"Please, Jenna can't hear us. She's blind."

It was the middle of the night and Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and I were all waiting in Spencer's car as we waited for Emily. "It was just the two of you in Garrett's car?" Hanna asks curiously.
"I didn't know where else to meet him." Spencer says as she shrugs her shoulders. "Wait so what happened? What did I miss?" I ask confused.
"Apparently, Garrett said that we can find the weapon that was used on Ali in the coroner's report." Spencer explains to me. "Why didn't you ask him this stuff somewhere else?" I ask confused.
"It wasn't like I could ask him this stuff down at the precinct." Spencer explains to us. "How'd you get away from him?" Aria asks concerned. "When you sent me that text, I told him it was from my mom. She wanted me home asap." Spencer says to us.
"Am I still shaking? I'm still shaking." Spencer says nervously. "Yeah well we're all shaking." Hanna says annoyed. "Can you turn on the heat? You can make a slushy back here." Hanna says sarcastically.
"Guys. Why would Jenna give him that lantern?" Aria asks confused. "How do you know about that again?" I ask confused. "Mike had it with him." Aria explains as she turns to me.
"Mike had it? Why?" I ask concerned. "He stole it from Garrett's house. I thought he stole it from Jenna, but he said he got it from Garrett Reynold's house." Aria explains to us.
"Mike's still stealing?" I ask worried. "He said he'll stop, but I don't know." Aria says unsure.
I sigh as I lean back on the chair. "Have you talked to him since you guys broke up?" Spencer asks curiously. "Not in person, but I did leave him a voice mail the other day." I say with a small smile.
"Guys come on, why would Jenna give him that lantern?" Aria asks impatiently. "You don't know she gave it to him." Hanna says unsure.
"What do you think, he bought it at the blind artist's crafts fair?" Spencer asks sarcastically. "Of course she gave it to him. The question is when did they become buddies. And why?"
"Spencer they grew up across the street from each other." Hanna says annoyed. "His parents still live in that house. Maybe he's just bringing raw meat to Jenna's cat."
"Toby lives there too and they don't have a cat." Spencer says confused. "Then maybe he's bringing over raw meat to Jenna." Hanna says with a smirk.
"Here comes Em." I say as I scoot over to the middle seat. "Who's living in her house now?" Spencer asks as she turns back to us.
"Some losers who can't figure out the alarm system. They've tripped it like three times and the security company keeps calling her mom in Texas." Hanna explains to us.
I sigh as I see Emily open the car door. "Hey, Em. Everything okay?" I ask concerned. "Yeah, it's fine." She says with a small smile.
"It's just so weird to walk in there and see other people's stuff." Emily says as she shrugs her shoulders.
"Hey why don't you tell them to lay off the alarm for a couple of days?" Hanna asks annoyed. "I'm guessing they don't feel safe." Emily explains to us.
"Well they do now." Hanna says annoyed. "I'm sure Aria's parents are gonna have Mike on lockdown till he turns 18."
"You did not just say that Han." Aria says annoyed. "What? I'm not judging. I'm just guessing your little brother will find another hobby besides breaking and entering." Hanna points out.
"You say that Hanna, but it's not like your hobbies of shoplifting are any better." I say annoyed.
"Guys look. I don't know what's going on with my little brother." Aria says annoyed. "If I knew, you would know."
I sigh as I lean back and cross my arms. "Emily?" Spencer asks confused. "Is that Garrett's car?" We all look to see Garrett drive by and on his way to Jenna's house.
"I think it is." Emily says worried. "Where is he going?" I ask confused.
"To his parent's I guess."
We all duck as we see him get out of the car. I slowly peek out again as he walks into a house. "Wait he's not going into his parents house." I say confused. "He's going into Jenna's house." Aria points out.
"Is Toby home?" I ask confused. "No. He went to go get his parents from the airport and I thought he said that Jenna went with him." Spencer says confused.
"He's going inside." I say confused. "He just walked in!" Emily points out.
We all exit the car and quietly make our way towards the house. Well at least some of us were. Hanna's shoes are loud. "Can you walk any softer?" Spencer asks concerned.
"Please, Jenna can't hear us. She's blind." Hanna whispers to us.
"You mean..." I start but Hanna cuts me off. "You know what I mean." She says annoyed.
We all sneak around Jenna's house and walk towards the window. I gasp when I see her there right in front of the window. I raise an eyebrow confused as she starts taking off her jacket and talking to someone.
All of a sudden Garrett walks in making us all gasp. I start cringing when I see Jenna and Garrett kissing.
"Jenna and Garrett?"

