Mahi was in corridors going towards his room that's when he heard voice from behind he turned only to find Yuvi there
Yuvi: Mahi I wanted to talk to u
Mahi didn't said anything just stood there quietly
Yuvi(teary): Mahi can't we be normal again??
Mahi(coldly): never.
Yuvi(teary): Mahi plzzz..
Mahi didn't answered nd went from there. Yuvi stood thier hurt. Tears started rolling down from his eyes. Yuvi turned to find Vi there. He immediately wiped his tears and put a smile on his face.
Vi: come with me paaji.
Yuvi: where kiddo??
On the otherside Mahi was sitting in his room that's when he felt a hold on his hands only to find Vi sitting near his legs holding his hands and Yuvi standing behind him looking down.
Mahi: Cheeku get up from here and take rest. Don't waste ur time on useless persons.
Vi: bhai plzzz. U only said me na to give the team one chance then plzz give him one chance too.
Mahi: I asked u to give them chance because unfortunately u have to spent most of the time of coming 6-7 years with them and to move on u have to give them chance but luckily I don't have such condition with him and for moving on I defenitely don't need him.
Yuvi looked at him hurt and teary eyes. He just went from there wiping his tears. He couldn't cope up with the line ' I don't need him'
Vi(teary): bhai I know but see na he only wanted ur good. Whatever he did was only because he care for u, u didn't trusted him but still he always tried to protect u from me. He made a mistake everyone make if u can't forgive him then atleast plzzz give him a chance.
Mahi; how can I cheeku?? U may have forgotten but I can't forget what he did to u. Ur tears, ur pnick attacks, ur nighmares I can't forget anything Cheeku never in my life. May be it was easy for u but definitely not for me
Vi(hurt): do u really think I can ever forget those accusation, those hor..(chocked) horrible nights when I was scared to sleep, when I used to get panick attacks and none was there, I wanted to cry but not a tear used to come. Do u really think I can forget how he pushed me that day in hospital?? Do u really think how he twisted my already sprained hand?? Do u really think I can forget the words he said to me?? Do u really think i can forget anything ever in my life. Tell me bhai do u really think??
Tears were coming from his eyes now remembring everything that happened even Mahi was in tears. He regretted what he said. Offcourse Vi can never forget anything no one can forget. No one can be this much strong. Mahi made Vi sit beside him and hugged him tightly rubbing his back.
Vi(crying): I can't forget anything bhai never in my life.
Mahi: ssh I know Cheeku. I am sorry kiddo I didn't meant that.
Vi calmed down after few minute but still was in the hug.
Vi: bhai plzzz give him one last chance. He is regretting badly too. Plzz bhai not for urself, not for him but for me atleast, for ur cheeku plzzz.
Mahi: cheeku
Vi: bhai plzzz for me
Mahi thought for few minutes nd nodded.
Mahi(smiles): I will cheeku, I will give him chance.
Vi get very happy and tightened the hold on Mahi. Mahi broke the hug and kissed his forehead lovingly before leaving.
In Yuvi's room.
Yuvi was sitting on the bed crying badly remembring whatever happened in last few days. How he himself pushed his Mahi away from him. He wished if just for once he would have called Vi and cleared all the misunderstanding then may be situation would have been much different now.
That time he felt someone's touch on his shoulder he looked only to find Mahi. He didn't knew what to say, what to react so he just sat there looking down.
Mahi: what?? U don't stay this silent while accusing someone then what happened now??
Yuvi(crying): Mahi I am sorry I am really very sorry.
Mahi(hurt): he didn't wanted anything he never wanted anything Yuvi except love, care, trust and support even that u guys were not able to give him.
Yuvi: I know Mahi I know I failed very badly as an elder brother and a friend but plzzz let me rectify this mistake of mine. Just give me one chance mahi plzzz just this last time.
