"Now, those of you who rebel against our family.., I'm gonna fight you!"
"PFFTTT- HAHAHH HIS VOICE! IT'S SO HIGH!" Luffy wheezed out, leaning heavily on me.
"RIGHT?! IT'S HIGHER THAN CHOPPER'S!" I laughed with him, unable to hold us both up and consequently falling on the floor with him. I couldn't hold it in even in the face of danger.
Some of Doffy's henchmen who were nearby instantly shushed us, but we were too far gone already. "IT TOTALLY DOESN'T FIT! WHAT A FUNNY VOICE!" my captain went on, holding his stomach.
I wiped away from tears while he continued to laugh loudly. "Ok, I think I'm over-"
"STRAW HAT!" Pica screamed in anger.
I nearly choked as I busted out laughing again, which got Luffy laughing harder. Luffy was kicking his feet with his back on the floor, completely swept away in his amusement, while I was on all fours, trying not to die from lack of oxygen. "P-please stop laughing! Pica-sama is sensitive about his high pitched voice!" a henchman pleaded. "If he runs wild with that massive body-!" It was too late, our fun had effectively pissed Pica off, and the ground began to rumble as the huge stone man lifted one of his hands for an attack.
"You idiots! You made Pica-sama mad!" another henchman shrieked in horror.
"How can you guys not laugh at it?" Luffy asked, finally done. I was too, now leaning against his back as I caught my breath. Zoro was just shaking his head at us. \
"We can't! We don't wanna die yet!"
Pica's fist was brought up into the air, ready to punch everyone in a mile or so range of our group. Naturally, everyone, including his allies, ran like hell. Luffy picked up Law and we were on the run as well.
"You two! You have to stop messing with your enemies-" Zoro started.
"I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY!" Pica screamed.
"PFT-" he covered his mouth.
"See? Even you laughed at it!" Luffy chirped.
"Oh god, doom is upon us," I panicked, running faster as the sound of Pica's fist started getting closer. When I took a peak behind me I could see that it was pretty damn close.
"You're part of the reason this happened," Law grumbled from the horizontal position that Luffy was holding him at. If I wasn't running, I'd laugh at that, too. I ran past them so I was a bit ahead of Zoro, not wanting to get smushed.
I looked behind me just in time to see that Law's chains got caught on a rock, pulling Luffy back and making the two of them fall. Zoro and I stopped upon realizing this, but just as we did, Pica's fist finally made impact with the ground.
"LUFFY!" the two of us yelled while being swept away by the wind that was kicked up by the punch.
I went flying in another direction from Zoro, so I have no idea where he went. I prepared to activate my devil fruit for a safe landing, but instead I was caught by someone. "Oh, thanks," I hummed, moving to get off of him.
"Of course. Wait, aren't you-" the curly haired blond questioned.
"Yea, definitely," I mumbled absentmindedly while looking around for Luffy and Zoro. I took off before he could say anything back. After jumping over a couple of broken houses and shops, I saw Zoro and Luffy with Law. "Hey!" I called out.
"We were just about to look for you!" Luffy chimed, watching me jump down towards them.
"That's nice, but we're all heading the same direction so it would have been fine to leave without me," I responded as I moved to stand beside him.
"Speaking of which, I think we got even father away from the Royal Palace," Law butted in from his position on the ground.
Zoro sighed and took a seat on some nearby rubble, saying, "Damn that stone assimilation human. He ended up being even bigger than Oars."
"Yea, the shockwaves are insane," I added, having been a victim of said shockwave. Zoro opened his mouth to respond but stopped and moved a hand over the hilts of his swords instead.
"Straw Hat." All of us turned to see a blond guy with some fancy clothes and a hat. Oh wait, that's the same one that caught me. Luffy called him 'Cabbage' for whatever reason, but the blond ignore him and looked at Zoro and I, "Silver Goddess (y/n). You're pirate Hunter Zoro, aren't you?" His eyes directed towards Law next, and they narrowed. "And Trafalgar... LAW!" He swung his sword down on the cuffed man out of nowhere, but Luffy was quick to pull him out of the way. "Give me back... MY GLORY! You scoundrel of the worst generation!" he yelled.
"What are you doing?! He's with me now!" Luffy shouted, still holding the back of Law's coat.
"NO, I'M NOT!"
Luffy paid him no mind and brought his fists up to the curly haired blond, "What?! You still hold a grudge against me?!"
Cabbage stood back in a relaxed stance and held up a hand, "No, I'm not gonna go after you Straw Hats anymore. Because one of your crew, God Usopp, saved my life! I won't ever forget the brave image of him when he saved hundreds, sacrificing his life! ...Although I didn't see it."
My captain relaxed and rubbed the back of his head, chuckling a bit, "Well, I'm happy when somebody says nice things about my friends~!"