It was the next day in school and I was by the lockers with Emily. "How are you feeling about the meet?" I ask as I lean against the locker next to hers.
"Nervous. The scout from Danby's coming and I feel like this is the only way I can turn this lie around before it gets worse." Emily says as she puts some of her books away.
"Well don't stress too much about it Em. You'll be fine." I say with a small smile. "Someone's coming at your three o'clock."
I smile as she turns her head to see her father approach us. "Dad? How? What?" Emily asks in disbelief as she hugs him.
"I wanted to surprise you after the meet." Mr. Fields says as he hugs his daughter.
"It's good to see you (y/n). I heard about your situation. I hope you're doing okay." Mr. Fields says as he turns to me. "I'm alright sir. Doing much better now." I say with a small smile.
"Is mom with you?" Emily asks curiously. "No. She's still in Texas. I had to be in Delaware for a training seminar and they cancelled all the flights back." He explains to her. "Some huge storm down there. So I figured I could either sit in the airport in Bethesda or in the stands in Rosewood."
I smile as I look at the two. This makes me really wish I had parents.
"You drove all the way up here?" Emily asks concerned. "Well your mom said it was an important meet. She said that you told her that the scout from Danby College is coming." Mr. Fields explains.
"I did?" Emily asks confused. I slightly nudge her shoulder and raise an eyebrow at her. "Oh, right I did, yeah." Emily says quickly.
"I'm looking forward to meeting him. What's his name again? Rabin?" He asks confused. "Dad, I wish I'd known." Emily says nervously.
"Don't worry alright? I know you have your whole pre-race routine, so I'm not gonna hold you up. But if you hear somebody screaming in the stands like a crazy person, it's me." He says with a smile.
I just chuckle as I look between the two. "Go get 'em." He says before walking away.
I sigh and take a look around as Emily bends down to grab her bag. All of a sudden she's holding her side and groaning in pain. "Emily? Are you alright?" I ask concerned.
My eyes grow wide as I see her fall to the ground groaning and screaming in pain. "Emily!" I yell as I try to help her up. I turn my head around worried until I see Garrett across the hall. "Garrett help!"
"L31 requesting a rescue ambulance unit at Rosewood high school! You're gonna be okay." Garrett says as he tries to help her.
"I'll go call your dad."

I was waiting in the hospital lobby waiting for the girls. After Emily's incident I called her dad and called the girls right after. "Hey there you guys are." I say as I make my way over to Spencer and Hanna.
"How is she?" Spencer asks concerned. "She's with her dad right now. The doctors said she has an ulcer." I explain to them.
"Aren't ulcer's something old people get?" Hanna asks confused. "Get that look off your face." I say as I cross my arms. "You're gonna freak her out." Spencer adds on.
"Her? What about me? I'm having deja vu." Hanna complains to us. "I spent a week in this place. If I see another bowl of green jello, I'm gonna puke on your shoes."
I sigh as we reach the elevator. All of a sudden Hanna's phone starts ringing. "Who is it?" I ask confused. "Is it Aria?" Spencer asks curiously.
"It's Caleb. I'll just call him back later." Hanna says as she puts her phone away. "Is something wrong?" I ask concerned.
"Han are you and Caleb...?" Spencer starts, but Hanna cuts her off. "We're fine. There's just stuff going on."
"What kind of stuff?" I ask as I step into the elevator. "Like an undercover cop in a car following him." Hanna explains to us.
"Why?" Spencer asks confused. "I don't wanna talk about it." Hanna says annoyed. "You're in an elevator. What else are you gonna do?" I ask annoyed.
"Does Caleb know?" I ask concerned. "No, I haven't told him." Hanna says as she turns to me. "Why not?" I ask confused.
"Because I'm still thinking things through." Hanna says annoyed. "What is there to think through?" I ask confused.
"Look if I tell him, he might run, okay? I'm not ready to lose him again." Hanna says to me. "You aren't gonna lose him Hanna, cause I don't know what I would do if I lost him again as well." I say with a small smile.
"Look if the cops are after him, you're gonna lose him anyways." Spencer says as she looks between me and Hanna.
I take a deep breath and turn to Hanna before walking out of the elevator.

