Morgana breathed deeply as her head broke the water, hauling the Doctor up as well and he grinned at her, she couldn't help the smile that curled up.

"Dearest why on earth is the pool in the library?" she asked him

"oh, it was going to be a surprise" he replied his brown hair plastered down and she took a moment to admire his form, he was still handsome as hell and she admired his green eyes.

"if my books are ruined, you're sleeping on the grating" she threatened idly

He laughed and she quickly memorised the sound of it "how are we supposed to get up?"

"Leave it to me" she requested but he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist "oh? What's this"

"we've never kissed in a pool before," he said pulling her close to him and she laughed

"we've not had a pool in the TARDIS before" she pointed out dryly, but a smile pulled at her lips "but you do bring up a good point"

"I always do," he said smugly before his lips descended on hers, she squeaked at his bold move but enjoyed it, his lips were different of course but still skilled and familiar in the way that he teased her, her fingers delved into his hair tugging and pulling a groan from his lips. Oh, yet another new sound for her to memorise. She pulled away reluctantly.

"We need to fix our TARDIS, Dearest and you need somewhere to rest," she told him, and he pouted but released her

"thank you, Dear," Morgana said as a grappling hook came floating by, she aimed it and shot it, the hook, she tugged on the rope pleased it had attached before holding the rope out to him "you first"

"thank you, sweetheart," he stole a kiss before climbing upwards, her soon following after.

"Could I have an apple? All I can think about. Apples. I love apples. Maybe I'm having a craving? That's new. Never had cravings before." He said as he sat on the edge of the TARDIS that had been tipped on its side, before reaching down and hauling her up

"Whoa. Look at that." He commented staring down into the TARDIS that had some issues, she hoped it was superficial

"long way," Morgana said "had a great view though" she winked, and he laughed a bright happy sound

"Are you two okay?" a little girl caught her attention and Morgana beamed, she had a red bobble hat on, a blue trench coat that reminded her of Paddington Bear, which was covering her nightgown and a pair of red wellies and her hands were encased in knitted mittens.

"yes, little one love the wellies," she said winking at her and the read head grinned back

"Just had a fall. All the way down there, right to the library. Hell of a climb back up." Dearest said

"You're both soaking wet." She pointed out

"We were in the swimming pool." He told her with a grin

"You said you were in the library." The little girl frowned

"So was the swimming pool," Morgana told the little girl absently as she looked around the garden, before grimacing realising, they'd destroyed the shed

"Are you a policeman? And a policewoman?" she asked

"Why? Did you call police officers?" the Doctor asked staring down at her

"Did you come about the crack in my wall?" she pressed, and she spotted the hopeful glint in her eyes

"What crack? Argh!" her Doctor cried out in pain, falling forwards and Morgana was quick to catch him both falling to the ground

"Are you all right, mister?" she asked

"No, I'm fine. It's okay. This is all perfectly norm" he was cut off as a breath of golden energy came from his mouth, it swirled around Morgana's head for a moment before disappearing into the air

"Who are you?" Amelia asked with wide eyes

The Doctor breathed deeply before looking up at her through his eyelashes "I don't know yet. I'm still cooking. Does it scare you?" Morgana watched her carefully

"No, it just looks a bit weird." She answered shrugging

"No, no, no. The crack in your wall. Does it scare you?" the Doctor asked

"Yes." She whispered

He Dearest hummed before leaping to his feet "Well then, no time to lose. I'm the Doctor this is my wife, My Morgana. Do everything we tell you, don't ask stupid questions, and don't wander off." He ordered before he turned and walked straight into a tree, Morgana looking down at him in slight concern but also amusement

"Are you all right?" the girl asked

"Early days. Steering's a bit off." The Doctor answered and Morgana helped him up, wrapping an arm around his waist in support and Amelia led them back to her house, they passed through the threshold easily, but she didn't. bouncing off the barrier, causing Dearest and the girl to turn to her

"what are you doing?" she asked in confusion

"Little one might I come in?" Morgana asked crouching to her level, which wasn't far for her

"Why are you asking?" the red head responded suspiciously

"I'm supernatural, I require an invitation" Morgana confessed to her, she'd been handling everything well so far

"What kind?" she questioned

"The Queen" she whispered conspiratorially

"prove it" the girl demanded

She flashed her eyes and fangs and little Amelia hesitantly reached up and put a forefinger against her fang, Morgana was amused and allowed it, her eyes flicking over to the Doctor who was staring at her intensely...oh she knew that look.

"ow" she hissed staring in fascination at the bead of blood on her finger

"Are you scared?" she wondered; she knew the amazing capacity of children, but she always worried she pushed too far

"no" she scowled "you can come in" she added

"thank you little one" she smiled and stepped over the threshold

"If you're a doctor, why does your box say Police?" the girl asked as she handed an apple over to the Doctor who bit into it before spitting it out

"That's disgusting. What is that?" he demanded of her

"An apple." She replied with Morgana nodded

"Apple's rubbish. I hate apples." He complained

"I'll add it to the list" Morgana promised him as he placed it on the table

"You said you loved them." The little girl said

"No, no, no. I like yoghurt. Yoghurt's my favourite. Give me yoghurt." He ordered and Morgana rolled her eyes as she got him a pot from the fridge, he poured it in his mouth before spitting it out into the sink

"I hate yoghurt. It's just stuff with bits in," he complained to Morgana

"You said it was your favourite." The girl frowned

"he says a lot of things little one" Morgana informed her "best to just smile and nod"

He rolled his eyes "New mouth. New rules. It's like eating after cleaning your teeth. Everything tastes wrong. Argh!" Morgana hovered near him as he twitched violently, she hated the regeneration process, how it hurt him.

"What is it? What's wrong with you?" she stepped forward in worry

"Wrong with me? It's not my fault. Why can't you give me any decent food? You're Scottish. Fry something." He instructed as he straightened in his chair and Morgana stepped in

"absolutely not, she's an eight-year-old little girl, I will fry something, might you fetch us some towels to dry off?" she asked, and the girl nodded heading off to get them towels as Morgana started frying bacon, Dearest taking the towels, tossing one aside as he worked on her hair first, kissing her cheek lovingly, this incarnation seemed just as touchy as the last, or perhaps a little more. she considered as he nuzzled her neck.

She shooed him to sit down as she plated the bacon and put it on the table for him

"Ah, bacon!" he cried with childish glee, happily taking a bite before grimacing and hurrying to the sink to spit it out

"Bacon. That's bacon. Are you trying to poison me?" he demanded off Morgana "you're usually a better cook"

"I'm going to blame that on the regeneration" she growled at him as she grabbed the saucepan to cook some beans as he towelled his own hair, the girl watching them, she reminded herself to leave some cash...actually reaching into her pocket she pulled out forty pounds and put it on the side.

"Ah, you see? Beans." He grinned putting them into his mouth, but they got spat out into the sink "Beans are evil. Bad, bad beans. Bread and butter. Now you're talking."

He took a bite before his face twisted and then he stormed to the front door tossing the plate like a saucer "And stay out!" there was the screech of a cat

"Dearest!" she reprimanded him

"evil" he told her flatly and she rolled her eyes

"rather you were sleeping" she grumbled

"We've got some carrots." The girl piped in, trying to be helpful

"Carrots? Are you insane? No. Wait. Hang on. I know what I need. I need, I need, I need fish fingers and custard." He decided on nodding his head before shoving it into Morgana's arms who rolled her eyes but proceeded to cook it, she handed him his food before breaking out the ice cream for herself and the girl. She sat next to her Dearest who contentedly dipped the fish fingers into a bowl of custard before offering it to her, she sighed and took a bite to humour him.

"Funny." The girl giggled

"Am I? Good." He asked pleased "Funny's good. What's your name?"

