Y/N POV
Today was your best friend's wedding. As you attended the most important day of your closest friend's life, you couldn't help but be blown away by the beauty of it.
The gorgeous white path they walked on, with fresh nature outlining the path. The flowers filled the banquet hall, transforming the room into the Garden of Eden. The luxurious food with the classic wedding music playing in the background. The elegant lights shining down on the stage, making them look like stars in the pitch-black ceiling. Everything about this day was beautiful.
You watched as the newlyweds walked down the heavenly path, with their arms linked together. The bride wearing an angel-like dress and your best friend wearing the suit you picked out for him for this very occasion. They both looked so happy, and their smile was contagious, making you shine your teeth like a goofball.
As they reached the end of the walkway, you couldn't help but grin from ear to ear as they kissed each other. This was the start of their happy future together, one that would last until they are grey and old.
For that particular night, you and your best friend drank like there was no tomorrow. He was finally settling down, and you knew this opportunity would soon become a rare one. As drinks kept pouring, he and you kept on gulping down alcohol, us both using the excuse of his marriage as a final time to party.
However, as you were chugging down your shots, random thoughts about your future began to swarm your head.
To think your closest friend found his loving partner already. A person he would spend the rest of his life with... A person he will grow old with... A person that will stay with him forever, a partner till death do them part.
You envied what they had already achieved, but you were hastily catching up to your best friend, already having a perfect candidate to be your wife, Jeon Heejin.
Although you never asked Heejin to become your wife, you thought you had found the one. The soulmate for whom you have been searching your whole life. The girl you wanted to spend the rest of the days on earth with.
You and Heejin have been friends for many years and have been dating even more. This year would be our 7th year together in a happy and strong relationship.
You always wanted to ask her to be your wife, but you never found the right time. Each time you thought you had built up the courage to ask, you bail out at the last minute.
You even bought her a glamorous diamond ring, and it leaves a massive hole in your bank account. However, even though you already had all the preparation to propose, you just hadn't. You even kept the ring a secret, trying to not let her in on the big surprise.
As you celebrated your friend's wedding, you wondered when it would be your turn.....

You returned to the apartment you and Heejin shared, and while you walked over to the front door, you kept on stumbling over your own feet. You were so intoxicated that you could barely stand and even had to take a cab home, definitely not sober enough to drive.
You fiddle with your keys, not able to correctly open the door, your vision turning into a blur. As you struggled at the door, it soon swung open and you were greeted by your loving girlfriend, Heejin. And she did not look happy...
Heejin: "Y/N... Do you know what time it is? I was worried sick..." she said with a somewhat upset and angry face. Usually, Heejin would be the person in the relationship to act like the kid, but this time was different, almost as if our roles were reversed.
Y/N: "Sorry..." you said as you stumbled inside of our apartment. You looked at her again, and with her hand crossed, she looked at you with a disapproving glare.
Heejin: "You know drinking is bad for you..." she said, preparing to scold you.
Heejin didn't like it when you drank. An occasional drink was fine, but with you reeking of alcohol, she was super worried about you. Usually, when you're drunk, you know your boundaries. You were often the soberest person in your friend group, not drinking much at all, only having a few drinks to have fun.
However, today was not that type of day... It was different... You never drank that much ever in your whole life... Everything felt dizzy...Your vision is beginning to blur... You feel sick to your stomach...It felt as if the sun was burning you from the inside out, even though it was late in the night... It was a feeling much worse than feeling buzzed.
Not only did Heejin hate how bad alcohol was for your system, but she also hated the fact that you become a complete idiot when you're drunk. We have the goofballs, the loudmouths, the talkative ones, the silent ones, the throw-up ones. When a person drinks, they become a different person. And for you, you become an idiot, having no logic in your words.
As you walk inside your apartment, using the wall for balance, you slowly begin to fade out of your consciousness. It was like you were being mind-controlled, your body moving, but you have no control over your actions. Your mind eventually went blank as the alcohol took over your brain. You were officially wasted...

