It’s a week before your birthday.  You expect that your boyfriend, Asa Butterfield, is planning something big for you.  You notice that he’s spending more and more time with your best friend.  You don’t think too much about it until you see him playing with her hair and giving her a hug.  You’re hurt, but you don’t think Asa would do that to you.  Especially not right before your birthday.  The day of your birthday comes and you and your best friend go to the mall and go watch a movie.  When you come home, a huge surprise party is waiting for you.  The whole thing was planned by Asa.  After they cut your cake, Asa pulls you over and tells you that he knew you saw him hugging your best friend.  He explains that he was just hugging her because he was showing her his gratitude for helping him plan your party.  He was playing with her hair because he wanted to learn how to braid hair because you love braiding your hair, and just once, he wanted to braid it for you.  That night was the best night ever because you had a great birthday and it was also the day you and Asa had your first kiss.