"Amelia Pond," Amelia said

"that's a beautiful name isn't it dearest?" she nudged him, and he nodded

"Oh, that's a brilliant name. Amelia Pond. Like a name in a fairy tale. Are we in Scotland, Amelia?" he asked her

"No. We had to move to England. It's rubbish." Amelia complained

"I can understand that, when I was young, I had to move from Norway to America but what of your mother or father? Are they upstairs I would've thought that we'd woken them with our ruckus by now" Morgana wondered, her eyes flicking upwards, she hadn't heard heartbeats either and who left a little girl on her own?

"I don't have a mum and dad. Just an aunt." Amelia answered

"I don't even have an aunt." The Doctor responded to her

"You're lucky." Amelia said and she laughed in amusement

"I know. So, your aunt, where is she?" the Doctor asked her

"She's out." She shrugged unconcerned

"And she left you all alone?" the Doctor said as they traded looks of concern

"I'm not scared," Amelia said defiantly

He grinned "Course, you're not. You're not scared of anything. Box falls out of the sky, man and woman fall out of a box, man eats fish custard and feeding it to his supernatural wife, and look at you, just sitting there. So, you know what I think?" he asked

"What?" Amelia asked

"Must be a hell of a scary crack in your wall." He said and she paled and nodded slightly

"we can take a look at it, little one" Morgana said

"okay" Amelia said quietly and led them to her bedroom, Morgana looking around in interest before she spotted the crack, which was about three to four feet long, shaped slightly like a W.

"You've had some cowboys in here. Not actual cowboys, though that can happen." The Doctor commented

"I used to hate apples, so my mum put faces on them," Amelia explained to them shyly before handing an apple to her Dearest which had a smiley face cut into it, Morgana smiled softly

"how sweet you are little one," she said

He smiled at the apple as well before putting the apple away "She sounds good, your mum. I'll keep it for later. This wall is solid, and the crack doesn't go all the way through it. So here's a thing. Where's the draught coming from?" he asked as he scanned it with his sonic

"Wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey. You know what the crack is?" he asked them absently

"What?" Amelia asked before she could

"It's a crack. But I'll tell you something funny. If you knocked this wall down, the crack would stay put, because the crack isn't in the wall." He said stepping backwards

"then where Dearest?" she asked him

"Everywhere. In everything. It's a split in the skin of the world. Two parts of space and time that should never have touched, pressed together right here in the wall of your bedroom. Sometimes, can you hear?" he trailed off looking down at Amelia

"A voice. Yes." She nodded her head as Morgana heard a vague growling, The Doctor emptying a glass of water before placing it on the crack, Morgana pressed her ear against the crack as well

"Prisoner Zero has escaped." A voice said

"Prisoner Zero?" the Doctor asked

"who's Prisoner Zero?" Morgana wondered

"Prisoner Zero has escaped. That's what I heard. What does it mean?" Amelia questioned

"Prisoner Zero has escaped." The voice repeated

"It means that on the other side of this wall, there's a prison and they've lost a prisoner. And you know what that means?" he asked as Morgana looked around the room with new eyes

"What?" Amelia questioned looking between them

"You need a better wall. The only way to close the breach is to open it all the way. The forces will invert, and it'll snap itself shut. Or..." he trailed off

"What?" she pressed

"You know when grown-ups tell you everything's going to be fine, and you think they're probably lying to make you feel better?" he asked her as he shot a look at Morgana who nodded in agreement

"Yes." She nodded

"Everything's going to be fine." They said together as Morgana took one of her hands and he took the other, his other hand aiming the sonic screwdriver at the crack, which widened and flooded the bedroom with bright light

"Prisoner Zero has escaped. Prisoner Zero has escaped." A loud voice called

"Hello? Hello?" the Doctor called, and a giant blue eye looked at them through the crack

"What's that?" Amelia asked as a bolt of light went to the Doctor, and he doubled over before the crack closed again

"There, you see? Told you it would close. Good as new." He said absently as he thought furiously

"What's that thing? Was that Prisoner Zero?" Amelia asked

"no, it wasn't" Morgana told her

"I think that was Prisoner Zero's guard. Whatever it was, it sent me a message. Psychic paper. Takes a lovely little message." He pulled out the paper and read out loud "Prisoner Zero has escaped. But why tell us? Unless." He paused

"Unless what?" Amelia asked looking worried

"Unless Prisoner Zero escaped through here. But he couldn't have. We'd know." Morgana said, she hadn't heard anything or seen anything...a damper?

"something's wrong Dearest" Morgana said lowly, her back straightening as she stilled, feeling eyes on her back but fading? there but not? an itch at the back of her mind...

"yes, I feel it too, It's difficult. Brand new me. Nothing works yet. But there's something I'm missing. In the corner of my eye." He said starting to turn his head, but the TARDIS cloister bell tolled, and their attention was diverted once more

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" he cried grabbing her hand and they ran out to the TARDIS

"ah, too much going on" Morgana complained

"we've got to get back in there. The engines are phasing. It's going to burn!" the Doctor cried out

"But it's just a box. How can a box have engines?" Amelia asked

"It's not a box. It's a time machine." He answered absently

"What, a real one? You've got a real time machine?" she questioned in excitement her eyes wide in disbelief

"yes, real time machine" Morgana promised

"Not for much longer if we can't get her stabilised. Five-minute hop into the future should do it." The Doctor directed towards Morgana and she nodded in agreement

"Can I come?" Amelia begged and the two adults froze for a moment

He paused looking at Morgana they shared a look, but she nodded her head, she wouldn't let a little girl be left like this, best she had proper supervision- by her and occasionally Dearest and they'd raised children before... He then crouched to her level and spoke gently "Not safe in here. Not yet. Five minutes. Give me five minutes, I'll be right back."

"People always say that," Amelia said looking down at them, a sad look on her face

"Am I people? Do I even look like people? Trust me. I'm the Doctor and this is My Morgana, trust her with everything-she'll never let you down" he promised, and she nodded her head solemnly

"Geronimo!" the Doctor cried jumping into the TARDIS, and she shook her head fondly

"it'll be alright Amelia, we'll come back but tell you what" she said pulling out her phone and called her children "I need you to come to Cokeworth and watch over an Amelia Pond understand? Until I return, ensure no harm comes to her" she winked at Amelia

"I get my own guardian angel?" Amelia asked in excitement

"your very own" Morgana promised, tapping her button nose before leaping into the TARDIS hearing her Dearest call for her, the spaceship disappearing the next second.

Amelia was fifteen years old and walking home from school, Mels had gotten yet another detention and Rory was kind enough to stay, usually he'd walk her home, make sure she was safe at home, he was such a lovely bloke and every time she looked at him, she felt odd, her heart fluttered...shame he was gay. She had yet another therapy session about the raggedy man and the supernatural Queen but honestly, she was beginning to have doubts, it had almost been ten years and yet still no sign for them, maybe it was time to grow up...

A scream was ripped from her throat as she was grabbed and shoved into an alleyway within a split second.

"What a pretty thing you are but I am so hungry" the wild man growled his veins bulging underneath his eyes

"get off me! Who do you think you are?!" Amy shouted trying to squirm her way out of his grip, but they were like iron bands, her eyes widened as his K9's lengthened and sharpened, a brief flash of a memory, of golden eyes and a playful fanged grin, a sharp pinch on her forefinger and a bead of blood welling.

As his fangs were about to sink into her neck, she screamed again and lashed out with her foot, desperation running through her.

"now, you don't touch ladies like that, and you never touch one of mother's protected either" a voice drawled before the wild man was ripped from her, his tangled brown hair and scuffed trench coat being replaced by a black-haired man with a leather jacket, a brief scuffle ensued before the strange man was holding a heart in his hand, her attacker collapsed at his feet.

"deal with this brother?" the man asked another who had appeared in the blink of the eye he was identical to him, in every way before her saviour turned to her

"who are you?" she demanded her Scottish brogue coming out

"My mother sent us for protection, she asked me to ensure you came to no harm and my brother is my shadow, she'll be most upset if I fail the task" he pouted

"you sort of did Ivar and I'm not YOUR shadow, your MY shadow" his twin pointed out coming back, she determinedly ignored the flaming dumpster that held the man that attacked her.