Heejin POV
You watched as your boyfriend came back home in his terrible drunken state. You knew he went to his best friend's wedding, but still, to end up this drunk... It's not good for his heart...
Heejin: "Y/N... How much did you drink this time? You're completely wasted," you said while staring into his eyes, obviously upset with your lover.
Y/N: "I'm not drunk!" he said, completely denying the thought. You rolled your eyes at the dumb man.
Heejin: "Oh really? Do you know how late it is? Can you even tell the time?" you said, trying to prove how drunk your dumb boyfriend really was.
Y/N: "Yeah!" he said as he turned to face a nearby clock. "I'm not drunk!" he told the inanimate object, completely misinterpreting her sentence.
Heejin: "Y/N... You're an idiot," you said with a disappointed look, you facepalming.
You watched as he tried to walk further inside the house, nearly tripping over his foot. And the only reason why he didn't fall face-first onto the wooden floor was that you caught him. You eventually dragged him to our bedroom and threw him onto the bed, wanting him to get some needed rest.
You soon got ready for bed, and as you lay next to him, he couldn't help but let his mouth run, speaking all types of gibberish. Some words were completely inaudible, but then he said.
Y/N: "You're beautiful," he said as he stared into your eyes. You couldn't help but laugh a tiny bit. Some sweet words, but you knew he only said that because he's under the influence.
Heejin: "That's just the alcohol speaking," you retorted back. You then listen as he begins to give you endless amounts of compliments.
Y/N: "Heekkie...My little bunny... You're so pretty... You're like an angel...You're like the perfect girlfriend..." he muttered out. As the list kept going on, you couldn't help but smile with each word he said. Does he actually think of you like this?
However, in his sea of admiration, one sentence stood out to you. One sentence that made your heart melt.
Y/N: "Heekkie... I'm so lucky to have you," he said, smiling at you. You couldn't help but smile from ear to ear as you hear his words, your heart filling with butterflies instantly. Your heart was so warm, you couldn't handle the fluff.
Heejin: "Hehehehe," you chuckled, unable to keep your happiness bottled up inside. "Now hush... Go to sleep..." you said while stroking his hair, almost as if he was a baby. As you slowly stroked his hair, you watched as his eyes slowly closed, him falling asleep. However, he said something that made your heart explode with love.
Y/N: "I love you so much... I hope we can get married too and grow old together..." he quietly muttered out, making a pink color instantly flush all across your face
Heejin: "AHHHHHHH!" you mentally screamed, completely fluffed up about what he just said.
The fact that he thought about marrying you, made your heartbeat ten times faster. Gosh!!! Why must he be so cute!?!? You couldn't help but smile, your face feeling like it got a permanent tattoo of your pearly white teeth.
Heejin: "Night dummy...." you said with a tender smile, giving him a small peck on the forehead. Even though you are mad at him, you honestly couldn't be happier.

Y/N POV
You wake up feeling like shit. You got up off the bed, but as soon as you did, your body felt like it was crumbling. You were in so much pain, and you couldn't remember anything that happened last night, not even how you got back home.
With a brain-splitting headache, you walk over to the kitchen and you see your girlfriend, making what seemed to be breakfast. As you enter the kitchen, you watch as Heejin turns around and gives you a deadly glare. Oh shit! She's mad, and you knew you were about to get an earful.
Heejin: "How many times do I have to tell you?!? Drinking is bad for you! Don't get that drunk ever again!" she said, with anger filling each word, making you slightly flinch. Nothing is worse than Heejin being mad, nothing in the world.
You held your head down in shame, feeling like a little kid being scolded. She's right though... Drinking is bad, and for you to be so drunk, you didn't know how you got home, it said something.
However, she then places a bowl of hangover soup in front of you, surprising you a bit. You looked up and were greeted with a beautiful smile, coming from your loving girlfriend.
Heejin: "Y/N, I will always be here with you... Even if you are dumb, I will always help you until we are old..." she said, making you melt. You look at her, as she gave you the most wonderful smile in the whole world. You were so lucky to have her.
Maybe you should just propose.

Diving deeper into Loona. Currently trying to understand their personalities, and I feel like this one shot is more like Yves or Haseul, but screw it. Heejin is slowly working her way up my bias list so yeah. Next one is going to Choerry.
