Nandini notices him walking towards her and starts running with tears still rolling down her cheek
Manik quickly runs out of the room following Nandini, as the other members follow him including karan.
Before Nandini could go down the stairs manik catches up to her and holds her hand stopping her with force, he twirls her around bring her close to him. Nandini breathes heavily with tears on her cheek as she continues to cry.
"What the fuck are you doing here?!" Manik shouts in her face, Nandini sobs and looks up to him, her breathing gets heavier
"Tumne sohail ko maar diya HOW COULD YOU!" Nandini shouts looking at him still crying.
"You never mind your own fucking business don't you Dr Nandini Murthy" manik spats. Nandini looks away
"Why did you kill him" Nandini looks at him angrily, manik let's go of her hand pushing her away, karan walks up to manik and stands next to him worrying as Nandini as seen everything.
"Mujhe nahi lagta ki I need to give you an answer" manik says sarcastically
Nandini wipes her tears and looks at him with confidence "right but police ko toh dena padega"
Nandini says and turns around about to leave, but she stops as she hears a voice, a familiar voice. Nandini's expressions changes, she turns around and looks at manik and then the phone he was holding.
She carefully looks at the video, it was a video of Naina from her college, by the looks of it was from today as she was wearing the same t-shirt.
"Naina" Nandini whispers and looks at it shocked, manik smiles evilly
"Correct, Naina Murthy your sister right?" Manik smirks
"How dare you! You are keeping an eye on my sister" Nandini gets angry
"No no.. not just your sister tumhara bhai senior officer aditya Murthy jo abhi shimla ke liye nikla hai in the flight right now" manik says confidently, Nandini was shocked as he knew so much about her and her family
"He has landed" karan corrects him smiling, Nandini looks at him angrily
Nandini takes her phone out, she quickly tries to call up Naina hoping she would pick up quickly so Nandini could warn her but manik angrily takes her phone away and throws it on the floor
"Don't even fucking think about it" he grits his teeth in anger.
"correct me if I'm wrong Dr Nandini, tumhare parents ki death ho gayi hai, you live with your brother aditya and sister Naina. Naina toh abhi bhi college mein hai, last year of college Huh. Big girl. And she wants to be a physiotherapist right also your brother aditya he is trying so hard to get after us right but we are giving him a hard time" manik narrates.
Nandini was taken back, he knew everything as in everything about her it's like he was watching her life this whole time. She was confused how he found out so much about her.
"Shocked?" Manik asks, Nandini looks at him "h-how, tumhe yeh sab kaise Pata hai" she asks
"Good question." Karan says and looks at Nandini
"Jo humare kaam mein interfere karta hai we get them out of the way like this" karan continues
"Matlab Tum logon ne hi pehle sohail ko maara tha" Nandini asks
Manik moves closer to her, he puts his hand out and moves the hair across from her hair "very smart" manik notes under his breath
Nandini pushes his hand away "don't touch me!" shouting
Nandini was helpless right now, this floor was a private floor hardly anyone used to come here this floor only had two rooms. Nandini was hoping someone could come and save her.
"You can stop me, but the cameras they must have caught everything" Nandini says looking up
"Camera shittt" manik looks at karan, raising his eyebrows
"As far as I heard cameras mein koi glitch thi na?" Manik continues, Nandini eyes him and then karan waiting for him to reply
"Yes so they are off, anymore questions Nandini?" Karan laughs. Nandini looks always helplessly.
"You have constantly been interfering with our work, pehle sohail ko waha se bacha ke yaha pe laayi, you cured him which he didn't deserve"
"You don't decide ki kon Kya deserve karta hai you're not some god" Nandini interrupts manik
Manik ignores her "and then you fucking raised the security here making it hard for us, oh and how can I forgot your smart mouth, kitna bolti ho" manik says,
Nandini rolls her eyes.
"You—"
"Tumhare paas do choices hai actually do conditions" manik cuts her off, Nandini looks at him confused
"Funny. Mein tumhari baatein nahi sun ne wali" Nandini looks at him and crosses her eyes
"Fuck, you're so difficult" manik says and pulls out the phone again, and shows her a live video this time of someone following Naina, Nandini got worried.