Cabbaged walked towards Law, who was sitting behind Luffy, reaching into his white overcoat to grab out Law's fluffy hat. "Ah, I almost forgot. Trafalgar, this is your hat, isn't it? I found it in front of the colosseum. Let me put it on you..." he grinned sadistically with his sword behind his back, "... come closer, now!"
"I don't trust you!" Law yelled back.
The blond sighed and threw the hat at him, "Well, who cares. I'm busy now anyway." He slid towards Luffy and smiled, "Do you wanna know why I'm busy?"
"No."
"Alright! I'll tell you if you insist~!" Cabbage gushed, striking a dramatic pose before continuing, "I've decided to kill Doflamingo to return you guys the favor! Leave the rest to me and hide somewhere-"
"No thanks! I'm gonna do it!" Luffy interrupted. "I have to return Rebecca the favor for buying me lunch!"
"Your reason to fight was food?!" Law shouted, turning to him in shock after I helped him put his hat on.
"It always is," I told him, patting his shoulder. He dropped his head in disappointment. Probably reflecting on his mistakes.
Cabbage accused Luffy of wanting to steal the attention of the papers, and then started day dreaming about how much coverage he would get if he defeated one of the worst Shichibukais. While he was off in his own world, we ran away from him. What a weirdo.
"Luffy, you know that strange guy we just met?" Zoro questioned.
"Oh, you mean Cabbage?" he asked.
"Cabbage? Are you kidding? Is that a name?" Zoro thought aloud.
"That's rude, what if he was named by the cabbage man from Avatar," I scolded, shaking my head slightly.
"That doesn't stop me from wondering if that's even a name," he shot back. "What the hell is Avatar?"
"I met him at the colosseum! There were a bunch of strange people besides him!" Luffy chirped.
"The avatar-?"
"THERE THEY ARE! Two 200 millions and two 300 millions!" We all stopped in our tracks as a bunch of freed pirated swarmed the street we were running down. "Don't let them get away!" We ran towards them when they charged us, fighting them off pretty easily. Even more showed up when we were almost done with the group.
"If we fight them all, it'll take forever," Zoro said. "Let's go."
The two of us nodded back at him and we took off. Or we would have if an old guy with a really pointy head didn't call out for us. He came running out of some dust in a nearby alley with two other guys in front of him. "Wait, Garp's grandson!" the old guy called out. I looked at Luffy, who did not seem happy to see them. Luffy ran away immediately, telling Zoro and I to follow, which we did. The pirates behind us ended up chasing us, along with Pointy Head. We stopped when the old man head butted all the pirates chasing us, ending up in front of us after his attack. "I said wait, Garp's grandson!" he repeated while standing up from the dust cloud he created. At least he took out all those troublesome pirates.
All three of us stood on guard, ready to fight, but the old man's beard and face softened, so my stance did as well. "Don't get me wrong, Garp's grandson. I don't hold a grudge against your family anymore," he said.
"What? Really?" Luffy asked.
I stared at the old man and blurted, "Your head is really pointy."
He looked like he'd nearly cry as he said, "Thank you." He snapped back into reality when one of the younger guys surrounding him started talking.
"We originally came to this country to take down Doflamingo's business. We don't care about prizes! We don't work for such a small amount of money!" the guy with the striped yellow and blue pants said. All I got from that was the fact that they thing 300 million isn't enough money.
The huge old man clasped Luffy in his hands, which were bigger than Luffy by the way, and said, "I was saved not just by you, but one of your crew, God Usopp. Therefore, I have made up my mind to return you and God Usopp the favor by taking down Doflamingo."
"Eh?! Don't do it! I'm gonna kick Doflamingo's ass!"
"What did you say?" oldie asked, irked now.
"I said 'Don't do it'! Because I'm gonna do it!"
"What?! Are you going to disregard my kindness?!"
Their little quarrel was interrupted by a giant showing up, who said, "There you are! Straw Hat Luffy! Let's just forget what happened in the match! For my pride as a warrior of Elbaf, I will kill Doflamingo and return you guys the favor!"
"Eh?! Now it's you-!"
"Cut it out!" Another foreign voice interrupted Luffy, and out came a guy with a crown and boxing gloves from another alleyway. "We of the Prodence Kingdom have long been in debt to King Riku! I will bring Doflamingo down!"
Two more people showed up and started claiming that they have to take down Doflamingo because something about a heavenly light. Another huge guy and a boxing dude showed up, saying they'd be the one to take down Doffy. Then another guy. And another.
"Where are all these idiots coming from?" Zoro grunted. Cabbage showed up right after he said that, as if to really punch in the idiot aspect of that question. Zoro tried to tell them to stop, but they claimed that they had to be the ones to take out Doffy. "What is wrong with these guys... Okay how about this?! We will take down Doflamingo! You guys will back us up!"
