"No!"

I narrowed my eyes, patience thinning, "I'm starting to not give a damn that you're the one that created my fiancé. I really just want you to listen to me for a damn minute!"

"No," he repeated, his moss eyes cutting me, "you aren't allowed to see her,"

"It's not like you give a damn about her!"

"She's my daughter,"

"And you're a horrible father,"

"You little shit!-"

"Jared!"

Before he could make a move for my throat, Lisa suddenly was there, her voice rising like I had never heard before. I stared at her in surprise as she walked into the corridor to the door frame where I was standing. She smiled at me, making her seem beautiful, "Jayy, honey. It's been so long." Her gaze went from me to her husband, "What are you two fussing about on the porch where the neighborhood can hear?"

She pushed him aside a bit before opening the door more, "come in. I'll make some tea,"

Jared muttered something censord under his breath before glaring at me and brushing past his wife and into the house as I just stared at my future mother-in-law in amazement, stepping into the heated home, "I've never seen you stand up to him like that,"

She beamed me a proud smile as she shut the door, leading me into the kitchen that smelt like apple cider, "Ever since the threat Dahvie put onto him, his mood has completely changed. It might not seem it, but he has gotten better. I believe that has made me feel less..."

"Cornered?" I finished for her, taking a seat at the island as she moved to the stove, taking out a kettle.

She smiled, "Yes, that."

It was silent for a few minutes, besides the small sound of the water running and the stove doing that annoying click click click thing before it turned on. I allowed my gaze go around the place, noticing it felt a lot warmer and looked more comforting than I expected it too since Jared was here.

"Dahvie grew up here?" I couldn't help but ask. It seemed pretty peachy.

"Yes. He actually used to sit exactly where you are right now for all of his meals," she poured the now boiling water into some cute little China cups, "how is the work life?"

I smiled, "its going very well. Dahvie and I are actually going on tour after the wedding,"

She looked at me dumbfounded, "what wedding?"

I halted. I forgot she didn't know. Well, we haven't really been on speaking terms because of Jared. Ah well, she'll find out eventually, "Well. I asked him almost a year ago to marry me,"

That seemed to surprise Lisa to the core as she was bringing the tea to me, almost spilling it everywhere. She looked at me exasperated, joy shining on her face, "really?!"

Before I could answer, the china was placed on the table before she ran over and crushed me in a hug so sudden I almost tumbled out of my seat, all of the oxygen leaving my lungs. I tried to hug her back, but my breath kind of needed to return first, "Lisa... Air,"

She quickly released me, but that didn't stop her from giving me a wolfish grin as she clutched my shoulders, jumping up and down, "My son is getting married!"

I couldn't help but smile at her as I rubbed my sore abdomen. Damn, she might be around her late forties, but she can tackle like a bull.  I let out a breathless laugh, "yes, yes. Now calm yourself before you get hurt. Or I get hurt,"

"Who's getting married?"

I probably looked like a startled cat that jumped into the air and stuck to the ceiling with it's claws in a cartoon. I glanced over my shoulder and grinned like fool, "Alecia!"

Her hair was longer, evened out and went right down her back with it parted down the middle. She has obviously grown in the last four to five years. Right now she was wearing a simple tank top with some adorable Hello Kitty pajamas. Her hazel brown eyes stared at me before they went wide, "JayyBear!"

I laughed as she- just like her mother, lunged herself at me, but I caught her little frame and hugged her from my seat, "oh my God, you've grown so much!"

She giggled and wrapped her small arms around my neck, squeezing, "I missed you!" She pulled back, looking hopeful, "Is my Knight with you?"

I smiled sadly at her, ruffling her hair, "no princess, he's not. He's at home right now with friends,"

She looked sad, but smiled anyways, "have you been keeping my promise?"

Promise? I furrowed my brows together in confusion. "What promise, hun?"

"The one where you said you said you would always take care of my knight!" She said, pouting that I had forgot.