Mahi(teary): if u repeated this mistake na I will make sure ur bed will be just beside ur father's one. Idiot
Mahi hugged him tightly. No matter how much he say but he do love Yuvi very much. Yuvi was not able to let out his tears because he had kids to handle but now since his best friend is hugging him and most importantly gave him a chance to rectify his mistake he couldnt help but cry bitterly in his friends arms letting out all the guilt in form if tears where as Mahi stood there patting his back muttering sweet nothings. After sometime Yuvi calmed down
Yuvi: thank u thank u so much
Mahi: say thank u to cheeku. Its because of him I could give u chance.
Yuvi nodded.
Dada, Jammy bhai and Sach pa smiled with tears looking them from outside the room.
Dada: finally our kiddos are reunited too.
Aach: I am so happy dadi. Finally everything is going to be fine
Jammy: I just wish now Vi too become normal soon
Dada: do u really think it is going to be this soon?? After whatever happened it will take him a lot more time to be normal.
Sach(sighed): that kid has already done through alot now I wish just nothing wrong happen anymore.

Vi was sleeping tired because it was a tiring day for him. He was still physically weak and what all happened today had exhausted him mentally nd physically.
Mahi and Yuvi entered into the room and slowly went to Vi only to hear him mumbling something in the sleep and fidgetting his legs little.
Vi(mumbling): bhai... dada.. ma..b..bhai..di...pa..papa.
Yuvi got worried because he was not used to this scene but Mahi just sighed and slowly sat beside him patting his head softy. It has become quite normal for Mahi to see Vi like this. In just few seconds Vi calmed down nd kept his head on Mahi's lap before going to peaceful sleep again
Yuvi: Mahi what was that??
Mahi: its normal nowadays Yuvi infact much better what used to happen earlier. Earlier he was even scared to sleep because of nightmares nd panick attacks after nightmares.(sadly smiled) leave it Yuvi there is no use of talking about it anymore. U go nd take rest I am here
Yuvi just looked at Vi with sad eyes and made a promise to himself that from now on he will always protect him before leaving from there. He now went to Dada's room where Dada, Jammy bhai and Sach pa were talking about something. He knocked the door to gain thier attention.
Yuvi: can I come in??
Dada nodded.
Yuvi just went and stood thier holding his ears looking down
Yuvi: I am sorry dada, bhai and paaji. I know I did a big mistake plzzz and I promise I wont do this again.
Dada: if u did this again na u will be getting a tight slap from me.
Yuvi(teary): I promise dada I wont do this.
Jammy: Yuvi remember one thing before accusing someone for anything even after seeing the proof just think how that person stood by ur side in ur difficult time. Never break anyone's trust Yuvi this time we were there for Cheeku. Mahi came to him at correct time otherwise we would have list our cheeku completely and I am damn sure none if us would have been able to take that.
Yuvi nodded meekly. Just thinking about the situation made him flinch. He dont even want to imagine the situation.
Sach: and Yuvi don't expect us to behave normally suddenly. We need sometime too
Yuvi again nodded and looked at them hopefully. They understood and smiled. Yuvi just went and hugged them tightly. After such a long time he was feeling that warmth again where as trio hugged him back patting his head soflty.
The day passed, next day the team went for the upcoming matches and Yuvi left for some work. Dada, Sach pa and Jammy too left for thier works giving a long list of instruction to Mahirat. Little did Vi know a surprise is waiting for him
In Mahi's room.
"Cheeku go and freshen up. We r leaving hotel in few minutes" said Mahi while packing the stuff of both. Vi nodded came back after few minutes. They both sat in the car and Mahi drove to his house. As soon as Vi came out from the car Mahi blindfolded him
Vi: bhai??
Mahi: come Cheeku . Carefully like normal humans
Mahirat entered the house and Vi blindfold was removed. As soon as the blind fold removed Vi was literally shocked to see all the team members, dada, Jammy bhai, Sach paaji, Yuvi, Sakshi and Anu there
Everyone: Happy Birthday!!!!!!!
Vi looked at them shock and numb. Everyone looked at him confused
Mahi(shaking Vi): Cheeku???
Vi(shocked): today is actually my birthday??
