"I swear I left him right here." Loki said. "Right here on the sidewalk, or right where the building is being demolished? Great planning." You deadpanned. ""I'm not a witch." Loki said. "Then why did you dress like one?" Thor asked. "Hey!" You and Loki said together. You were a witch, and you dressed nothing like Loki. Thor, realizing this, looked at you. "Oh! Sorry, (Y/n). I didn't mean it." He said. "I can't believe you're alive!" Thor growled to Loki. "I saw you die. I mourned you, I cried for you." He said. You began to feel bad for Thor. It was true. Even though the two of them had been enemies their whole lives, Thor still cared for Loki, no matter how many bad deeds he did. And you could see it clearly. Even back when you and The Avengers were fighting against Loki to save the earth, you saw how much Thor tried to talk Loki out of his plans, how much Thor tried to help him. You knew that Thor felt that deep down Loki was and could be a good guy.

"I'm... honored?" Loki asked. Just then, two young women came up to you. ""Hi, would you mind taking a picture with us?" You nodded. "Oh, um... sure. I can do that." You said. You posed with them and they squealed in excitement, looking extremely proud of themselves. "Thank you." They said. You smiled. "No problem." You said. One of them looked at Thor as they walked off. "Oh, sorry to hear that Jane dumped you." Thor stared at her as she walked off, an embarrassed look on his face. "She didn't dump me you know, I dumped her. It was a mutual dumping." He said to both of you, and you snickered as Loki patted him on the back. You look down at Loki's feet to see a strange orange circle on the concrete. "Loki, what's this? What are you doing?" You asked. "This isn't me." Then the ground opened up under him, and he was gone. "Loki!" You said.

Thor sees a card on the sidewalk where Loki was. Thor pokes the business card. "Loki?" He asked. He picks up the card. You and Thor went to the location on the card. You knocked on the door. Suddenly you and Thor were inside the house. You looked around wildly. "What the..." you mumbled. "Thor Odinson." You and Thor turned around. "God of Thunder." He looked at you. "(Y/n) (L/n), the witch." He said. He then looked back at Thor, who was holding an umbrella Mjolnir out in front of him. "You can put down the umbrella." He said. Thor gives Strange a sideways look but then sets his umbrella down. When he looks back up, the environment is furnished. "So earth has wizards now?" Thor asked. "The preferred term is "Master of the Mystic Arts." Strange said. "Alright wizard, who are you? Why should we care?" You asked. "My name is Doctor Stephen Strange and I have some questions for you two. Take a seat." He said.

You, Thor and Strange are now sitting in high-backed chairs. "Tea?" Strange asked. You and Thor now have a cup of tea in your hands. "I don't drink tea." Thor said. "What do you drink?" Strange asked. "Not tea." Thor said. Thor now has a stein of beer in his hand. "So I keep a watch list of individuals and beings from other realms that may be a threat to this world. Your adopted brother Loki is one of these beings." Strange said. "He's a worthy inclusion." Thor said. "Then why bring him here?" Strange asked. "We're looking for his father." You said. "So. If I were to tell you where Odin was, all parties concerned would promptly return to Asgard?" Strange asked. "Promptly." Thor said. "Great. Then I'll help you." Strange said. "If you knew where he was, why didn't you call me?" Thor asked. "I have to tell you, he was adamant that he not be disturbed. Your father said he had chosen to remain in exile. And you don't have a phone." Strange said.

You chuckled at this. "No, I don't have a phone, but you could have sent an electronic letter. It's called an email." Thor said. "Yeah, do you have a computer?" Strange asked. "No. What for?" Thor asked. You face palmed. 'Yeah, I don't think Thor really knows much about this stuff.' You thought to yourself. "Anyway, my father is no longer in exile. So if you could tell me where he is, I can take him home." Thor said. "Gladly. He's in Norway." Strange said. Strange stands up and suddenly they are standing by a bookcase. Strange takes down an ancient book and flips through it. "I'm just seeing whether this incantation requires any Asgardian modifications." Strange said. You stood still and tried to steady yourself. "Nope." Suddenly you are all across the room at Strange's work station. Because Thor was touching the bookcase, he has magically brought it across the room as well.

"Oh, we don't need that." Strange said. Suddenly you and Thor are back across the room. Books fall off the shelf and Thor's beer spills. "Will you stop doing that?" You asked. "I need just one strand of your hair." Strange said. "Let me explain something, my hair is not to be meddled wi-!" Strange is behind Thor, he plucks a strand of hair. Strange extends the hair, infuses it with magic, does a few gestures that create a bright light and suddenly you and Thor are rolling down the stairs. A magic portal leading into a peaceful meadow has opened beside Strange. "We could have just walked you know." You said. Strange conjured a portal, and on the other side was a beautiful green plain. "He's waiting for you." Strange said. "Alright. Let's go, (Y/n)." Thor said. You nodded. "Don't forget your umbrella." Strange said.

"Oh, yes." Thor stretched out a hand, and several bangs and crashes followed. "Sorry." Thor said. Then the umbrella finally appeared and flew into Thor's hand. He patted it and shards of glass flew everywhere. "I suppose I'll need my brother back." Thor said. "Yeah, right." Strange said. He twirled his arm in the air, and a portal just like the one beside him appeared behind. A yell could be heard, and Loki fell from the sky, landing hard on the ground. He looked up. "I have been falling... for thirty minutes!" Loki shouted. You held back laughter, then you went to help him up. "Thanks." He mumbled. "You're welcome." You said. "You two can handle him from here," Strange said. "Yes, of course. Thank you very much for your help," Thor said, shaking the doctor's hand. "Handle me?" he asked, looking at Strange. "Who are you?"

