"Happy birthday, Sola baby!"
Today, we are celebrating Sola's 4th birthday. We are on the beach with our family and close friends. It's just a simple celebration but I know this will be memorable.
I can't believe Sola's already growing up. Parang kailan lang ang liit pa niya, ngayon nakakalakad na siya. Habang tumatagal, her features became more visible. Makikita mong pinaghalo iyon ng itsura namin ni Jacob pero mas lamang ako. Nakikita ko sa kanya ang sarili ko.
"Gift from daddy and mommy." I lend her a small paper bag. She giggled and opened it.
"Wow, a bracelet! Thank you mommy," She kissed my cheeks. We gave her a gold bracelet with flowers around it.
"How about me? Hindi ka magte-thank you kay daddy?" Nakangusong reklamo ng asawa ko. Nakaupo si Sola sa hita ko habang nakaluhod si Jacob sa harap namin.
"Thank you, daddy," she also kissed her dad's cheek. Kinuha ni Sola iyon at binigay kay Jacob.
"Dad, I want to wear. Please?" She told her dad.
"Okay, baby. Don't lose it huh? Your mom will kill us." Pangaral niya kay Sola habang tumatawa.
Kumakain na ngayon ang guests dahil kakatapos lang ng program at blowing ng candles ng cake.
Wala pa ang mga ninong at ninang ni Sola dahil may mga trabaho pa. Sabi nila ay susunod sila sa after party. Inabala ko ang sarili ko sa pakikipag-usap sa mga iba ko pang kaibigan. Sola is with her grandparents.
Jacob sitted beside me and his hand quickly snaked around my waist when he saw me talking to a guy. Napangiti ako. Mag asawa na kami at lahat eh napaka seloso pa rin.
"Love, this is Laurence. Remember him? Siya yung kasama ko sa movie." He arched his brows before nodding.
"And Laurence, this is Jacob, my husband. I know you already know him." Nakipag kamayan silang dalawa.
"Engineer, of course. It's nice to actually meet you." Ani Laurence.
"Well, likewise." Tipid na sabi ni Jacob.
"Mommy, can I have a cake, please?" Sola suddenly showed up. Our gaze turned to her.
"Yes, love but please, not too much, okay?" I held her cheeks. She nodded happily. "Oh by the way, Sola, our daughter. Sola, this is Tito Laurence." My daughter smiled shyly.
She slowly walked towards her dad and hid herself behind him.
"Happy birthday, Sola. It's nice meeting you. You look pretty." Bati ni Rence sa kanya.
"thank you, t-tito." She gave him a cute smile.
"Sola is shy huh? Come, I'll get you some cake." Jacob held our daughter's hand before giving Rence a nod. He kissed my head before walking away.
Marami pa akong inentertain na guests hanggang sa gumabi na. Umunti ng umunti ang mga tao hanggang sa naiwan na lang ang family namin. Dumating na rin naman kaagad ang mga ninong at ninang ni Sola. You know who they are.
"Tito, Tita!" Sola went to them. She's so excited to see them.
Elisha and Beatriz was the first one to enter kasama si Jiro, their 4-year old son. He and Sola got along with each other so fast.
Sunod na dumating sina Ethan, Ara, Mich, Hera, Kelly, Royce kasama ang cousins ni Jacob.
"Sola bebe! happy birthday!" Bati ni Ara
"Happy birthday, Sola baby! Hello you Jiro pogi!" Binati nilang lahat si Sola at Jiro.
"Hoy, 'tol! Ano? Inom na!" Bungad agad ni Royce sa katabi kong si Jacob. Nakasunod sa likod niya si Ethan, kalong si Jiro.
They both went towards us to say hello. Kinuha ko agad kay Ethan si Jiro bago nila hinila palayo ang asawa ko.
"Not too much, Royce!" Sigaw ko.
"Hoy, minsan lang naman grabe!" He shouted back.
"Birthday naman ni Sola, Aeri." Singit pa ni Ethan.
"Kaya nga eh, may mga bata! You are not responsible titos." Umiling ako at tumawa. Dumiretso sila sa may bar island at kumuha ng mga alak.
