Every once in a while, I remember that sword fight.
Standing upon a barren hill of swords, two empty souls fighting for fractured ideals. That clash of reality and ideals meant everything to me, and though I wavered before my own truth, I was able to grasp it; taking a hold of these ideals close to my heart, I resolved myself to live a life for the salvation for others.
And so here I am, at the Clocktower, with the love of my life. In this place, among other magi I can hone my skills to save people. I am here to change the fact that following this ideal means I can only save ideals. I don't want to see anyone cry before my eyes, and for that reason I remain in this place where I will grow into a person capable of saving everything I want to save. And then I will drag my broken corpse to a paradise that Archer failed to create. A paradise where everyone can be happy, and no one will have to lose anything.