"other way around brother, I'm the older one and I did not Leif! I mean she's not harmed" he then paused and spun towards her a panicked look on his face

"you aren't, are you?"

"no, I'm fine" she answered he nodded and scooped her up, the world spun around her before she was gently set on her feet on the porch of her house

"this is my house" she said dumbly, confused.

"that it is but we aren't supposed to be seen sooo...don't mention it?" Leif or Ivar asked her

"and to your earlier comment, brother, mother found us at the same time, and we don't definitively know which one of us is older" they carried on their argument

"Not so, Uncle Finn said mother picked me up first, ergo I'M the elder" he said smacking his twin around the back of the head before looking at her expectantly

"sure" she answered blinking

"but Aunt Bekah said mother clapped eyes on ME first so I'm the eldest" he argued rubbing the back of his head

"good, we'll be popping in every now and again but don't worry you won't see us" the twin on the left promised while the other one scrolled on their phone, they nodded their heads at her before disappearing in the blink of an eye.

So, she was right! They were real! She felt hope spark in her chest, she was still going to give them hell when they got back though she narrowed her eyes as she turned and entered her home.

Morgana yanked her Dearest out of the TARDIS that was still smoking

"Amelia! Amelia, we worked out what it was. I know what I was missing! You've got to get out of there!" the Doctor yelled

"Amelia! Little one! Where are you?!" Morgana called out in worry chasing his heels into the house

"Amelia? Amelia, are you all right? Are you there?" the Doctor called as they ran up the stairs to her bedroom

"Prisoner Zero's here. Prisoner Zero is here! Prisoner Zero is here! Do you understand me? Prisoner Zero is..." she heard him fall silent and turned towards him only for a cricket bat to smack her upside the head. Nice swing.

Morgana groaned as she revived, hearing Dearest groan as well, she glanced up to see a woman dressed as a policewoman, using her radio.

"White male, mid-twenties and white female, early twenties, breaking and entering. Send me some back-up. I've got him restrained. Oi! You two, sit still." She ordered

"does that skirt meet regulations or are you just special? And I wouldn't count on these keeping us restrained, furthermore we were invited, verbal and everything- so not really breaking or entering as the invitation was never revoked" Morgana drawled and received a glare

"Cricket bat. I'm getting cricket bat." He complained grimacing

"morning, Dearest- I look younger than you, apparently and it was a cricket bat" she smirked at him before rattling her side of the handcuff making him look down "and isn't this a familiar sight? Though the third party is new"

"you look younger and more radiant day in, day out and I'd rather the third party wasn't here" he glared up at the policewoman

"You were breaking and entering." She informed them

"I thought we'd discussed that officer" Morgana said putting emphasis on the last word, the skirt showed she wasn't an actual officer unless the rules had changed and miniskirts were the officer's new way of combating crime.

"Well, that's much better. Brand new me. Whack on the head, just what I needed." He said rolling his eyes

"Do you want to shut up now? I've got back up on the way." She instructed them

"Hang on, no, wait. You're a policewoman." He pointed out

"And you're breaking and entering. You see how this works?" she asked him

"IN-VUH-TAY-SHUHN" Morgana spelt out "now, where's the little one?"

"But what are you doing here? Where's Amelia?" the Doctor said panicked

"Amelia Pond?" the policewoman asked straightening

"yes, name like a fairy-tale, the little one with the red hair" Morgana snapped irate "where the hell are my children? I told them to care for her! Where's my phone?"

"to be fair sweetheart you've probably got them running a thousand errands, half of which you haven't even told them yet and Yeah, Amelia. Little Scottish girl. Where is she? We promised her five minutes, but the engines were phasing. I suppose I must have gone a bit far. Has something happened to her?" he asked urgently

"Amelia Pond hasn't lived here in a long time." The policewoman said

"How long?" the Doctor demanded staring up at her intensely

The woman hesitated but then answered, "Six months."

"then where is she! She's an eight-year-old little girl! Where the hell is that useless aunt of hers?" Morgana demanded "is no one else concerned about her apart from us?!"

"No. No. No. No, I can't be six months late. I said five minutes. I promised. What happened to her? What happened to Amelia Pond?" he demanded

"Sarge, it's me again. Hurry it up. These two know something about Amelia Pond." The woman said into the radio

"she's missing?!" Morgana hissed

"I need to speak to whoever lives in this house right now." The Doctor insisted

"I live here." She replied

"But you're the police." The Doctor said confused

"Yes, and this is where I live. Have you got a problem with that?" the woman demanded

"it's got four walls and a door, of course he has a problem with it" Morgana said

"How many rooms?" he asked her

"I'm sorry, what?" the woman wondered

"On this floor. How many rooms on this floor? Count them for me now." He told her, concerned for the woman, even if she did hit him and his wife with a cricket bat

"Why?" she asked him

"Because it will change your life." He answered simply

"Five. One, two, three, four, five." She counted off not paying attention but humouring his odd request

"Six." Her Dearest corrected quietly

"Six?" she responded confused

"yes six, look" Morgana told her

"Look where?" she asked

"Exactly where you don't want to look. Where you never want to look. The corner of your eye. Look behind you." The Doctor told her ominously

"That's, that is not possible. How's that possible?" she asked in shock

"it's a filter," Morgana said

"There's a perception filter all-round the door. Sensed it the last time I was here. Should've seen it." He grunted in frustration

"new body Dearest it's bound to take some time" she assured him

"But that's a whole room. That's a whole room I've never even noticed." Amy said

"The filter stops you noticing. Something came a while ago to hide. It's still hiding, and you need to uncuff us now." The Doctor ordered

"I don't have the key. I lost it." She replied heading towards the room

"How can you have lost it? Stay away from that door! Do not touch that door! Listen to me, do not open that. Why does no-one ever listen to me? Do I just have a face that nobody listens to?" he asked Morgana with a cute pout

"kind of Dearest but it's handsome do you want me to break the cuffs?" Morgana replied, and he preened, he was handsome, floppy brown hair above green eyes, sculpted cheekbones and a chiselled jawline. He was very handsome, her eyes hovered on his lips for a moment

"no, should be fine and again a face no one listens to. My screwdriver, where is it?" he asked looking around

"I'm not sure Dearest" she said

"Silver thing, blue at the end. Where did it go?" he called to the woman as she entered the room

"There's nothing here." She called back

"Whatever's there stopped you seeing the room." He explained exasperated "What makes you think you could see it? Now please, just get out."

"Silver, blue at the end?" she called to them

"yes, it's his screwdriver" Morgana said

"It's here."

They traded concerned looks before the Doctor spoke "Must have rolled under the door."

"Yeah. Must have. And then it must have jumped up on the table." Amy said quietly their heightened hearing picking her words up easily

"Get out of there." The Doctor said worriedly "Get out of there! Get out!"