I stayed with the girls the whole night. They also booked a hotel room so they can sleep over. Hindi pa ako makainom ng wine ng maayos dahil itong si Sola, sakin dumikit, inaagaw ang baso ko.
"No baby, bawal," Umiling ako habang sumimangot siya. Sumandal na lang siya sakin at sinubukang matulog. Kahit bigat na bigat ako ay hinayaan ko na siya.
"Hi, how's Spain? It's been a while huh?" Tanong ko kay Beatriz at Elisha.
"Good. We miss you both in the office. Balik naman na kayo. Sama niyo si Sola minsan." Si Bea.
"Doon na ba kayo mag sesettle? Ayaw niyo ba rito? Kawawa naman si Jiro oh, lagi naiiwan." Nakapout na sabi ni Ara habang tinutro si Jiro na kalong ng tatay niya.
Sumimsim ako sa wine na hawak ko. "Actually, we're planning to stay here na. Lalo at hindi namin nagagamit ang mansyon. Inaayos lang namin ang papers." Si Eli ang sumagot.
Lumipat naman si Jacob, Royce at Ethan sa table namin. Agad kinuha ni Jacob ang natutulog na si Sola at sa dibdib niya pinatulog.
"That's good, nakakainggit naman. We still need to go home ni Ara sa States eh. Our da wants us to be there." Mich sighed. Naiintindihan naman namin sila. They have a family too.
"As for me naman guys, I'm not staying sa province na because I'm assigned here in Manila, St. Lukes!" We all congratulated Hera! Unti-umti na kaming nag kakalapit ah?
"Mabuti kami ni Royce sa QC lang ang kumpanya namin." Hirit ni Ethan.
"So, ano 'to? Ako na lang kulang ah? Lipat na rin kaya ako? Bakit ba kasi sa isla pa ako naasign?!" Reklamo ni Kelly. She works on a clinic in a small community sa isang island. Palawan, I think? Pero atleast she got the chance to explore Palawan! Ang ganda kaya doon.
"Gusto mo yung isla na mismo ipapalipat ko, nakakahiya naman sayo kung ikaw pa mag aadjust, madame!" Biro ni Royce.
Maya maya ay nagkayayaan na umakyat sina mommy. Isinama na nila si Jiro at Sola na parehong tulog na. We spent the night by the shore watching the moon and the stars while listening to the calming beach waves.
Gabi na pero hindi gaanong madilim dahil maliwanag ang ilaw sa resort. Dumagdag pa sa liwanag ang bilog na buwan. Deep talks with good friends in a relaxing place. Lahat kami may mga hawak na bote ng beer.
Sumandal ako sa dibdib ni Jacob. Ipinulupot niya kaagad ang kamay sa bewang ko sabay hinalikan ang ulo ko.
"Namiss ko 'to, namiss ko kayo." I said calmly.
Mag aala-una na ng nagpunta na kami sa kanya kanyang room. Hindi na namin inabalang kuhain si Sola sa kwarto ng mga lolo at lola niya dahil ayaw namin silang maabala, siguradong tulog na rin sila. Besides, Jacob and I wants to be alone tonight.
Pagkapasok namin sa hotel ay agad akong nag shower. Amoy alak ako gosh! Pagkalabas ko ay si Jacob naman ang sumunod. I did my night routine and brushed my teeth before going out sa bathroom. I scrolled down to my phone while sitting infront of the vanity. I posted pictures on instagram. First picture was Jacob, Sola and I and captioned 'happy birthday, baby Sola! We love you.' Then the other picture was with the OG friends. 'reunited' as the caption.
I stood up to get some pjs sa cabinet. Sakto, Jacob got out from the shower. Naamoy ko agad ang mint at sabon sa kanya. He's so fresh. I stare at him for a moment. His hair looked so messy and wet but gwapo niya pa rin. Bumaba ang tingin ko sa katawan niya, gosh those abs! He looked so hot dumagdag pa ang pagtulo ng tubig mula sa basa niyang buhok.
He glaced at me and he slowly let out a smirk. Grabe, hindi ako lasing pero bakit ganito ka, Aeristell. Asawa ko na siya pero bakit ganito pa rin ang epekto niya sakin.