My eyes widened as Lisa giggled. I glared at the mother as my face got hot before smiling and nodding, "of course sweet heart. I'm going to do that forever because me and him are going to be getting married soon,"

Her face lit up as she almost jumped from my lap, "My brother is getting a hubby!! Oooh! Can I be the flower girl?!"

"That's somewhat why I came over here," I said, directing my words at Lisa, "I was hoping to invite you all to the wedding. And that Alecia can partake the position of the flower girl."

"No. We'll be declining the offer,"

I turned my head, raising my brow as Jared stepped into the room with arms crossed and all, looking at me with dead eyes. I tilted my head, "I'm sorry, but I don't remember about me saying anything about you being invited,"

Jared glowered over me, "David is my son!"

I looked at him steadily, my voice sounding calmer than I felt, "Yes. But there's a difference between actually fathering your child and actually taking care of them."

That seemed like a physical blow to him as he staggered, staring at me distraught. He opened his mouth, but seemed like he thought better of it, so clamped it shut. He slowly stood up straight but never moved his eyes from me, "Alecia, go to your room,"

She pouted, "But daddy-"

"No, honey," I interrupted her, making her puppy eyes go to me. I smiled. She was so precious.  I cupped her cheek and looked into her brown orbs, "I promise that I will see you soon, okay? I'll visit again. And I'll make sure to bring your knight,"

She stared at me before nodding, though she still didn't look to happy about it, "Okay. But say you're still keeping the promise,"

I smiled and couldn't help myself as I swooped down and brushed my lips against her forehead as if she were my own child, "Yes, I promise, princess,"

She gave a big wavy smile before hugging me again, "Okay." She hopped off my lap to the floor, glancing at her father who was standing there watching us with an emotionless mask before to me. Then she walked out.

I followed her back as it disappeared behind the door before going back to Jared. He was still looking at me. I tried to read his eyes, but they were as dead as his facial features so I didn't know what he was thinking. "Well?" I asked, "what do you want to discuss?"

He finally broke his gaze and looked over at his wife, "I don't like the sound of you going to that wedding,"

She looked at him as if he just kicked a puppy, "Jared. You can't be serious. You know I've been dreaming of my children getting married for years. There's no way I'm not going. Same for Alecia. She misses her big brother more than anything,"

"But this is different," he stresses, "this isn't our son getting married to a woman. He's marrying a man,"

"Oh, come on," I couldn't help but say out loud. Both of their eyes went to me but I only looked at him with a are you really serious? type of face, "I'm sorry. But do you know the generation we live in? It's the twenty first century! The age where people all around the world are stressing and talking about the most idiotic things! Alex From Target, Is The Dress Blue and Black, or White and Gold? Twerking. Miley Cyrus. Justin Bieber. All of this stuff is going around, that no one even bothers to fuss about homosexual relationships anymore. But you're going to be the opposite and whine because two men are in love, supposedly how a woman and a man are supposed to be? Grow up, man!"

His mouth only set into a grim line before he blurted, "It's against my religion and beliefs and I won't allow it,"

"Here we go. Ya know, there's a difference between expressing your opinions, and also just being a first degree dick about them," I say. I close my eyes to calm myself, not even noticing until now how much my little speech worked me up.

I sighed before opening them again, seeing he wasn't looking at me, but at his wife, "It's your choice." he finally says.

Lisa sighs and shakes her head, "Jared. I already made up my mind. I am going to my sons wedding with my daughter,"

There was a silent stare-to-the-death round thing going on between them before he muttered something under his breath neither of us could hear. With a final glanced at me he pivoted on his feet and walked right back out of the kitchen.

"Why are you even with him?" My stupid mouth blurted the words before I could stop them. I winced as I saw an obvious unpleasant memory ghost her face, making my stomach churn in guilt. "Sorry." I said.

She managed a soft smile before changing topics, which I was glad for, "What is the wedding theme?"