"Get out of there!" Morgana ordered

"What is it? What are you doing?" he demanded

"There's nothing here, but..." she trailed off

"Corner of your eye." Morgana reminded her

"What is it?" she wondered

"Don't try to see it. If it knows you've seen it, it will kill you. Don't look at it. Do not look." He instructed only for a scream to come out the room

"yea, she looked" Morgana rolled her eyes

"Get out!" the Doctor shouted, and the woman came running out holding the sonic

"Give me that." He ordered locking the door and then trying to free them

"Come on. What's the bad alien done to you?" he cooed at the sonic

"Will that door hold it?" she asked them

"Oh, yeah, yeah, of course. It's an interdimensional multiform from outer space. They're all terrified of wood." He snapped as he hit the sonic trying to get it to work, rolling her eyes she snapped the handcuffs the bracelet still around her wrist

"How did you do that?" the woman asked

"I'm extremely strong" she replied absently

"What's that? What's it doing?" she asked

"I don't know. Getting dressed? Run. Just go. Your back up's coming and I have my wife, so I'll be fine" The Doctor reassured her

"There is no backup," Amy informed him

"I heard you on the radio. You called for backup." The Doctor pointed out

"I was pretending. It's a pretend radio." She told him

"he's very oblivious" Morgana helped her out

"You're a policewoman." He said as he looked between them, not getting it

"I'm a kissogram!" she shouted taking off her cap and long red hair fell down, the door-busting open to reveal a workman in overalls and tool belt, with a black dog

"AH I knew you weren't a policewoman!" Morgana cried triumphantly

"not now sweetheart" The Doctor said

"But it's just..." she trailed off

"No, it isn't. Look at the faces." He replied

"oh, not very well done" Morgana commented as the man barked

"What? I'm sorry, but what?" she demanded

"It's all one creature. One creature disguised as two. Clever old multi-form. A bit of a rush job, though. Got the voice a bit muddled, did you? Mind you, where did you get the pattern from? You'd need a psychic link, a live feed. How did you fix that?" the Doctor asked the creature in curiosity

"Stay, boy! Her and us, we're safe. Want to know why? She sent for back up." The Doctor bluffed

"I didn't send for back-up!" she argued

"it was a bluff to save our lives" Morgana groaned in annoyance

"that's why we're safe. Alone, we're not a threat to you. If we had back up, you'd have to kill us." The Doctor explained hurriedly

"Attention, Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded. Attention Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded." The sound of the prison guard who had warned them about Prisoner Zero said

"What's that?" the fake policewoman asked them

"Well, that would be back up. Okay, one more time. We do have back up and that's definitely why we're safe." The Doctor nodded decisively

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated."

"Well, safe apart from, you know, incineration." Her Dearest tried to find the silver lining

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated."

"right, time to flee" Morgana decided pushing the fake policewoman and her Dearest ahead of her

"Kissogram?" the Doctor demanded as they headed out into the garden, him working on the remains of their handcuffs, falling off into the grass

"Yes, a kissogram. Work through it." She rolled her eyes

"already have," Morgana said

"Why'd you pretend to be a policewoman?" he asked her

"You two broke into my house. It was this or a French maid. What's going on? Tell me. Tell me!" she demanded of them

He sighed and turned to her before explaining rapidly "An alien convict is hiding in your spare room disguised as a man and a dog, and some other aliens are about to incinerate your house. Any questions?" the Doctor stared at her

"Yes." She nodded

"us too." He agreed before trying to open their TARDIS "No, no, no, no! Don't do that, not now! She's still rebuilding. Not letting us in."

"kicking her won't help" Morgana cautioned as he kicked the door

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." The prisoner guard reminded them

"Come on," she said, and they followed her until the Doctor stopped again

"No, wait, hang on. Wait, wait, wait, wait. The shed. We destroyed that shed last time we were here. Smashed it to pieces." The Doctor said

"So, there's a new one. Let's go." She dismissed it

"but it's old" Morgana said staring at the weathered shed

"exactly the new one's got old." He then licked the shed door, and Morgana shook her head so he still had that tendency "It's ten years old at least. Twelve years. I'm not six months late, I'm twelve years late."

"He's coming." She warned them but Morgana waved her hand carelessly

"It matters not, why did you lie to us?" she demanded

The Doctor nodded "You said six months. Why did you say six months?"

"We've got to go." She said and Morgana heard her heart flutter

He wouldn't budge though "This matters. This is important. Why did you say six months?"

"Why did you say five minutes!" she shouted back, and Morgana's eyes widened

"Ah" Morgana murmured

"What?" he said

"Come on," Amelia said

"What?" he repeated

"Come on!" she shouted

"What?" he looked at her and she grabbed his hand

"come along Dearest, you'll get it eventually" she promised

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." The Atraxi said, the Doctor having searched it as they tried to figure out prisoner zero

"You're Amelia." He realised as they came to the centre of the village

"And you two are late," Amelia replied

"Amelia Pond. You're the little girl." He said in disbelief

"how you've grown" Morgana commented

"I'm Amelia and you're late." Amelia glared at them

"It wasn't intentional" Morgana defended them

"oh, don't get me started on you!" Amelia snapped at her

"What happened?" the Doctor asked her

"Twelve years." She started walking off

"You hit us with a cricket bat." The Doctor complained

"Twelve years." She retorted

"A cricket bat." He grumbled rubbing the back of his head

"Twelve years and four psychiatrists." She shot back

"Four?" he paused for a moment in shock

"I kept biting them," Amelia admitted blushing and Morgana laughed

"nice one" she praised "I think the bat was a little deserved, Dearest. Benjamin was a biter; I think it's because he saw his family constantly doing it but it was a little odd for an eight year old but I'd just gotten him out of a bad situation" she hadn't raised Benjamin and Issac and Cecilia from babies but from the age of five when a witch ancestor of theirs had gotten in contact and pulled a favour that was owed. They had been born heretics and the coven had attacked, vilified and ostracised innocent children. So Morgana had rocked up, taken the little ones and left Kol to dispense justice however he desired.

"Why?" he pressed in curiosity

"They said you two weren't real," Amelia admitted

"I assure you we are and what did I do?" Morgana questioned,

"you had me stalked!" Amelia retorted

"How did you know about that?" Morgana asked clicking her tongue, you tell your children to not be seen and then they are. Amateurs. She'd taught them herself how to hunt and stalk. Pulling out her phone she shot them a text asking them if they needed a reminder on how to be vampires.

"they turned up, saved me from some person who attacked me" she answered

"you were an eight-year-old little girl left on your own by a neglectful aunt, yes I had you stalked, and I'll remind you I was right to have it done otherwise who knows what would have happened when you were attacked" Morgana replied rolling her eyes

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated. Repeat." the voice of the prison guard came from an ice cream van and Morgana tilted her head in curiosity

"No, no, no, come on. What? We're being staked out by an ice-cream van." Amelia looked at them

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." the atraxi said

The Doctor hurried over his hand clasping his wife's as he interrogated the ice cream man "What's that? Why are you playing that?"

"It's supposed to be Claire De Lune." He replied baffled and it was also coming from the radio

"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated. Repeat. Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." She heard it from a woman's mobile phone and a joggers iPod

"Doctor, Morgana, what's happening?" Amelia asked

"Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated."

"Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." The TV said as her Dearest broke

"Hello! Sorry to burst in. We're doing a special on television faults in this area. Also crimes. Let's have a look oh and invite the wife in, will you?" he gestured to Morgana who was lounging against the doorway

"invite the wife in" Morgana grumbled in annoyance rolling her eyes

"I was just about to phone, please come in dear. It's on every channel. Oh, hello, Amy dear. Are you a policewoman now?" the lady asked Amelia as Morgana stepped over into the house, looking around in vague interest

"Well, sometimes," Amelia said shrugging

"I thought you were a nurse." The lady asked her

"I can be a nurse." Amelia deflected

"Or actually a nun?" she wondered, and Morgana grinned cheekily at Amy, wriggling her eyebrows

"I dabble." Amelia admitted shortly blushing, how embarrassing was this?

"well, jack of all trades and all that" Morgana teased her lightly

"Amy, who are your friends?" the lady looked at her and her husband in interest

"Who's Amy? You were Amelia." The Doctor stated in confusion

"Yeah? Now I'm Amy." She retorted

"Amelia Pond. That was a great name." he was baffled

"it was a beautiful one" Morgana agreed

"Bit fairy tale." She said quietly crossing her arms defensively

"I know you, don't I? I've seen you somewhere before and you as well dearie" the lady looked at her in curiosity

"Perhaps I have one of those faces" Morgana entertained Gods know whether they'd met before she couldn't always keep track

"Not me. Brand new face First time on, my wife likes it" he said as he stretched his features for the woman "And what sort of job's a kissogram?" he turned to Amelia again

"I go to parties and I kiss people. With outfits. It's a laugh." She defended herself

"You were a little girl five minutes ago." The Doctor pointed out

"You're worse than my aunt," Amelia complained

"I'm the Doctor. I'm worse than everybody's aunt." He said fiercely before turning to Morgana "And that is not how I'm introducing myself."