"Ano ang iniisip mo, Mrs. Castillo?" He walked towards me and he swiftly grabbed my waist pushing me closer to him.
"N-nauuhaw ako, love.."Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. Hinawakan ko ang pisngi niya at marahang hinalikan ang labi niya. He kissed me more, his hand travelled down to my mound and softly caressed it. I opened my mouth when I felt his toungue inside. He softly bit my lower lip making me moan in between his kisses.
Dinala niya ako sa kama. Bago niya ako hiniga, hinila niya ang tali sa robe na suot ko. Tanging robe lang ang suot ko kaya pagkaalis non ay naramdaman ko agad ang lamig. Hinila ko rin ang towel na nakabalot sa bewang niya at tama nga ako, wala rin siyang kung anong damit doon.
He kissed me while laying me on the soft matress. He positioned himself on top of me at walang pasabing ipinasok niya ang kahabaan niya sa loob ko. "Ah!" I moaned when I felt a little pain down there.
"Shh, quiet love." He laughed.
He moved slowly until pain turned into pleasure. Naging mabilis ang galaw niya pagkatapos nun. Rinig ko ang tunog ng kama at ang paghinga namin. Pati ang halik niya sa leeg ko naririnig ko. I felt my cheeks heated.
"Jacob! Ugh!" I whispered.
"Ah, fuck!" he groaned as I felt his hot juice inside me. He gave me more sloppy thrust before laying down beside me.
"I love you," he kissed me again. I was so tired so I ended up sleeping in his arms.
A week had passed after Sola's birthday. Nasa office ako ngayon dahil may inaasikaso akong blueprints. Later I will visit the site. I am the architect of the five star hotel here in Manila. I accepted this project because the owners are Tita Ashley and her family. Its been so long since I get along with them.
Syempre dahil nag showbiz ako dati, malabong makalimutan ako ng mga tao kaya marami pa rin ang nagpapapicture kung minsan. They want me back honestly but I'm too busy with work. Minsan naman tumatanggap ako ng product promotions kapag may time.
jacob: let's grab some lunch, love. omw, see you in a bit ;)
I did not realized that it was already noon. Buti na lang at nagtext si Jacob. Ilang minuto lang akong nahintay sa kanya.
"Hi, love," he walked towards my desk and kissed me on my cheeks.
"Hi, tara na love, gutom na ako eh." Tumayo ako agad at hinawakan ang kamay niya tsaka hinila siya palabas ng building. Sa parking kami dumiretso dahil hindi nagpa valet si Jacob dahil gamit namin ang paborito niyang chevrolet. Alagang alaga niya ito at hinding hindi niya pinapagamit sa iba, maski sa akin!
"Wow, something's strange, Aeristell. Akala ko ba nagdadiet ka eh palagi ka na kumakain? Araw- araw ba ang cheat day mo?" Binigyan niya ako ng mapang asar na tingin.
"Alam mo, ang gulo mo, Jacob. Kapag maunti ang kinakain ko pagagalitan mo ako tapos kapag naman marami ang kinakain ko pinupuna mo pa rin ako!" Inirapan ko siya.
"Tara na nga, cute mo!" He pinched my cheeks before going inside the car.
Dinala niya ako sa mall at ako ang pinapili niya kung saan kami kakain. I just choose a fine dining resto. He ordered for us pero nagpadagdag pa ako ng baby back ribs kahit may steak na. I also added ice gellato for dessert. I want something sweet today.
"I'm starting to doubt you, Aeri. Is there something.. well, may hindi ba ako alam?" Tanong niya nanaman. Kumunot ang noo ko habang kumakain.
"Stop it, Jacob!" inismiran ko siya.
"Woah, look who's grumpy?" He said while chewing his food.
Hindi ako tinigilan ni Jacob hanggang sa ihatid niya ako sa office ko. Sobrang bwisit ko sakanya, gosh! Bagos iya umalis ay nilambing niya muna ako because i'm so damn pissed! After ko tapusin ang designs at blueprints ng iba ko pang projects, tumawag sakin ang engineer ng pinapagawang hotel at sinabing kailangan niya raw akong kausapin dahil may kailangan baguhin sa site.
