You slowly awoke to the sound of what seemed like chattering.
Blinking, you checked the time, wondering what was up with the random chatter
"5:24 AM"
Processing this information, you arose from the bed to check up on what's currently going on.
The closer you got, the more you realized, this isn't just ordinary conversations, this was some sort of trade
"Say, how about this, you'll hand me 1/4 of your resources, and in return, I'll give you information." The black-haired girl said, resting her chin on her interlocked fingers.
"I reckon if you do know what information we want." Calliope responded, glaring at her.
"Are you sure?" She questioned, sliding the pink haired girl a folder.
As Calliope scanned the contents inside the folder, you suddenly heard footsteps behind you.
Looking behind, you felt a cold, metal object press against your forehead, along with a noticeable 'click'
"Who may you be, friend?"
"I-I-"
You struggled to form any sentences, as you realize you were being held at gun point.
Your ears pinned against your head as your tail hid itself between your legs, sweating bullets as you noticed her harsh, cold glare.
Just before the white haired girl could say anything, you felt a hand wrap around your waist.
"Oh, she's with me, Fubuki."
You assumed the voice belonged to none other than Amelia.
Fubuki lowered her gun, softening her gaze.
"My apologies, Ms. Watson. I simply confused her for a spy, that's all." Fubuki responded, ears slightly lowering as she placed her gun back into the holster
"It's no worries, now, I must head back to my office, (Y/N), would you like to come with?" Amelia asked, looking back at you.
As much as you want to come with, you realized that she just might be a part of the neighboring clan your family would trade with.
You just needed to make sure it is her.
"No thanks, I'll be fine!" You grinned, giving her a thumbs up.
Amelia nodded, before walking away.
Once she was gone, you looked back at the white haired kemomimi with uncertainty.
"Fubuki.. Are you.. Perhaps part of the Shirakami clan?" You asked.
That question immediately caught her attention as she snaps her head towards you.
Eyes full of recognition, she realized it was you.
"(N/N), is that really you?" She questioned, eyes wide in shock.
"Mmhm!" You responded, resting your hands on your hips.
"The one and only!"
Fubuki immediately enveloped you in a hug, dropping her scary facade.
"I'm sorry I left you, I really am!" Fubuki said, burying her face into the crook of your neck.
Giggling softly, you pat her head as she cried, feeling guilty.
"I know you had no choice, plus, I already forgave you a long time ago!" You responded, comforting her.
She sniffled, before letting go of you.
She wiped her tears away with her sleeves, before looking at you.
"I have to go.. but I promise I'll visit you again!" She exclaimed, waving at you before hurriedly leaving.
You smiled softly as she figure grew smaller, before she was finally gone.
"I wonder what Gura is up to.."

"GURA FOR FUCKS SAKE GET THAT OFF YOUR PLATE."
Gura raised an eyebrow, gripping her fork and knife tighter.

Calliope snatched the tide pod off Gura's plate, tossing it across the room, hitting Kiara square in the face.
Huffing, she looked back, only to find ANOTHER FUCKING TIDEPOD ON HER PLATE
"WHA- WHO THE EVEN IS SUPPLYING YOU WITH THESE."
Gura just shrugged, poking the tidepod with her fork.
"Yeah no, I'm going to check up on (Y/N)" Calliope huffed, walking towards the hallway.
"Kusotori, watch over her for me!"
Oh what a mistake that was.

"Chaaat! Don't worry, I'm alive!" You responded, grinning.
After your sudden disappearance, you're worried everyone, which stirred a bit of problems in your community.
Reassuring the chat, you suddenly heard a knock on your door.
"Come in!"
"Uhm, is it alright if I stay here for a bit? I need to take a break."
Although hushed, her mic was still able to pick up her voice, causing chat to question who tf was the person currently in her room rn
"Chaaaat, it's fine! She's a friend of mine!"
As you converse with the chat, you heard Calliope quickly stand up and run out of the room.
Looking at chat, what perfect timing really, cause the moment you look at it, a series of concerning dialogue reached your ears.

"GURA THE KITCHEN IS ON FIRE FOR FUCKS SAKE"

"THIS IS NO MINOR INCONVENIENCE, THE KITCHEN IS LITERALLY ON FIRE"
"Wait does that mean the meat loaf is ready"
"Rq lemme check"
"KIARA GET BACK HERE- NO DONT ENTER THE KITCHEN"
*muffled* "I think we burnt it Gura"
"aw.. I wanted some meat loaf.."
"Hey, Calli, is it just me or is it getting hot in here?"
"WELL NO SHIT SHERLOCK THE KITCHEN IS ON F I R E"
*rushed footsteps; before the sound of a fire extinguisher"
"God I can never leave you alone for a second.."

After hearing that, you apologized, before ending the stream.
Getting up from your chair, you head over to the kitchen, only to find the burned remains of what's even left there.
"I am heavily considering baby proofing this house.." Calliope sighed, watching as Gura rushed up to you, hugging you.
Patting her head, you looked at Calliope with concern on her current sanity levels, but decided not to ask.
"Today surely is a interesting day.."