We made our way to Emily's room as she's still resting in the hospital. "So all those muscle spasms and the pain-- that's all coming from your stomach?" Hanna asks concerned.
"Yeah, but ulcers can heal." I say reassuring them. "Yeah. It's not forever Em." Spencer adds on.
"Yeah, but she's got like a hole--"
"Yes there's a hole in her stomach. Moving on!" Spencer says annoyed.
I just sigh and turn to Emily. "Where's your dad?" I ask concerned. "He went to the house to talk to the new tenants. Guys, I have to deal with this. I can't keep lying to him." Emily says worried.
"I guess not, not if it's eating holes in your stomach."
"Moving on!"
"Hey, I'm sorry. I got here as soon as I could. I have to escape family court in my living room." Aria says as she walks in the room with cups of coffee in her hands.
"Mike on trial?" Hanna jokes. "Yeah, but the defendant didn't even show up." Aria says annoyed. "I got your fave." She says as she hands Emily a cup of coffee.
"Oh, she can't drink coffee." I say with an apologetic smile.
"Yeah, she's got a hole in her stomach." Hanna whispers as she turns to Aria. I just roll my eyes as I turn to Emily.
"How do you live with her?" I whisper to Emily making her chuckle.
"Um, I'll trade it in for herbal tea." Spencer says as she gets up from the bed. "Unless you want us all here when your dad gets back."
"She's not telling her dad." Hanna says making us all turn to her. "If he finds out the letter's fake, he's gonna move her to Texas."
"If she doesn't tell him, she's not gonna get any better." Spencer says annoyed.
"Guys just calm down. Let Emily decide what she's gonna do. It's her choice if she wants to tell or not." I say annoyed.
"Yeah, she doesn't have to make up her mind right this second." Aria says backing me up. "She already has." Emily says making us turn to her.
"I'm telling him the truth."

It was later that day and Hanna said she needed me to get Caleb. Why? Who knows. It's Hanna.
"Why are we here?" Caleb asks confused. "How should I know. All Hanna told me was to "get Caleb I wanna go see a movie", so I did." I say as I turn to him.
"Hey guys get in." Hanna says as she drives by.
I raise an eyebrow at her confused before getting in the car with Hanna. "What's going on?" Caleb asks confused. "What are you wearing?" I ask as I point to her outfit.
She had on a white head scarf and some sunglasses. Totally not suspicious. "Just hurry up get in!" Hanna yells as she points to Caleb.
I take a deep breath as Caleb gets in. "I thought you wanted to catch a movie?" Caleb asks confused. "Close the door!" Hanna yells at Caleb.
"Or we can just be in one." Caleb says annoyed.

