Soon, thousands of demons surrounded Vierne, she looked at them when Delph grabbed her hands and pushed her down. "What a beauty," Delph grinned and Vierne grabbed him by this throat, he choked and struggled, "Beauty is a mark to lure the cursed. Curs like you, especially," She smirked.
Paimon stepped on her throat, "Leave him or I'll crush your neck,"
"Try me! I'd better die that way then die of getting raped by filth like you,"
Paimon laughed, "Filth? You mean that?"
He pointed at the blight on her neck, "The contamination has begun, lady gatekeeper,"
She clutched Delph's neck tighter, digging her claws into his skin, "PAIMON, SHE'LL KILL ME!"
Paimon moved his hands towards Delph's neck but Delph's neck suddenly fell away from his torso, his body falling back. He was dead. Paimon turned and looked up, he saw a golden glow on the windows high near the roof, opposite to where Leviathan sat.
He grunted his teeth, "Music..."
Vierne looked at him, his blue eyes shining in the golden light his body was giving off, his yellow cloak waving like a flag in strong wind, and his golden locks brushing his forehead. He wore golden armor on his chest with a treble clef drawn over it and bright purple boots, detailed like the universe. He held Vierne's septor in his arms, with a young, brunette boy beside him.
All the demons moved away from Vierne as the golden light covered her, and whichever demon touched it, turned to dust. He jumped down and ran towards Vierne, kissing her gently on her lips. Her spine healed and a golden armor formed around her chest, her elbows, her knees, and her shins. He had passed some spirit energy to her and moved away from her lips. He made a red cloak from his magic and wrapped it on her shoulders,
"It is okay, my lady," He hugged her gently, "I'm here now,"
She grabbed her hair and whispered into his ears, "You're late. I'll make sure to thoroughly punish you later,"
He looked away as his cheeks turn red.
She grabbed her septor from him and got up. She turned her back towards him while he was still on his knees, "But first," She smirked at Paimon, "Let's kick some ass,"
Lict made a golden sword,
"Shit!" Paimon ran away but four golden walls surrounded him, Lict's eyes glowed blue, "Don't run away like some wuss, face me like a real demon would,"
'Don't get involved with elites,' He remembered Satan's words, but now he was at a tight spot.
Paimon made a black sword and ran towards Lict, their swords collided, Lict smirked, "Wow, you're fucking weak," He jumped up and slashed his entire arm, Paimon jumped back and Vierne smashed his head with her septor. He fell on the floor and Lict pressed his purple boots over his neck, "Look around you," Golden light covered them, "Thousands of demons, yet none is brave enough to come help you. That's what your kind is! CRUEL COWARDS!"
He kicked Paimon out of the golden cubical walls, he fell among the demons, who gave way to Lict as he walked towards him. Vierne grabbed Annelece and looked around, killing all demons approaching them by spinning her powerful septor. As per Lict and Paimon, it was a one-sided match. Lict slit his arms away from his body by his sword and aimed straight at his neck next, but Paimon disappeared and attacked him from behind, though a chain of musical notes emerged from the ground and clutched his body tightly, breaking all his bones. He screamed in agony, "CURSE YOU, MUSIC!"
Paimon shouted as his human vessel broke apart and he came in his demonic form.
Vierne covered Annelece's eyes, "Don't look at him, you'll go insane,"
The swarm of demons grew, such huge numbers were hard to control. Ariel, who stood at the top window, fell on his knees and grabbed his shirt, 'Fuck, the same gross feeling I felt from Gäel,"
Annalece, Jevelene and Nataniel had reached the castle by then. As soon as they entered the gate, Nataniel shivered, "Shit!"
"What happened?" Jevelene asked.
"I feel really..." He got on his knees, "I feel horrible, all of a sudden, it's a strong presence,"
"Strong presence?" Jevelene looked at Adelaida, who was confused herself, "Of what?"
"Demons, thousands of them," Nataniel covered his mouth, "This place stinks,"
He pressed his hands on the snow beneath him and closed his eyes, and through the snow, he could see a vision, "I can see huge demons," He mumbled. Adelaida and Jevelene got down from the horse, "A woman with a blue septor covering someone, and a blonde boy with a golden sword, looks like Music, and..." He opened his eyes and looked at Jevelene,
"Ariel is there too,"
Jevelene's eyes widened.
"But, how did he get there before us?" Adelaida asked. Jevelene turned back and ran into the castle, "Jevelene, don't go inside!"