"NO WAY! I will take down Doflamingo!" the crowd declined together. They all looked at each other and started arguing upon realizing that they all wanted to do the same thing.
Luffy sighed and yelled, "All of you! That's enough! I said I will kick Doflamingo's ass!"
The guy with the blue and yellow pants stepped forward and grabbed Luffy by his sunflower button up shirt, "What'd you say?! We said we'll return the favor- don't you get it?! Why don't you shut up or I will kill you, you dimwitted savior!"
I ripped his hand away from Luffy and grabbed his frilly collar in return, "You shut up before I kill you! We're gonna take care of it! Don't grab Luffy like that, fool!"
A ginger grabbed my arm next and said, "Let go of my brother! We're repaying your crew for what you've done for us!"
"We don't want it!" I yelled, letting go of the other guy.
This got another argument brewing. Thankfully, a bunch of pirates who were on the hunt for the money on our heads showed up, successfully getting the group of favor repayers off of our backs. They started beating up the bounty hunters, so Zoro and Luffy decided to head out. They pulled me out of the group and we faced down the street, seeing a bandaged bull come out. (I love Moocy. He's very cute.)
"OH HAHA! Moocy!" Luffy called out to it, smiling widely. "I got an idea!"
The three (technically four) of us got on the animal, and we took off. It was going well until all of the people who wanted to beat up Doffy started running after us. We eventually reentered Pica's view, and he attacked us upon everyone laughing at his voice. Surprisingly, the Pointy Head and King Boxer were able to destroy the stone man's arm before it could hit us.
"Oh wow, these guys might actually be useful," I hummed, looking at the group of guys we managed to gather. I looked down at the animal we were on and petted Moocy's back with a smile, "Of course, you're the best of them all, Moocy."
He mooed in response and started going faster. That wasn't really my intention, but I appreciate it nonetheless. All of Doffy's men that were trying to shoot at us were being taken out by the "Favor Group" as I will call them. There were two still holding onto the bull we were on, but other than that, everyone else was either fighting or trying to keep up with Moocy. Cabbage jumped onto the bull right in front of where I was sitting, almost stepping on me, and then started talking about destiny and taking down Doffy.
"Get out of here!" I yelled while he was in the middle of day dreaming, grabbing him by his ankle and throwing him off.
"That guy is annoying," Zoro growled from behind me, Luffy nodding in agreement. That guy never stops popping up out of nowhere.
Everyone caught up to us again, and thus more arguing ensued, which included Luffy. Because of all the ruckus, Pica spotted us again, and gave three more punches. Rather than break the other arm, everyone ran away. Everyone but those of us on Moocy, who started running up the stone man's arm after the third punch. The two randoms who joined us on Moocy introduced themselves as Jeet and Abdullah, now sitting on Moocy's back between Zoro and I, and they were also the first ones to notice that Pica spotted us on his arm. His missing arm regenerated and made a move to punch us, but Luffy jumped up and destroyed the stone giant's head in one hit.
"You think Pica is dead?" I hummed towards Zoro.
He looked past the two Moocy trespasser and shook his head, quickly alerting Luffy of the fact that we were pretty much on a husk right now. Soon after, Pica showed up in what seemed to be his actual human form a bit ahead of us, readying a huge sword attack. I had to hold onto Moocy as Luffy grabbed the bull and jumped over Pica. Zoro ended up staying behind to fight. He seemed pretty pumped about it, so I wasn't too upset about leaving him there. I just hope he doesn't get lost later.

"Straw Hat-ya. Goddess-ya." We both turn to look at Law. who was sitting behind me. "I know the only way to survive now is to kill him. I've made up my mind, too. I made a plan to take down Doflamingo indirectly, but, to be honest, I... want to hurt him directly too. I was beaten earlier, but I won't be this time.... 13 years ago, there was a person I adored, and Doflamingo killed him. His name is Corazon. The former top executive of the Doflamingo Family. He saved my life and he was... Doflamingo's biological younger brother."
My eyes widened and so did Luffy's. We were currently sliding down the back of Pica's headless stone giant, with Moocy dodging and weaving between buildings, even jumping over them, so this was probably the most unexpected time for Law to say any of this. I didn't expect to ever know anything about him, but now I even know a little about Doffy. Who kills their own brother? Now that I think about it, that probably pisses Luffy off more than I can even understand. Just two years ago he lost his own brother, biological or not, while trying to save him.
Before Law could go any deeper into his story, and before I could make a coherent reply, we made it to "level one" of the new palace fortress. We had to fight off a bunch of henchmen, and saw that the group on our side earlier had reached the same level. I was holding Law now since there was a pretty good chance he'd fall off with all of the jumping Moocy was doing.