"What are we doing here?" I ask as I get out of the car. "Just come on in." Hanna says annoyed. "What is this place?" Caleb asks confused.
"Spencer's lake house." I say confused. "Why are we here?" I ask as I turn to Hanna. "Do they know we're here?" Caleb asks confused.
"Nope."
"So we're breaking in." Caleb says in disbelief. "We're borrowing it." Hanna says annoyed. "Is this kindling?" She asks as she holds up a piece of wood.
Caleb just hums as he turns to Hanna. "Not unless you wanna burn the couch." Caleb jokes as he undoes the covers of the couch.
"Can I help?"
Hanna and I watch as Caleb makes the fire. "So are you going to lose the scarf and shades or did you bring a costume for me too?" Caleb jokes as he walks over to the couch.
"Caleb there's someone following you." Hanna says getting straight to the point.
"What?" Caleb asks in disbelief. I just shrug my shoulders as he turns to me confused. "She thinks it's a cop." I say unsure.
"He drives a dark grey Camaro and I've seen him around town a lot lately." Hanna explains to us. "He's definitely watching you."
"Have you noticed him?" I ask concerned. "No. But then again, I guess I've kinda stopped looking." Caleb explains to us.
"Have you been followed before?" Hanna asks concerned. "No."
"Does this have to do with the stuff you did in Allentown?" Hanna asks as she turns to Caleb. "Maybe."
"What happened in Allentown?" I ask confused. "I used to work for car thieves as a computer hacker." Caleb explains as he turns to me.
"What?" I ask worried. "Don't worry. I realized it was wrong and moved away before they could catch me." Caleb says reassuring me.
"Look I've already told you way more than you need to know." Caleb says as he turns to Hanna. "What does he want?" She asks concerned. "I mean if he wants to arrest you what is he waiting for? What does he think you did?"
"I don't know." Caleb replies honestly. "But if he has a question to ask me, he needs to come up and ask me. I'm not hiding."
"Maybe you should be. Both of you." Hanna says as she looks at me. "I mean your business isn't exactly in the yellow pages."
"We do what we can to survive Hanna." I say annoyed.
"This is why you brought me here?" Caleb asks confused. "I thought it might be safer here." Hanna explains to us.
"I don't wanna hide." Caleb says as he looks at me. "Hanna I'll deal with this." He says reassuring us. "By leaving town again?" Hanna asks worried.
"This time? No. I won't." Caleb says as he looks at the both of us. "You say that now, but you will." Hanna says annoyed.
"Hanna."
"But if you do, can I come with you?" Hanna asks as she turns to him. "I'll pack really fast."
"So you're both going to leave me?" I ask in disbelief. "We're not leaving. I'll deal with him. Don't worry." Caleb says reassuring me.
I cringe as I see Caleb and Hanna kiss. "Yeah... I'm just gonna get going. My ride's here." I say as I get up from the couch.
"I'll see you guys later. Use protection! I don't wanna be an auntie yet!"

I quickly exit the lake house and hop into Jason's car. "Hey thanks for picking me up. I honestly don't wanna be around when Hanna and Caleb are there making out." I say annoyed.
I love the two, but I don't wanna watch the two.
"No problem." Jason says as he puts his hands on the wheel. "Can I ask you something?" He asks as he turns to me.
"Sure."
"What are we?" He asks as he looks me in the eye. "You know how much I like you. I just want to confirm what we are."
I take a deep breath as I hold his hand. "I want to be with you Jason. After the night we spent together." I smile as I look at him. "I want you."
"That's all I needed to hear." He says as he leans in to kiss me. "Be my girlfriend?" He asks as he pulls away.
I smile as lean in to kiss him again. "I already am."