Mahi bhai hit his own head with his palm where as other were like 😑😑
Ro: no we wanted to eat cake thats why we planned this birthday party.
Vi just smiled at him though Ro was expecting him to give the reply he usually do but he can't expect him to behave normal suddenly. On the otherside Vi knew Ro was hurt but what can he do?? He just can't bring himself to behave with them normally. He looked down feeling helpless he neither wanted to hurt anybody nor was able to behave with them normally.
Mahi sensed it nd kept hand on his shoulder blinking his eyes may be telling everything will get fine.
Sach pa: Cheeku will u cut the cake or not?? U don't want to eat its okk atleast let us eat.
Dada: glutton.
Sach: better than possesive jerk.
Dada: everyone knows who is the possessive jerk.
Sach: excuse me
Dada: excused
Jammy: Shut up idiots. Atleast behave maturely in front of kids.
Sach and dada pouted
Everyone chuckled.
Vi cut the cake and first feeded it to Mahi bhai whispering a small thank u which basically went unnoticed by everyone in chaos created by Juniors but still heard by Mahi who pulled him in a tight hug.
That time Yuvi came up with the idea of cake bath which was very respectfully( note the sarcasm guys) denied by Mahi telling doctor had asked Vi not to put the slightest stress on the wound. Vi smiled at his over concern bhai nd stood thier keeping his head on Mahi's shoulder seeing the team doing all kind of nonsesical things.
After few minutes everyone got dance fever and were dancing like no tomorrow. Mahi looked at Vi with raised eyebrow seeing him not even budging from his place even when the Punjabi songs began. Even everyone were shocked seeing him standing at his place.
Mahi: u dont wanna dance??
Vi: not feeling like bhai.
Mahi didn't forced much sighing knowing it will take him time to come out of his shell but still he is MS Dhoni he knew how to get his work done.
Mahi: u stay here I am coming in few seconds
Vi looked at him confused but still nodded nd engaged himself with his other big bros.
Suddenly the loud music stopped, everyone looked confused not able to understand what just happened and suddenly the song started playing again which was this one 👇👇
Vi suddenly felt someone hopped from behind he turned only to find it was non other than his Mahi bhai. Mahi took Vi to the dance floor and much to everyones shock it was Mahi who was dancing now around Vi. soon everyone joined him too including Jammy, Dada and Sach pa which was something Vi didn't expected ever. They made Vi danced a little but keeping in mind that he didn't felt forced. While dancing with Mahi , Vi suddenly stopped and didn't knew when his eyes became teary. He just didn't wait much and threw himself in Mahi's arm while Mahi held him lovingly.

By night everyone left after having dinner as everyone had to go for thier respective work except Anu who was in her room sleeping. Mahi and sakshi were in garden talking with each other thats when Mahi felt a sudden hug from behind. He didn't need to turn to tell who it is offcourse it was his grown up but not so grown up kiddo
Mahi:Cheeku??
Vi: thank u thank u so much bhai. No amount of thanks is enough for what u did for me.
Mahi: u don't need to say either Vi and who told u I did all this for u ??? I did all this for myself because I want my over excited, extra jumpy and a non stop chatter box kiddo back this silent Cheeku is not working anymore.
Vi(softly): I need time bhai. I am trying but still...(sighs)
Mahi: take the time u need Cheeku. No one is forcing u just don't take stress.
Vi smiled and tightened the hold.
Sak: well Cheeku u should be given award. Like u made Mahendra Singh Dhoni danced. Ur name will be written in golden words in history book.
Vi chuckled where as Mahi rolled his eyes
Vi: ur Cheeku has that charm bhabhi.
Mahi and Sakshi smiled as they heard this line after so many days.
Mahi(raising eyebrow): did u ate ur meds??
Vi nodded in no slowly mumbling "forgot to have it" making Mahi and Sakshi shake thier heads. Mahi held his hand and almost dragged him to his room to give him meds. Vi ate his meds and thats when he realized something
Vi: bhai where is Ziva??
Sak: she is with his nani. Her Nani was missing him a lot so ya I left her there. God knows what type of new mischeif she will learn there.