"too late Dearest, any sex appeal you had has suddenly disappeared" Morgana commented

"I'll get it back soon enough" he replied smugly with a wink

"yea you will" she encouraged a smirk pulling at her lips, eyeing him up, this incarnation was a bit more cocky and just as cheeky as the others, she liked it.

"Repetez. Le Prisonnier. Zero wird der menschliche." the atraxi said in different languages but the same warning

"oh, different languages," Morgana said in interest

"Okay, so it's everywhere, in every language. They're broadcasting to the whole world." He sat back on his haunches before looking out of the window

"What's up there? What are you looking for?" Amelia asked him

"Okay. Planet this size, two poles, your basic molten core? They're going to need a forty percent fission blast." The Doctor explained as a young man came in, the Doctor making him the next victim, going onto the balls of his feet, comparing height before dropping back down "But they'll have to power up first, won't they? So, assuming a medium-sized starship, that's 20 minutes. What do you think?"

"hmm, twenty minutes" Morgana said "also your shorter"

He tilted his head "twenty minutes? Yeah, twenty minutes. We've got twenty minutes" He nodded in agreement "and he's clearly too tall"

"Twenty minutes to what?" Amelia asked

"Are you the Doctor? And the Queen?" the man asked looking between them in shock

"they are, aren't they? He's the Doctor! And she's the Queen! The Raggedy Doctor and his Queen. All those cartoons you did when you were little. The Raggedy Doctor and his Queen. It's them." The Lady said

"well thank the Gods I'm not referenced as 'raggedy' small favours," Morgana said

"Shut up." Amy hissed under her breath

"Cartoons?" the Doctor asked

"Gran, it's them, isn't it? It's really them!" the man said in shock

"Jeff, shut up. Twenty minutes to what?" Amelia turned to them

"The human residence will be incinerated. Repeat." The prison guard said

"The human residence. They're not talking about your house, they're talking about the planet. Somewhere up there, there's a spaceship, and it's going to incinerate the planet." The Doctor said groaning

"oh, it couldn't be easy could it?" she wondered

"will be incinerated. Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." The alien on the TV said

"Twenty minutes to the end of the world." He breathed

"Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate 'the human residence, or the human residence will be incinerated." It repeated

"we've done it in less time" Morgana reassured him

"oh, yes, remember the spoon and the rubber chicken?" he asked with a laugh

"What is this place? Where are we?" the Doctor questioned Amelia as they walked through the village hand in hand

"Leadworth," Amelia answered as she rushed to keep pace with them

"Where's the rest of it?" he demanded looking around the place

"This is it," Amelia replied waving her hands around

"Is there an airport?" he asked her

"No," she responded

"A nuclear power station?" he wondered

"No." she shook her head

"Even a little one?" he pleaded slightly, pouting

"No." she denied

"it is a village Dearest" she reminded him gently

He huffed and asked, "Nearest city?"

"Gloucester. Half an hour by car." Amy informed them

"We don't have half an hour. Do we have a car?" he questioned

"No," Amy said

"I can run you" she offered "be there in ten minutes? Probably less"

He shook his head "Well, that's good. Fantastic, that is. Twenty minutes to save the world and I've got a post office. And it's shut, ah, at least I have my wife- everything will be alright because I have her. What is that?" he pointed at the pond

"It's a duck pond." She answered looking confused at the conversation jump

"Why aren't there any ducks?" he asked

"I don't know. There's never any ducks." She shrugged her shoulders

"Then how do you know it's a duck pond?" Morgana wondered in curiosity

"It just is. Is it important, the duck pond?" she demanded but her attention was diverted when the Doctor clutched his chest in pain, and she cupped his face carefully, her thumb stroking his cheek

"I don't know. Why would I know? This is too soon. I'm not ready, I'm not done yet." He groaned in pain

"it's alright Dearest, I'm here maybe, maybe you should rest? I can handle this" she reassured him

"I know you can, sweetheart, you're amazing but I won't leave you, can't" he replied stubbornly

"What's happening? Why's it going dark?" Amelia diverted them from a domestic as a black disc covered the sun like a total eclipse "So what's wrong with the sun?"

"Nothing. You're looking at it through a forcefield. They've sealed off your upper atmosphere. Now they're getting ready to boil the planet. Oh, and here they come. The human race. The end comes, as it was always going to, down a video phone." He sneered slightly

"This isn't real, is it? This is some kind of big wind up." Amelia shook her head

"Why would we wind you up?" the Doctor questioned

"We aren't Amelia" Morgana said

"You told me you two had a time machine." Amelia pointed out

"we do" Morgana answered

"And you believed us." He responded

"Then I grew up." She retorted

The Doctor snorted derisively "Oh, you never want to do that. No. Hang on. Shut up. Wait. I missed it. I saw it and I missed it. What did I see? I saw. What did I see? I saw, I saw, I saw" he paused for a moment his thoughts running wild before speaking again

"Twenty minutes. I can do it. Twenty minutes, the planet burns. Run to your loved ones and say goodbye or stay and help us." He spoke

"No." Amelia denied

"I'm sorry?" he apologised

"No!" she snapped

"Amy, no, no, what are you doing?" he demanded as Amelia dragged the Doctor to a car by his tie, Morgana hovered for a moment indecisiveness running through her, one hand a grown woman was daring to touch what was hers- if anyone was going to drag him around like a dog on a leash it would be her- but on the other, five minutes ago she was a little girl and this was sort of funny. She watched as Amelia slammed his tie into the car door, taking the key from the driver and locking it.

"Are you out of your mind? A little help?" he demanded of them

"well...she was a little girl five minutes ago! This is confusing! I don't hurt children!" she defended herself

"Who are you two?" Amelia looked between them

"You know who we are" the Doctor said

She hesitated but shook her head "No, really. Who are you?"

"Look at the sky. End of the world, twenty minutes." He reminded her

"Well, better talk quickly, then." She replied

"always stubborn" Morgana rolled her eyes

"Amy, I am going to need my car back." The driver requested

"Yes, in a bit." She waved off

"go and have coffee" Morgana compelled him

"Right, yes." The man replied doing as he was told

"Catch." The Doctor said tossing her the apple he'd stowed away earlier "I'm the Doctor this is my Morgana. I'm a time traveller as is my wife- who's the supernatural Queen, a tribrid of a wolf, witch, vampire. Everything we told you twelve years ago is true. We're real. What's happening in the sky is real, and if you don't let us go right now, everything you've ever known is over." He said pleading with her slightly

"I don't believe you." Amelia denied

"and yet your still listening" Morgana pointed out

"Just twenty minutes. Just believe us for twenty minutes. Look at it. Fresh as the day you gave it to me. And you know it's the same one. Amy, believe for twenty minutes." He requested and Amelia unlocked the car door.

"What do we do?" Amelia asked them, looking determined

"Stop that nurse." He ordered and Morgana ran onto the village green, stealing his phone and handing it over to her Dearest who took it with a kiss on her cheek

"The sun's going out, and you're photographing a man and a dog. Why?" he asked the man

"Amy." The nurse said

"Hi! Oh, this is Rory, he's a friend." Amy introduced them to each other

"Boyfriend." Rory quickly corrected

"Kind of boyfriend." She argued and Morgana arched an eyebrow

"Amy," Rory complained

"Man, and dog. Why?" he asked

"quick as you can please, the world is ending" Morgana smiled at him

"Oh my God, it's them," Rory said in shock

"Just answer his question, please," Amelia begged

"It's them, though. The Doctor and his Queen. The Raggedy Doctor and his Queen." He repeated

"I like how you reference me as his Queen" Morgana said pleased

"Yeah, they came back," Amelia told him

"But they were a story. They were a game." He argued

"Man, and dog. Why? Tell me now." He snapped losing patience

"Sorry." Rory apologised "Because he can't be there. Because he's"

"In a hospital, in a coma." They said in unison

"Yeah," Rory said awkwardly

"Knew it. Multiform, you see? Disguise itself as anything, but it needs a life feed. A psychic link with a living but dormant mind." He said turning towards a man who was barking at them

"This feels offensive" Morgana said

"Prisoner Zero." The Doctor greeted

"What? There's a Prisoner Zero too?" Rory asked trying to catch up

"Yes," Amelia said as one of the eyeball spaceships came down

"See, that ship up there is scanning this area for non-terrestrial technology. And nothing says non-terrestrial like a sonic screwdriver." He bragged making all the streetlights explode, the car alarms going off and she rose an eyebrow at the fire engine going past on its own, its siren's blaring.

