the next few weeks flew by in a instant, Elena had begun getting frustrated with Stefan for keeping secrets from her and Jeremey was in a love triangle with Viki and Tyler I keep telling myself that I was a faze
I continued to work at the hospital and send letter back to my family in England every two week loving the one I was getting in return including the one about that Hogwarts was finally reopened
Hermione told me that McGonagall was made headmistress which made me smile as she defiantly deserved it and that Harry, Ron and Neville were starting arura training
It didn't surprise me Hermione and Ginny were heading back Hogwarts and that Draco was staring a business that helped out people who suffered through the war with Blaise by his side
but after having a fight with Elena about secrets and Stefan I me storm out of the house and drove to a nearby bar that I used to go to with the girl during the summer
as I walked in I had noticed Stefan was sitting at the bar nursing a glass of bourbon, I smirked as I wondered over to him and sat down beside him
a little young to be drinking alcohol, aren't you" I said putting up my hand signaling to the bartender as Stefan turned to me with a shocked expression
"Elly, what are you doing here, how'd you know I'd be here" he asked
the bartender came over, "Bourbon please" I said and he nodded and walked away
I turned to Stefan, "I didn't I used to come here all the time during the summer, but I'm not here for you I'm in need of a drink" I said
he settled into his chair again, "why, you have a bad day" he asked
I scoffed, "Elena and I had another fight figured a drink would help me plus nobody will find me here, if my dad had found about this place he would freaked if he new being from a good found family" I said
he nodded and scoffed, "Yeah, I know what that is like," he said taking a sip of his drink
the bartender came back over and put my drink in front of me, "thanks, put it on my tab" I said as he nodded before walking away
The next morning.
the brightness of the sun cutting through the curtains made me groan in frustration as I woke up the next morning, I looked around the room in confusion noticing how unfamiliar it looked to me
I felt a slight movement next to me which made me freeze, I slowly looked to the side to see a sleeping Stefan and my eyes widened in shock as I carefully lifted my covers see that my body was naked
I brought my hand to my lips as I started to silently panic, I had just left with the guy my sister likes but I couldn't remember any of it or last eights hours or so
as I slightly turned I saw that he was still sleeping so I carefully sat up and slipped out of bed with out making a sound while picking up my discarded clothes from the floor before putting them on
I picked up my bag and shoes before tip toeing towards the bedroom door slightly looking back to make sure he was still asleep as the last thing I wanted was a awkward encounter with him
I crept slowly down the stairs to the second floor as I turned to walk down the other corridor to the other stairway I looked back to see if I had awoken him but to my relief I hadn't