"Actually. There isn't one," as she gave me a confused look, I started explaining, "me and Dahvie have decided to change things up. Tuxes, frilly skirts and church pants are so boring. So we made the theme to no theme. Anyone can dress however they want, we want it to be like all randomized. People don't have to wear dresses and fancy stuff. They can wear whatever. Even pajamas."

"Wow. That's... Unique," she gave a lopsided smile and I returned it.

"Yes. But of course, me and him are going to dress up just a bit more than anyone else. So are the bridesmaids, the best man, you and Alecia,"

Her smile widened and her eyes seemed to get stars in them. "When is it?" she asks, taking a sip of her tea.

"A few weeks," I said, just as I felt my phone vibrate in my butt pocket, making me jump. I smiled apologeticly before digging it out, turning the screen on.

Main Bitch

I sighed before pressing the answer button, pressing the electronic against my ear, "Yeah, Sarah?"

"Jayy!"

I had to hold the phone an arms length away from her yelling. I winced before putting it back, "Dude, stop screaming. What's up?"

"Zoe gave Dahvie had a ton of pixie sticks and now they're both on a serious sugar high- hey, put the cat down!" There were a few curses being thrown, along with laughter, "ugh. Anyway. Just come back. Like good lord. They really need some Jesus,"

I could just imagine Dahvie literally trying to run up the walls and made a face, "You should know better than to let them have that much sugar. When did the high start?"

"Uh. Like a few minutes ago. Just come on. I don't want to be the only one here when they crash,"

I sighed, "fine. I'll be there in a bit,"

As the line went dead after I heard another round of laughter and even something shattering, I shook my head. Note to self: sugar free icing for the wedding cake. Got it.

"Well, I'm sure that's my cue to go before he ends up hurting himself. Or someone else. Or a vase." I said, turning to Lisa's amused face.

She smiled before shaking her head, leaving her cup on the table as she got up, "got it. He was the same when he was little with sugar. It affects him more than escasty,"

I couldn't help but smile, raising my eyebrow, "now, dear mother-in-law, how do you know what escasty is like?"

"That's for me to know and for you to never find out," she shrugged.

I snickered as we both started over to the door, "yeah, mhmm. But anyway-"

My sentence was cut off due to her suddenly wrapping her arms around my torso as we reached the door. The words stuck in my throat as I felt the warm  gentle embrace she gave me. Having a serious déjà vu moment, I recalled that this was how my mother held me.

That's right. Lisa was my mom. By law, of course.

I stood there, unresponsive for a second before slowly returning the affection by circling my arms around her shoulders. I relaxed and bent down, putting my head in her neck.

"You got my blessing, hun,"

I sighed and closed my eyes, hoping to hear those words today. I nodded slowly stepped back, smiling at her, "Thanks, mom,"

She blinked fast, like she was subsiding tears before clearimg her throat, giving a watery smile, "Good. Now, go get my son before it's too late,"

I grinned at her as I stepped on the porch, doing a dorky salute, "Yes, ma'am!"

~~

The person in the full body length mirror, is a man. Once a slave, who was about to have his life get changed. And now he was glaring at the cloth around his neck he was trying to tie with trembling fingers.

"Fuck," I muttered, now wincing at the knot I created. That's not what was supposed to happen.

I sighed, staring at my reflection. The cream colored tux almost matched my porcelain skin tone, the soon-to-be blood red bowtie standing out the most.  I was glad I went shopping with Kilee, she has good style for men's clothing.

"Knock knockkk,"

I turned my head, giving my three best friends a strained smile before going back to fumbling with my tie. I could see all of them give each other looks before Sarah came over to me, swatting my hands away, "Let me do it, idiot, you're only making it worse,"

I glared at her but dropped my hands to my sides anyways, looking over at Kilee and Mari who were having a silent discussion. Ki looked good in her jet black tux (like I said, good style), while Mari wore a purple and black gown she apparently had since her quinceanera. They stopped to smile at me, and I returned it.

God, I have never been so nervous.

