Blair tried to shake off her thoughts of Will, so she ran down the alley her mom and Lilith in front.

But then she stopped, she just couldn't, she killed a person who deserved better, she also killed Al, people were dropping like flies because of her.

She stared at the ground as more thoughts clouded her head up, both the women in front of her turning around.

She looked up at them slowly through her eyelashes, Lilith's eyes grew sad with sympathy her moms doing the same.

"I...I killed him, I killed Will. I killed...I killed Al. This. It's my fault," she dropped her eyes back to the floor in shame.

She wanted to cry oh how bad she wanted to cry, but she was already in shame, so she just mentally abused herself more and more.

Lilith wrapped her arms around Blair's neck, tucking her chin into her neck.

Her mom made eye contact with Blair, smiling lightly giving her a nod of reassurance, the nod that says 'I'm proud of you, your doing amazing.'

Lilith and Blair stayed like that for a while until Lilith broke apart looking Blair in the eyes.

"C'mon let's go get Adrain and save whatever is left of dauntless," she says smiling.

"Yeah," Blair sighs sadly.

They peaked out of the alley, looking at the empty street, they were planning to reach the alley opposite.

"Cover me," Blair's mom told the two girls, to this they both shook their heads.

"No we'll go, stay here," Blair told her.

"Okay," her mom nodded.

Blair and Lilith took off out into the alley, their guns scanning the area, no one.

That was until a low grumble and the sound of tyres against the gravelled floor made their hearts race of fear.

A truck turned the corner, as they went to run, they had been spotted so they had no choice but to stay and defend themselves.

They cocked their guns shooting down two guards that jumped off the truck.

They were swarmed, the truck was full of guards.

Lilith's gun got shot down, Blair standing in front of her.

She shot another two more down, her gun being shot out of her hands as well.

"Move! Move! Move!" Her mother shouted, pushing the two girls ahead of her as she shot down the others, she pushed the girls into the alley as she shot the last one down.

She fell next to them, biting her lip slightly.

Blair and Lilith crawled next to her.

She groaned, sitting up as they approached.

"You okay?" Blair asked worried.

"Yeah. Good yeah," she replied smiling but on the inside she was dying.

The noise of a distant gunshot caught Blair's attention, she grabbed the gun from off the floor and quickly shot down the guards that had hid.

She smiled lightly proud of herself for doing that so well, she remembered months ago where Four was screaming down her ear about how she was holding it.

She turned back around to see her mom almost laying down, her head resting on a step.

"Mom?" She asked confused, "what is it...?"

She looked to Lilith for an answer who had tears submerged in her eyes, her eyes laying on something.

Blair followed the trail of Lilith's eyes looking down to see her mom covering the side of her body, her ribs.

Her mom moved her hand away to reveal blood, a dark crimson colour stained through the grey dress that she had on.

Confusion spread throughout her body, how?

She must've been hit when she covered them, when she shoved them to the floor of the other alley.

She could tell by the weak look on her moms face that she was dying, though she didn't want to admit it, so she denied it.

She had to help.

"Hey...it's-" Blair spoke breathlessly, her breath had hitched in her throat.

"Mom! Mom! Mom!" She watched as her mom lay her head further back onto the step.

She looked at her face to see that her eyes had allowed themselves to shut, her mouth slightly apart.

When she saw no sign of movement from her mom she began to panic, tears blurring her vision.

"Mom?" She tried shaking her gently but no response.

"Mom! No please," she chocked out sobbing hard.

Blair placed her hand over her moms wound trying to scoop up all the blood, trying to save her.

She applied pressure on the wound, but nothing, still.

She removed her hand watching as her right hand was now covered in her Mom's blood.

"Mom," she cried harder allowing her tears to fall from her face violently.

She placed her hand to her moms face, her tears falling faster, her pre-mended heart shattering all over again.

It was a mourning all over again, the mourning that sent her into misery and darkness.