But she wasn't listening, she ran towards the ballroom, "I shouldn't have let him go alone,"
Ariel looked from the top of the window. He didn't want to go down in that swarm of demons, he was struggling to breathe, he wasn't used to demons. Leviathan sat on his throne, looking down at their agony, "This is getting boring now,"
He picked up a purple spear, "Let me just put an end to this,"
He jumped down, aiming at Vierne's neck while she was busy fighting other demons and protecting Annelece. Jevelene entered the hall and looked at Leviathan about to pierce his spear through Vierne's heart, "LEVIATHAN!" She screamed, Leviathan recognized that voice and stopped midair. He looked at Jevelene at the other end of the room, her face blooming the flower of love in his heart again, "Jevelene," His red eyes turned back to blue as his temper calmed down. Meanwhile, Vierne turned back and pieced the sharp end of the septor through his chest.
"NO!" Jevelene screamed.
"JEVELENE, YOU IDIOT!" Ariel yelled and jumped down the window, all the demons surrounded him, but he made a gold shield and ran towards her, "Grab my hand, quick!"
And so did she. He hugged her and made a huge golden wall between them and the demons.
Leviathan hung on Vierne's septor, blood running down his mouth. He tried to pull back when a sword pierced him from behind and protruded out from his stomach. Lict stood behind him, twisting his sword, he struck it up, tearing him open as golden musical notes released from his dark body which split him into two halves.
"NO! Please don't hurt him!" Jevelene yelled from the wall, trying to cross it and reach the gory destination, where both Lict and Vierne were covered in his blood and he slowly fell on the ground, "With your fawn gone, you're damned to hell too," Lict panted as he looked down at him, "A demised demon,"
Paimon lay on the ground, looking at him, "My lord..."
Leviathan snickered, "Better than an arrogant demigod," He faded away with all other demons.
"Leviathan!"
"Jevelene, he's a demon!" Ariel pulled her back.
"Just because he is a demon doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to live like you and me. He is good, Ariel-"
"HIS FAMILIAR TRIED TO RAPE A GATEKEEPER!" Ariel shouted at the top of his lungs and all other voices seemed to fade away, suppressed, "AND HE DID NOTHING, BUT WATCH! I SAW THAT, JEVELENE!" Jevelene looked at him in disbelief, "No, that can't be true. You're lying, Ariel,"
"Open your eyes, Jevelene," Ariel looked into her eyes, "We are demigods, he is a demon. We live in two different words that will never be one,"
Jevelene looked down, remembering the first time she met Leviathan and how gentle he was with her. Kinder than any human she had met before, he never said she looked bad. Not once. He didn't bother himself with outer appearances. He got her food even though he had nothing to gain from it, the time he made a garden for her, even though he didn't like flowers, and when he kissed her, the world seemed to have stopped. She pressed her hand over her heart, she could feel the rush in her veins, Ariel looked at her tiny hands, her red fingertips, "He helped me, I wanted to help him too,"
Ariel shook his head, "We can't,"
"I know we can't," She smiled, "But I really wished otherwise,"
"You're going to get yourself killed because of a goddamn demon,"
"I won't. Because I know you'll come to save me," She smiled.
"Oh hell no, nigga. Imma find myself some other bitch who ain't this troublesome and live peacefully with quality sex everyday,"
Jevelene giggled and looked at Vierne and Lict. They were covered in blood but hugging each other tightly. Ariel looked at them, "Looks like a couple. So, he came for her, huh,"
"Learn something from him, he didn't abandon her," Jevelene covered his laugher with her palm.
"She might be giving him hardcore sex at least five times a day, that's why" He gently grabbed her collar, "Can you?"
She blushed, "I-...I'm not a god of sex,"
He winked, "Don't worry, I'll teach you my trade,"
Lict moved away from Vierne, watching her blight slowly fade away,
"Did he die?" Ariel asked.
"Of course not," Vierne answered, "But he'll be away for a while,"
"Uncle!" Adelaida ran into the room and looked at Delph's beheaded corpse, "How did this happen?" She wept, "Oh uncle. Please don't leave me, you're the final blood I had known...Please brother, don't take him away from me,"
"Don't shed a tear for this monster. He trapped an innocent soul in a dungeon without food or water for nine years. I've never even seen a demon as cruel as this human," Vierne stood behind her. Adelaida looked up at Vierne and got up herself,
"Annelece?"
