Sasuke shouldn't have done it; tasted her that is.
It was, after all, forbidden; for his kind to drink from an 'unmarked' donor. But, when he grasped her bloodied wrist in his hand and Sakura didn't pull away, he just... couldn't help himself.
He just had to know... if her taste... was as intoxicating as her scent.

There it was again.
That sweet, flowery scent that seemed to arouse all of his senses at once; sending his poor, undead heart into overdrive while his nostrils flared dangerously with his growing irritation. His grip on his beer tightened and he began to tune out his surroundings... attention focused fully on her; like always.
Why did he torture himself like this; daily?
Why did he insist on coming here constantly?
Why couldn't he learn to just stay away from—
"Pinky, over here."
"Coming!"
Her voice drifted the space between them, surrounding his ears with the melody of a thousand angels, and he watched (silent and angry) as she sidled up to the table across from his; a warm smile plastered on her face as she settled onto the lap of another man.
With her back now to his chest, the female's legs came to rest on either side of the other man's; her slim thighs spreading wide open while he shifted to accommodate her weight. With her finally settled and into position, he leaned forward; whispering something quietly into her and when she nodded, he moved to her neck. Sasuke clenched his fist again when the male's mouth opened wide to reveal his sharp, glistening canines before they sank into the young woman's throat harshly.
Sasuke could hear her gasp softly, a small breath of air releasing from her lungs, while her viridescent pools of emerald widening. Pain etched across her features, but apart from the one sound, she remained silent.
'So is the life of a donor...,' Sasuke thought. 'Trained to be silent and unseen, unless needed.'
He wondered briefly why she chose this; for it wasn't a life that he would have pegged for her (based on looks alone perhaps) and he secretly wished that he could ask her about it; but he knew that it was forbidden.
Forbidden to talk to an unmarked.
Forbidden to look at an unmarked.
Forbidden to drink from an unmarked.
His dark eyes shifted to the right as an unknown male moved forward; mouth practically salivating at the sight of the pink-haired woman and when he grasped her by the arm roughly before opening his mouth, Sasuke was seeing red.
Without warning... the glass in his hand shattered, and the human beside him shrieked before jumping back in surprise. He shook the shards away with an angry hiss and shoved the woman away before rising to his feet; then walking to the back where the bathrooms resided.
After spending a few extra moments, to make himself more presentable, he exited the stalls and walked back to the front of the bar, but to his surprise... she wasn't there any longer. Sasuke began to search for her... as inconspicuous as he possibly could... before using his heightened senses to track her down when just looking failed him.
He finally found her, outside and behind the bar; with a cigarette in one hand and a cell phone in the other. He moved to the side, completely undetected by her and waited (with his hands in his pockets and his back against the wall) for her to notice him.
'If she is the one to approach me first... then I can't get in trouble, right?'
So, he waited.
And waited.
And waited some more.
She had been talking to someone for a few minutes... before quickly hanging up her phone after checking the time... then after taking one last drag of her cigarette, she stuffed it out with the bottom of her heel.
He was afraid that she wouldn't, his chest tightening a little as she turned to head back inside... but then she suddenly stopped and her head tilted to the side as her eyes finally met his own... for the first time tonight. His heartbeat increased when her course changed and she began to slowly approach him before stopping... just a few inches away.
"Hey, you're Sasuke right? Sasuke Uchiha?"
Sasuke could smell the scent of alcohol and cigarette smoke coming off of her, but her flowery scent covered them up well; causing his nostrils to flare and his head to feel light. He swallowed slowly as she waited. "Hn."
She smiled at him then... and held her hand out, which he eagerly accepted. "I'm Sakura. Sakura Haruno. Mei has told me all about you."
'Mei... who is... oh yeah, my assigned human. I need to get rid of her, soon...'
He shrugged his shoulders instead of responding; his hand still holding firmly onto hers and it was only when he looked down that he noticed the dark, reddish color spotting her otherwise cream colored jacket. When she tried to pull away, he refused to allow it and lifted her hand up before pulling the fabric away from her wrist.
His eyes narrowed at the sight.
Not just the blood, but the harsh shredding of her flesh showed how uncaring the vampires were to his donor. He noticed her throat was the same way. 'No wonder it hurt her, the pricks,' he thought.
She nervously tucked strands of pink behind her ears while shifting on her feet. He could sense her nervous energy; hear her heart beating wildly behind her bosom and feel her strong pulse raced beneath his fingertips that were pressing firmly against the inside of her wrist. "Umm, I should really go back inside now. Before..."
"Why didn't you take care of this?" Sasuke indicated his point by pressing a little harder on her and watched as she winced slightly as fresh blood bubbles to the surface.
"I... he didn't... and... (sigh) I don't know." She looked down in shame, her hair falling to shield her eyes from his. His frown deepened. "I should have. I... I know the rules, but I just wanted to get away from—"
Her scent was becoming almost too much for him and unconscious he lifted her arm higher, his head bending so that his nose came flush with her wounds. The onyx haired vampire breathed in, deeply, and his black eyes shifted from their normal color... to mix with a deep red hue; he felt her pulse quicken and watched as her eyes widened, but she didn't pull away.
She wasn't scared; no, of that he was most certain. His nose twitched when he caught another, stronger scent entering his flaring nostrils. If he had to guess then he would say that Sakura Haruno was... aroused; eliciting a very powerful response from his male anatomy.
Sasuke rubbed the tip of his nose across her skin and watched (eyelids now hooded) as her wide, green eyes shifted to watch him. He could sense her slight unease and rubbed his thumb across her skin to try and soothe her. "Don't be afraid...," he whispered; brushing his lips across her open palm. "Do you want me to heal you?"
"H-how... I'm not your... you aren't..."
"I can," he confirmed, on a harsh breath. "But... only if you ask me to."
She swallowed, slowly; irises going from his to her arm to his again. She finally nodded her head, but he shook his. "I need you to say it, Sakura. You have to say the words; out loud."
"Please heal me, Sasuke. I... I give you permission."
"As you wish... so shall it be."
Sasuke hesitated, for only a second, before his tongue darted out to taste her blood. He shouldn't have done it; tasted her that is. It was, after all, forbidden; for his kind to drink from an 'unmarked' donor. But... when he had grasped her bloodied wrist in his hand and Sakura didn't pull away, he just... couldn't help himself. He just had to know if her taste was as... intoxicating... as her scent.
Sasuke doesn't know if she did it on purpose, but she leaned into him when he wrapped his lips around her and began to suckle. Like a newborn babe would drink from its mother, he took his nutrients from her... his tongue swirling around her mangled flesh as his saliva helped to disinfect and then close the opened wound.
When she closed her eyes and moaned softly... he forced himself to pull away; a string of saliva and blood linking them to one another. He didn't know what to say as she made a smooth apology... and watched silently as she rushed back inside; feeling slightly annoyed that she didn't even glance back at him.
Sasuke took several deep breaths and moved forward, following after her. He wasn't willing to let her go. Not after having a taste of her because that one taste, just wouldn't be enough. He had one thought in mind as he made his way to the manager's office; readying himself for a fight if it came down to it.
'I will do whatever it takes... to make Sakura Haruno mine.'
