So I don't know if this is true but apparently, one school is saying reading, writing, and math is racist.
Math hates everyone of all ethnicities. We all know that. Race doesn't matter to math.
It's literally the definition of "Can't be racist if you hate everyone equally!"
But reading and writing?
Ya, there are books written by racists, but there's also books written by someone who isn't white, and/or who have greatly made characters of different skin colors!
Look at Percy Jackson.
I don't think Percy is white, right? He was Latino or Southern Pacific or something. He was LITERALLY THE MAIN CHARACTER!!!
Leo Valdez is Latino.
Hazel Levesque is black.
Frank was born in Canada, but has Chinese heritage.
Charles Beckendorf is black.
And they all treated one another as human, as living beings, all working together to survive.
And I'm pretty sure Magnus Chase had some people of different skin colors as well.
Ya. Those are DEFINITELY racist, I guess.
And if reading and writing is racist, and some kids actually believe this, then that removes more job opportunities for people of color to want.