It would only do the same again.

"Mom! Mom please wake up," she cried into her moms chest.

She felt sick to her stomach, her mom was dead, her dad was dead, Will was dead, Al was dead. Who next?

She screamed out in pain, shaking heavily.

Lilith came closer to Blair crying with her.

Blair picked her mom's stone cold body up of the floor, wrapping her arms around her slim frame, resting her head on her moms hair.

She stroked her mom's black hair out of her face, studying it.

Her lips were washed over with a light ash white tone, her skin also sharing the same tone.

Her face was relaxed.

Gunshots fired off of the walls, more guards.

"Stop! Stop!" She shouted in anger as more tears allowed themselves to pour out of her eyes.

Lilith sniffles into Blair's shoulder.

She placed her mom down, kissing her cheek.

"I love you mom, I always have," she let out another pain filled scream, before getting up and picking up the gun.

Lilith following her.

"Oh my god!" She cried stumbling a few times, trying to wrap her head around what had just occurred.

Lilith and Blair both took off into a light jog, tears both continuing to fall down each other's faces.

Lilith was crying because even though she had just met Blair's mom, she was lovely, kind, welcoming her with big arms.

And the fact that she had to see Blair in this state only broke her heart even more. The pain behind every sob she took, every breath she took.

She knew from the moment she met Blair that she was damaged on the inside, but then she saw her get mended by Four, just to be defeated all over again, but this time worse.

And she had no idea as to how Blair was going to take this, she had never witnessed it and now she was about to.

But Lilith promised herself that she would always be there for Blair no matter what, to reassure her, to help her, to guide her, to just be there for her.

They made it to a door, they were on their way to meet Adrian and others.

Once they were in this room, Blair shut the door, her back against it.

She hadn't had time to think, and now that she had time, everything came rushing back to her like a tsunami, all at once.

She broke down on the spot, gripping the door handle before sliding down it.

She sat on her bum, balling her eyes out.

She still couldn't believe it, Will was dead, Four was either dead or missing, her mom had died due to her not listening.

Everyone who had seemed to have gotten injured or had died was because of her she was like some sort of deadly disease that caused everyone around her to die.

She feared herself, she didn't know what was wrong with her.

They were there for a while for about half an hour or even an hour, it was to the point that Blair's face had just stopped showing emotion, she was empty inside now.

Blair and Lilith had walked through a warehouse.

It was empty, all that was in there was boxes and lights that had illuminated over them, casting their shadows onto the floor below them.

They walked to the back end of the warehouse, and was about to give up searching, until they heard a faint noise.

Their heads turned to see a few heads that had also turned their way.

It was them.

It was Adrian and the group he had led down.

Adrian stood up, shielding his eyes from the lights.

"Lilith? Blair?" He asked an uncertainty to his voice.

"Yes!" Lilith cried out.

She broke out into a sprint running towards the person she loved, standing on her tip toes and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Are you okay?" He asked panicked.

"Yeah, are you? How's the others," she asked quickly.

"We're fine. We managed to shelter here," he said before looking around.

After a minute or so, they broke off sniffling.

"Where's Blair's mom?" Adrian asked.

At this point, Blair had walked closer, listening in as to what they were saying.

"She's dead," and there it was, that coldness to her voice, the warmth of it had disappeared completely, she was back to her old self.

Whether she was worse or not was a question everyone wanted answered, they just hoped that the answer was that she wasn't any worse.

They needed Four to help her.

Blair needed Four.

Adrian looked over at Lilith who sighed sadly, Adrian got the message, sympathy spreading throughout his body.

This girl deserved better and everyone knew that.

It was as if every time she felt as though she was getting better things just blew straight back up in her face, and it was the most tiring feeling in the world for her.

The talking of the pair must of caught attention to other hiders, as they came out from each angle possible.

Blair watched as everyone re united hugging, she wanted a hug, but she also wanted to be left alone.
