You clutch your knees tightly to your chest, closing your eyes as you lean against the bathroom wall. You rock back and forth carefully while your chin rests on your arms and you stare at the floor, mumbling how this can't really be happening.
You can't really be pregnant.
It's not possible.
There's a knock at the door.
"Y/N? Baby please. I know you're upset and a little freaked out about what happened the other night but I promise you -"
"Go home, Shawn," You say sharply.
You bite your lip and choke back a sob. This cannot be real.
"Please just go away."
It was quiet on the other side for a while before there was a sigh, then he started fumbling around near the door until it swung open.
You jump, and he looks down at you, his gaze softening. "Um -"
"How did you get in here?"
"Doesn't take a genius to find a key on top of a door," He responds.
He looks over at the sink and brings his fingers to his lips, gasping. He bites his nails and looks worried.
"Are these.. ?"
"Positive pregnancy tests," You manage, still crying.
He looks back at you, his mouth still wide open, and his eyes suddenly became red.
"We're gonna have a baby?" His voice was small and shaky.
It hurts to nod. He smiles a little and sits down next to you, lacing his fingers in yours.
"This is. . this is so amazing, baby," He says excitedly.
You scrunch your nose. "Wait. . . you aren't gonna leave?"
He smiles and shakes his head. "Of course not, stupid. It was a mistake, but it was a good mistake."
You can't help but lean in and kiss him, rubbing the skin near his hair gently as he smiles through the whole kiss and whispers how he would never, ever leave you.
