Next day exactly at 12a.m. Reem's parents wished her. She was eagerly waiting for her friends but none of them turned up. In the morning she went to the office. She directly went to Avneet's cabin but it was empty. She saw the time it was 10a.m. She wondered where she was as daily she came nearly at 9:30.Then she saw Sid's cabin was also empty. Then she went to Rinushka's section, they both were also not there.
Reem (thought): chalo ab jai se hi baat karti hoon.
she went towards her cabin. She kept her bag there and went to jai's cabin but it was also empty.
Reem (wondered): Where is everyone????
She then called Avneet.
Avneet: hey reem what's up???
Avneet asked as she picked the call.
Reem: where are uhh all??none of u are here....
Avneet: are actually I had an headache in the morning, so I decided that me office jaake rest kar lungi but meri car servicing me gayi hai so I went to jai but usne bataya wohh aaj office nahi ja raha kahi baar kisi meeting me ja raha hai... the I called Siddharth... woww.. is lakdi ke surprise keh liye I m saying the impossible things'
Avneet murmured the last line
Reem: u called siddhu... then????
Avneet: yeah so I called Siddharth so he told me that uska aur Jannat ka koi friend US se aaya hai so there going there to meet him.... Bache humare love birds toh woh to kaal hi bol rahe the that they have not spent some quality time together so they are going on some romantic date or something.... Isiliye mere office jane ka plan cancel karna pada...
Avneet said in an innocent tone.

Avneet sensed disappoint in her voice. She felt sad for her best frnd.
Avneet: ha byee but listen exactly 2:00 ko aa jana please yaar....

Avneet: bye babe.. Avneet said cutting the line.
Finally, Reem stepped out of her cabin
Reem: Crap, what time is it?'
She muttered peeping at her watch.

She breathed, sprinting towards the elevator.
She reached Avneet's house at 1:58.

She breath out. She rang the doorbell. Sonia opened the door.
Sonia: hello beta..
Reem: hello aunty... where is everyone.
Sonia: Go directly into avneet's room.
Reem: ohk Aunty.
She went to Avneet's room, there laid a black dress bag on the bed and there was a piece of paper on top of it. It read:
'Babe dress up quickly.. the dress is in the bag There is a pouch in it with the accessories... use my makeup and get ready... U don't have much time you have to be ready exactly by 2:30 darling do hurry up and after you are ready just open my wardrobe... love love sweetheart.'
She peeped at her watch "shit its already 2:05 I better get ready."
At exactly 2:30 she opened Avneet's wardrobe. There was another sticky note stuck on it's door:
'come to jai's room.'
Before going out she once again saw her reflection in the mirror. She wore a burgundy color, chiffon off shoulder gown with a beaded neckline, empire column skirt and a short train. With her dark hair in loose curls around her face and impeccable make-up, She loved the was she looked.

She went out of the room and went to Jai's room. She went inside. As she stepped there came a sound of the room's door slamming shut. Then the lights turned on......
Everyone (shouted): HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYY
everyone came and hugged her.
She was not able to believe what just happened.
Jai: chalo chalo wish badme kar lenge its almost her born time come let's cut the cake...
Riyaz: haan haan abhi toh gifts bhi baaki hai.. hai na jai??
Everyone laughed and Jai blushed. Reem stood there confused.
She cut the cake and then after cutting the cake.
Avneet: chalo ab sab apne apne gift's do....
Rinushka gave her a beautiful pillow with lead light in it and a picture of the three of them imprinted on it. Reem hugged both of them.

