Today was the full moon. Which only meant one thing. Remus would have to turn tonight. I sighed loudly before getting out of my bed and tiredly threw on my robes and walked down to the common room.
I sat there with the others before it was time for me to go to potions. Sirius, me, and a very tired Remus all walked to potions together.
Remus and I sat down getting our potions book out before slughorn spoke up
" today we will be brewing the confusing concoction. Now the ingredients and instructions are on page 56 in your books. You will brew the potion and once you finish I will give you a grade based on if I think the potion is correct. You may begin" he said in his usually loud voice.
We all opened the book to page 56 and began reading the ingredients
Ingredients:
Scurvy grass
Lovage
Sneezewort
I walked over to the other side and got all of the ingredients for it sitting them down on the desk that me and Remus shared.

Once I got out of muggle studies I went straight to the great hall for dinner. Once I got to the great hall I went over to the Gryffindor table sitting in between James and Remus.
" any plans for the weekend?" Lily asked sitting infront of me
" no I don't think so, I was going to start a reading a book, but why do you ask?" I replied
" I just wanted to see if you wanted to have a girls night Saturday." She asked
" well seeing as there's nothing else going on this weekend so yeah of course I'd love to have a girls night" I smiled as she smiled back

The sun stated sitting which meant Remus had to turn soon. Am I nervous? Yes. Have I been nervous every time? Also yes. I mean what human being wouldn't be nervous if their boyfriend was a werewolf and has to literally break all of his bones every month, but then again not a lot of people do have a werewolf boyfriend. Which only makes this harder
James came into the dorm. A dorm which was lonely and quiet.
" so uh Remus is already there just thought I'd let you know, we're going down now" he stated
I gently nodded my head and let out a breath " okay thank you letting me know James" I said as I gave him a smile
" of course" he replied flashing a smile at me before shutting the door behind him.
So here I am again. Alone. Apparently lily and Marlene got invited to a hufflepuff party and Alice is out on a date with frank.
I laid back on my bed putting my thumb and index finger on the bridge on my nose go try to ease the headache.
I grabbed the tea from the headstand beside my bed and took a sip before putting the blankets over me, and I laid there.

I awoke with a pain in my thigh reaching down to it and slightly massaging it. I finally opened my eyes just to be stuck up side down again
Shit not again
" Hayden" a soft familiar voice called out. I looked to my right
It's my mom
"m- mom?" I asked
" yes sweetie, it's your mom. I have something to show you." She smiled
" what is it?" I asked looking around.
She chucked " we have to get out of here first" she started to pull her seatbelt to which I did the same but of course that moment didn't last and when I turned my head I wasn't even there anymore. I was in his office
Dumbledore's office.
" what the fuck" I mumbled
" ah." Dumbledore tsked " you're awake. You might be a bit confused so I'll tell you why you're here. You seemed you have slept walked to my office" he flashed me a grin
I nodded still sleepy from just waking up
" I'm going to uh go now" I pointed at the door as he just nodded his head yes. Before I left I looked at his clock to see what time it was
4:36 am. Shit.
I walked out his door quietly careful not to get caught " lurking the corridors after hours". I walked all the way to the Gryffindor tower and walking in through the portrait
When I got inside the common room I noticed lily sitting on the couch Infont of the fire. " what are you doing up?" I asked going to sit down beside her
" I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, you?" She asked.
" I just went for a walk" I shrugged as she nodded and turned her head back to the fire. Lily sighed fiddling with the ends of her sweater. " what is it? What's wrong?" I asked her
" I think I like James" she finally said letting out a breath. I hid my smile " maybe you should tell him" I replied
" I'm scared. What if he doesn't like me anymore" she asked.
I scoffed " that man is in love you. Pretty sure he still likes you" I laughed. " listen. Best thing I can tell you is tell him when your ready. Don't feel pressured to do it. Tell him on your own terms lils" I smiled. She leaped over throwing her arms around me.
" thank you hayden." She smiled her arms getting tighter, I smiled back at her and released me free and got up without saying goodbye and walked up the stairs into the dorms
I smiled to myself I knew it.
I decided to just wait there untill James, Sirius and Peter tell me if everything is okay. I went over beside the fire in a little space that I had found a few months back and tapped it.
A bag of chocolate that I had hidden using the disillusionment charm. I picked the bag up and walked back over to the couch and opened the bag taking a chocolate bar out.
I stayed there untill 5:30 which was when the sun rose and waited for them to come into the common room.
And at 6:00 am they finally did. When they walked in I immediately stood up sitting down the bag " is he okay?" I asked fast.
James nodded " he's fine just a few cuts" he informed me. " is he asleep?" I asked, and once again they nodded their heads
" okay well I'll just go see him later then" I said quietly to myself before sitting back down as they followed
" did madam kick you out?" I asked since they were still here,
" yeah she did" Sirius yawned. I grabbed 3 chocolate bars giving each of them one as I received thank you's

" okay you are all now dismissed" I walked out of my last class of the day muggle studies and I started walking straight to the infirmary
I walked in walking through looking for Remus before I finally spotted him eating chocolate pudding.
" hi" I said causing him to look up from the pudding. He smiled lightly " hi" he replied before I kissed him. I sat down in the chair beside his bed
" so you're okay? Nothing bad" I asked, he chuckled and nodded his head " yes I'm fine just a few cuts is all" he replied smoothing down the blanket that was on him
" and what about you? Are you okay?" He asked
" I had a dream" I stated
" and what was it?" He looked at me with concern
" I'm sure you remember that one dream I had about my brother where we were upside down in the car, but this time it wasn't Dylan it- it was my mom. I don't know why but it was weird. I've been having dreams about my dead brother but I've never had a dream about my mom."
I guess it's just because I don't see her anymore.

Right before I left I said that I was taking a break to focus on my mental health ( which I've worked on and improved), but I wanted to say thank you for understanding and not leaving.