my heart started to beat wildly as the thought that he could be awake, I looked around corridor but I couldn't see anyone and took the chance to rush down the stairs and out the door without stopping to look back
as the door shut I put down my shoes and slipped into then taking my car keys out in the process and waking towards my car before driving down the road towards home
as I drove out of the driveway, I felt relief like I haven't felt in a long time and once I was home I quietly opened the door hoping that nobody was up yet but as I walked into the hallway I met Jenna at the stairs smirking
"And where have you been all night," she asked smirk still in place
"out at a bar, I had way to much to drink so I slept at Meredith's, "I said
she just shook her head as Elena walked down the stairs, "Hey, where have you been" she asked
I just glared, "Out," I said walking past her to go up the stairs
"Hey wait," she said
I turned back around, "what do you want Elena," I asked
"Well, I was thinking of inviting Stefan and Bonnie for dinner tonight and you know I'm more of a baker than a cook so I was wondering if you would make some of your famous pasta please," she said with wide does eyes
I froze at the mention of Stefan but nodded anyway, "yeah fine I get off at four so I'll stop off at the store after my shift which is in a hour so if you don't mind" I said as I walked upstairs
"Thank you" Elena shouted
A few hours later.
I had just finished draining the pasta and was mixing in the sauce as Elena and Bonnie were talking about serving spoons and witches
It made me roll my eyes as they had no idea the reality of witches and how close they were to one but they were still naive to what goes around them in the real world and if I was being honest I hope it stays that way for a long time
"you explain it," Bonnie said, "last night I was watching nine-o, a commercial break comes on, and I'm like I bet it's that phone commercial, and sure enough, it's the guy and the girl with the bench, he flies to Paris and he flies back, they take a picture," she said
"Oh, come on, that commercial is on a constant loop," Elena said laughing
"fine, well how about this, today I'm obsessed with numbers, three numbers, 8, 14 and 22" Bonnie said "how weird is that"
"Maybe we should play the lottery," Elena said smiling
I turned around to them with a glass of water in my hand, wanting to know what on earth is going on, "what exactly are you girls talking about" I asked
Elena turned to me, "Bonnie thinks she is a witch" she said
I shot my head to her and dropped my glass, " really be serious, what would make you think that" I asked worried
"she is just going to say it's because I'm a witch," she said, "I don't want to be a witch, do you want to be a witch" she continued ignoring my question
I bent down to pick up the broken glass as Elena answered, "I don't wanna be a witch" she said
"I would," I said catching their attention, "What, It would be an amazing to have the gift of magic"
we all smile at each other before Elena was wondering where the serving spoons were at, I was about to let her know where I put them when Bonnie answered
"Middle draw on your left," Bonnie said
Elena looked at her for a moment before opening the draw to find the serving spoons
"Okay, you've been in this kitchen like a thousand time," Elena said trying to justify how bonnie knew where the spoons where
"Yeah, that's it" Bonnie said as I put the homemade pasta into a bowl along with salad in another one
before Elena could say anything more the doorbell rang and I knew that it was Stefan as Elena went to open the door I took a shaky breath hoping that he wouldn't bring last night up
I could bearly look Stefan in the eyes throughout dinner, you could laterally cut the tension in the room with a knife and it Bonnie didn't help things with her superstitions
It wasn't until the topic got onto Bonnie's family, about how they came from Salem, that the tension started to disappear and Bonnie started to warm up to Stefan
"your really good cook Elly, this is really good pasta," he said giving me a smile
I looked at him giving him a small smile, "Thanks" I said before looking away, and the doorbell rang
Elena looked to me, "are you expecting someone El" she asked
I shook my head, "no not that I know of" I said
" I wonder who it could be," she said heading to the door, which made me go to the fridge in case it was someone that would cause trouble
I heard Elena open the door, "Surprise, bonnie said you were doing dinner, so we brought desert" the familiar voice of Caroline said
I groaned as I was hoping that I was gonna have a Caroline free night as much as I could tolerate Bonnie, Caroline was an entirely different story she was defiantly the definition of a blond cheerleader
"Hope you don't mind" another man's voice said which made me shut the fridge and look around the corner to see another man with messy black hair and gorgeous blue eyes
Stefan walked straight pass me and up to the door, "What are you doing here" he demanded
he looked at Stefan and then Elena, "Waiting for Elena to invite me in" he said
Elena looked to the man, "Oh yeah, yo...." she started but Stefan cut her off
"Oh no... he can't... he can't stay.... can you Damon" he said to guy who I now new as Damon
Damon looked at Stefan in a way I could identify which peaked my interest
"get in here" Caroline demanded Damon which made me roll my eyes
Stefan looked to Elena, "we were just finishing up" he said

he smiled and looked at Stefan before coming into the house looking around before looking at Elena, " you have a beautiful home Elena" he said looking at her
I finally came into view, "It should be, It's been in our family for generations" I said
they all looked at me and Caroline just glared at me which made me just glare right back
Damon looked confused and shocked, "and who are you," he asked
I turned my gaze to him, "I'm Elly, Elena and Jeremy's older sister and you must be Stefan's older Brother Damon right" I asked
"yeah the one and only, but I had no idea that Elena a beautiful sister," he said smirking
"quit your flattery Damon I won't fall for it, you have been invited in this time Damon but don't except it all the time because next time you won't be getting in" I said sternly
"your not the one who can make that decision" Caroline said shooting me a glare
"oh yes I can after our parents died they left this house to my siblings and I and until they are eighteen I do make those decisions about what happens in this house" I said
"since we are all here now why don't we all go sit in the living area" Stefan said
we all headed into the living room and I sat down on the sofa next Bonnie while playing with my engagement ring on my finger

"So Elly tell me what brings you home, Stefan mentioned that you have been at boarding school the past eight years" he asked
I felt everyone's eyes on me which made me nervous, "it was time to come home that's all I missed my family" I said
"yeah well that's what happens when you don't call or visit them in over a year" Caroline said
I glared at her, "yeah this has got to do with you how Caroline, I don't remembers your last name being Gilbert or yeah it's not so stay out of family business" I snapped
"whatever" she snarked
"and what does you fiancée thing about you being apart for so long, will he be visiting anytime soon" Damon asked
everyone looked to me in shock and finally they noticed the ring on my finger something I don't thing they have done since I retuned home which I glad they hadn't it as it meant I didn't have to answer any question I wasn't ready for
I could feel Stefan's intense looked and I didn't have it in me to look at him because I shouldn't care what he thinks he was Elena's boyfriend
"he...um.... he wasn't able to make it, his own family needed him so we decided to spend some time with our families" I explained
"oh well I'm sure it worked out for both of you then" he said with a smirk
"oh go to hell Damon" I said with a glare and stormed out of the room.
