After roaming around the garden for a few minutes I walked to the library.
I looked around for the guys, and seems like they aren't here yet.
Until then I thought of reading a novel on which we have to make a project.
I went over and sat down in my favorite corner of the library.
I got up looking for another book as I was having trouble understanding whatever was written.
But the problem was that it was pretty high.
For god's sake, I'm this tall and still can't get this freaking book.
Suddenly someone's handheld my waist.
I would've pushed that person away but I noticed a ring in his hand which I saw in Alex's hand in the morning.
So I let him hold me for a reason I also have no idea about, his other hand grabbed the book.
I quickly turned and saw Alex, he was so close to me.
Our lips were inches apart and his hands were on my waist which wasn't covered as I was wearing a crop top.
His hands were warm sending tingles through my skin.
My heart skipped a beat as his hands snaked around my waist and pulled me closer while I was just lost in his eyes.
Coming to my senses I placed on of my hands on his chest making a little more space between us.
His eyes looked at me ardently.
"T-the book'', I said this while trying my best to look anywhere but in his eyes
''I'll give it if I get your number,'' he said and I was confused.
''And why do you want it ?'' I asked looking at him making his eyes dance in amusement.
''As far as I know, people ask numbers to call or text,'' he said in a duh tone.
''Okay.'' I accepted making him grin at me.
He handed me my book and his hands left my waist.
I felt a tiny bit empty as I couldn't feel him near me.
I blocked my thoughts and then went to sit in the same corner.
He followed me and sat beside me.
''Where are the others ?" I asked while looking at him and found him already looking at me.
"They have been given detention since Justin pulled a prank on the teacher." he said chuckling.
''But why are the rest of the boys with him ?'' I asked as a smile was formed on my lips.
''They were laughing a little too much and the teacher got annoyed I guess,'' he replied making me laugh.
''Alright then we'll do the project tomorrow,'' I said and got up about to leave when he held my wrist speaking-
''Number ??''
''Oh right, here.'' I gave it to him and was ready to leave when he stopped me....again.
''Now what ?'' I asked impatiently.
''How about we all meet in the café today evening for completing at least as little work?'' He asked making me think about it.
Well, it's okay for me.
"Okay send me the location, now can I go?'' I said annoyed.
He nodded with an amused expression.
I got out of the library and entered the washroom when two girls came in.
From their voices, I recognized them as the girls who usually hung out with Sophia.
I didn't really plan to eavesdrop in their conversation but when they took my name I got curious.

BLAIR'S POV ( ANNIKA'S FRIEND )
I was in my English class but I really didn't have my attention to the words the teacher was speaking.
I was thinking about not going to the party as I remembered how drunk Annika got last time.
But I also wanted to go since Sean specially asked me to.
And now since I have already asked Annika I'll make sure to keep an eye on her.
I knew that she could be a problem but she's the only friend I trust here.
FLASHBACK-
Annika had been annoying the bartender for like 20 minutes now and by the looks of it he has had enough now.
He snatched away the glass she held and placed it away.
''You mister return it back'' she whined like a child whose Christmas gift has been taken.
I massaged my temple trying to calm myself.
Today's plan was very simple, get ready and enjoy the party.
It is a close friend's birthday and almost the whole school is invited.
The person whose birthday is today is a pretty close friend of Sophie and so I didn't wanted to come here.
I know for a fact that if she sees me she'll try to humiliate me in front of everyone.
Sophia is my step sister, but she hates me. Well, the feelings are mutual.
Anyone in the school has no idea that I am her sister.
And even our last names are different as she was embarrassed to call me her sister.
I never told Annika about it because I didn't know what will she say about it, I was kinda afraid of being judged.
Even if she is the kindest person out here still I haven't told her yet.
It isn't a big problem since I know she'll react pretty normally for that case.
I'll tell her soon I guess.
Anyways I didn't wanna be here alone.
And since Annika was invited to the party too both of us came together.
Somehow when I was distracted by few other friends she got drinks and the result is drunk Annika.
''Hey do you wanna enjoy with me for the night beautiful ?'' a guy approached her.
And I was ready to beat the shit out of him but Annika replied.
"No thank you," she said smiling sarcastically.
The guy left murmuring something about girls having a little too much attitude just cause they are pretty.
Now since it was already late I asked Annika if we should now leave.
And now we were moving towards the exit for getting out of this place.
But we were stopped by Sophie and her friends.
"Aren't you guys leaving a little too early?" a guy from his group said looking over at Annika with lustful eyes.
I moved Annika behind me and glared at that guy making him laugh.
While Annika just keeps blabbering something about how frustrating it is she couldn't get a cat.
''Where are you running off to? '' Sophia asked walking towards me.
''That's none of your business " I said lowly.
''Then do one thing- give us your friend and we will let you go'' the same guy spoke.
I cursed him under my breath and almost hit him only to realize that Annika wasn't behind me.
Oh Shit. Where did she go now?