"Hey, Straw Hat-ya," Luffy looked back upon Law calling his name, "When do you think I can get these cuffs off? With these sea prism stone shackles, I'm just going there to get killed by Doflamingo."
"Oh yea, you've pretty much done nothing this whole time cuz of them, huh," I realized, tapping my chin with my free hand.
"Hmm... well, it'll work itself out~!" Luffy chirped, smiling. "Let's just go!"
"How can you be so sure?! Go back to the plateau where we were before, then!" Law shouted.
"Why?"
"I'll look for the key! The fight's gonna be win or die!" he barked in frustration.
I laughed and patted his chest, getting him to turn his attention to me. "Law, just trust us. You'll get the shackles off in time. Plus, the plateau is super far away, we're not going back there," I refused.
"You just don't want to go back," he growled.
"Well, yea, that's what I said," I agreed with a nod. His eyebrow twitched as Luffy let out a laugh.
"Ah, wait, why're you holding him, (y/n)?" Luffy questioned, finally realizing that I had Law splayed across my lap with an arm holding his torso down so he didn't slide or even fly off of Moocy. It definitely wasn't the most romantic hold.
"Oh, I'm just making sure he doesn't fall," I said, giving Law another pat on the chest.
Luffy tapped his chin and looked between us, "Hmmmm...."
"You two..." Law mumbled in irritation.
I could only laugh more, "Sorry Law, but being dark and brooding really isn't our style. If this really is life or death, might as well have fun on the way."
"Yea!" Luffy cheered with his fist up, along with the other two guys that were tagging along for the ride. He looked at them and glared, remembering they were here, "You two! Get off already!"
Another guy showed up in the distance, interrupting Luffy's 10th fight with these guys on Moocy. The new person apparently wanted to help us, and proceeded to show us a tunnel that he said would go to the flower field, which was where an entrance to the palace was. We just agreed to go, and down the tunnel we went. Not before the two freeloaders got knocked off by the tunnel entrance though. Their heads hit the frame of it and they fell, knocking out.
"They fell..." Law muttered, his head turned to look at their bodies on the floor. All I could do was try not to laugh at them. That was probably the lamest KO I've seen all day.
"Alright! Don't worry and keep going, Moocy!" Luffy urged, his fist forward to emphasize his words. He must be happy to have those guys finally gone. "Straight to the flower field!"
Law's den den mushi started ringing, so I grabbed it and answered it upon his order to do so. Luffy decided to talk in my place, stating who he was and that he was going to be pirate king, as he always does. I was holding the snail closer to him so it would be easier to hear. A familiar voice rang through, "Luffy, it's me."
"Robin!" Luffy and I both said. My smile was wide. It feels like its been ages since I saw her. (Yea, it's been hella episodes but only one day...)
"We're at the plateau you were at before," she informed. "Where are you?"
"We're at the first level of the new plateau and heading to a place called the flower field!" my captain answered.
"Viola found the key to Torao's cuffs!" Robin said.
"Oh, yea?!" Luffy chirped.
"Nico-ya, get it to me as soon as possible! What do you need me to do?!" Law butted in.
A new voice started talking, "Hello, this is Leo of the Tonttata tribe! We're gonna escort Rebecca-sama, Rooster Big Human, and Robiland there... at a super high speed!"
"Let's meet up at the flower field on the fourth level," Robin followed up.
"What? How will you guys catch up to us?" Luffy asked.
"Yea, not to mention we're supposed to be taking a short cut there right now, it'll be difficult," I continued.
"We'll explain later! See you at the flower field!" Leo said.
Violent sobbing came into the other den den mushi's speaker range and someone started crying out, "THAT WAS (Y-(Y-(Y-(Y-(Y-(Y/N)-SENPAAAIII WASN'T I-" clank.
I blinked, looking at Luffy. "Was that the Rooster man Leo was talking about?" I questioned, having not recognized that voice. And I don't think I've ever had anyone call me senpai before. Especially not someone I don't know.
Luffy nodded, "Oh! Crest Head! I met him at the colosseum! He was a big help even though he's weird."
"Everyone from that colosseum must be mentally deranged then. Not one person that you've 'met from the colosseum' has been normal. Maybe the building is contagious," I muttered with a shake of my head. I moved on and looked at Law with a grin, "But look, the key situation is solved!"
"See? I told you it'd be alright!" Luffy added.
"It's just a coincidence!" he yelled back. His angry face never ceases to make me crack up. We're driving him insane.

HAHHAHAHAHA this update was late because I was writing that Modern AU i was talking about earlier and got distracted. Idk if imma even post it but I like writing it. ANYWAY. Did u guys know that this book could have had a completely different (y/n) and story and devil fruit? I got 10 chapters into my OG idea before I was like hmm.. Naw, and deleted it all and did another one. Surprise I deleted another 5 chapters. And then this book was created.
