"it wasn't my fault!" Morgana argued with the Doctor as he laid on the hospital bed

"I'm just saying that my trip to Benjamin franklin ended wonderfully, you're desires and obsession with philosophers ended with us raising Aristotle then being conscripted to Alexander the Great's army helping to conquer most of the world oh! And when he found out you were a woman he wanted to marry and have children with you, and he declared you a goddess! And the less said about that argument you got into with Plato the better and the ten years hanging out with Diogenes and his barrel while fun- despite the frequent drinking contests- was odd...no man should be so attached to a barrel and he was such a grump!" The Doctor ranted

"you're the one who told him about having no possessions, he was so impressed by you that he went and lived in a barrel for the rest of his life and Plato was bloody wrong! I showed him though, he was just sour he had to bend to my superior knowledge" Morgana retorted flushing hotly "and what about the Sybil?" her eyes bled gold

"nothing was going to happen!" he defended himself

"bloody right it wasn't still I gave her a nice warning, not to touch what wasn't hers" she replied smugly "and the only reason we indulged in my so-called obsession was because you put your foot in it"

"she almost got her throat ripped out, and it scarred" the Doctor pointed out "and I'm an idiot look at me" her lips twitched into a smile.

"exactly, a warning and do you want to rehash what you did to Alexander the Great when he tried to marry me?" she rose an eyebrow, but he kept stubbornly quiet "exactly"

"he deserved it" he muttered rebelliously

"it was sexy" she affirmed, and he smirked smugly, preening happily.

They had been travelling together for a long time since Donna-time having lost meaning due to their own long life-spans, The Doctor privately was still in shock and awe that he had such an amazing woman by his side, who'd he never have to lose to age and the one thing that could harm her was safely ensconced into the heart of the TARDIS.

Okay, he might have gone a little overboard when she mentioned white oak could kill her, forever, but in his defence, she had just dropped it casually into conversation!

He'd been lucky- or sexy had seen to it- when he stumbled into mystic falls as the white oak tree was being cut down, he had stolen the tree and ripped the rest of it up and hidden it in the TARDIS, Sexy placing the highest security measures on it as she could- he had carefully ensured no other white oak remained on planet earth, he also had been carefully sending out signals to the rest of the universe to make sure there weren't any others, perhaps a little overprotective, actually it was very overprotective but what Morgana didn't know wouldn't harm her. It was a close shave when she had woken up to find him covered in wood chips, but he'd quickly distracted her by suggesting a picnic on a lily pad on a water planet.

Morgana looked up from the Doctor when a group of medical professionals came in the lead doctor pulling the curtain back, she smiled at them, several nodding back, a young black woman smiling back at her.

"Now then, Mister Smith, a very good morning to you. How are you today?" Stoker asked

"Oh, not so bad. Still a bit, you know, blah." The Doctor stuck his tongue out and pulling a face

"I told him he shouldn't have gotten involved in the cotton candy eating contest" Morgana inputted

"it was blue! I had no choice" he defended himself