Jason parks the car in front of the hospital about an hour later. "Thanks Jason. I'll see you later." I say as I kiss him on the cheek.
"I'll see you later (y/n/n)." He says as he unlocks the door letting me leave. I grab my bag and exit his car giving him another wave goodbye as he drives off. I take a deep breath before walking into the hospital and going straight to Emily's room.
"Hey what's going on?" I ask as I walk in her room. Both Aria and Spencer were there with Emily. "What are you wearing?" I ask as I point to their outfits. "You look like a candy cane." I say confused.
"Don't bother with the outfit. Just take a look at this." Spencer says as she hands me a bottle. "Your pain cream?" I ask confused.
"'A' found a way to get inside my medicine which means 'A' was the reason I'm in the hospital." Emily explains to me.
"'A' is in our medicine cabinets too? This has to be a new record." I say in disbelief. "How long has it been in your system?" I ask concerned.
"Did it damage any organs?" Aria asks concerned. "Forget about my organs! It's on my medical chart!" Emily yells frustrated. "It's ruined my life! I can never swim again!"
"Emily, medical records are private." Spencer says reassuring her. "Not from my parents!" Emily says worried.
"What are you gonna tell your dad?" Aria asks concerned. "I'm gonna tell him to get me outta here. Take me to Texas. I'm done." Emily says worried. "It can't get any worse than this."
"Emily. Remember 'A' tried to plow down Hanna with a car." Spencer says reminding her. "Is that supposed to make me feel better?" Emily asks annoyed.
"I'm just saying. 'A' tried to take one of us down and it didn't work." Spencer says annoyed. "Spencer! 'A' is taking us down. One at a time." Emily tells her.
"Aria's probably next. 'A' already ruined (y/n)'s life. I mean just look at her situation." Emily says as she points to me.
I silently gulp and look down as we all stay silent. "Can we all go to Texas?" I ask worried.
"No!" Spencer yells at us. "Stop it! We're not giving into this freak! Look we are this close to finding out what happened to Alison and if 'A' is the one who killed her."
"And Ian." Aria adds on. "And 'A' is the one who's gonna leave Rosewood. Not us." Spencer says confidently.
I sigh as I hear a knock on the door revealing her dad. "Hi. Sorry to interrupt." Mr. Fields says as he walks in. "No worries." Spencer says worried. "We actually just have to get back to work." Spencer says as she points to her and Aria.
"When did you two start volunteering at the hospital?" He asks curiously. "Today's actually our first day. We're still on hour one." Aria explains to him. "We'll take this for you." Aria says as she rolls the tray of food out of the room.
"I should probably get going too. Feel better Em." I say as I walk towards the door. "Bye Mr. Fields." I quickly shut her door allowing the two to talk things through.
"What are you guys gonna do now?" I ask confused. "We need to find those records of Alison so since you don't have an outfit do you want me to get you one?" Spencer asks as she points to what she's wearing.
"No thank you. I don't wanna look like a candy cane. So you guys go get it and I'll wait for you in the lobby. Just call me when you get it and I'll meet you back in Emily's room." I say as I walk away from them.

It was later that night and Spencer just called me over to Emily's room. "Hey did you get it?" I ask as I enter her room.
"You took this?" Emily asks as she takes the folder from Spencer. "We're gonna give it back." Spencer says reassuring her. "Just look at the summary page."
I make my way next to Emily as we read through the summary page. All of a sudden Aria's phone starts buzzing making us turn to her. "That must be Hanna." Spencer tells us.
"No, it's Ezra. I was supposed to call him." Aria says as she looks up at us. "Ok. Go ahead." I say as I turn to her.
"He's downstairs. I'll be right back." Aria says as she exits the room. "Hey what's this?" Emily asks as she points to the page. "Displaced cranium?" She asks confused.
"She was hit on the head with something." I say as I read through it. "Curved blunt weapon?" Emily asks confused.
"That's a field hockey stick." Spencer tells us. "So Alison was hit on the back of her head with a field hockey stick?" I ask confused.
"Aria doesn't wanna hear this, but Jason is looking worse and worse." Spencer tells us. "Jason? What does Jason have to do with this?" I ask worried.
"Jason might be the one who did this to Ali." Spencer explains to me. I just glare at her and shake my head. "No Jason wouldn't do that to her." I say as I continue to shake my head in disbelief.
"Remember that time Ali tried to hit Jason with a field hockey stick? He might be getting his revenge." Spencer says to me.
I just scoff and take some of the pages ignoring her. Jason wouldn't do that to his sister. I hear Spencer sigh as she goes through the pages. "Where's page 5?" She asks confused.
"Did you drop one of the pages?" Emily asks as she looks from her folder. "No. We took the whole file." Spencer says in a panic.
"Maybe you dropped it in the elevator?" I ask unsure. "No, nothing dropped." Spencer says worried.
"Look here's page 1,2,3,4... page 6. Where the hell is page 5?"