"Oi, come back here! Come back!" the firemen yelled as they chased it, Morgana watching in amusement

"I think someone's going to notice, don't you?" her Dearest asked smirking blowing up a red telephone box but then his sonic exploded

"No, no! No, don't do that!" he complained

"Look, it's going." Rory pointed out as the ship flew off

"No, come back. He's here! Come back! He's here. Prisoner Zero is here. Come back, he's here! Prisoner Zero is..." he trailed off in defeat as Prisoner Zero blurred and disappeared down a drain cover

"Doctor! The drain. It just sort of melted and went down the drain." Amelia told them

"Well, of course it did," Morgana complained

"What do we do now?" she asked

"It's hiding in human form. We need to drive it into the open. No Tardis, no screwdriver, seventeen minutes. Come on, think. Think!" he hit himself in the head and Morgana caught his hand

"no harming yourself Dearest" she chided in concern and he looked at her apologetically

"So that thing, that hid in my house for twelve years?" Amelia asked in disbelief

"Twelve years is nothing, multiforms can live for millennia, this is just a pit-stop" Morgana waved a hand dismissively

"So how come you show up again on the same day that lot do? The same minute!" Amelia demanded

"They're looking for him, but they followed me. They saw me through the crack, got a fix, they're only late because I am." He answered

"What's he on about?" Rory asked

"Nurse boy, give me your phone." The Doctor ordered

"it's Rory, Dearest" she reminded him

"How can they be real? They were never real." Rory argued and Morgana rolled her eyes

"Phone. Now. Give me." He demanded and Rory handed it over

"They were just a game. We were kids. You made me dress up as him, you dressed up as her and bossed me about" Rory said as The Doctor flicked through the images on the phone

"These photos, they're are all coma patients?" he asked ignoring their conversation

"Yeah." Rory nodded

He shook his head "No, they're all the multiform. Eight comas, eight disguises for Prisoner Zero."

"He had a dog, though. There's a dog in a coma?" Amelia wondered

"Well, the coma patient dreams he's walking a dog, Prisoner Zero gets a dog. Laptop! Your friend, what was his name? Not him, the good-looking one." The Doctor said dismissively

"Thanks," Rory complained

"Jeff," Amelia answered

"Oh, thanks." He rolled his eyes

"oi, he's handsome" Morgana interjected "all dressed up to play nurse, how fun" she purred, and the Doctor froze

"excuse me?" he demanded staring at her intensely

"well, he is handsome...and you know I like roleplay" Morgana winked

"his nose is massive and he's skinny like a rat" the Doctor huffed glaring at him "my wife, ergo you should be fawning over me"

"oh, this one is jealous as well" she grinned happily "don't we have a planet to save?"

"that comes after you in order of importance" he responded, and she preened happily

"you definitely know how to make a girl feel special"

He grinned stealing a kiss before becoming serious again "He had a laptop in his bag. A laptop. Big bag, big laptop. I need Jeff's laptop. You two, get to the hospital. Get everyone out of that ward. Clear the whole floor. Phone us when you're done."

"Your car. Come on." Amelia told him

"But how can he be here? How can the Doctor be here?" he asked, and she pulled him away

"Hello. Laptop. Give me." The Doctor ordered as he strode into Jeff's bedroom and started wrestling for the laptop

"No, no, no, no, wait," Jeff argued

"It's fine. Give it here." The Doctor replied

"Hang on!" Jeff said but failed and the Doctor took the laptop before seeing what Jeff was browsing

"Blimey. Get a girlfriend, Jeff." The Doctor instructed him tilting the laptop away from Morgana when she sat next to him, hurriedly clicking away.

"Hey, I'm Jeff" he turned towards her a hopeful look in his eyes

"no," the Doctor said flatly "my wife, get someone else, anyone else"

"Gran." Jeff turned to his grandmother as she entered

"What are you doing?" she asked

"The sun's gone wibbly, so right now, somewhere out there, there's going to be a big old video conference call. All the experts in the world panicking at once, and do you know what they need? us. Ah, and here they all are. All the big boys. NASA, Jodrell Bank, Tokyo Space Centre, Patrick Moore." The Doctor explained

"I like Patrick Moore." Jeff's Gran said

"I'll get you his number." She promised, "But watch him, he's a devil."

"You can't just hack in on a call like that," Jeff argued

"Can't I?" he asked cockily as six faces came up on the screen, he showed them his psychic paper.

"Who are you?" Patrick Moore asked

"This is a secure call, what are you doing here?" another man questioned

"Hello. Yeah, I know you should switch me off, but before you do, watch this." The Doctor instructed and began typing away on the keyboard

"It's here too, I'm getting it," Patrick said

"Fermat's Theorem, the proof. And I mean the real one. Never been seen before. Poor old Fermat got killed in a duel before he could write it down. Our fault. we slept in. Oh, and here's an oldie but a goodie. Why electrons have mass. And a personal favourite of mine, faster than light travel with two diagrams and a joke. Look at your screens. Whoever I am, I'm a genius. Look at the sun. You need all the help you can get. Fellas, pay attention." He said before turning to Morgana

"sex appeal back?" he asked adjusting his tie with a smirk, he knew how much him being clever and showing off appealed to her.

"oh, most certainly" she purred yanking him to her by his tie and snogging him senseless

He pulled back with a bright grin, giggling as he ran his hand through his hair "oh, alright, yes, fun"

"my, clever, clever spaceman but saving the world Dearest?" she reminded him and he cleared his throat nodding, she smirked at his blush as he typed away on the keyboard

"Sir, what are you doing?" the man asked in curiosity

"I'm writing a computer virus. Very clever, super-fast, and a tiny bit alive, but don't let on. And why am I writing it on a phone? Never mind, you'll find out. Okay, I'm sending this to all your computers. Get everyone who works for you sending this everywhere. Email, text, Facebook, Bebo, Twitter, radar dish, whatever you've got. Any questions?" he wondered

"Who was your lady friend?" Patrick asked eyeing up Jeff's gran

"Patrick, behave." He chided before realising there were two ladies "and you best not be talking about my wife"

"What does this virus do?" the man asked

"It's a reset command, that's all. It resets counters. It gets in the wifi and resets every counter it can find. Clocks, calendars, anything with a chip will default at zero at exactly the same time. But yeah, I could be lying, why should you trust me? I'll let my best man explain." He said before whispering to Jeff "Jeff, you're my best man."

"You what?" he asked

"well, he's not talking about me," Morgana said

The Doctor turned to him and spoke urgently "Listen to me. In ten minutes, you're going to be a legend. In ten minutes, everyone on that screen is going to be offering you any job you want. But first, you have to be magnificent. You have to make them trust you and get them working. This is it, Jeff, right here, right now. This is when you fly. Today's the day you save the world."

"Why me?" Jeff asked

"It's your bedroom. Now go, go, go." He said handing him the laptop before grabbing her hand and running from the room before sticking his head back into the room

"Oh and delete your internet history." He ordered

Morgana had just hopped into the fire truck that the Doctor was hotwiring answering the phone as it began ringing "hello?"

"look, there's something going on in the hospital and we can't get through" Amelia told her

"little one, look in a mirror" she advised

"Are you on your way? You need transport" Amelia said

"don't worry, we've commandeered a vehicle" Morgana responded hanging up

Turning to her husband with golden puppy dog eyes she crooned "Dearest"

He looked over at her with an adoring look before hitting the sirens turning them on and she laughed in delight

"Are you in?" Morgana asked as she answered the phone

"Yep." Amelia answered, "But so's Prisoner Zero."