"Calm down," Kilee suddenly said, "It's just pre-marriage jitters. It'll go away as soon as you see your husband-to-be walking down the isle,"

I nodded, but my stomach was still doing summersaults. "Okay," I managed, just as Sarah finished with the tie- which she somehow made a bow.

"Five minutes, you guys," Kendal poked his head in the room before he went back out.

"Oh, man," I mummered, shifting on my feet. My friends just laughed at me before all exchanging a few kind vows. I was only listening to half of what they were saying though. The only words coursing through my head were this is it. You're going to be with him forever. Finally.

Finally..

"-hey, are you listening? Yo, earth to dickhead!"

My eyes blinked before I looked at Kilee who was now glaring at me. I raised my brow, "what crawled up your ass and died all of a sudden?'

She gave an eye roll before turning, going to the door, "it's starting,"

I loolked behind to see Lisa was now at the door with them, smiling at me, waiting. Since my mom died, I asked for her to be the one to walk me down the isle.

I could just feel my muscles tense up on their own. I took a deep breath in and exhailed it slowly before walking over, smiling at her. She looked lovely in her gray sleeveless dress. "You look stunning, mom,"

Her smile widened, "And you don't look so bad yourself. Now, let's go. Your husband is waiting,"

I automatically felt my lips lift upward at the words. My husband.

We took each other's hand and both walked out of the dressing room. It took a while to find a church that accepted same-sex marriage. The state of Pennsylvania did, but not the hallow minded Christians.

We reached the door to the ceremony room, and I watched as the bridesmaids- Sarah, Mari, Rory, and Kilee enter. Then the ring bearer- Chris. And then little Alecia, who threw me a giant grin before she practically skipped through the doors in her adorable pink and white fluttery dress.

Then it was my turn. I sucked in a breath, but released it when Lisa took her hand from mine and wrapped it around my left arm instead. I relaxed and smiled at her, happy she returned it with more excitment.

As soon as we stepped out, the acoustic version of our song Always and Forever started to play. It was a full house, most of the people related to Dahvie, and of course our friends, and my personal. Garrett's eyes twinkled at me as we started past him, and I gave a wink to him and the guy that was hanging on his arm. That was another story to tell.

My gaze finally went to the man who was standing in the front of the room, and I sucked in air. His hair was the aweing color of silver and black, all done up in his usual perfect style. He looked absolutely stark in his black tux. His eyes were so bright they looked green, and the smile he directed towards me had my cheeks burning while my stomach did 360 turns.

When I was in front of him, Lisa placed a kiss on my cheek before going over and sitting next to her daughter in the front row, starting to already tear up. Alecia smiled at me, looking a lot more mature than ever. I couldn't help but laugh softly as she patted her mothers shoulder as she cried.

I straightened up to face my fiancé, grinning like a dork as he took my hands in his. A perfect fit, I always think.

"Dear, friends, families, ad honored guests.." The ceremony has begun.

I couldn't exactly focus on what was being said though. I was only staring at Dahvie, just trying to get the best mental picture to remember forever. He was glancing at the officiant once in a while, but other than that, he was staring right back at me too.

"-the rings, please?"

Those words made my little concentration break and I turned to my best friend. Kendal grinned at me before handing over the silver ring that was specially engraved. We both decided to egrave them secretly. Just a pleasant surprise for one another.

"If you would please, place the ring on his finger? And you have your vows, yes?" the officient said.

Nodding, I took Dahvie's left hand and slid the ringer on his finger before holding it again, slowly meeting his gaze, "Everyone who has ever met me should know that I'm not good with words. Hell, I didn't even know how to read words until you taught me. That's what I love about you. From the beginning, I was just a lost person who had absolutely no purpose than to clean and please. But you were different. You wanted the absolute best for me, Dahvie. You helped me through so much, and no one will understand the love I really feel for you," I cleared my throat and gave a smirk, "besides. You forgive me for my flaws. Like when I tried to cook the chicken but it came out raw because I didn't turn the oven on properly?"

