Lilliana sat on the grass, letting the rays of light shine on her, the warmth seeping in her bones making her feel less sick. The slight bump of her stomach only prominent when she felt it, and in the very loose clothes, she looked normal.
Her hair in a loose ponytail. They had grown out. She looked unkept and that felt fine, she felt slightly free as the sunlight poured its warmth. The scene looked beautiful and peaceful, the sky blue with hues of yellow and darker blue scattered among the soft cotton of clouds. The sun a yellow spot in the sky shining on all of them, looking regal. The lake a few feet away from where she was sitting, a bunch of daffodils shining and looking golden.
Everything of the view spoke a fairytale, but the only stupid fairytale there was, was that she was in love with one. She was in love with a fairytale, it may not be one, but it sure sounded like one.
If only her miserable excuse of a life could be a fairytale. Nicholas was catching butterflies and made dreary attempts that thankfully weren't successful.
Poor butterflies.
Poor her.
Poor world.
Poor fairytales.
In this slightly miserable scorching weather, not exactly scorching but anyway, what she would have wanted was wine, but alas, the emerald eyed beast had objections since the wine was going to harm the child.
It was exhausting, she was famished and moreover missing a certain red head. But the red head was not to be discussed of, as she was still upset.
And yet, her head could not take orders, and that statement was very true, as her head was filled with thoughts of we-all-know-who since morning. That was an understatement as the only thoughts she had were of the princeling. It seemed annoying. And slightly disgusting. Wasn't she supposed to hate him now? Question after question, followed her train of thought.
Or she had all rights to hate herself because even after she had been betrayed in a way, she was still whipped.
It was annoying, irritating on huge levels.
"Lily." Nicholas' voice cut through her thoughts.
She turned her attention to the boy.
"Yes." She said with a slight smile
"Come look at this Lily." He said with a bright smile.
He looked adorable.
She got up, a smile blooming on her face naturally, and took his hand and let him take her.
"That's a cat?" She said
"Yes." The boy said enthusiastically
The small furry cat lay under the tree, fast asleep. The cat looked starved.
"Well, what is it that you want me to do? She asked the boy who smiled shyly.
Then said.
"Can we take care of the cat?" He asked softly
She took it into consideration.
She looked back at Nicholas who now was pouting, an attempt at persuading her by looking adorable, it sadly worked.
She nodded towards the cat. Nicholas happily picked the cat up, the animal had woken up, purring against the small hand of the boy. She picked up Nicholas who was smiling at the cat.
And then she made her way to the estate again.

"Lilliana's been unheard of ever since that bloody marriage ceremony took place." Viviane hissed at her mate.
"I know." Kallias said flatly.
"Come on, She's your sister, who never even wanted to marry that man." Viviane said
"Viviana, for a moment just shut up and realize that you're not the only one worrying." Kallias snapped
"So you're not a fool, and actually love your sister." Viviane said, some part of her eyes turning icy
"Of course I love my sister, I've always had." Kallias said
Viviane raised a pale eyebrow
"Yes, you really love her, If you did Kallias, then why did your sister grow up so cold, that she can't stomach the idea of love. Maybe if you ever cared to realize, you'd see she's very alone." Viviane yelled
"What do you know about her childhood?" Kallias asked
"I don't need to be present in her childhood to know, that she's very upset and she grew up in an environment that never fit her, and I'm not blind, no one here is, we all see how broken she is, and you're the only blind person who can't see her misery. " Viviane said harshly
"What are you proposing? That I've never cared for her, Yes Viviane I know, I've made some fatal mistakes back then that have formed the crooked foundation for her to grow up on." Kallias said quietly
"Well that's that." Viviane said
Kallias sighed.
"Eris is off kilter." Viviane said
"Of course he is, having blood on your hands for centuries does that to you." Kallias said
"What a lovely match you made." Viviane said sighing
"What do you mean? Kallias said placing an arm around her waist.
"Well, you put two of the world's most upset people together, its fair to say its a good match." Viviane said
"Its also fair to say, its hardly working out, They're unhappy." Kallias said
"Not much to blame other than the fact that they both are too stubborn and firm alone, but when put together, really understand each other." Viviane said running a hand through Kallias' hair.
"She looked unhappy at her wedding." Kallias reasoned
"Oh she was, quite a heartbreak I hear, but its not what her eyes say, or his. Both of them were falling for each other at that point, and weren't realizing it, both of them have their own respective traumas that they need to embrace to be able to freely love. Not ignore the trauma but embrace it, accept it with open arms." Viviane said
"I don't quite understand you, love." Kallias said
"They're scared of love, it horrifies them, shakes their roots, but that doesn't stop them from falling in love, it just happens but without any realization. I'm more than frank to say open your eyes Kallias, they're in love, but scared of admitting it, lest its taken away from either of them." Viviane said and kissed Kallias' cheek.

Eris sighed, there was too much to do,

The man was on his knee, offering the woman in front of him a ring, offering a future. The woman was in tears, smiling, looking bright, looking vibrant, looking golden. The ocean blue eyes lined with silver. She nodded and slid the ring onto her finger. It was a promise, a vow. It was a future, it was a shot to have a family with hi . It made her feel joy that she thought was in books only. So she took the blue rose he extended to her and pulled him in for a kiss.
The blue rose that was her favorite.
