We all cuddled and fell asleep in the living room that night. The next morning, we all go up and got ready to head to HYBE. I was a bit nervous going to the building, but I constantly had one of my Soulmates with me reassuring me that it would be okay and there was nothing to worry about. We all got into the Van and made our way to the building. It was way bigger than I thought, I was going to get lost in this place if I wasn't careful. We got dropped off at the garage entrance and headed to a board room where once we entered, we saw Bang sitting waiting for us.
"Good morning everyone, good to see you again Melody." He said with a smile. I bowed to the man "Good morning Sir." Then we all took a seat. Jin and my left and Yoongi and my right Jin held my hand and Yoongi had his arm around my shoulders. "Thank you again for thinking over going public, I know the guys are excited. I just wanted to go over the plan with you, so you know what to expect." He explained.
I nodded as he ran me through it and what he expects the response to be. He explained that there may be a mix of good and bad at first, but it was important to remember the true fans will love that the guys have met their Soulmate. He explained that HYBE would protect them all and make sure to up security for the dorm and have a standby location in case it was released where they were. He also mentioned that with going public they would need to be ready to release my identity in case it was leaked so in addition to the close ups they would have a few of my whole body ready to share if the moment arises. I was a bit worried about that but both Jin and Yoongi made sure to give a light squeeze of reassurance. "Yes sir. I understand." I said back to him.
The guys and I all made our way to the stylist's area, they were already ready and waiting for us. Two girls grabbed me and took me over to the rack of clothes. They handed me a pair of black jeans, a flannel shirt, and white shoes. I went to the rest room and changed into the outfit, once I walked out the stylist unbuttoned a few of the buttons so I could see the tattoos and moved me over to get my hair and makeup done.
The guys were also getting done up but watching over me smiling, once they were done with me I walked over to an empty couch and waited for the photographer to call me. While I poked around on my phone I saw a pair of sneakers come up in front of me. Looking up I saw Tae's boxy smile beaming down at me. "You look absolutely beautiful." He said to me while pushing a piece of hair behind my ear. "Thank you." I said blushing and taking his hand as he sat down next to me. "Are you nervous?" he asked. I was definitely nervous but to be honest when wasn't I now a days.
"Yes, I've never formally had my pictures taken like this. It's a bit strange, I feel like I'm going to stick out like I don't belong." I said to him with my head down. He lifted my chin up with his finger bringing my eyes up to look into his. "You belong with us Melody, there is no reason for you to be nervous we will be with you." I couldn't help but get lost in his eyes. Then he leaned down and pecked your cheek, "until later sweetheart." He said with a smirk and getting up to go get his makeup done. My heart leaped into my throat; I wasn't sure I was ever going to get used to these guys.
Once all the make up and hair was done the photographer started, first he pulled the guys in for their group photo. All with their Soulmate tattoos showing, they looked so handsome both with the smiling photo and serious faces, the duality of these guys was amazing. Just like the videos I had watched of them they were truly a ridiculous group of guys. Always joking with each other and making each other laugh.
Once they were done the photographer asked me to join them, he placed me in between Joon and Jungkook. I felt tense but once Joon put his around my shoulder and Jungkook put his arm around my waist I relaxed. The shoot with the guys passed in a blink, they had us laughing jumping and playing around, the photographer looked pleased. Then he pulled each guy to do individual shots with me, he had each one of the guys go poses holding me around the waist and other couple poses. Once they were all done it was your individual turn, once I was alone in front of the camera I started to get self-conscious. I started to feel yourself crawl into myself, I shrugged your shoulders, held my arms across my body protectively. The photographer stopped and gave me a break.
Yoongi walked over to me as I waited in the sidelines, "You doing, ok?" "I thought I was, but I am not sure I can do this alone." "You aren't alone, we are all here." He smiled at you pulling me into a hug. "We know this is your first time, I promise you are doing so good. You got this I promise." He said back to you rubbing your back as he spoke. "No go out there and show them how beautiful our Soulmate is."
I could do this, they were with me, they would always be with me. I looked over to the guys and they were all smiling, and I could feel my confidence building just from their proud stares. They could help me through anything and they were proving it now. I blew them all a kiss and walked back in front of the camera ready to show the world my tattoo and when time was right with my face as well.
Once I was done the photographer showed me a few of the pictures. I glanced over to the screen and gasped. I couldn't believe how good I looked and next to the guys it was like the puzzle pieces all fell into place, this was where I was meant to be.
After the photoshoot the guys had to practice for a bit, Yoongi let me hang out in his studio while they went to dance practice. He showed me how to use the stereo and I put on one of my newer playlists that had all kpop so I could listen to more of their stuff and other artists too. I layed down on the couch at the back of the studio and listed to the music.
A few hours later I was still laying eyes closed on the couch, I didn't hear the door open. the next thing I know I feel someone move the hair from my face. Opening your eyes, I saw Yoongi looking down at me with a soft smile. "Listening to our music I see." Of course, he would walk in as one of their songs was on. (A/N Your Eyes Tell was playing btw 😊) "It's a beautiful song." I stated back to him. "Well, I'm sure Jungkook would love to hear you say that he helped write it." "Are you serious? Wow that's amazing. Song writing sounds so amazing, I wish I could do it." "Why can't you?" I was stunned, no one had believed I could do something like that, I just stared back at him. "If you want to try it, I would be happy to help you." "I wouldn't want to take up your time Yoongi. I know you all work so hard." He shook his head at me. "No, I want to. Plus, then I get to spend more time with you. how about this why don't you first write your thoughts and ideas in this notebook and then we can go from there." He said handing me a leather notebook. "Ok." I said taking the notebook from his hand. "I promise to try hard." I said with a smile reaching up with kiss him on the cheek. "I know you will babe. Now let's get home the guys are starving" He said smiling back at me.
One the way back to the dorm Joon let me know they had decided on when to publicize the photos. I was surprised that they had decided to announce it tomorrow at noon. "Why so soon?" I asked. "I think Bang wants to make sure you feel supported and that we aren't hiding you. and I agree, i want to be able to take you places and with how we are right now I know that's not possible." He was right, I was constantly afraid of leaving the house with any of them and really had only gone out once "on my own". "If you think its right I trust you. I hope this will help us all to be able to be together more." I tried to sound hopeful but behind it I was terrified. Joon put his arm around me and pulled me in close. letting me head lay on his chest. "Don't worry we will get through this and then we can all finally be together."
The other guys were joking around with each other and stopped when they saw my worried face, "Melody it will be ok." they all said. I leaned on Joon and smiled at them all. Yoongi then spoke up. "Guys, guess what she was listening to when i got back to my studio." oh no he wouldn't I thought. I was starting to blush when he said, "Your Eyes Tell, and you want to know what she said about the song?" My eyes narrowed at Yoongi, he chuckled at me seeing the look on my face. Then I glanced over to Jungkook who was eagerly waiting for the answer. "What did she say?!" basically yelling at Yoongi.
"Well Jungkook, she said that the song was beautiful." he said with a huge smile. Jungkook's face turned bright red and turned to me. "You really think that?" he asked. My face was fully red at this point. I was stunned not sure what to say so I nodded. He reached over and grabbed my hand, "Thank you, I know your still getting to know us but hearing that makes me so happy." I wanted to tell him over and over again I wanted to always make him happy but the words didn't come. I bowed my head in embarrassment, luckily for me the van pulled into the garage of the dorm, Saved by the van.