"You need to get out of there." The Doctor insisted and she relayed the information

"Amy? Amy, what's happening?" she asked in worry as she heard Rory gasp, the Doctor sending her a concerned look "Amy, talk to me!"

"We're in the coma ward, but it's here. It's getting in," she answered

"Which window are you?" Morgana questioned

"What, sorry?" Amelia asked in confusion

"Which window?" she repeated

"First floor, on the left, fourth from the end." Amelia told her and she relayed the information to her Dearest and he hit the button for the ladder, letting the firetruck stop on its own, they climbed up the ladder as it went crashing through the window the Doctor hurrying up and then helping her through, taking the excuse to wrap his hands around her waist.

"Right! Hello. Are we late?" he asked checking the clock before nodding satisfied "No, three minutes to go. So still time."

"Time for what, Time Lord?" the Mother asked

"Take the disguise off. They'll find you in a heartbeat. Nobody dies." The Doctor said

"The Atraxi will kill me this time. If I am to die, let there be fire." She hissed

"I can set you on fire and watch you burn to death" Morgana offered "I'm charitable like that"

"Okay. You came to this world by opening a crack in space and time. Do it again. Just leave." The Doctor instructed

"I did not open the crack." The Mother replied

"Well, somebody did." They answered in unison

"The cracks in the skin of the universe, don't you know where they came from? You don't, do you?" the mother tilted her head before her voice changed to a little girl "The Doctor and his Queen in the Tardis doesn't know. Doesn't know. Doesn't know!" it then switched back

"The universe is cracked. The Pandorica will open. Silence will fall." The Mother promised

"And we're off! Look at that. Look at that!" he pointed excitedly to the clock which had been reset to zero

"Yeah, I know, just a clock. Whatever. But do you know what's happening right now? In one little bedroom, my team are working. Jeff and the world. And do you know what they're doing? They're spreading the word all over the world, quantum fast. The word is out. And do you know what the word is? The word is Zero. Now, me, if I was up in the sky in a battleship, monitoring all Earth communications, I'd probably take that as a hint. And if I had a whole battle fleet surrounding the planet, I'd be able track a simple old computer virus to its source in, what, under a minute? The source, by the way, is right here." He held up the phone that he'd knicked off Rory a bright light coming from outside

"Oh! And I think they just found us!" he said in triumph

"The Atraxi are limited. While I'm in this form, they'll still be unable to detect me. They've tracked a phone, not me." The Mother said

Her Dearest wasn't worried and even did a little happy dance "Yeah, but this is the good bit. I mean, this is my favourite bit. Do you know what this phone is full of? Pictures of you. Every form you've learned to take, right here. Ooo, and being uploaded about now. And the final score is, no Tardis, no screwdriver, two minutes to spare. Who da man?" he turned and looked at Morgana after he received no response "No? sweetheart?" he looked at her

"I'll call you anything up to and including daddy but not 'da man' Dearest, it just sounds wrong coming from me" she answered

"Oh, I'm never saying that again. Fine." He pouted

"Then I shall take a new form." The mother said unconcerned

"Oh, stop it. You know you can't. It takes months to form that kind of psychic link." The Doctor disregarded the threat

"it's over" Morgana informed her quietly

"And I've had years." She retorted Morgana moving quickly to catch Amelia as she collapsed, everyone crowding around her

"No! Amy? You've got to hold on. Amy? Don't sleep! You've got to stay awake, please." The Doctor begged

"Doctor, Morgana" Rory called for their attention and Prisoner Zero had transformed into her Dearest, gangly with a ripped shirt and floppy hair and a woman, petite with waist-length blonde hair and golden eyes, sporting a playful fanged grin

"Well, that's rubbish. Who's that supposed to be?" the Doctor demanded "I mean that's my wife but who's the tosspot, all gangly and short, why's he holding my wife's hand?"

"oh, you ARE a very lucky timelord dearest," she said eyeing herself up

"that I am" he agreed happily

"It's you" Rory interrupted their conversation

"Me? Is that what I look like?" he pulled a face before looking at Morgana intensely

"I like it" she smirked "can't wait to see what's under the clothes"

"You don't know?" Rory asked in shock

"Busy day." He said waving a hand "Why us, though? You're linked with her. Why are you copying us?" but then a little girl came out from behind them, holding their hands

"I'm not. Poor Amy Pond. Still such a child inside. Dreaming of the magic Doctor and Morgana she knows will return to save her. What a disappointment you two have been." The duplicate Amelia spat at them, hoping to rile them up

"No, she's dreaming about me because she can hear me. Amy, don't just hear me, listen. Remember the room, the room in your house you couldn't see. Remember you went inside. I tried to stop, but you did. You went in the room. You went inside. Amy, dream about what you saw." The Doctor encouraged the unconscious grown up Amelia

"No. No. No!" the duplicate screamed as they transformed back into their original form

"Well done, Prisoner Zero. A perfect impersonation of yourself." Her Dearest mocked as they finally caught up

"Prisoner Zero is located. Prisoner Zero is restrained."

"Silence, Doctor, Morgana. Silence will fall." Zero warned them before disappearing in a rush of wind

"The sun. It's back to normal, right? That's, that's good, yeah? That means it's over." Rory said as Amelia woke up

"Hello little one" Morgana greeted petting her hair

"Amy. Are you okay? Are you with us?" Rory asked

"What happened?" Amelia asked as she sat up ignoring Rory

"He did it. The Doctor did it." Rory said

"oh, yes because I had nothing to do with it" Morgana rolled her eyes

"No, I didn't." he denied

"not yet, now the fun begins" Morgana said as the Doctor held out his hand to help her to her feet, pecking her nose when she was fully upright

"What are you doing?" Rory wondered as he started pressing numbers

"Tracking the signal back. Sorry in advance." He added as he hit the call button

"About what?" Rory asked wearily

"The bill." He said sheepishly

"I'll pay you back" Morgana offered as she dug into her pocket, pulling out the wallet she carried, opening it and pulling the thick wad of cash she had there, about three grand, folding it up and putting it into Rory's pocket "that should cover it or thereabouts"

"Oi, I didn't say you could go! Article fifty-seven of the Shadow Proclamation. This is a fully established level five planet, and you were going to burn it? What? Did you think no-one was watching? You lot, back here, now. Okay, now we've done it." The Doctor said tossing the phone back to Rory

"Did he just bring them back? Did he just save the world from aliens and then bring all the aliens back again?" she heard him ask as the Doctor held her hand walking through the halls towards the roof

"Where are you going?" Amelia asked them

"The roof." But the changing rooms caught his eye "No, hang on."

"What's in here?" Amelia asked

"clothes" Morgana replied

"I'm saving the world - I need a decent shirt. To hell with the raggedy. Time to put on a show, sweetheart help me" he requested, and she headed over to the piles of clothes and began separating them into things she liked and didn't, before handing the approved clothes to him

"You just summoned aliens back to Earth. Actual aliens, deadly aliens, aliens of death, and now you're taking your clothes off. Amy, he's taking his clothes off." Rory said in shock

"Turn your back if it embarrasses you." He said unconcerned as he pulled his shirt off, Morgana enjoying the sight of him shirtless, and he winked at her

"Are you stealing clothes now? Those clothes belong to people, you know." Rory chided as he turned his back before talking to Amelia "Are you not going to turn your back?"

"No." Amelia denied

Morgana turned to her immediately, jealously rising flashed her vampiric features at Amelia and Rory "my husband, turn your back or I snap your neck and Rory, he needs clothes, it's fair payment"

Amelia swallowed realising that the memory of the playful fanged grin and golden eyes were a lot less playful now and turned her back as Rory squeaked and obeyed.