I quickly changed my heels to a white sneakers. Good thing I was just wearing a black off shoulder top tucked in a khaki romper pants.so the sneaker loogs good with the outfit.I wore my chanel sunglasses dahil medyo mainit sa labas.
"Architect Castillo, mabuti at nakarating ka na." Bungad sakin ni Engineer Luis Livelo. I never worked with him but he seemed so nice and determined. Kasama ito ni Jacob sa office kand he said that this man has a very excellent performance.
"Hi, Engineer. How's the construction going?" Tanong ko pagkapasok ko ng office. Napakainit sa labas buti na lang airconditioned itong office.
"So far, maayos naman. Nag inspect ako kanina doon, Architect tapos nakita ko nga na kailangan nating baguhin ang design sa may garden area. Masyadong masikip ang sukat na nailagay natin noong una kaya baka mawalan ng space ang mga ilalagay na tubo doon.." He explained every detail to me.
We talked for an hour so we can come up with another plan para maipresent na rin namin kay Tita Ashley para maaprove na. Pagkatapos ay lumabas ako ng office para sana libutin ang site kaso bigla akong nakaramdam ng hilo.
"Shit! What is happening?" Napahawak ako sa ulo ko.
"Architect, okay lang po ba kayo? Tawagan ko na po ba si Engineer Castillo?" Nilapitan ako ni Engineer Luis.
"Ah, no. Thank you, Engineer but I'm fine. Mainit kasi ang panahon kaya siguro ako nahilo. I'll just head back to the office. Tawagan niyo na lang ako if something happens." Paalam ko.
"Sige po Architect, ingat po kayo."
Pagkarating sa office ay agad akong umupo sa sofa para magpahinga. Nakakapagod grabe.
"Love, wake up. Nakatulog ka raw sabi ni Beatriz. Nandito sila kanina hinahanap ka kaso nakaalis na." Hindi ako nag salita at tumayo na lang.
I got my things up sinundan naman ako ni Jacob at niyakap patalikod. I felt his lips on my shoulder kissing it softly. "Are you still mad at me, love? I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." He said softly.
"No, I want to go home now." I said calmly.
"I'm sorry, love. Don't be mad please. I love you," he whispered.
"I am not mad, I'm just tired, love. Let's go home now please." Humarap ako sa kanya and gave him a peck on his lips. "I love you,"
"Mommy, daddy!" Sinundo namin si Sola sa house nila Jacob. We gave her kisses and hugs. We always miss her everytime we need to go to work. Iniiwan namin siya minsan kay Mommy or minsan naman sa Mom ni Jacob.
"Kain muna kayo, anak." I kissed tita Tasha's cheeks.
"No, mom. We're going na rin maybe next time. Aeri's tired." Jacob gave her an apologetic smile.
"oh, okay. Don't stress yourself too much, anak. Take care," She told me.
"Yes, ma, I will po." Tumango ako sa kanya bago bumaling kay Sola na nakahawak sa kamay ko. "Say babye na to Lola-Mama, baby."
"Bye Lola," Sola kissed her cheek that made mama giggle.
"Bye, Sola baby!"
Umuwi na rin kami agad dahil sobrang sama talaga ng pakiramdam ko. Hanggang sa byahe ay nahihilo ako kaya pagdating sa bahay ay patakbo akong lumabas ng kotse at nagtungo sa cr para sumuka.
"Ah, fuck! What the hell!" I muttered a curse pero mahina lang dahil sa frustration. What is happening. I'm acting so strange!
"Love, are you okay?" Kumatok si Jacob.
"Mommy, what happened?" Sola's voice sounds worried.
"Yes, don't worry I'm fine." Sabi ko agad. Tumayo ako at flinush ang toilet bago nag mumog sa sink. Binuksan ko ang pinto at naabutan doon si Jacob na may hawak na baso ng tubig.
"Drink, love. Tell me what's happening. I am worried." He softly said.
"I- i think I am... preggy?" hindi siguradong sagot ko.
"I knew it. Magpa check up tayo just to make sure, love." Tumango ako.
He hugged me. "You'll be fine, love. Don't stress too much." He kissed my head.