"No! Tum Naina ko Kuch nahi karonge" Nandini says worryingly
"Good now listen to me without fucking interrupting me or tumhe Pata hai ki just one call away aur Naina bhi tumhare maa baap ke paas" Manik says arrogantly
Nandini waits for him to speak "first condition is Tum duniya ke saamne aur sohail ki family ke saamne yahi kahonge ki his death was because you guys could not save him and uske zakhm bohot zyada the" manik tells her, Nandini closes her eyes in frustration.
She didn't know how to get herself out of this, she didn't want Naina or aditya to get hurt, they were her life. She knew that only way to keep them safe and out of this was to listen to manik although she wishes there was another way.
"Th-that's not right mein esa nahi kar sakti" Nandini hesitates
"You don't have a fucking choice!" Manik shouts
"And the second condition" manik takes a deep breath "you will need to get married to me"
"WHAT?!" Nandini shouts, she could not believe what manik was saying, him thinking about marrying her was so out of plot and line. Karan looks at him shocked, he knew that was not part of the plan he didn't know what manik was doing.
"Don't shout. You heard me, tumhe mujhse shaadi karni padegi like I said tumhare paas koi choice nahi hai" manik says
"Have you lost it" Nandini says angrily
"Manik, yeh Kya kar rahe ho Tum? Shaadi with her she's going to be a trouble for us" karan tells manik, he looks down
"Humara plan yeh tha ki hum isko maar denge" karan says, Nandini looks at him shocked
"Change of plans karan" manik looks at karan and gives a suspicious smile
"Why, Kyun mujhe shaadi karna chahte ho. You don't know my brother Woh tumhe maar denga, a-aur Kya milega isse tumko" Nandini asks him as her breathing gets rapid
"Because I have realised ki threatening to kill you won't effect you, tumhe koi farak nahi padta Tum Kuch bhi karogi to go against me, so you leave me no choice tumse shaadi karke Mein tumhe control karunga and make sure you don't fucking get in our way ever again" manik tells his plan.
He was not wrong, Nandini did not care about herself but she did care about others lives and that's the only thing which would stop her.
"You guys are evil" Nandini Spats at them
"Tell us about it" manik instantly replies, Nandini looks away, he really left her with no choice.
"So marry me or apni behen ko kabhi nahi dekh paongi" manik shows his phone indicating the person following Naina.
Nandini looks at him and takes a deep breath, she thinks about Naina and she knew she could not think about losing her at all, but getting married to manik who had just killed a man in front of him it was like experiencing hell. She at the end of the day had no choice.
"Okay" Nandini says with a heavy heart "but mujhe guarantee chahiye ki Naina safe hogi"
"A deal is a deal" manik says ensuring her that Naina will be safe if Nandini agrees.
'Chahe jo bhi ho jaye I will not marry a man like you,
Mein Bas abhi ke liye Haan bol rahi hu jaise yaha se niklungi I will call up bhai aur sab Kuch sort ho jayega aur Tum jail mein honge' Nandini says in her head looking at manik with anger and hatred in her eyes.
Nandini looks down as a tear rolls down her cheeks, her life was about to change completely.
"Let's go" manik looks at Nandini, she furrows her eyebrows "where?" She asks him
"Don't ask any questions" he gives her a sharp look, Nandini tries to control her anger
"Clean all the mess up inside and keep sohail there like he was before" manik instructs his guys
"And do it fucking properly this time" manik adds referring back to their old mistake
"Okay boss" they say and leave.
Manik looks at Nandini and signs her to follow him, they turn around And As they were about to leave, Nandini's eyes stop on Sohail's sister and daughter coming up the stairs, Nandini's heart beat started raising.
She sees sohails daughter coming up with a huge smile on her face, Nandini looks at her and it felt like her heart broke in to million pieces, she can't handle this, she was scared to face her questions knowing sohail has died and she could not do anything about it. She knew his daughter was so hopeful about her father getting back on his feet again, she is only 4 but she understood a lot. Nandini didn't know how to face all this.
Nandini looks down crying, manik looks at her having no expressions on his face as nothing about this effected him not even a slight bit.
"Papa" sohails daughter runs over to nandini cheerfully.
Nandini felt numb and heartbroken.