Morgana with her Dearest onto the roof, he showed her a tie, and she shook her head, he immediately tossed it aside moving onto the next one. As the atraxi hovered overhead

"So, this was a good idea, was it? They were leaving." Amelia asked them

"Leaving is good. Never coming back is better. Come on, then! The Doctor will see you now and so will his Queen" her Dearest called, and the eyeball dropped onto the roof and scanned them

"You are not of this world and you are older than the lifespan humans have" the atraxi stated

"I'm special" Morgana retorted

"No, but we've put a lot of work into it." The Doctor said absently as he looked at his selection of ties "Oh, hmm, I don't know. What do you think?" he asked her

"I don't like it," she said grimacing at the horrendous shade of green, he nodded, and it was tossed away immediately

"Is this world important?" the atraxi asked

The Doctor paused and looked up at the eyeball "Important? What's that mean, important? Six billion people live here. Is that important? Here's a better question. Is this world a threat to the Atraxi? Well, come on. You're monitoring the whole planet. Is this world a threat?"

"No." the atraxi said answered as a projection popped up between them and the alien

"Are the peoples of this world guilty of any crime by the laws of the Atraxi?" he asked absently as Morgana smiled at the red bowtie that matched his suspenders and he tossed the other ties away, immediately putting on the one she liked

"No." the atraxi answered

"Okay. One more. Just one. Is this world protected? Because you're not the first lot to come here. Oh, there have been so many." He said in reembrace as their enemies began to be projected

"And what you've got to ask is, what happened to them?" he asked as there was a run through of all the previous Doctor, her heart flipping at the last incarnation, they stepped through in unison holding hands, her Dearest wearing a jacket and a bowtie

"Hello. I'm the Doctor and this is my Morgana. Basically, run." He advised and the eyeball zoomed back into its ship and left, very fast. There was a heat and then Morgana looked down at the key on her necklace, The Doctor pulling one out of his jacket pocket.

They shared an excited grin before she scooped him up and flitted back to the TARDIS.

"Okay, what have you got for us this time?" her Dearest asked as he unlocked the TARDIS doors and they stepped into the refurbished TARDIS, there were still round circles on the wall that she thought Dear had chosen for herself, the steel grating had been changed into glass floors with steel beams, the central console changing as well becoming more modern.

"oh...you've outdone yourself Dear" Morgana praised

"Look at you. Oh, you sexy thing! Look at you." He grinned and they ran up to the console together and sent her into the vortex, the lights of the TARDIS brightening as she hummed excitedly in their minds, happy to have her Thief and Queen safe with her.

"Sorry about running off earlier. Brand new Tardis. Bit exciting. Just had a quick hop to the moon and back to run her in. She's ready for the big stuff now." Her Dearest said as they landed back into Amelia's bedroom, he'd insisted that it would be find

"It's you two. You came back." Amelia blinked in shock at them

"of course, we came back, we always do" Morgana informed her in confusion

"Something wrong with that?" Her Dearest asked

"And you kept the clothes." Amelia pointed out as Morgana took a look around the room, her eyes lingering on the black box on her bedside and the garment cover on the back of her door, putting two and two together.

"Well, I just saved the world and Morgana thinks I look sexy. The whole planet, for about the millionth time, no charge. Yeah, shoot me. I kept the clothes, gotta impress the wife." He nodded his head

"Including the bow tie." Amelia arched an eyebrow

"Yeah, it's cool. Bow ties are cool." He spoke adjusting the bow tie

"bow ties are very cool" Morgana backed him up, she'd used it liberally to yank him towards her for a kiss, she'd done it with the tie his previous incarnation wore

"Are you from another planet?" Amelia asked them

"Yeah." The Doctor nodded

"no" Morgana shook her head "born in Norway over a thousand years ago, Original Tribrid. Immortal"

"Okay." Amelia nodded her head

"So, what do you think?" her Dearest asked as he pulled Morgana into his chest

"Of what?" Amelia wondered

"Other planets. Want to check some out?" he asked pressing a kiss to the crown of her head, yes, she mused to herself, this incarnation was definitely touchier.

"What does that mean?" Amelia wondered

"It means. Well, it means come with us." Morgana offered

"Where?" Amelia asked

"Wherever you like." She felt him shrug

"we never really have much of a plan" Morgana admitted

"All that stuff that happened. The hospital, the spaceships, Prisoner Zero." Amelia said

He grinned at her "Oh, don't worry, that's just the beginning. There's loads more."

"Yeah, but those things, those amazing things, all that stuff. That was two years ago." Amelia told them

"Oh.! Oops." The Doctor apologised

"Yeah." She said flatly

"he's a terrible pilot, dropped me off a year late and then there was that time stuck in the sixties...and the fifty years during the thirteenth century..." Morgana said

"So that's..." he trailed off

"Fourteen years!" Amelia rounded up shouting at them

"Fourteen years since fish custard. Amy Pond, the girl who waited, you've waited long enough." The Doctor declared

"When I was a kid, you said there was a swimming pool and a library, and the swimming pool was in the library," Amelia told them

"Yeah. Not sure where it's got to now. It'll turn up. So, coming?" he asked her

"ugh, my books better not be ruined" Morgana glared at him "I have signed copies of first editions!"

"I promise if there ruined, I'll fix 'em" he promised

"No." Amelia denied

"You wanted to come fourteen years ago." He pointed out

"I grew up," Amelia said

"terrible idea," Morgana told her

"Don't worry. I'll soon fix that." He promised as he opened the TARDIS doors, they followed after Amelia as she entered

"Well? Anything you want to say? Any passing remarks? we've heard them all." He bragged

"I'm in my nightie," Amelia said

"that's new" Morgana laughed

"Oh, don't worry. Plenty of clothes in the wardrobe. And possibly a swimming pool. So, all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will Where do you want to start?" he asked with a tempting grin

"You are so sure that I'm coming." Amelia looked between them

"Yeah, we are." The Doctor nodded his head

"Why?" she asked

"Cause you're the Scottish girl in the English village, and we know how that feels." He replied

"Oh, do you?" she challenged

"All these years living here, most of your life, and you've still got that accent. Yeah, you're coming." He said determined

"Can you get me back for tomorrow morning?" Amelia asked and Morgana hummed

"It's a time machine. I can get you back five minutes ago. Why, what's tomorrow?" he questioned curiously

"Nothing. Nothing. Just you know, stuff." She deflected

"All right, then. Back in time for stuff." Morgana agreed, arching an eyebrow at her before her attention was diverted as she looked at the sonic screwdriver slot, a new one coming out

"Oh! A new one! Lovely. Thanks, dear." The Doctor thanked picking it up and putting into his pocket as he typed on an old typewriter wired into the console

"Why me?" Amelia asked

"Why not?" he retorted shrugging his shoulders

"No, seriously. You are asking me to run away with you in the middle of the night. It's a fair question. Why me?" Amelia pressed

"We don't know. Fun. Do we have to have a reason?" the Doctor wondered

"People always have a reason." Amelia pointed out

"Do I look like people?" the Doctor demanded playfully

"Yes," Amelia answered

"we've been knocking around on our own for a while. Our choice, but I've started talking to my wife all the time. It's giving her earache." The Doctor said

"and there's only so many times we can drop in on Elijah to annoy him," Morgana said and laughed as her Dearest pinched her "what? I might be the oldest, but he gets so...ornery" she grinned as he kissed her cheek

"You're lonely. That's it? Just that?" Amelia butted in, confused as to who Elijah was

"Just that. Promise." He nodded

"Okay," Amelia answered

"So, are you okay, then? Because this place, sometimes it can make people feel a bit, you know." He paused trying to find the right word

"overwhelmed" Morgana added

Amelia smiled and nodded "I'm fine. It's just, there's a whole world in here, just like you said. It's all true. I thought. Well, I started to think that maybe you were just like a madman and crazy woman with a box." She laughed

"Amy Pond, there's something you'd better understand about us, because it's important, and one day your life may depend on it. I am definitely a madman with a box and she's as crazy as anything. Ha ha! Yeah. Goodbye Leadworth, hello everything." He grinned flipping the lever

"I hope that was worth it because you're sleeping on the floor tonight!" she retorted