Mahirat chuckled.
Sak: yaa yaaa u both laugh. U both don't have to handle her mischief na it's me who has to run 24×7 behind her. Infact u know what u both are spoiling her.
Mahi pouts.
Sak: such a drama king u r becoming.
Mahi(looking at Vi): learnt from the best.
Vi: well that's the only thing that work on u
Mahi maked a whatever face.
Saks: wait I forget to give u something.
She came with a drawing which Ziva had send for Vi
Vi soflty caressed the drawing smiling with teary eyes.
Vi: bhai I wanna talk to Ziva. Can we do vedio call plzz??
Mahi: okk but u r not holding the phone u have already stress ur hand a lot today.
Vi nodded and Mahi did a vedio call. They chatted a little and hung up the call with Vi prmosing Ziva that he will give her a big party once they meet making her squeal in happiness. Soon Mahi slept with Vi and Sak went to her room.
Next day, Anu had to leave to london for a very important interview, everything was ready and she had went to Vi's room to say bye.
In hall.
Saks(worried): what is taking her so long??
Mahi: what??
Saks: Anu. Here flight is in 2 hrs as she has not even left from here
Mahi: let me check
Mahi went to Virat's room and entered the room whose door was half open only to find Vi and Anu in some awkward position. They both got startled.
Mahi(embarrassed): sorry... sorry
He about to go from there but stopped as he heard Virushka asking him to stop. Anu was about to get up but her locket got entangled to Vi's t-shirt making her fell over him and unfortunately Mahi turned at that time only.
Mahi(embarrassed): u..u guys take ur time.
Mahi almost ran from there
Both were blushing like hell. Anu freed the locket and went from there leaving Vi there only.
Vi(mutters): bhai will tease me to the hell now. What should I do??
That time Mahi and Sakshi too came with Mahi havimg a teasing smile on his face. Seeing Mahi, Vi just wished the earth to swallow him.
Sak: Cheeku r u feeling allright?? Like u know pain and diziness
Vi: ye...
Mahi(teasingly): don't worry Saks he is more than allright now. Right Cheeku??
Sak(confusef): huhhh??
Mahi(teasingly): well u know one should atleast close the door when doing some important things
Vi took a glass to drink water may be to hide his embarrassement
Sak: I am not getting what u r saying Mahi and forget about it if they were doing something important then u could have atleast help them.
Vi spat the water from his mouth and started coughing. Mahi started packing his back and Saks took the glass from his hand
Mahi(concern): Cheeku u can't do anything slowly na.
Vi(innocently): not my fault bhai.
Mahi concerned face turned into amused where as Saks looked at him confused.
Sak: Mahi will u tell me plzzz what the hell is hapening here?? And what wrong did I said??
Mahi(pulling Vi's cheeks): nothing Saks its just our Cheeku is grown up, now we have to knock the door before coming in his room.
Now finally Saks understood and bite her lips as she realised what she said. Vi looked everywhere except them.
Sak: so what?? Cheeku don't pay attention to what ur bhai says u know what he did...
Mahi face changed and Saks went on telling Vi every detail of how his Mahi bhai proposed her making Vi laugh his heart out.
Vi(laughing): seriously bhai who give dry fruits while proposing someone??
Mahi: what??? its very healthy
Vi(laughing): u r gone case bhai
Mahi: its very funny right??
Vi(laughing): yes very
Mahi: I have a more funny thing than that.
Vi(scared): no bhai stay away from me.
Mahi held him and started tickling him making Vi laugh out badly.
Vi: haa... haa bhai please leave hahaa me (holding his wrist)aah aah
Mahi stopped tickling him and took his hand softly
Mahi(concern): Sorry sorry cheeku is it paining a lot?? I am really sorry kiddo. Wait let me...
He stopped as he saw Vi winking looking at Saks. He hitted Vi's head lightly, Vi grinned at him and hugged Mahi tightly mumbling Thank u so much bhai. U r the best. I love u alot.
Mahi smiled and hugged him back patting his head softly.