Siddharth came with a box. "someone please turn of the light. And sab log bed oe beth jao"
Riyaz went and turned off the lights. There was darkness everywhere. Then Sid turned on the light inside the box. The light came out from the holes which were there inside the box and it reached all the four walls of the room.
On every wall there was a message

2. You are my support system
3. I will always be there for you
4. I love uhh
Reem: ohh myy god siddhu this is amazing
Reem said giving him a tight hug.
Avneet came forward and hugged her best friend
Avneet: happiest bday meri jaann
She then went to Jai's cupboard. She came back and gave Reem a small rectangular box Reem opened it and there were two platinum cuff bracelets. On the inner side of bracelet there was a msg
YOU ARE MINE AND WILL ALWAYS BE MINE.
Reem hugged Avneet. Then Avneet gave her a scrapbook.
In the book there were pictures of the two besties and the memory of that picture on the adjacent page.
Reem: you are the best babe I cant even express how I m feeling right now... I love uhh
Reem said tightly hugging Avneet.
Reem: you all really made my day special thank you so much.
Riyaz: Jai tera gift kaha hai??
Jai: shut up Riyaz
Jai said giving Riyaz a daring look.

Jai gave her a small box. She opened it and there was a promise ring. Reem was shocked after seeing that ring. Then Jai sat down on his knees.

Reem was not able to control her tears.
Jai: Reem Shaikh I love uhh... I really really love uhh... I had prepared a speech but kya karu sab bhul gaya.... But one thing is that I had love uh since forever now.. will you accept my love and be mine???
Reem: yes you idiot.
Jai took the ring and slide it into Reem's finger. Both of them hugged. All the others also pounced on them congratulating them.
After some time Jannat Asked everyone.
Jannat: guys why Jai gave her a ring.
Riyaz: its not a wedding ring or something its just a promise ring like this...
Riyaz said showing Jannat the ring of his and Anushka's finger.
Jannat: and what's that??
Jannat asked still confused .
Sid: wait I will explain it to you Jannat.... so Jab Riyaz ne Anushka ko propose kiya tha and when they stepped into the relationship they both decided to get two rings to show their togetherness.. but phir mom ko pata chala toh she said that ese toh sab dete hai but then wohh jab engagement hogi tab kuch special nahi rahega so then Avneet said that we can give rings na.. like promise ring and we will wear it on our right hand's ring finger... us din se decide hua ki is group ka koi bhi person kisike bhi saath agar serious relationship me aaya then he/she will give such promise ring. Dekho isiliye toh these all rings are same...
Jannat: ohhhhhhhhhhhh
They all celebrated the whole day and then they all decided to give jai and reem some personal space.
Before leaving Jannat said.
Jannat: guys kal office mein milte hai lunch time par mere valentine's day vale idea ke liye..
everyone agreed.
Avneet went to her room and Jannat, Rinushka and Siddharth went out of the house.
Suddenly Siddharth said.
Sid: guys 3 of you carry on mujhe Avneet se kuch office ka kaam hai toh I m going.
Rinushka and Jannat: ohkk
Siddharth went back to avneet's house and then knocked at Avneet's door.
Avneet: come in...
She was shocked seeing Siddharth there.
Avneet: what happened?? Is everything ok??kuch kaam tha??
She asked as she stood up from her bed.
Sid: nahh... kuch nahi hua hai everything is perfectly fine and kuch kaam nahi tha..
Siddharth patiently answered the questions.
Avneet: toh??
Avneet asked raising her eyebrows, still confused.
Sid: toh kya??
Siddharth asked, raising his eyebrows.
Avneet: aree toh tum kyu aaye ho esa puch rahi hoon
Sid: ohhh.... Haa... mein kyu aaya thaa???pata nahi sorry..."
Siddharth said going back towards the door.
Avneet: Siddharth....
Avneet called out as Siddharth was going to open the door. He turned towards Avneet.
Avneet (concerned): kya hau hai??
Sid: kuch nahi actually......umm.... Haa woh mein ghar ja raha tha then mujhe kuch yaad aaya isliye mein idhar aaya then mujhe phirse yaad aaya ki wohh cheez to mere pass hi hai isliye ab mein jaa raha hoon.
Avneet: hmmm ohkk
Sid: byee Avu..neet.
Avneet: Bye Siddharth.
Siddharth left the place.