The room filled with laughter, and Dahvie smiled sweetly at me before giggling. I grinned, "so my point is proven. What could I do without you?"

The attention went to him when I was finished. He gave a sigh before taking the ring Kendal handed him. He looked at me and smiled as he took my hand, placing it on my finger, "I have a thing or two to say about my husband,"

"This ring was my grandmothers. My granddad gave it to her when they got married. I know I told you about them before, their oh-so sugar and spice love story,"

I started to recall the stories he told me of Janet Franks. Her and Dahvie were very close. Dahvie never got to meet his grandfather because he died of lung cancer years before. He told me that at first, Janet and him couldn't stand each other. But along the way, they eventually got together. His grandfather was Janet's first kiss, relationship, crush, love, and everything. She never got remarried after that, because she still loved him. Then she died at age seventy four of the same illness that took her husband. They really loved each other.

"They really did follow by the till death do we part thing. It might sound hallow, but I want us to be like that. You weren't my first kiss, crush and relationship but you were the first man I had all of those with. I want to be with you forever, even in your cooking skills aren't as proficient than others. I still feel like this is a wonderful dream, and I have yet to wake up. It's too good to be true. Te amo y sólo usted , Jeremy."

I smiled at the words I love you being said in Spanish. Exactly how he told me the first time.

"Jeremy Brian Griffis," the officiant suddenly said, "do you take Dahvie Vanity, to be your lifelong partner, to stick by his side through sickness and death till' you part?"

I met Dahvie gaze, unwavering as I spoke clearly. "I do."

"Dahvie Vanity, do you take-"

"Oh yeah, I do. You don't even have to go further than that."

The officiant smiled and I giggled along with the crowd, "Okay. Then by the power invested in me and state of Pennsylvania, I legally pronounce you husband to husband. You may now kiss the groom,"

Dahvie grinned and pulled me forward with my hands, wrapping his arms around my waist. I circled mine around his shoulders just as our lips connected. I heard our friends and families cheering, but I didn't pay attention.

He pulled away and rested his forehead on mine, looking in my eyes as he was gave me a wolfish smile. I grinned like a doofus back, "I love you, Husband,"

He laughed, surprising me as he picked me up and twirled me around, making me cling on him so I didn't go flying, "I love you too, mi marido,"

I laughed as he set me on my feet. We smiled at each other again before looking in the crowd. Alecia was grinning at us while her mom was giving a watery smile. Ki, Mari, and Sarah were looking proud while Kendal and Chris were smiling. My eyes found Garrett and saw he was grinning with with boyfriend jumping beside him.

Dahvie took my hand again and we grinned at each other before we started down the isle, friends and family throwing different colored rose petals in our direction. Some were wearing shirts with a tux vest printed on, others were wearing nightgowns or just jeans and polo shirts. Either way, I loved the random individuality that came with it.

"Looks like you're stuck with me forever now," he said as we got in the small car with the driver in the front, not even paying attention to us.

I laughed at the glint in his eye, "Yes, dear, I am aware,"

"Good," he pressed his lips to mine in a short, sweet kiss, "and thank you for getting my family to come,"

I smiled, shrugging, "Yeah, well. It wouldn't be very formal to not get your mothers blessings beforehand,"

"When did you even visit her?"

"When you were high off candy like it was escasty,"

His mouth dropped to from a perfect 'o' shape, "Yeah, wasn't that when Zoe almost broke her neck when she tripped on the small trampoline?"

"Wait, she what?" I facepalmed before shaking my head, "Actually, I don't want to know."

He grinned before sighing, looking down at his ring, "can I see the engravement?"

I looked at his finger before mine, totally forgetting about the little surprise we both put in them. "Oh, yeah. Can I?"

"Of course," he said as he started to spin the ring off his finger and I did the same.

I flipped the ring upwards so I could see the words in a pretty font through the light. It read: There's a first time for everything. Like falling in love. I smiled when I saw it, speaking my thoughts out loud, "It's perfect,"

"Can I say you stole the words from my mouth?" he spoke breathlessly as he stared at the ring, his eyes shining, looking at me as he repeated the engravement, "You were my first, and now you're going to be my last."

