Jannat's pov
His bed is really comfortable. I layed and was looking at the pics. Ya pictures, because the wifi is not working.
Huh!! Wifi is the oxygen.
I saw this picture. (The picture is in media box)
Aww... I miss my baby.
He is Nagma di and Awez jiju's son. And this was clicked last month when Nagma di and Awez jiju came here.
I still remembere when we got to know, she was pregnant we couldn't hold our excitement and went to Bangalore to meet her.
And after her delivery also we all went.
Hahaha....
When I entered Nagma di's room, that time she was sleeping but my chotu baby was awake.
I slowly lifted him
FLASHBACK
As soon as we greeted the elders, i went to Nagma di's room and when i entered i saw di was sleeping and my baby was awake.
He was soo tiny.
I slowly lifted him, supporting his neck.
"Hey what are you doing, he will get hurt" i heard a voice yelling behind me. Hearing this voice Nagma di woke up.
Jannat: Assalamu alaikum Nagma di.
I supporting the baby, hugged her.
"Assalamu alaikum di"
Jannat: faisu, you woke up Nagma di.
Faisal: but you were lifting the baby. You know right, they are tender, you have to support their neck.
Jannat: ya, and that eay only i lifted.
Faisal: you know how to lift the baby?
I looked at him.
Jannat: what do you mean by thta?
Faisal: arey matlab, aren't you scared.
Jannaat: nope, just hold their neck properly.
Faisal: ohh...nooo no no...
Jannat: arey kuch nahi yaar. Wait
I walked upto him, and asked him to forward his hands front and he did that. I slowly placed the baby. His body was stiff.
Jannat: relax faisu.
I placed him properly now Faisu looked comfortable.
Jannat: sit there.
He sat on the sofa. I walked to Nagma di and asked her about her well beings.
Suddenly the door burst opened and in came the tsunami, i mean our whole family.
All greeted eachother.
Safina: arey wah faisu, you are holding the baby without fear. But you didn't even hold the baby of cousin.
We all laughed.
Safina: now let me take my baby.
She walked upto faisal to take the baby but faisu turned away not giving.
Faisal: i am not giving him to anyone.
All: arey but, i want to hold the baby.
Then faisu gave the baby, and he was passed to everyone.
And soon the baby slept, so to not disturb him we all went down.
Sumaiya: do you remember Di, when Jannat was born. Faisal was stubborn to hold her. He himself was 3 something.
Safina: ya.
And all laughed.
Faisal: see, from childhood i wanted you to be mine.
I heard him tell slowly, and all i did was blush away.
FLASHBACK ENDS
I was brought back from the flashback when i felt a light weight on my stomach.
It was Faisal's hand around me and was sleeping beside me.
I was so lost and didn't know when Faisal came in and had gone to washroom.
Faisal: where are you lost?
I shown him the picture.
Faisal: aww look at my baby, so cute.
He said tracing my face in the picture.
I slowly hit him.
Faisal: i am telling about Shameel. (Awez jiju and Nagma di child)
Jannat: tumhara kuch nahi ho sakta.
We both laughed. They we kept talking about our schools and our college and our recent fight.
FLASHBACK STARTS
Faisal is busy doing his college project and I was sitting beside him, helping him in underlining and getting the meaning or definition of the words and terms.
And finally after 3 hours of continuous hardwork we finished his work.
Faisal: i am tired.
I giggled and started arranging the books, files, papers and stationeries in their places.
Faisal: Jannat
I looked at him
Faisal: keep this blue file in bag and red throw it. Don't confuse and do.
I nodded and got both the files and kept blue file in bag, and red i kept in his books rack may be it has some important information.
The day ended the same way having fun and I, writing my never ending record.
Next day, I and Shifa di were sitting in living room and were watching t.v when i heard Faisal yelling my name.
Faisal: JANNAT
anger could be heard from the tone. It got me scared.
Faisal: JANNAT COME HERE RIGHT NOW.
I got up and ran to his room, i saw Shifa di also coming behind me. I could feel my heartbeat thumping out loudly. I walked towards him. I have never seen him this angry.
Jannat: Faisal
He turned and in a swift motion stood Infront of me.
Faisal: do you even have an idea what you did.
I just stood there clueless.
Faisal: i asked you to keep blue file and throw red file. Right.
I just nodded my head.
Faisal: ans what you did, you threw blue file and kept file.
He took the file from rack, and shown him.
Jannat: but liste...
Faisal: shut up, you know from past 1 month i am working on it. Like a mad guy, sleeping late, getting up early. I did so much for that. You know right, you were with me.
I stayed silent, tears welled up.
Faisal: now why are staying silent.
Shifa: bhaiya, do it again. She did mistake leave it.
Faisal: you are not understanding it Shifa.
He shouted.
I took deep breath, composing myself.
I walked towards his table, took his bag and took out the file. THE BLUE COLOUR FILE.
I kept the file, in his hand and ran from there, to Shifa di's room worn my burqa and ran out wearing my Sandels.
I could feel my cheeks getting wet.
I walked to the park few lanes away from my home.
I sat there. And let out my tears.
I heard my phone ring, when i looked its Faisal. I cut the call. Again it ran, but i cut.
After composing myself, i went to my home.
Sumaiya: where did you go baby, Faisal came here searching for you.
I again felt tears welling out.
Jannat: i went to park.
Sumaiya: don't go there alone baby.
I just nodded my head, and went to my room.
Then I dint talk to him the whole day. And next day, before he pick me up for college, i left in my scooty.
I directly went to my classroom and i saw no one in classroom.
Obviously by 8:00 who would come.
I had messaged Anu and Riyaz that i am already in class.
I plugged my headphones and started writing my records.
I kept escaping from Faisal, and even he was busy with his submissions.
I told my mom that i am going to Anushka's room.
I told her everything, she consoled me.
I slept in her room. Because whenever i am sad or upset i sleep and that to alot.
Then i felt her waking me up.
Anushka: freshen up and come to terrace.
Jannat: why terrace.
Anushka: climate is nice, come soon.
I Just nodded and freshened up and went up.
Yes, cool breeze.
I sat there, but suddenly i noticed something.
HIS BIKE.
I thought of going into room, i dont wanna meet him.
But when i got up, he came to me.
I tried going, but he held my hand.
Faisal: i am sorry.
Jannat: leave me Faisal.
Faisal: please Jannat.
Jannat: why should i.
Faisal: i am really sorry, i promise i won't ever shout at you.
I kept silent.
I tried walking, but he held me and pulled me towards him. He put his hands on my waist and pulled me more closer, and involuntarily my hands went to his shoulders.
Faisal: i am sorry.
I kept my head on his shoulders and weeped.
Jannat: I dint like when you shouted at me. When you get angry you forget everything, you forget who is around us.
Faisal: i am sorry Jaan.
Jannat: you will not shout at me ?
Faisal: i promise. I wont.
He hugged me.
FLASHBACK ENDS.
I sat on bed, and pulled Faisal up and he sat beside me.
Jannat: i wanna do some masti.
Faisal: arey i will help you na.
He said and put his hands around me and pulled me.
Faisal: lets do some masti.
I pushed him and ran from there.
I ran out of the room, to the living room, to kitchen and back to his room and i was cornered there.
He caged me between him and the wall. I felt the whole animals in my stomach. My breath ragged out.
He cupped my cheek and moved closer. I closed my eyes, not bearing his intense gaze.
I felt his breath on my cheeks.
My breath was being fast. Our lips are just an inch away.
"Jannat'
We heard Shifa calling and we moved away.
Jannat: i look at her.
I said and ran from there.