Loki had drawn his daggers. "You think you're some kind of sorcerer. Don't think for one minute you second rated-" "Alright, buh bye!" Strange flung the portal at the three of you as soon as Loki lunged forward. All three of you land on the ground. You groaned as you got up. "You okay, (Y/n)?" Thor asked. You nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." You said. Loki stood up too. "Father?" Thor asked, as he saw Odin standing at the other side of the meadow at the cliff's edge, waves crashing below. You three approach him quickly. "Look at this place. It's beautiful." Odin said. "Father, it's us." Thor said. "My sons. I've been waiting for you." Odin said. Loki looked surprised. Odin then noticed you. "Who is this?" He asked. "She's our friend. Her name is (Y/n)." Thor said. Odin smiled. "Hello, Odin." You smiled. "Hello, my dear." He said. "Father, we've come to take you home." Thor said.

"Home, yes. Your mother, she calls me. Do you hear it?" Odin asked. You gasped. Thor fires a look at Loki, who holds up his hands in defense. "Loki, lift your magic." Thor said. Odin turns to Loki, who stiffens. But Odin smiles. "Took me quite a while to break free from your spell. Frigga would have been proud." Odin said. Loki is moved by this gesture. He looks over to see Thor staring at him, anger building. You put a hand on Thor's shoulder, calming him. "Come and sit with me. I don't have much time." Odin said. Odin sits, out of breath, weak. His sons sit beside him. You watched as the three began to talk. "I know that we failed you, but we can make this right." Thor said. "I failed you. It is upon us...Ragnarok." Odin said. "No, we've stopped Ragnarok. (Y/n) and I put an end to Surtur." Thor said. "No. It has already begun. She's coming. My life was all that held her back, but my time has come. I cannot keep her away any longer." Odin said.

"Who are you talking about?" You asked. "The Goddess of Death. Hela. My first born." Odin faces Thor. "Your sister." You looked at Odin in shock. Thor and Loki had a sister?! That hits Thor hard. Loki can't believe what he's hearing. "...what?" Thor asked. "Her violent appetites grew beyond my control. I couldn't stop her, so I imprisoned her. Locked her away. She draws her strength from Asgard...and once she gets there, her powers will be limitless." Odin said. "Whatever she is, we can stop her. We can face her together." Thor said. "No we won't. I'm on a different path now. This you must face alone." Odin said. Odin looks into Thor's eyes, struggling to breathe. "I love you my sons." Odin said. For the briefest of instances, the father and sons share a quiet moment together. Tears well in Thor's eyes. You felt so sorry for the two of them. "Thor..." you mumbled. "Look at that." Odin said. All of you turned and looked at sun-rays streaming down upon the ocean.

A warm glow washes over Thor's face and he turns to see that Odin is disappearing into stardust. You gasped. Suddenly the sky above darkened and the wind picked up. Thor stands and turns toward Loki, his eyes burning with rage. Loki takes a step back. You watched as Thor became angrier. "Brother..." Loki said. Thor faces Loki. Electricity crackles at Thor's hands. "This was your doing." Thor said. You quickly teleported in front of them. "Guys..." you said. Suddenly a green portal was swirling in the air. They both walked up beside you, one on each side. Thor slammed his umbrella on the ground, causing a flash of lightning. When it faded, he was in his armor, red cape billowing in the wind. Loki summoned his with a flash of green. You put your hands out, fire on one hand and ice on the other.

A beautiful, dangerous looking black haired woman came out of the portal. She wore a tattered black and green suit of armor, and she had an evil smirk on her face. "So he's gone?" She asked. "That's a shame. I would've liked to have seen that." She said. Thor spoke next. "You must be Hela. I'm Thor, son of Odin." She cocked her head. "Really?" she asked. "You don't look like him." "Perhaps we can come to an arrangement." Loki said calmly. "You sound like him." She said, pointing at him. She then tilted her head towards you. "And who might you be?" She asked. "(Y/n) (L/n)." You said. "Ah. The witch. You have many powers, such as elemental, healing, and many others. Your parents were born normal, killed by the winter soldier Bucky Barnes. Am I correct?" She asked. You nodded angrily. "You would make a great addition to my army." She said. You raised an eyebrow. "Your army?" You asked. "Yes. The Asgard army." She said. Your eyes widened. Thor and Loki glanced at each other, before looking back at their sister.

"You stay away from her." Thor growled. Hela looked at them. "Protective, are we?" She mocked. "You heard him. Back off." Loki growled. Hela looked slightly amused. "Kneel." Hela said. "Beg your pardon?" Loki asked. She smiled evilly, and summoned a sword with the flick of her arm. "Kneel. Before your queen." She said. Thor shifted his weight. "I don't think so." He flung Mjolnir straight at her, aiming straight for her heart. She put her hand out and caught Mjolnir. You were surprised. "It's not possible." Thor panted. The hammer wavered in her grasp, and cracks started to form, a blue color against the grey metal. "Darling, you have no idea what's possible." She then shattered Mjolnir into a million pieces.
