give him a reassuring smile, not the devil grin he had on just a second ago.

"Yes, " he said, his voice hushed, "Of course I want to keep it that way."

Theo raised his brows in a questioning manner.

"So?"

Billy gave Theo a scowl and a shrug.

"What?" He wasn't sure he was following right now. The mere thought of Cassandra or anything regarding her was making him unable to think straight.

Theo gave him a stern gaze.

"What was I saying?"

Billy took a second to breathe, then he rolled his eyes.

"Oh yeah! Sure, I won't do it. I promise. Okay?"

Theo pinned his eyes to him and the stern gaze he had got even more so.

"I want to hear you say it."

Billy's eyes darkened and he clenched his teeth hissing:

"Who do you think I am, really? Of course I won't let her see that side of me."

Then next second both of them froze as they heard a soft voice coming from behind them.

"What side of you ?"