I gave a sheepish smile and shrugged, "you were my first kiss, crush, boyfriend, and the first person I made love too," I exaggerated the last part, both of us knowing that my virginity was actually lost to Daniel, but it meant absolutely nothing. I took his hands in mine after we put the rings back on where they belonged, "and you're going to be my last for all of those and more,"

He grinned before kissing me, pulling back to laugh, "time for the reception!"

Dahvie's P.O.V

-

After many tears from my mother, hugs from my friends, dances, cake stuffing, and fond memories being created, me and Jayy finally managed to leave the reception hall at eleven, and got to our honeymoon suite outside of town and in the big city at midnight.

I pressed a gentle kiss on his neck, signing into the flesh. We were tired out, both sitting on our queen sized bed in the georgous room we rented for the next week. I couldn't contain this serious feeling. I felt so overjoyed. My stomach was doing weird things which is new; I haven't had butterflies in years. But I guess that's normal when you finally are starting a new life with someone you love.

"You're mine forever, Jayy Torres," I muttered in his skin, kissing it again. I smiled as he stretched his neck to give me better access, which I quickly obligued.

He chuckled, "Yes, it seems that way. I'm surprised you've stayed with me for five years. Remember that one time I almost cooked Kiddy?"

I felt myself bristle with laughter for a second before sobering, pulling back to smile at him, "how can I forget? The yowl he did when you poured the gravy on him is ever lasting,"

"Not my fault he fell asleep in the pan," he muttered.

I only laughed again before going back to his neck. I heard him sigh in content as he laced his fingers in my hair, sagging in my arms as he relaxed. I kissed from his neck to his shoulder, then from there all the way across his chest to his other side, doing the same.

As I reached the middle of his throat for the second time, he spoke, "I love you, my husband,"

I moaned at the sound of the amazing words. I pulled back from his throat and waited for him to look at me so we were face to face before I captured his lips for a long thorough kiss. He let out a small sound as he parted his lips, giving me full advantage to work my tongue into his mouth and play with his.

We have done this countless times before, but it always feels like the first every time. When his teeth playfully tugged at my tongue, I gasped and felt like a virgin again as he took my breath away. The way he took over the kiss and ravished my mouth, I could only groan as I felt my dress pants get tighter. Damn, this man drives me crazy.

I pulled back to place kisses on his neck again, but more sloppy and uncoordinated. I trailed them all the way up from his shoulder to his ear, licking the shell of it, making him shiver.

I pushed him down on the bed, not ceasing my abuse on his skin, "Nngh, Dahvie," he breathed out, his back arching.

I suddenly felt an urgency like never before, quickly getting rid of his white tux vest and starting to unbutton his shirt underneath. He helped, making the effort cease as it was quickly thrown somewhere on the floor where we'll find it in the morning. I drank the sight of him in, pouncing on him again, making him giggle beneath me, "You're like a rabbit,"

Despite the arousal pushing painfully against my jeans, I couldn't help but laugh before ducking my head and kissing him again, "I'm late, I'm late! Oh, my ears and whiskers, I'm late!"

He pulled back from my lips as he busted out laughing from my Alice In Wonderland referance. He grinne at me, "Hell yeah you're late,"

"And what exactly am I late for?"

"To fuck me mercilessly into the mattress,"

I couldn't help the wicked grin that broke out onto my face, "what about taking it slow?"

He looked at me innocently, "But you said it yourself. You're late. Now get moving before take charge,"

"Aye, aye, sir," I said before connecting our mouth's again.

"I can't hear you," he said breathlessly as he pulled back.

Confused, I repeated myself, "Ay, ay, sir?"

He grinned dorkishly, "OOOOOOOOOHH,"

"You're so lucky or else I would be slapping you," I said, but smiled anyways.

He only laughed once more before pulling me back onto him.

Yep. I am in love this idiot.