The next day was a Sunday kaya nagpunta kami sa clinic ni Jacob. Isinama namin Sola dahil sunday ngayon, it means its family day.
We waited for the results. Hindi naman ganoon katagal. We decided not to check the result yet until makauwi kami. Kumain lang kami sa mall at nag shopping. We bought clothes and toys for Sola and buyed some groceries. Enjoy na enjoy tumulong sa pagkuha ng gamit si Sola. After that we went home.
Nasa living room kami, nakaupo sa mahabang sofa. Sola is laying down beside his dad watching tv. While Jacob is opening the envelope na may lamang result. Kinakabahan ko siyang tiningnan. Kumunot ang noo niya kaya nagtaka ako.
"What did it say, love?" tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. Ngumuso siya at binalingan si Sola.
"Sola," Tawag niya. Agad namang tumingin ang bata.
"Don't you want to have sibling? A baby brother or maybe baby sister? What do you think?" He asked.
"Yes daddy! I want! Not sure if boy or girl, but I want!" She shouted.
"Well, lucky you, you're mom is pregnant! Magiging ate ka na." I was surprised of what i heared. Even Sola, nakita ko ang pamimilog ng mata niya.
"Am I, love?" Gulat ko pa ring tanong.
"Yes, congrats, love! I love you," he kissed me on my cheek habang hinahawakan si Sola na tumatalon sa coach.
"Oh my god!" I felt a tear fall. Tiningnan ko ang tyan ko at hinaplos iyon tsaka tumingin kay Jacob. Dali dali namang pumunta sakin si Sola ng makitang umiiyak ako.
"Mommy, okay?" Tinaas niya pa ang thumb niya. Ngumiti ako at tumawa kahit tuloy tuloy ang luhang tumutulo sa mata ko.
"Hug," Sola is the sweetest girl we've ever had. "Daddy, bad. You made mommy cry!" Naka pout na sabi ni Sola habang nakatingin sa tatay niya. Natawa kaming pareho.
"Anak, mommy is just happy. That is why I'm crying. Do not blame your dad, okay?" I chuckled.
"Why do you cry when you're already happy?" Sola innocently asked.
"Sola, when you feel happy you can cry too." Jacob replied.
Lumuhod sa harap ko si Jacob at hinaplos ang tyan ko. Napangiti ako dahil ginagaya siya ni Sola. Ang cute nila tingnan.
"Hi, baby, daddy's here, can you hear me? Your mommy and ate is here also." Hinawakan rin ni Sola iyon. Hinalikan ni Jacob ang tyan ko bago tumayo, ganoon rin ang ginawa ni Sola.
"Night, baby," Sola giggled and sitted on her pink soft mat and played with her toys.
"I'm so lucky to have you both, gosh! And I am so happy that there is another precious blessing for us, my love. I can't wait.." Tumingala ako para tingnan si Jacob, he gave me a genuine smile.
"This is what we're dreaming for, love, and I am happy that it's finally happening. A life with you is what all that I ever want.. I got all I need, a loving wife and of course, our sweet Sola, and now may dadagdag pa." He smiled.
"Huy, naiiyak ka!" Asar ko pa.
"Tss ano ako ba buntis sating dalawa? Ikaw itong iyakin." Biro niya sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.
"Joke lang, love, ganda mo!" Tumawa siya at nag peace sign.
"Pero seryoso, I am so grateful to have you all in my life. All of you, were the best thing that ever happened to me.. And I promise to keep you happy and to love you always.." he leaned to give me a soft kiss.
"I love you, Aeristell," he whispered in between our kisses.
"I love you, Jacob," I replied.
"Ew! Mommy, Daddy, PDA!" SIgaw ni Sola na papalapit samin.
"Come here, mom and dad will give you hugs and kisses." Kinalong ni Jacob si Sola at kiniliti. Nakisali naman ako.
Tuwang tuwa si Sola habang inaasar siya ng tatay niya. Hanggang sa makatulog na siya dahil sa pagod. I glanced at them. Sola is peacefully sleeping on his father's chest while Jacob sings lullaby to her. Napangiti ako.
This is what I dreamed for, a happy family that I can call 'my own..'
