35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

The power of compassion. Jesus showed His compassion towards us, I pray that we become compassionate too. God Himself let us experience His compassion by giving us comfort when we are deeply wounded, giving us hope when things seem to be hopeless at all and letting His Son died for us to live and be saved. And by being compassionate, we can also be able to help and encourage other people.
It's not required to be 'grandiose' but even in the 'simplest' way we can.
