Chapter 28: Fixing the Portal

After 2 days of staying in this unknown place, Obed was looking forward to head back to school. After meeting Linda in the same planet who has been there for the past 5 month. The clock seemed to be ticking by and Linda and Obed were looking for ways to fix the portal and get back to Earth.
I have a portal but it's not working properly so it needs fixing, said Florence. This might take a long time probably one Month. Obed didn't care whether it took him a month, year or decades for them to fix the portal. What he was thinking at this moment was how to go to school. After Linda had said this,she also added, we will need an orb which would be used as the power to take us back to Earth.
So, before they started to fix the portal, Obed decided to check Linda's infom As soon as Obed checked his  system, it then showed that Linda has an air ability. After seeing this, he then went to Linda to ask if they can start with the fixing. Sure, let's begin, said Linda. Obed and Linda worked hard that day to get the portal fixed. Obed even removed the old rusted metal part to replace it with a new metal part. Soon, the sky was dark so they had to call it a day. Obed slept in the castle and had his own room whiles Linda had her room. Obed told his system to project what his crew was doing. After saying this, his system projected Obed's crew and saw how they were weeping. Wood came to watch and asked Obed why are your. crew weeping. Before Obed could talk, his system replied, because they think you're dead. Psssssssssss, dead, how possible. I'll be back. Those where Obed's last words before the projector closed. Soon, Obed yawned and started dozing. Wood decided to sleep in on the book shelf which was located on the right side of the wall in Obed's room.
Days went passing, weeks, and Obed had been on this mysterious place for a month. After one month of fixing the portal, it was now ready to be used but all that was left was an orb. Obed went to if his system to see if he had a spare Orb. As soon as Obed, he was relieved to find an orb. After this, Obed's system then asked him, would you like to use this orb for the portal? Yes, said Obed. Then, his system managed to transport the orb to the portal without Linda seeing. After doing transferring the orb to the portal, Linda came and saw the orb in the portal. Wow, that was fast, said Linda. Soon, Linda decided to turn power on the portal. Obed felt hands were shaking because this is his last opportunity or else, he would be in this unknown planet forever. When Linda powered it on, it came on. It worked said Linda.
One was relieved when he saw the portal working. Linda went to the castle to carry her items that were inside e and Obed went to help. After carrying the items, they placed it in the portal and Obed and Linda stood in it. The system then asked Linda, welcome, please which planet would you like to go to? Earth said Linda. Which location? Linda looked at Obed and Obed replied, Panster school.
Soon the portal started to shake and then it disappeared from the red planet of to Earth.
